Must watch!
Really what a splendid drama. I really did not know i missed this gem till yet. If you like to watch thriller, mistery then its a must watch for you. The acting of ML being an idiot is a total comedy. I was laughing at it. Kang ha neul cemo in the ending episode is also unexpected but still an amazing ones. For female lead it was good to cast a famous one but still no worries her acting is osm too. The child actor nailed her role from emotional scene to annoying one perfect for her role.Was this review helpful to you?
A feast for eyes
This drama is filled with beautiful people, sceneries and breath taking visual shots.The leads are already famous with their beauty and handsomeness but the bonus points which made this drama viral is even supporting actors who only had two or three scenes in the whole dramas are also handsome that they can be the lead actors themselves. That’s how this drama is packed with beautiful actors and actresses.
The cinematography is god tier level. All scenes (mainly the leads) can be made into a photo book or photo cards. It’s so amazing. I haven’t watch any drama which filled with beautiful visual scenes like this. All scenes are Wow. Kudos to the styling and makeup team because they did amazing job of beautifying actors and actresses.
But maybe because the director is too focused on visuals mainly, the plot felt flat from the middle to end. Because there’s no that highly anticipated climax scenes. No shocking plot twists much. The actors also couldn’t express their characters’ depths enough to audiences. ML couldn’t show his war skills and his coldness. FL couldn’t show her character development fully. Because drama is filled with their love scenes. That’s a little disappointing.
But the bonus point for novel fans is the script doesn’t change anything since the beginning to end. They even include extra chapters which is alternate version/universe at the end of the drama.
So if you are into visuals and do not mind about the plot much, you would love this.

A Good Watch and an Emotional Rollercoaster
I was a bit reluctant to start this one but finally decided to give it a chance today and was hooked. Binged the first four episodes and looking forward to the next episodes.I won’t say much about the story to avoid spoilers but one minute I’m laughing, the next, I’m bawling my eyes out. And what does that tell you? It is, for sure, a good story. Emotional plot line and I love the concept too.
Ah, also the little romance blooming on the side is really cute to see, so yeah, there’s that too.
Overall, it’s a good show so far, and if just like me you’re also contemplating watching it, you should. I believe you won’t regret it.
I hope the quality stays consistent until the end of the show.
EDIT - it got boring at episode 12 or so but still a good watch

your ai slop bores me
such a good premise and good cast you had to waste using ai , what is the point of him being an animator if you're gonna end up using ai just hire an animator , i cannot believe the irony of this show being art focused but there's no art just generated slop , did they try to sit with themselves and be like "hmm you know we should probably hire an animator rather than using a machine that steals other people's efforts" like bruh i never dropped a show this fast this is a joke and i've never been this frustrated beforeWas this review helpful to you?

Probably not great—but that’s kind of the point. Finding a friend like that—the kind built on trust and loyalty, who understands you fully and chooses you consistently—is rare, but not impossible. Heung Soo and Jae Hee make it feel possible.
They’ve been through ups and downs, both literally and figuratively, yet they still choose to be each other’s confidants. Who and what they are to each other feels so powerful—it exists in that in-between space where labels don’t fully capture it.
Most love stories come with “I love yous” and “I dos,” but this one had neither—yet it’s still one of the greatest I’ve ever seen. And for the record, it’s my favorite. What Heung Soo and Jae Hee have is a kind of platonic love—a love that doesn’t need romance to be profound—and it’s something to be envied.
I know the movie wasn’t marketed as a love story, but that’s what I felt throughout—it quietly screams true love in another form. Because of that, I had to write my first review. This film made me do it, lol.

Fun to watch the romance develop
I enjoyed watching this for Austin and Yu Yin’s chemistry together. Excellent acting and character development by them. It’s short at 58 episodes for a complex storyline. Have I seen better, longer and more fleshed out versions of this story, yes. This is a production where actors, directors and cast collaborated well together to create a believable story. Soundtrack supported the tone and atmosphere of scene. Rewatch value moderate rating. It’s not a show you would seek out again but if you stumbled on it like me when searching up an actors works you would keep watching.Was this review helpful to you?
Best historical c drama in last decade
The first historical c drama I was hooked onto was Eternal Love and this is the first since then that can rival / surpass it. I love the concept of a strong female lead and the cinematography is also awesome. I’ve never considered ZLH as drool worthy till this drama. I’ve rewatched the episodes many times as the refresh is waaay too slow in my opinion.Was this review helpful to you?

Probably one of the worst and unnecessary endings i have ever seen in an Asian drama. I'll never understand the need for most TV shows/movies that relate to Japan, have to have a sad or ridiculous "up to your imagination" ending. I only suffered through the last few episodes because of me being a fan of Kang Hye-won (Friendly Rivalry was a masterpiece). The writing and direction felt like they just got lazy and gave up half way through. To say this was a let down is a massive understatement.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the better shorts
This short had a good story and was executed quite well. But the last confrontation at the table wasn't done very well. It would have been a lot better if they just made this a movie instead of a short.Unfortunatly all the fighting scenes looked fake.
It has great visuals.
Acting whole cast was ok, but not great. And the boss of the bad guys was really bad.
The acting of the mains was good and they have great chemistry. The kisses and intimate scenes are also great!

Refreshing
Don't expect any plot or logic. If you like YinWar, just go for it. Loved it. A roller-coaster ride. One time watchable.Both the leads were really good as usual. Their chemistry was the only thing that made me to finish the series. Music was good and relaxing. The emotions they show really hit me. There are some negative reviews as there are no logic or plot, but sometimes IT'S OKAY to watch these kind of movies. It purely depends on individual's taste and likes. So, I suggest to watch it if you like YinWar.

Amazing dreama must watch
The drama focuses on the experience of a college student Kohei, who is hard of hearing and his classmate Taichi. While the plot may not be ground-breaking, it somehow excels in character development. It also respectfully handled the topic of disability.The heart of this drama for me lies in the individual development of Kohei and Taichi after meeting each other.
It sensitively portrays Kohei's struggle due to hearing impairment and how this impacts his interactions with others and his sense of self. I liked how he socialized and made friends, finally coming out of his shell after meeting Taichi. It was absolutely a delight to see him smile.

MOTHING happens, but cute sometimes
NOTHING HAPPENS type of series, but worth it if you like the lads.What little that does happen does not make much sense, so you should not really pay attention to it. I could not do it, so I am not pleased with this aspect. Details are in a spoilers-tagged comment below.
The only worthy point the series is making is the problem with gay marriage legality, which was still unsolved in 2022, what has changed in Thailand in 2025.

The whole premise is utterly toxic before events even begin.
And normally, unlike most others here, I applaud series that showcase toxic behaviours because this is what does actually happen in real life, and this needs to be covered in media, if they even remotely trying to reflect some basic truths of human nature and how it expresses itself.
Viewers are supposed to have agency and judge by themselves if those behaviours are acceptable to them or not, so I am vehemently against any attempts to censor and sanitize stories.
However, the toxic premise here is fantastical as it does not ever happen in actual life at all, so it does not have the purpose of showing how reality works.
So if this makes you uncomfortable then no need to force yourself to watch it for the sake of getting some truth pill on how things go in the world of no rainbows and ponies, what is normally the benefit of other “toxic” shows.
HOWEVER, this all might be irrelevant depending on how much you love cute lads, in which case you should absolutely watch the series.
