Memories That Stay Even When Love Fades ?✨
🌸From the very beginning, Moments We Shared pulls you in with its beautifully crafted opening—soft visuals, gentle music, and a dreamy atmosphere that feels like stepping into someone’s memories. That starting moment itself feels so calm and emotional, like a quiet promise that this story will touch your heart in ways you don’t expect. 🤌🫶
As the film unfolds, Zhou Ye brings such honesty and warmth to her role that every emotion feels real and personal. The story doesn’t rush; instead, it lets you slowly feel the love, the distance, and the silent pain of growing apart. And then comes the ending… so simple, yet so deeply moving. It doesn’t try to give a perfect closure, but rather leaves you with a quiet emptiness—like something beautiful has ended, but its feeling still lingers inside you.
By the time the movie finishes😭😭, you’re left thinking about your own memories, your own past, and the people who once meant everything. It’s not just a movie, it’s an experience that stays with your heart long after the screen goes dark. 💫

A Heart That Finds Family Beyond Memory ?✨
Watching Unexpected Family felt like quietly sitting with a story that slowly enters your heart without you even realizing it. This is not a loud or dramatic film, but a deeply emotional journey about love, memory, and what it truly means to belong to someone. Jackie Chan’s performance touched me in a way I never expected—so gentle, so real, and so full of pain and warmth at the same time. The way the relationship grows between two strangers, turning into something that feels more genuine than many real families, made me reflect on how love doesn’t always need blood to exist. There were moments that made me smile softly, and others that left a heaviness in my chest. It’s the kind of movie that stays with you even after it ends, making you think about your parents, your connections, and the little things we often take for granted. If you’re someone who appreciates simple yet powerful emotions, this film will quietly break you and heal you at the same time. Was this review helpful to you?
“A Story That Gently Changes You”
I just watched Always Have Always Will, and honestly, I didn’t expect it to hit me this deeply. It’s not one of those loud, dramatic movies, but the emotions feel so real that it slowly gets under your skin. The story feels very natural, like something that could actually happen in real life, and that’s what makes it special. The bond between the man and the little girl is simple but incredibly touching, and you can feel how they change each other without even realizing it. Some scenes are very quiet, yet they say so much, and those are the moments that stayed with me the most. There were times I felt heavy, almost like I was living their struggles, but at the same time, there’s a soft warmth throughout the film that gives you hope. It made me think about life, about how unexpected people can come into your life and leave a lasting impact. By the end, I just sat there for a while, thinking and feeling everything at once. It’s not just a movie you watch and forget, it stays with you. If you’re someone who likes emotional, meaningful stories that feel real and human, I would definitely recommend watching it at least once. Was this review helpful to you?

Loved the movie until I saw the end. It's anticlimactic, it tanked hard for me
Why cut the landing and the quarantine scene? After all the rollercoaster ride, it instantly goes into a peaceful atmosphere. All the tension built only to fizzle out at the crucial moment. It's all good until Park Jae Hyeok lands the airplane. Then it tanked so bad for me.
I was expecting people or rather the whole nation to thank the pilot, flight crew, on-board doctor and the detective (who got himself infected) for their continuous effort of bringing back everyone home safely even when they themselves were infected with virus.
I never expected any another country to allow their landing but not their home country leaving them hanging mid air because of people's protests at the air base.
The people in flight are your own fellow countrymen. They need help. I mean, I don't even want to consider the protestor's concern for infection as the whole staff on land was making the best efforts to get the antidotes.
They even found the source in middle east. But people still wanted to leave them hanging mid-air with less fuel and an ex-pilot with his own fears is traumatic and unfair to everyone who struggled.
That's a big betrayal from the home country, a huge back stab, an emotional damage to anyone affected by the disaster in air or land (family & friends)
This can actually become a very good reason for someone from family/friends to be enraged by whole nation and commit more crimes.
I am pissed and heartbroken at the same time. Abandoning them mid-air only to crash in any place is just a big no.
Now, logically speaking, pilot should have declared an emergency immediately when he knows there is a biohazard on the plane and passenger's health is at risk or when Ryu Jin Seok dies and controlling pilot couldn't operate. Like Choi Hyun Soo knew he has been affected too. He should have declared emergency right away instead of directly approaching Honolulu.
They should have done landing around 1.5 hours and then show the whole aftermath for 20-40 minutes.

Even If This Love Disappears Tonight
First - do not attempt to watch this movie if you do not have a box of tissue close at hand, or watch it if you have recently lost someone you love.Second - expect tears.
This drama ripped open my heart because this was basically my story (less the car accident causing amnesia and the age bracket.
My husband passed away in the middle of the night just like the ML in this drama from a heart condition. I spent many years trying to neutralize the emotions and memories so I didn’t have to feel the pain of losing him so suddenly. I am also an artist, and gave up all forms of art after he passed away also, and am now starting my creative journey again. Strikingly similar, is it not?
I can understand why the 2FL best friend acquiesced to the ML’s request due the trauma it would cause the FL because she would feel the loss and the guilt for having forgotten him. Ut would be a terrible way to live the rest of her life. But as someone who has had those memories diminish over the last 20+ years, I wish I could go back and remember everything. That is sorrow no matter which side you look at it from.
Everything about this drama was beautifully done. There were no typical story lines, no conflicts, no misunderstandings, no combative or controlling parents. Just the two leads doing ordinary things and falling in love.
There were no special effects or dramatic scenes either. The music was sweet and soothing.
The director did an amazing job keeping this a slow burn and beautifully told story of first love and first loss. It was a truly beautiful depiction of real love without the dramatics.
The ending was completely unexpected, and bittersweet. And even though there were tears, for me at least, they were painfully beautiful and healing. A very good movie.

A beautiful high school love story.
(Note: I have NOT watched the 2022 japanese version)HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD:
Absolutely loved the film. The couple was super cute, the friendships were super cute, and the ending was sad yet beautiful. Acting was excellent from everyone and it was great to see Shin Si-a in a lead role, she's a really underrated actor, loved her in Resident Playbook!
Also, I REALLY thought I could hold it in this time, but no, in the last 15minutes the film managed to make me cry, and a lot!
One criticism I have, is that Jae-won's "heart disease" and his eventual death wasn't built as well as it should have been. It came a bit out of nowhere, even if I knew about it beforehand because of the description in MyDramaList. The Netflix description on the other hand says nothing about it which is... interesting. This didn't bother me too much and I loved the movie regardless, even though it clearly is a noticeable writing issue.
Really glad I watched this!

Agents have feelings too
Very nice spy action thriller. The highlights of the movie are the action sequences at the beginning and at the end. The rest of the film is a tense battle of wits, which is perfectly suitable for this kind of movie. I’m glad that the film doesn’t rely on action as its main focus, yet it still delivers the satisfying feel of a proper action movie. The drama is even better than the action. One reviewer here gave this movie a 1/10, describing it as a generic “brain-off” movie, which I strongly disagree with. Yes, the plot is somewhat straightforward, but that’s actually a strength — it keeps the movie from losing balance. I agree that the action follows a somewhat clichéd development, but the true strength of this film lies in the suppressed emotions of the agents. The actors were excellent at portraying the inner struggle between professional duty and personal feelings, and at trying to balance the two. In that sense, the beginning and the final scenes are superb. Not many people understand what it really takes to be an intelligence agent. For action movie lovers, Humint is a must-watch.
♫ Even if we part ways, don’t forget the days we loved... ♫

Don't be fooled by the title, this is a masterpiece
Don't be fooled by the title; this movie is more than it suggests. It’s incredibly wholesome, and only Japan could create something like this, filled with so many valuable lessons. When I first saw the title, I never expected it to be a positive film, but it carries a powerful message. The way the plot unfolds and connects, even with the twelve teenagers attempting something horrific, ultimately transforms the story into one that is incredibly uplifting. By the end, you'll understand why I consider it such a positive experience.
The movie highlights how, when faced with challenges, we often feel stuck and see no solution. However, those outside our situation can view the problem from a fresh perspective and identify solutions we might have missed. It truly shifts the way we think about the challenges and obstacles in our lives, prompting reflection on how, no matter how dire a situation seems, there is always a way forward. Sometimes, when we become too engrossed in our problems, we develop tunnel vision. But if we take a step back or seek help from those around us, they can assist us in breaking that tunnel and seeing the bigger picture.
This movie has a powerful message and is exceptionally brilliant. I highly recommend it, especially for teens ( even adults ) , as it has the potential to change your perspective on life, and maybe teach you something or reshape your perspective about life.

Not my cup of tea
This movie is based on a manga, and you can recognize it immediately due to its exaggerated behaviors that work well in the manga format but come across as unnatural in live action.I’m sure the manga is much better, however, I didn’t enjoy this movie very much. I believe this is mainly because the elements from the manga world don't translate well to a live-action setting, and also the way the scenes transitioned from one to another ( I am guessing maybe they were following the manga storyboard) really affected the flow of the movie. It felt incomplete, as if some parts were not edited properly.
Maybe someone will like this but for me is a pass.

Unfortunately, a total miss for me
This movie is a though one to review : it is not really a romance, much more a slice-of-life and life commentary, pretty dark and bleak. If there are quite a bit I can appreciate from an intellectual point of view :- the symbolisms spread out through the movie,
- the overall esthetics and production value,
- the purposefull soundrak,
the story in itstelf was not enjoyable to me at all. I had difficulty to be grabbed by the plot with its slow pace. It is not really a romance but it features romantic bounds that where a bit difficult to grasp my head around and connect with.
Acting was quite good for the overall cast but with a slight miss :
- Moon Sang Min did a great job but I still couldn't help to found funny how he was cast as a character aspiring to study contempory dancer because of the numerous Music Bank interview he made where his dance talent was really limited and awkward at best. I therefore had to got wit quite a bit of suspencion of disbelief in the very few scenes where a dance, even if the directing mostly filmed in static position. Other than those scenes that felt unconvincing, he did amazing in the other parts.
I would not recommend this movie as it was definitely more a painful (and even boring) watch than an enjoyable one. If you manage to connect with the story, I still think it is pretty impactful and worth giving it a shot, to make your own opinion.

"Do you know what the rich want?...To get richer"
If you watched the first three Roundup films then you know what to expect from The Roundup: Punishment. Our wrecking ball ahjussi hitter takes on cyber crime this time around with his team and comic relief criminal sidekick.Detective Ma makes a promise to a grieving mother that he will find the criminals responsible for her son’s death. The investigation takes him and his team into the world of cyber gambling and sundry crimes. What he’s not initially aware of is he’s dealing with The I.T. Genius and his vicious, knife-wielding enforcer. Ma will have to call in help from the police department’s own I. T. crowd and also the shady Jang I Su.
There is something about Ma Dong Seok I find compelling to watch, even if he’s just throwing hands at bad guys and little else. I thought Ma “no cartilage” Dong Seok moved smoother in this film which was probably due to better choreography and shorter scenes. His punches and ducking were swifter and of course with a little movie magic, always highly effective. The bad guys, led by Kim Mu Yeol’s Baek Chang Gi used knives which I’m not a huge fan of and didn’t think the knife fight choreography was particularly creative. I was only invested when Ma and his meaty fists entered the room.
The film which bounced between the Philippines and RoK lost focus a few times, which may have been more to translation issues. Ultimately, when the big hearted, pounding hitter wasn’t on screen, the story’s momentum faltered. I enjoyed Roundup Punishment for what it was, and in that I wasn’t disappointed. If you’ve watched the other entries in this franchise this is one to give a try. The Big Guy with No Cartilage rarely disappoints.

Ma has quipped that he has “no cartilage” in interviews before. Glad he’s still able to make the movies he wants for now!

No plot just vibes
Okay so I loved the first half of the film- beautiful visuals , cherry blossom, bookstore , feeling lonely in a new environment, shy/awkward to communicate, fear of stranger danger , lingering here and there on a bicycle, watching movies in cinema but fearing dark theater, desperate to find connection like home and female lead's dressing especially.Until it was revealed WHY she moved there , Pfft that was a turn off

Not As Thrilling As I Expected
To be honest, I watched this movie a long time ago, so I don’t remember every detail—but I still remember how it made me feel.I’d rate this movie a 5/10. It’s not completely bad, but it just didn’t feel enjoyable to me.
What stood out at first was how similar the opening felt to a webtoon I had read before. The early scenes were almost identical, so I actually thought it was a webtoon adaptation—but turns out, it’s not. That part kind of threw me off.
As the story went on, I just didn’t find it that exciting. For a zombie movie, it lacked the tension and thrill I was expecting. Instead of feeling hooked, I ended up feeling bored at some parts.
Overall, it’s not the worst movie, but it’s also not something I’d rewatch. It just didn’t leave a strong impression on me.

Another Trauma but so worth it!
Just another Japanese drama, and for some reason, as usua Nana Komatsu plays another traumatic characters, and she is simply brilliant. When I started this movie, I knew I was going to regret it; in fact, I was just sobbing the whole time. The movie has brilliant story, but it’s sooooo SAD!!!!!. However, apart from being sad, the movie highlights important message which is; how most people treat life so lightly, never appreciating the blessing of being alive and healthy while others have their days numbered. It’s incredibly moving, and as only a Japanese film can, it’s extremely sad but at the same time a brilliant piece of work. I think you should dive into this blindly without watching any trailers or reading anything about it. I would definitely add this to my list of must-watch all-time best Japanese movies because its just brilliant.
