Absolutely cinema

It’s not a drama made for K-drama lovers—it’s a drama made for movie lovers.

This wasn’t an easy watch for me because of how heavy and demanding it is. The weight of the story is immense. I genuinely think that if you combined the dialogue from dozens of K-dramas, it still wouldn’t match the sheer amount of conversation packed into this series. It’s so dialogue-driven that I often found myself fully focused on reading and understanding every subtitle just to keep up with the nuances of the conversations.

"We Are All Trying Here" is the perfect title. We're all trying our best, but not everyone succeeds. Feeling jealous of someone else's success is part of human nature—it doesn't automatically mean we hate them. The drama captures that idea beautifully and with remarkable honesty.

The acting across the board is insanely good. Every performance feels authentic, and the opening OST is still stuck in my head.

A masterpiece. Not for everyone, but if you love cinema, character studies, and thoughtful storytelling, this is a must-watch.

Highly recommended.

I found it inspiring

Although I am not sure if such a thing as ERPB exists, I believe that corrupted systems around the world keep going on, where no one can stop them. Still, while I was watching this drama, for once in my life, even if it's delusional, I felt optimistic about the idea itself, that such a system as ERPB in each country would exist, where it would take authority by itself and not be influenced by high-ranking people, and such justice would be brought back to students, teachers, or families. Although the idea seems like a fantasy, I still had a shred of hope that such a thing would exist one day, and fewer students and teachers would commit suicide.

No boring Episodes and fun to watch

l'm a person that can't watch a long series because Some can get boring but not this one, this one is built/witten very well all Episodes are fun. I like that includs modern & historic Times, but also time traveling & mystery solving of klao's Death and his fathers too. I'm happy theres a happy ending and lead's to a good message. The actor's also did a very good job of acting you can feel the emotions and I love that even the side characters have a greate personality like Chouay (I think that's how you spell it).

The first film is infinitely better

If you've seen the first Tonde Saitama film, you've basically already seen this one as well. The plot is pretty much the same as in the first installment except this time around, instead of having peanuts stuck in his holes, Gackt gets forcefed takoyaki and has his nipples rubbed and face licked. He also emotionally cheats on his lover, Momomi, with his... brother??? Yeah. They were edging us with that incestuous yaoi. Overall though, I think the fun costume and set designs carried over from the first film to this one and I do love the campness of it all. Other than that this movie was pretty boring, since they basically copy and pasted the story from the first film. Another big flaw in my eyes was the fact that Momomi had very little screentime and was basically replaced by Gackt's brother as a love interest, well, until he wasn't of course, because they are brothers. Yeah idk man, I think this would've been a lot better with a more original story and if Gackt had made out with more random dudes.

Good but overhyped and overrated

I checked out this drama to see what all the hype was about. And after watching it, I get it — but only partially.

What worked for me: This might be the first time I've watched a drama where bullies actually got exactly what they deserved, delivered in the same way they treated their victims. That was deeply satisfying. The first episode was easily the strongest and hooked me immediately.

However, I do think this drama is overhyped. It's good, but nothing more than that.

The main issue for me was a lack of emotional connection to the characters. Toward the end, I found myself losing interest. I believe the drama would have benefited from featuring fewer individual stories and exploring each one in greater depth. That would have allowed viewers to properly invest in the narrative and the characters. Instead, it felt more like watching a fantasy play out rather than a grounded, emotionally resonant story.

Verdict: Worth watching for the satisfying comeuppance and a strong opening episode. But temper your expectations — this is not the masterpiece the hype might suggest.

A typical Domundi production, quite shallow, quite emotionless...

Also as expected, the review section is flooded with 10, even when it's not even close. The biggest problem the show has is history. And I don't mean if the people in the story really existed or not - that is not the point. All the english reviews are from non-thai people, not knowing about thai history and how gay life was viewed 400 years ago. What I can tell you, is this script is westernized (or even the novel was), because there was no gay hate 400 years ago. All this bullshit hating queer people come from the british influence in the region. Just turn to India and you see what the brits did to them. Gay life was "prosperous" in old india but nowadays it's one of the most homophobic countries in the world. In Thailand there was no gay-hate, even the then so called "3rd gender" was not hated at all.

And when a script is westerized it should reflect that in how actors are styled. Kim may be a very feminine person in real life but the team underscored his feminity in this series which is diametrical of what the script would like us believe: that to be gay was frowed at. If it was so bad in old times, he would try to hide it as best as he could - as many in europe did at that time.

I forgot to write that most Domundi productions are also heteronormalized. One character is clearly the man and the other character is clearly a woman. It's not about two gay man meeting each other.

So for me this is fundamental problem with the whole series. It's not believable for me, because I know the past was not as depicted here. The slapstick comedy did not help either. It's not "I'm the most beautiful Count". Net & Kim delivered their roles, but especially Latte was very stiff and devoid of emotions. JJ improved over the series, but he had his problems with emotional or nc-scenes. It's not bad, but also not great. The script did some stupid things, also they explained the time-travel - which I ask myself - why? It's a fairy tale, no need to explain everything but the revelation that Phob organized all of it from the future, so the past does happen - it's an infinity loop - and makes not much sense. Even when the novel did describe it that way, I would have cut it - because it's an illogical explaination. If he did it in the "now" - he could not have remembered the past, because the altering of the past did not happen - as we see in the first episode when the "history" is explained.

Production quality was mostly excellent, with some nitpicks (audio, ac running in the background), great costumes, overall the quality expected of a Domundi production. But besides that, the story was medicore, not bad, not good, production quality elevated the series a bit. At least it's better then Duang With You 😋. If you like it, that's good for you, but I did expect more.

ANOTHER HIT FROM DMD !!

I geniunely admire DMD for never missing on bls. Everytime an episode ends, I can't help wondering what would happen next. I love NetJj so much, they did so well portraying Phop and Klao. There were so many unpredictable scenes and that's what I love about this series.

The production of this series was very tough, and I could say that every single thing was worth it. The amount of effort they have put in this was crazy, like I was really anticipated from the first till the very last episode. I have been waiting for this series ever since the very first pilot trailer and it geniunely makes me feel so teary-eyed now that it has ended T__T

(Also, my favorite thing about LUAT is Daydream OST:3 I LOVE Bowkylion. When I first heard her voice I was actually loosing my mind 😭😭😭.)

I would like to add the fact that Kim is gorgeous (like I am not even exaggerating when I say he's THAT beautiful). Everytime he appears on screen I just start crashing out because he's too stunning.

Anyways, all I can say is that I am so happy to be here since day one. Believe me when I say it's THAT good. Trust me, everything about this is beautiful and I recommend everyone to watch it !!

(never forgetting that 5 minute scene from tutoryim by the way... it made me wanna bawl my eyes out)

?✨ A Drama That Teaches More Than Just Lessons

Guys, before starting this drama, prepare yourself for an emotional rollercoaster. 🎢 One moment you'll be smiling, the next you'll be frustrated, and then suddenly you'll find yourself reflecting on your own life.
And no, our main leads aren't exactly lovers—they're more like friends who deeply care about each other. But don't worry, there's still a sweet little romance sprinkled throughout the story that will warm your heart. 💛
What really stood out to me were the issues this drama tackled. The topic of parental expectations hit especially close to home. Watching parents place the weight of their dreams on their children felt painfully real. I remember once asking my own parents, "Why didn't you become what you expect us to become?" Their answer? "We didn't have the resources you have." When I asked why they didn't try later, the conversation suddenly changed topics. 😅 This drama reminded me that these conversations happen in so many families.
Beyond that, the drama blends school life, crime, action, friendship, and a touch of romance surprisingly well. The characters feel real, their struggles feel relatable, and the story gives you plenty to think about long after an episode ends.
If you're looking for a drama that entertains while also making you reflect on family, dreams, and growing up, then Teach You a Lesson deserves a spot on your watchlist.
P.S. – Sometimes the hardest lessons in life aren't taught in classrooms—they come from the people who love us the most. 💙

Honest Opinion

As someone who had was really looking forward to seeing lattekim in a series I did love this show!

I just think I had my expectations too high. every week I was left on a cliffhanger that kept me coming back for more but the ending felt empty.

I also personally struggle a lot with second hand embarrassment and sometimes JJ’s acting admittedly put me off, but they all worked so hard on the show that it doesn’t matter.

Overall a good show! I wouldn’t rewatch but I enjoyed tuning in every week. A bit dissapointed in some aspects but I am just picky.

Well done to everyone in the cast!

Historical, Romance, Fantasy? All three genres fit this series perfectly.

If you like stories like this, you won’t find anything particularly new here. It’s the same old tale that’s been rehashed a million times. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes you just want to sit back and enjoy a familiar story done well.

This was actually a very pleasant, beautifully shot, and emotional series that kept me hooked enough to look forward to a new episode every week. The pacing is solid, even though it slows down a little after the midpoint. The characters are easy to like or dislike, depending on the situation.

As a romance, it was mild, incredibly cute, and charming. I genuinely felt that the love between Phop and Klao was real and deep. You could see their feelings in the way they looked at each other, how they talked, how they touched, and how they cared. The teasing, the sweet moments, and the times they showed vulnerability were absolutely adorable. I was really grateful that the story didn’t rely on over-the-top drama to prove their love.
Seeing them reconnect was delightful.
And can we talk about the side characters? Kaew and Jom were the cutest! It was a bit frustrating at times because they just needed to sit down and talk, but I loved how everything turned out perfectly in the end.
Romance aside, I really loved this show for the friendships and the overall warm vibe.

As a fantasy (time travel) story, I understand how difficult it is to do something truly fresh in this genre — and that wasn’t really the main goal here. What mattered more was why he ended up in the past and what he needed to do to find his way back. That emotional core was handled nicely.

As a historical drama, it captured the atmosphere beautifully. It gave me enough detail to imagine the world and how people lived at the time.

Overall, I had a lot of fun watching it. It’s a really good series. My only small complaint is that the miscommunication was dragged out until the very end, and I wish I could have enjoyed their time together in the present a bit more.

A rollercoaster ride

I am really enjoying this drama so far. The drama has a perfect mix of horror, mystery, and adventure. Every episode introduces new clues and secrets, making me curious about what will happen next. The mysterious places and unexpected twists made me want to keep watching. The main characters work well together, and their friendship is one of the best parts of the drama. Another reason for liking this drama is the dark atmosphere and strange cases, the action is also top notch. I love how the story slowly reveals clues instead of giving away all the answers at once. The mysterious events, eerie locations, and unexpected twists make the drama very engaging. It feels like every solved mystery opens the door to an even bigger one. Even though the drama has not ended yet, it has already become one of the most enjoyable mystery dramas I have watched recently, and I cannot wait to see how the story unfolds.

°-°

I honestly think that it was a really great series. The acting was great, and the chemistry between the actors was amazing. I’m hoping that in the future NetJJ and LatteKim will get more recognition because they both did an excellent job bringing their characters to life. Even though I don’t usually like BLs that involve past lives and time travel, I really enjoyed this one. The story kept me interested, and it was fun to watch.

The emotional moments felt genuine, and the characters were easy to connect with. I also liked how the relationship developed naturally throughout the series. The production quality, soundtrack, and overall atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I really liked this series and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a BL with a great storyline, strong performances, and great chemistry between the leads.

10/10 - Absolute Masterpiece!

I just finished the finale Episode, and I am honestly so sad that this journey of waiting for new Episode is over. I used to look forward to new episodes every single Friday, and now it leaves a huge void. To be fair, I don't usually watch historical dramas, but this Series completely blew me away. It is easily one of the best series I have ever seen. Before this, I didn't even know JJ, but his performance along with the entire cast was absolutely phenomenal. On top of that, the music and the soundtrack are incredibly beautiful. Everything about this production is just perfect. I am heartbroken that it's over, but at the same time, I cannot recommend it enough. If you haven't watched it yet, please do yourself a favor and stream it. It deserves all the love! 💖
