Totally delightful, a true treat, a true HEALING ART
This drama is one of those classic masterpieces, 10 star drama with significant impact. Super great script, acting, camera, music, messages, everything.=====written after ep 9 =======
This drama is not about two ppl who quickly fell in love and jumped on each other
This drama is about two wounded ppl who ran into each other bc of work, and then started collaborating and helping each other, HEALING, and slowly falling in love.
SO THIS IS SLOW BURN EMOTIONAL WORKOUT
LIKE IN REAL LIFE
YOU SEE THE RELATIONSHIP PROGRESS
So.... This drama has no official dating and relationship, no steamy scenes YET
ML and FL are hanging out in a very close friendship, helping each heal, and slowly falling for each other...
and at this point they got so far that they are already known to the public as "dating" and dedicated to each other and liking each other.
He is already sure he likes her romantically and is already dreaming about it and flirting to self advertise...
She has some issues that perhaps prevent her from dedicating herself but she acts as his advocate and tells ppl she sees something in him...
But they never said I LOVE YOU or kissed yet or spent time in a private place just 2 of them.
BUT it is slowly getting there :)
THE WHOLE DRAMA IS ABOUT GETTING THERE
SO YES THIS IS A SLOW BURN ROM-COM AND PSYCH DRAMA AND EVEN THRILLER ALL ROLLED INTO ONE
====written after ep 1====
I am writing this after ep 1 because the summary writeup in MDL top page and the earlier MDL article for the drama does NOTHNG to convey what this drama is like.
This is absolutely delightful!
What a masterpiece! such a great story and acting, and filming. So creative.
Gods prevented me from bailing out on this drama by sending me an Angel user who wrote that the script writer for this drama also wrote My Mister, which is one of my top favs.
Based on the writeup in the MDL preview article long time ago, I thought this would be a gloomy psychological melodrama - no thanks!!!!!... - but heck no! There is humor, there is depression and hunger and loan sharks, and there is sunlight and fields of flowers and new experiences and love.
Totally charming and delightful. A real art piece :) Very deep, compassionate, painful, funny, such a treat!
I give Thanks to the Great Creator and drama production team that made this kdrama possible.
I trust that this will continue in all episodes :)
Helelujah baby we got a real kdrama to watch!!!!!!!
This is an event to be celebrated - we will be watching a masterpiece being born for the next 6 weeks. Also we will be watching transformation and rebirth of ML and FL, and hopefully all the commercially oriented 8 and their entourage.

on the topic of humanity and love
i remember telling my friend we should give dwy a try as nothing else was really airing and i has seen one clip on tiktok that looked fun enough. that small decision led me into 11 weeks filled with these characters and their beautiful story.what started as a goofy bl ended up being one of the most realistic, natural and tragically lovely shows i've ever seen. i was a little worried about how the serious scenes would look with someone like duang around, but it is true that the goofier the start the more heartbroken you get to the end. i never expected to cry with this show, but cry i did. a lot of it. duang's love, far from being a childish crush, feels like an overwhelmingly warm ray of sunlight in qin's lonely world. everything about this show is an act of love - friends, family and lovers. love moves this show, and it does it so well.
i'd like to ask those who have dropped this to please give it a second chance to really learn who duang and qin are. i wish i could forget this show so i could watch it again. in just a few weeks duang with you has become my favorite tv show of all times.
to teetee & por, i hope we can meet each other again many times to come đ©·

BORING!!!
Wow! What a great opportunity missed! The story was far too long, I think 12 episodes would suffice, after the 12th it was a drag!
The writer here had an interesting imagination: who in todayâs society goes through all of that, works in a toxic environment like that, is stalked and assaulted, goes through hell with her mother and even renounces the love of her life just to live in the same house as her demonic mother, drunken father and her good for nothing brother??!! I mean come on?
It was so much so that I had to fast forward the last 6 episodes.
Donât waste your time!
Music was actually quite funny, they only had 2 (TWO) songs the entire series!

proof that fans are ...
Every movie or series with a top tier good looking to be even called human cast that gets hyped from the start usually suffers from terrible storytelling. In this case, what makes it even more painful to watch is the acting if you can even call these 'fanservice' slow-motion poses acting. The story is absolute garbage; we have a rich CEO from an even richer family clan (how nice that chaebols still exist in an 'alternative' timeline) who wants to marry the second in line for the throne. The plot is the same tired formula from 30 years ago. Someone is against the marriage, and the second prince probably caused all the drama himself just by giving everyone that 'Zoolander' look. Whatâs even the point of an alternative monarchy if itâs just for the cosplay suits and sneaky ads for modern day franchises?
The excuses Iâve read on social media make me wonder, are people really that mentally numb for looks? Does only aesthetic count? To be honest, you might as well watch it with the sound off and the subtitles set to Martian. The story is trash just youâre only here to drool over the main leads and stop pretending this writing is worth praising."

Love that turns to hatred & a pestering wound that pains & they suffer in silence
Love how beautifully this drama was made & offcours Bai Lu's acting & emotion display perfevt as always her pair with the male Lead is so perfect! Fell in love with A'Yue & Bai JiusiThe biggest and most heart wrenching part of this drama is that sometimes the heartbreak is so severe it renders you helpless even if you want to let go. And when you finally are ready the time has past. The drama isn't a reality you'll only get one single chance to let go of past heart wrnching soul breaking grudges if you want to grasp onto the same person who directly or indirectly might be a reason for that terrible pain. But when time heals and you can chose them. Chose them cus you might not get a second chance ever again.

Yeah, no.
A relentless chase by an obsessed boy, towards a boy that's not interested in him whatsoever. Humor targeted towards teens and preteens.Watch at your own risk.
All BLs, including Thai BLs have progressively gotten worse every year. When we expected masterpieces, it's like the industry is going through a regression of sorts.
This bl screams 2016 when they were just starting to infiltrate the market. How is it that there's absolutely no progress, 10 years in?
If you're looking for something great to watch, this is not for you, especially if you're a veteran bl fan.
If you're a beginner and looking for something simple to start with, I would also not recommend, but it's better than nothing.

definitely not recommanding it
I almost dropped it but I was believing something interesting would happened but you know what ? even the end annoyed me.I donât even know what to say.. it was just mid, everything was SO MID, from the beginning to the end.
the main story seemed to be very interesting but it ended up mixed with unecessary love stories between the characters, I feel like the love moments were just a way to fill some void in the script.. it was too much.
donât watch it if youâre searching for something interesting.

Excellent acting and costuming, meandering story
Costumes and makeup stand out - I haven't seen many other dramas that do period makeup, hairstyles, clothing, and accessories as well as this! I'm not an expert, but everything seems to fit what I've read about Tang dynasty aesthetics and fashion. Some of the wigs look a bit awkward, but nothing noticeable. The background scenes containing dancing, martial arts, wrestling, performers, etc. fill the show with color and interesting sights. The actors all do a great job, but Miles Wei as Liu Chang is a standout. He plays his role with great subtlety and really brings the character to life. Most other "self-centered young master" characters are just boring and formulaic caricatures and they could never invoke so many disparate emotions - pity, fear, admiration, hate, disgust, and more. This is the most complex and interesting villain I've seen in a while. Tu Song Yan, playing Prince Ning, is also excellent. His acting and portrayal of the scheming royal are masterful and convincing.
The cinematography is nothing special, but the attention to detail is obvious. The care paid to the composition and juxtaposition of scenes was noticeable and lends aura to a drama without very many dramatic moments or emotional scenes.
The story is meandering and although many things happen it feels like there's little in terms of progression. It's quite realistic in a way, and it never really gets boring, but there's no "payoff".
The romance is understated and doesn't feel like a focus of the series. Women's rights and position in society, and the relations between nobles, merchants, commoners, and slaves, were brought to the fore many times. It's hard to tell where a storytelling with a commitment to historical accuracy ends and where modern social commentary begins, but these scenes don't feel pedantic or forced and are rather thought-provoking instead.

Did not disappoint!!
.This was AMAZING. A must watch.
Honestly I've liked this pair since their 1st series as a side couple but THIS is amazing, I'm waiting to see them together in more series from now on because DWY was just so funny n cute, making me wait every single week without making me feel bored or anything.
For people who haven't watched it yet I feel like this will be a great series to binge bc it's just entertaining n so silly.
At first there used to be some hate comments either about Duang or Qin but honestly just ignore it, I believe this series is silly on purpose and it's for people who r looking for a cute healthy relationship with lots of 'funny' moments just like how the 1st series they acted in was like.. so simple yet so healthy.
But if anyone doesn't like cringy healthy romance, I get it, I won't judge, it's just not for them.. I just happen to be one of the 90% of ppl who love this series.
Also unrelated but I'd love to see TeeTeePor act in a series where they're enemies to lovers, like Bad Buddy.. or maybe a body swap like in Queendom, either would be cool af.
10/10 đ„č

THE STORY LINE !!!!
you wonât believe how beautifully they have woven the game aspect to the real life aspect. And the seamless transition from strangers to lovers, makes you all giddy!!! A must watch. I got hooked onto a drama after so so long, I finished it in in 2 sitting! The FLâs acting was genuinely so convincing and I loved how even though the story demanded an age gap, the writers didnât make her look like an immature child, with unnecessary cringe acting. I loved the fact that the FL had a spine and didnât get portrayed as some damsel in distress. Additionally, loved the Female second leadâs life trajectory! All in all a must watch imo!

The Premise and the Character: Nanno is no ordinary vigilante; she functions more as an entity or a "mirror" of human depravity. In each school, she identifies individuals hiding dark secrets, hypocrisy, or cruel desiresâwhether they are abusive teachers, envious students, or corrupt school systems. The "Reset" occurs in the lives of both victims and aggressors: Nanno doesn't just punish; she exposes the internal rot of each person, forcing a traumatic restart where the masks fall off.
Season Highlights
Poetic Justice: The series shines by showing that the punishment always fits the crime. If someone seeks fame at the expense of others, Nanno ensures that fame becomes their undoing.
Social Critique: The script head-on attacks elitism, bullying, and the abuse of power within Thai educational institutionsâthemes that resonate globally.
Acting: Chicha Amatayakul delivers an iconic performance. Her maniacal laughter and icy stare make Nanno one of the most memorable anti-heroines of recent years.
Conclusion: Season 1 is an uncomfortable yet fascinating journey. It forces us to question our own morality while watching, with a guilty pleasure, as Nanno tears down toxic power structures. It is a must-watch for fans of Black Mirror and Death Note.

I have nothing to say apart WOW!!??
I'm literally sobbing because this series is just amazing I'm gonna miss it...đđDuang With You is the kind of BL that doesnât just tell a love story it wraps around your heart and stays there. From the very first moments to the final scene, it feels soft, genuine, and effortlessly beautiful. Thereâs no forced awkwardness, no secondhand embarrassment just pure chemistry and emotions that feel real.
The relationship grows in such a natural way that you find yourself completely invested, blushing at the smallest moments and holding onto every interaction. Duang, as a character, brings warmth and sincerity, making it impossible not to fall in love with his story. Qin on the other hand adds this calm, charismatic energy that balances everything perfectly, and together they just work.
But what really elevates the series is everything around them. Duangâs friends are incredibly supportive, bringing joy, laughter, and a sense of comfort that makes every scene feel alive. Their presence isnât just background itâs part of the heart of the story. Even the families and side characters feel genuine, like everyone is rooting for their happiness, and that makes the whole world feel safe and warm.
And TeePor⊠unforgettable. Thereâs something about them in the series that makes every scene feel alive and comforting at the same time.
What makes this series special is how it leaves you feeling full, happy, and a little broken because you know itâs over. Itâs not just a show you watch; itâs one you feel, and one youâll carry with you long after the last episode ends.
A BL that doesnât make you cringe, only makes your heart race. Truly unforgettable.

this is by far the best C-drama I watched this year.
Title: Beautifully Told, Brilliantly Performed â But the Ending Falls ShortThis drama is a deeply moving and well-crafted story. The cast delivers heartfelt, convincing performances, and the OST is outstanding â it elevates every scene and lingers long after an episode ends. On those strengths alone, the series deserves more credit than the 8.5 score Iâve seen.
I started following this series from the very first day of filming. Once production wrapped, I endured a long wait, and when the show finally premiered I was ecstatic. The plot was packed with twistsâone reveal often felt like a setup for the nextâand I found myself completely absorbed. Waiting for each new episode was agonizing: I tried to distract myself, even attempted to wait until the whole series aired so I could binge it, but every time a new episode dropped I dropped everything and dove right back in. Future viewers are lucky to be able to binge the whole series at once; we had to live with the daily suspense, which made the ride both thrilling and frustrating.
Where the series falters is the ending. Yes, all the protagonists survive, which is a relief, but the resolution undoes too much of what made their relationships meaningful. Except for Wu Shiguang, no one remembers Lu Wuyi or Ji Ling. The two sisters become strangers because their shared history has been rewritten and they never cross paths. Lu Wuyi and Ji Ling are essentially living in a different universe, cut off from friends and loved ones. Li Jieâs haunting sense of lossâmissing Ji Ling without knowing whyâis emotionally powerful but also frustrating, because it leaves the audience without the closure the story had been building toward. Itâs a âhappy endingâ that comes at a high emotional cost.
Even so, I gave it a high score because the strengthsâacting, storytelling, and musicâoutweighed my disappointment with the finale. Fans who appreciate character-driven drama will find a lot to love here, but be prepared for an ending that may not fully satisfy.

Not as good as the original, not Beckyâs fault
okay I have opinions, some good some critical.starting with the positive, I think Becky did absolutely amazing. Kitty left really big shoes to fill, and the character was already so established.. But Becky managed to encapsulate that vacant, slightly creepy humor just right. Itâs important to note also that nano was a very different character to roles she has played previously, and very different to her usual personality.
Another positive, you can see the improvement in production quality, and each episode provided a slightly different perspective and style.
I personally thought episode 1, 4 and 6 were the best. I liked the underlying messages in these episodes and felt they were a little deeper/ darker than the other episodes.
Now for the criticisms⊠I feel this season just didnât quite hit the mark the old series left. it lacked a layer of depth which would have helped the underlying messages hit harder. It needed to be darker, more gruesome, include more taboo themes. As the viewer, the creepy atmosphere and shocking screen play were not up to par.
Overall, I enjoyed watching the series, and especially loved watching Becky as Nano. I also got excited for the guest appearance from Jane. Some of the humour also hit well. but in general, the series was not as good as the original 2 and lacked depth and darkness. This is in no way a criticism or Becky, and more likey a Hollywood style byproduct of having extra budget and a wider audience.

This series is nearly the perfect BL for those looking for an escapist, comforting drama. For many of us that is the essence of BL dramas and few BLâs seem to deliver it. They are trying hard to be something else. This series focuses on the essentials and does it with nearly perfect execution. Yet it is not too syrupy, drowning in excessive cuteness. It has its serious side exploring one of the mainâs extreme psychological torment caused by his neglectful parents. The main strength of this drama is the effortless chemistry of the two leading characters, and their perfect execution of the characters depicted in the novel. Even though the main character is sort of buffoonish, he has a more serious side. The actor TeeTee does both sides of his character exceptionally well, and is really an extraordinary actor. The script is pretty faithful and is in total sync with the characters, and their personalities. Duang is almost always clownish in a really over-the-top way, but when he needs to dial it back, heâs able be very sober, mature, and judicious. The actor who plays Duang really captures the duality of this character flawlessly. The other main, played by Por has several layers to his character that he brings out with a lot of subtlety. Even though he has a mostly deadened exterior façade, he is able to reveal glimpses of other sides of his character with a slight smile, a softening of his facial expressions, or a slight longing look. Heâs able to reveal his love for Duang with these even if he seems mostly stern or aloof. Por is able to also show his vulnerable, damaged side with some great portrayals of anguish. When heâs crying, revealing how his old nanny abused him, Por captures how Quin is not able to fully express himself because of his inhibitions, his natural inclination to never reveal weakness. This is really subtle acting on a high level.
What is also on a high level is the natural interaction between Duang and Quin which both actors pursue at a level that is possibly the best ever in any BL ever made. The characters feel totally comfortable with each other, meaning they donât have the smallest hint of what I consider the inability to convey attraction between men prevalent throughout the BL industry. Iâm not saying that other shows donât have two mains that are pulling off the male attraction thing, but there is always a remnant of that feeling of unease and discomfort. I want people to think of gay actors that can easily pull off heterosexual roles, where no one even thought those actorâs where unable to convey their physical attraction to a woman. I still think the male actors in the BL industry still struggle to a large extent with this. This show reveals the path forward â this is how itâs supposed to be done. Itâs not just the sexual attraction part, but how Duang comforts Quin when heâs crying in front of him. Its how they hold each other, and look into each otherâs eyes with such affection. Heâs acting like his partner in every way that it is possible to be a partner. This is acting which is fully committed to the role. Again, thatâs whatâs missing in most BLâs, and why this show is exceptional. Even the secondary couple has this. Itâs something to do with the overall direction of the show.
There are several other aspects of the series which are exceptional. The script is really well done, avoiding a lot of the miscommunications which plague BLâs. It also avoids a lot of the tropes like ghosting, toxic girlfriends, and screeching ladyboys. Conflicts are handled in a matter of minutes rather than lasting for several episodes. This is critical, in my opinion, for BLâs to progress. Using the crutch of misunderstandings to create fake drama is an example of weak writing which is commonplace throughout BLâs. These are confident scriptwriters that allow their characters to communicate effectively. If we donât have effective communication then our main characters are always portrayed as being a little pathological, cruel to their partner, indifferent, or just plain stupid. What does that say about gay people? Iâm sure they donât intend it, but this would be the natural takeaway for people after seeing hundreds of examples of this in various BLâs.
The script is also paced so well that there is never a dull moment despite the fact that there are hardly any dramatic events in the drama. Other than Quinâs confrontation with his parents which lasted a couple of minutes, there is no serious conflict in this series. What keeps the series going are just everyday conversations that somehow still capture our interest while moving the story along. There are no dead spaces. What is conveyed is a subtle psychological portrait of the characters and the dynamics of their relationships. With strong writing this is enough to keep our interest. Two characters with totally different personalities and how they interact is what is keeping our attention, and it really is enough. You can get into how Duang slowly melts Quinâs icy façade over several episodes, and how their trust in each other grows from episode to episode. How Duang is so loving and authentic is real entertainment, somehow, and how Quin can slowly evolve to reveal more of his emotions â his love for Duang, and his anguish over his past abuse is what captivates us. How could this possibly be enough? Itâs done all the time in various other dramas, and art house productions. Itâs definitely doable in a BL. In fact, BLâs are the perfect place to do this because they donât rely as heavily on conflicts as virtually every other genre â just think of horror, action dramas, science fiction, etc. It just requires strong writing to accomplish this.
Every character plays their part well around the central characters. The friends of Duang and Quin, are perfect in their roles. They are also able to communicate effectively and this lends them a greater sense of credibility (again missing in most BLâs). The whole sense is of organic relationships that people can get behind and get interested in. In addition, there is a good sense of integration of all the characters into a cohesive whole. Just look how Mavis and Jamieâs relationship helps the overall show. Jamie and Mavis talk about Duang and Quin in their segments and their comments flesh out their relationship as well as developing Jamieâs characterâs relationship with Duang. This is world-building that enhances the drama, giving it a sense of palpability which is essential to our participation and immersion in the series. The rest of Duang and Quinâs friends are also incorporated in a totally inclusive and integral way. They show some natural conflict between each other, but they resolve it like normal people, rather than treating every disagreement like some world-ending event. The friends also understand Duang and Quin better than they do themselves, most of the time, and provide a lot of good commentary â done in a pretty comical and entertaining way. Duangâs family is also perfect in how they help in understanding Duangâs personality traits. They are the total embodiment of how Duang became the way he is, and provide the perfect backstory, and backdrop, which is, again, great world-building. Quinâs parents also serve this role and provide the essential guidebook to Quinâs character.
I think itâs all about the details, and keeping things realistic. This is aided by the fact that the characters are not at all one-sided, and that they are relatable. Duang is not just an adorable golden-retriever, but can be depressed when the situation merits that kind of reaction, or he can dampen his goofiness when heâs in bed with Quin. Quin bullies Duang, but itâs just light bullying, and only to draw a few boundaries between Duang and himself. Duang likes to goad Quin by acting extra silly but itâs only to get his attention, not because heâs a totally supercilious character. These are people that are relatable, without any strong pathologies. Itâs what draws us to them, and makes us fully involved with their characters.
Overall, this is one of the best BLâs ever made, in my opinion. It is bound to become a classic. Itâs really strong in every area, including the cinematography and the music score. I love the OST, and most of the songs theyâve had throughout the series which accentuate the mood of many scenes. The lighting is also skillfully applied during the romantic episodes.
This is probably Domundiâs best series, and I hope they continue their winning streak.
We definitely could use an alternative to GMMTV. The only drawback for this series is the quick redemption arc for the parents. Those guys should never have been given a pass for years of neglect, and their attitude when Quinn was confronting them was totally unacceptable. Those two need years of therapy, and perhaps Quinâs confronting them would be the doorway for them to become cognizant of their pretty serious psychological issues. My suggestion is give us a Season Two where Quin can confront them again, and we can have some better resolution to this. As it is, this is still one of the best BLâs ever made, and I really hope we get a Season Two â they would be crazy not to make one. Even if itâs just out of greed to make money off the success of this series, Iâd be happy if Domundi did it. At least give Teetee and Por another series in the near future. They definitely deserve it.
