I enjoyed it for what it is

I feel like a lot of people are judging this series based on the expectations they had in their head, instead of what the show actually is. And like… I get it, I was frustrated with some things too. I do wish they had taken more risks with the couples, especially if they were gonna lean into that whole “Only Friends” vibe.

But honestly? I enjoyed it for what it is. It’s overall pretty fun to watch. I have to admit, Dean and Jack were the least interesting to me at first, but the last few episodes??? they kinda grew on me 😭 I lowkey hoped the show would be bold enough to not keep them together, or maybe have them find each other again later when they’re more mature.

I stayed for Rome and Raffy, but I really wish we got more depth from them as characters. Actually, I feel like that’s true for all the characters...we needed a bit more exploration overall. The first season definitely isn’t perfect, and yeah there were moments of frustration, sadness, and even disappointment… but at least I could understand the characters. Here, I get them, but I don’t feel as connected.

That being said, I still had fun watching it!!

P.S. Tua and Arnold were cute, but they just didn’t do it for me overall. Like I like them, I’m happy for them… I just don’t care that much 😭

P.P.S. huge props to all the actors and the crew!! you can really see the effort that went into this. It’s not my fave of the year, but I genuinely enjoyed it, and I could see the improvement in some performances and how others absolutely shined 😊

A Love Letter to Jeju, Healing, and Epic Love

Some dramas are enjoyable the first time around, but Welcome to Samdal-ri is the kind of drama that becomes even more special on a rewatch. I already loved it the first time I watched it, but revisiting it made me appreciate just how layered, thoughtful, and beautifully crafted it truly is.

One of the drama’s greatest strengths is how immersive it feels. It’s not just set in Jeju — it fully embraces the Jeju lifestyle, culture, and atmosphere in a way that makes you feel like a local living in Samdal-ri alongside the characters. The seaside scenery, the close-knit community, the haenyeos, the slower pace of life — everything feels authentic and alive. The visuals are absolutely stunning, but beyond that, the drama captures the warmth and emotional texture of small-town life so well.

The storytelling is exceptional. The pacing is deliberate, allowing emotions, relationships, and past wounds to unfold naturally over time. From the very beginning, there’s a lingering tension between the leads that immediately pulls you in, and as their history slowly reveals itself, the emotional weight behind their relationship becomes even more powerful.

And at the center of it all is such an epic love story. A love that feels lived-in, complicated, enduring, and deeply human. You cannot help but root for them. Their chemistry, history, misunderstandings, and unwavering connection make every emotional moment hit even harder.

Welcome to Samdal-ri is more than just a romance drama — it’s comforting, emotional, healing, and incredibly immersive. One of those rare dramas that truly takes you on a journey.

Why The Water Is a Must-Watch Thai GL

The Water may not stick every landing in its finale, but as a complete series, it still stands as one of the most ambitious and emotionally layered productions currently within #ThaiGL. Between the chemistry of #Englot, thoughtful character development, strong production quality, and a story centered around healing, identity, and love, the series consistently aimed higher than most. MUST WATCH!!!!!

I can confidently say that Perfect Crown is one of the most breathtaking K-dramas I have ever watched. Every single episode left me emotional, speechless, and completely in awe.

IU and Byeon Woo-seok truly amazed me with their chemistry. Their connection felt so natural, sincere, and powerful that it never looked like acting anymore — they fully became Seong Huiju and Grand Prince Yi An. They absolutely deserve a Grand Prize for delivering such unforgettable performances.

What made their love story even more beautiful is how they always fought for each other and stood by one another no matter how difficult the situation became. Their relationship felt mature and healthy because they communicated honestly and resolved their misunderstandings within the same episode instead of dragging conflicts for too long. Watching them protect, trust, and comfort each other made their romance feel real and deeply moving.

The secretaries were also incredibly funny and lovable. Their chemistry with both Huiju and Yi An brought so much life and balance to the drama. Every scene with them was entertaining and memorable. Honestly, the whole cast was magnificent. Every actor gave their best effort and truly lived as their characters instead of simply playing a role. They did not just give justice to the script — they made the story feel alive and real.

The acting in this drama was beyond superb. IU and Byeon Woo-seok’s expressions, emotions, and delivery were so powerful that words are honestly not enough to describe how incredible they were. I was left completely speechless. Their visuals together were also absolutely insane — truly too hot to handle.🔥 They matched each other perfectly on screen, and I sincerely hope they work together again in another project because their chemistry is simply unmatched.

And of course, the OST deserves special praise. The music played such a vital role throughout the drama. Every song perfectly reflected Grand Prince Yi An’s love for Huiju, making emotional scenes even more unforgettable. The OST captured the longing, devotion, pain, and warmth of their love story so beautifully.

To Grand Prince Yi An, soon-to-be King, my Queen Huiju, the incredible cast, writers, directors, and the entire production team — thank you for giving your all. We, the viewers, truly saw your passion and effort in every single episode. Perfect Crown is not just a drama; it is an experience that will stay in my heart for a very long time.👏👏😍🎉

Story was only okay

I can’t help that I’m shallow but I was not really here for the story. The story is only okay. It’s a kind of interesting premise at least.

No, I am here for the characters, and, by all the gods and their various avatars, the CHEMISTRY. It is BONKERS. It is GLORIOUS. It kept me watching all the way through and landed this on the ol’ rewatch list very quickly. (I know, I know, we should care about other stuff but like I said, I’m shallow.)

In my defence: on one side, we have a literal Greek god made flesh. On the other side, we have the hottest twink to ever walk this undeserving earth. And both are great actors in their own right, such that even the plot device of one of them being able to read minds doesn’t stop the sexual tension from being ratcheted through the roof. They’re also kinda funny and adorable, and I was here for all the small moments they had together.

The second couple - I could take or leave them. They did an okay job but I just wasn’t as interested in them.

In summary: has some flaws, has some ridiculous plot holes, but what can I say? It’s fluffy, funny, cute and sexy. Try it if that’s your thing. (Or if you’re into abs. You can thank me later.)

SPOILERS NOW

.
.
.
I was literally CHEERING when Suriya instantly chooses to run away with Thorn regardless of what his father says. “Oh so I have to pick my family’s wealth or my insanely hot boyfriend? WELP, JUST LET ME GET THE CAR.” Man knows what he really wants, and is ready and willing to move mountains to get it.

Can I say how much I love that Thorn and Apo are two completely different people, and the same actor nailed them both? Seriously, the ending scene when they finally meet was fantastic. 10/10, no notes.

I also have a theory that, while Thorn gets to go back to be with his hunky Greek god husband, the real Apo gets Thorn’s life in his world and immediately took over like the boss he is. I think that story would be hilarious and awesome.

Very interesting and intriguing concept, but lacking in character and relationship depth

Truly interesting and fun concept! I like the whole seeing into the future thing, and it is something that actually have a explanation to it. The show, however, lacks in having a slow start and not that much depth to its characters and their relationships. But it's still fun to see a BL have a more unique concept and a plot-point that is not just connected to romance.

I think the show started out too slow, but also too fast? Many characters and multiple plotlines were introduced at once and I didn't really understand their connections or the overall plot. I think the 4 minutes should have been introduced earlier and more focus should have been put on it. It is introduced in the first episode, but the focus is not there, instead we are introduced to many characters and the side couple already gets established before we even know who the main couple is.

I also think there were way too much fan service for my taste, especially in the first half of the show. I am actually interested in the romance aspect, and I don't think that much fanservice needs to be shown. This show was just waaay too horny in my opinion. They should instead have put more focus on actually establishing the characters.

Even if the start felt slow and a bit over the palce, I was very pleasently surprised by how the 4 minutes thing was explained. I really loved that plotline! Such a cool concept and it really tied the whole story together. They actually gave a solid explanation as to why Great could see into the future. When thinking back on the earlier episoded there were many signs of what were actually happening, but you don't really register it until the whole reveal happen. There are some clever forshadowing, and during the later half you get a the connection. For example that Great essentially has panik attack in the elevator in the first episode.

Just the first half actually kinda made we wanna drop the series, because I just didn't feel that invested and it was just too much fanservice for my taste. But I am glad that I stuck to it since the plot twist actually was very interesting.

I am a bit disappointed in the romance, I don't really feel like there were that big of a connection between the couples. I would have wanted to have the main couple be a bit more established and have them more explored. They seem to be fated together, and there is definitely chemistry there. However, it still feels sort of flat. There aren't that many interactions between them and actually not that much focus on the romance or how their relationship develops.

I think the story of the side couple (Korn and Tonkla) is interesing. There is more depth and history to them, but it still could have been explored more. I also think Tonkla is a interesting character by himself.

Overall, I do wish that the characters were explored more and their various relationships. I would have wanted more time with the characters and for them to have more depth. I think both couples should have been explored more, but also other relationships. For example Korn and Great's relationship, like how close are they as brothers? I would have wanted to see more of Great's reaction to the whole situation about Korn and Tonkla. Since both couples have connections via the plot, it would have been interesting to actually have some interactions between them. I feel like their storylines are too seperated from each other, when they actually should be connected.

The ending felt a little bit rushed, but they still tried to tie everything together in the last episode. I think the show would have benefitted with being a bit longer, just so they would have more time to explore the whole plot and tie up all of the loose ends more nicely. Or some plotlines should have been cut to give more time and depth to other plotlines.

The cinemothography is very solid. There were some nice shots and I liked how some scenes were filmed. Specifically the scenes with Great when he is first experiencing his power. I really like how time and clocks are incorporated into the scenes, always giving the viewer a reminder of the 4 minutes.

Lim ji yeon is better than this

Another furmulaic and kitcshy kdrama from SBS.
I decided to give this series a chance because I think Lim Ji-yeon is a good actress and very charismatic. After watching the first episode of My Royal Nemesis, I thought it wasn’t bad, it had a good pace, and the scene where the FL had to drink the poison was emotional and powerful.
I even found myself laughing here and there.
However, the second episode exposed exactly what I feared this show would be- kitschy and formulaic, just like SBS knows how to do (like they did with dynamite kiss). The humor is childish and over-the-top, and there were far too many scenes of her adjusting to the modern world, which I found exhausting.
The scenes kept jumping back and forth between comedy and emotional drama. the lack of balance really showed a lack of professionalism. I can't even connect with Lim Ji-yeon's performance here. it feels exaggerated and forced. As for Heo Nam-jun, at first glance, he might look convincing as the cold chaebol, but in my opinion, he lacks the acting skills required for a leading role. his acting is robotic. It seems they preferred to rely on his looks (like that shirtless scene) rather than his actual acting abilities.

You won't regret watching this series

t’s been a long time since a TV series made me laugh, cry, get excited, disappointed, and then get excited all over again—but mostly just stay completely glued to the screen.

The best thing about this show is the performance of the two lead actors, and what’s hard to believe is that this is the first serious acting role for both of them. They brought a captivating sincerity and an undeniable chemistry to the screen that makes it hard to take your eyes off them.

Yes, the plot isn’t perfect—there are a few plotlines that could be better and scenes I would have skipped or done differently—but I can honestly say that this show, and especially its main actors, have found a big special place in my heart.

I really, really hope to see them in a second season!

its a cute fluff drama that, inspired from a manga, which also has a japanese adaptation, having watched the japanese drama as well, i would say that i really liked this version more, it might be because the actors looked nice together but thats no reason, the japanese version is probably more manga accurate. however this adaptation is totally worth watching, i specially liked its music it was so good and really fun to listen to.

a fun drama where every chracter peaked. its the kind of show that can absolutely make your day. waiting every week for this show was so worth it, it literally made saturdays so fun cause you know you are going to get another masterpiece that you cannot watch without smiling, i swear my facial muscles were in real strain because of this show.

this is not a typical drama, its filled with second hand emarassment and is a complete meme material. in my opinion, its a big hit because its like that, a lot cringey and funny, not something that you generally expect when you start watching a show that too in a mafia setting, also the actors really did a great work, especially pond naravit, who brought khun thee to life. the acting was really good and done without any visible inhibition. loved it!

in conclusion, its a show that you can definately watch when you are down to feel good, its every episode is an absolute masterpiece. one thing is that you cannot be bored with it, and if you are watching it for the first time, its full of surprises, things that you cannot even think of doing of are done by them in the show, its unpredictable, you'll be screaming at the screen telling the characters not to do something and thats what they'll do. but its definately worth watching.

This drama is nothing very special. It’s just a normal and common love story. As always, the biggest problem with Chinese dramas is that they have too many episodes. Other than that, it’s still enjoyable to watch because all the actors and actresses gave their best performances.

Usually, I don’t like Chinese dramas with too many couples because it becomes messy and hard to focus on one story. But in this drama, I loved all three main couples. Every couple had amazing chemistry, and that made the drama more enjoyable.

The casting was also very good. All the actors and actresses matched their roles perfectly. Even though Zheng Li may not be considered very beautiful by some people, it honestly doesn’t matter because her acting and chemistry were strong enough to make her character lovable.

I must also mention Ma Yi Yi, Zheng Li’s friend in the drama. She is absolutely beautiful and has such a stunning look on screen.

Overall, this drama is worth watching. It may not be unique or extraordinary, but the chemistry, casting, and performances make it enjoyable.

the whole movie was essentially a flashback to the prequels.

i really liked the first two parts of this franchise, they were cute, fluffy and the ship looked so nice together. however, I feel like this movie did not have much content of its own it only included flashbacks from the prequels and only a few new scenes. though the ending was good, it was just a little too boring going through the prequels in such depth which was not really needed.

Not typical handsome actors

I watch this because of the story and Lim Ji-Yeon who has been a good actress. but I didn't e xpect to see they pick ugly actors. small ling eyes on a big pale face or wrinkle eyes with weird ears...As I like the story, always love time traveling story, having Lim Ji-Yeon acting, I will finish it.
ps. someone should fix this dite, the ads don't show up on the right place while on the phone, also ask to review at least 300 characters but not counting
