look I’m watching it… but it’s terribly painful.
but it’s becoming unbearable. the mother is extremely selfish. I’m trying to understand her, I really am. but every time something happens she just has this selfish way of acting. sometimes they give it the arc that in the end she is just looking up for her child, but even the times that happen you question her methods.it’s also very boring without the romance parts. nor the parents nor the daughter have a romantic arc anywhere to be seen. it’s just tiring for me to see this show.
also both female leads are tiring solely messy and nosy. they have to be involved in all the neighborhoods problems. the only respectable adult there is the imu. she gets all the credit for being the only adult there even when she was a child herself.
if I have to see again how the daughter finds her mother in compromising situations (like mas$@€}+~£ation, or seducing her dad for gods sake) I’m going to puke.
I mean kudos to her for having a daughter at such young age but omg she wasn’t alone, she had support system. is like they want to set her as this super hero when she was constantly putting man after man in front of her little daughter, one time even thinking of dropping her with other people.
I just cannot respect this story arc.

Not good, but not bad either.
Kind of choppy, short episodes and the acting was subpar. Good story, bad execution. I didn't like the rape and murder in this one, the ending was very sad and I really disliked the fact that none of the rapist were caught and neither was the murdering scumbag, however I did like the love between the two main characters. It was the confusion, execution, rape and murder I didn't like; hence why I gave it the stars that I did. It wasn't bad, but not good either. The way it ended really did it for me since no one knows Loy was killed and that the village a**hole is the one who done it. So no retribution, no justice for Loy or the girl who was raped by the three guys; just a bunch of us who watched it now being stuck on what could've/should've/would've happened. This was a wasted opportunity to turn this series really into something with better actors. The low budget filming wasn't the issue; it was just a wasted opportunity to make this a better film. There's a slight chance of a rewatch; but only a small one. I wasn't a fan, but if someone else watches this and likes it, well....¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
slow start but exciting after that
The "escape room"concept at the beginning was interesting but maybe weird for some viewers -if it had gone on longer I would have abandoned because it's a bit irrelevant but the real story kicks in after about the third episodes. After that, it becomes really interesting and the plot develops really well. Final few episodes was quite excitingI don't usually like modern cdrama because of the weak plot and sometimes just too long but this one has a good story, good acting, good directing and the ost is good. Only problem with the some platforms is they turned up the music so loudly it actually deafened the conversation and the lyrics subtitles totally blocked out the dialogue subtitles (super annoying-please can someone tell them)

I just love it so much
I watched it a while back so I don't remember everything, it was really good. Captivated me for a long time, took me a while to get over it. Made me cry and want to bite the screen a lot of times which I like when something I watch makes me do.I like the fact that it was made by a queer person it explains the heavy feeling in my heart while I watch it, or it might be the energy drinks catching up to me I am not sure if this or queer movies will get me faster.

EP 6
Okay, I just want to talk about EP 6 bc of how frustrating IT WAS TO WATCH IT. First her grandpa is annoying but lowkey I see this type of old man is everywhere in real life, it's giving so many women go through this. having someone who just won't leave you alone and wants to know where you are at all times. I relate to Pam on that part. ANYWAY. WHY was she so slow to help Donovan. I hate that other lady so much but it was expected. the scene in the bathroom was soo creepy. Like why didn't Pam call the police right away. why she asking Aood for help, LIKE MOVEEE also she THINKS Donovan would play that type of prank on her?? im still in the middle of watching just had to let it out. idk why just pissed me off.Based on the other reviews I think I will just drop things. I honestly can't see this going worst than it is already. I SHIPPED THEM SO MUCH!!

Outstanding Cast
A-list Korean actors in this series save it from being another banal treatise on the excesses of the super rich. Kim Ji-won does an outstanding job as the brittle, cold, and superficial FL (Hong Hae-in) who is fabulously wealthy and--as it turns out--tough as nails. The ML, Kim Soo-hyun plays the kind, honest, handsome, athletic, intelligent Baek Hyeon-woo, who (for some reason) can’t get enough of Hae-in, who deigns to throw him a crumb now and then. In spite of the threadworn plot, the writing and acting give this drama a boost and elevate it to a higher level.
Unlike other Korean series, this one showcases some secondary characters who can actually hold the viewers’ interest.

Navigating Careers & Relationships
What I enjoyed :The Career Grit: I admired Ruoxin’s durability. She navigated messy office politics with poise and successfully pivoted her career while staying true to herself.
Strong Mentorship: Having a no-nonsense leader like Lisa made such a difference! I just wish her lead boss, Mr. Xu, had stayed a mentor instead of trying to date her. Too bad we didn’t get more scenes with Lisa at work.
The "Mom" Duo: This was actually my favorite part! I loved how the two moms became best friends. Xiao’s mom was so sweet and respectful, helping Ruoxin’s mom see life from a different, more open perspective.
The Sincere Payoff: Xiao was so earnest. While the slow-burn move from assistant to lover was a bit frustrating at times, the happy ending was worth the wait. It took a while for them to figure things out and overcome the mom barrier! He was steadfast and such a calm presence for Ruoxin.
Final Take: I personally preferred Why Women Love—it was easier for me to watch and the male lead felt a bit more mature from the start!

A healing and comforting show
I really loved this drama, it’s really healing and comforting to watch. I know some people felt the ending was rushed, but personally, I enjoyed it and thought it tied up most of the loose ends well. That said, I do wish there had been one more episode to give the story a bit more room to fully wrap up. It would have been a perfect 10 for me if not for Episode 11, I feel that the female lead should have been more logical and let him explain¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

Cute show but a bit draggy
Honestly the show started off really strong, I was really invested in their story but as the show progresses, it just gets more boring. I really love slow burn romance but I feel this is way too slow even though they wrapped up the ending really nicely and it’s really cute, I even love the second lead’s story but I feel the middle part was really unnecessary especially when they went to the village¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

This two hour movie took me four hours to watch because I had to talk to a wall about it
Definitely shouldn't watch it just because you've seen some interesting edits and like Jeff Satur because I did. Not because it's bad, but it was really heavy.Scenes and places they filmed in was so aesthetically pleasing. Cast was so good, story overall is so good. Especially the symbolizm they used, I don't think I catched all of them but one with the fleas investing Thongkham's house as a metaphor for mo and the mother taking over his house he got from working from NEGATIVES. This man really worked his ass off just for ending up like that. Also how Thongkham was going to lose everyting he had with Sek was told by how Mo took off Sek's ring to give it to mother.
*major spoilers*
---
I really loved the main character Thongkham almost to the end, until the r*pe attempt scene. I do understand the motive behind it but it was still so uneccesary, it made me really disgusted. He shouldn't have even think about it as a solution. Still I am greatful they didn't sugarcoat it. Jingna was an amazing character too his death was really sad. I was really pissed at Mo from start but after a while we see she had her reasons. Especially with how women are treated in general. She had a hard life too.
I love angst stories but sometimes I wish for queer people to have a normal life so I will stick to BL series for a while now until I feel brave enough to watch another Naruebet Kuno movie.

DO OVER OF SOMETHING IN THE RAIN...
The Netflix writers liked SOMETHING IN THE RAIN so much that they thought they’d do it all over again and give it another name. Hence – ONE SPRING NIGHT.One of the main characters in OSN has a “flaw” that has to be hidden from friends and family of his would-be girlfriend--just as in SITR.
ONE SPRING NIGHT – features some of the same actors playing characters remarkably similar to those in SITR–only with different names and, in some cases, slightly different personalities. The actress who plays one of the mothers softens that role, so she isn’t as rigid and snobbish as she was in SITR. Of the two, SOMETHING IN THE RAIN is the better drama.
This FL has a jealous, acting out ex-boyfriend, though this one isn’t quite as psychotic as the one in SITR. He’s pretty awful nonetheless.
I guess Tammy Wynette wasn’t available this time. However, there’s another equally nauseating song playing endlessly in the background.
The dialogue in SITR wasn’t scintillating. But in ONE SPRING NIGHT, it’s confusing. When translated into English subtitles, many of the conversations are incomprehensible. Hard to care when not much is happening, and what IS happening is kind of a mess.

Fantastic!
To me, this drama is carried by Fan Changyu played by Tian Xiwei. Xie Zheng/Yan Zheng acted by Zhang Linghe was good but it's all thanks to Tian Xiwei magnificent acting. Strong, soft, funny and sweet. The story line was also great and so was most of the musical accompaniment especially '一念', timed perfectly to the scenes where it adds dimension to the story. Highly emotional actually.

you reap what you sow...
this drama is a perfect example of you reap what you sow , everyone got the ending they deserve for what they have done except that masked guy.kim guy ho deserve death penalty for what he has done , he didn't deserve to be protected by the police and innocent people got injuired or killed trying to protect him till the very end he remained ruthless and a monster , I can't believe that he did that to the detectives daughter while he was supposedly on the run doesn't make sense to me .
the greedy opportunistic lawyer got what he deserved , the assassin aka Mr smile , I don't get how he is still alive after all those bullets 😅 .
this drama should have focused on the main plot line involving that lawyer and politics in this drama was unessecary , they have showed as more of the fake priests story , who was the man in the mask? i guess the fake priest but not sure' , the should have showed us how he got all that money for the bounties , where did he go after all of what happened ? and who was the client that hired Mr smile to kill the man in the mask ? alor of unanswered questions , I don't if this is getting a second or not so it is open ending it guess .
great plot with alot of potential that was somewhat poorly executed in ep 3 I really thought I was watching a different drama , not starting from where we left off in the previous episodes and showing entirely new character was a bit confusing at sometimes.

the way this could have been amazing
i remember when i first started this show i was excited. the first eps were actually good, both couples have great chemistry and the acting is good as well but unfortunately the execution of the plot wasn’t well done imo. it’s one of those shows that starts strong then suddenly takes a different direction and you start wondering why.the plot execution is really important, and after ep 7 (Tim’s revelation about the lies and deception) which was supposed to be the peak ep but it didn't, it just didn’t feel like one. they were building it up for many eps but the payoff felt weak. i get that it’s a romcom, but that doesn’t excuse bad writing. serious situations are better when treated seriously. the audience didn’t really get the right amount of angst, and real problems were treated almost like a joke.
Pai has been struggling to even stay mad, and Tim doesn’t seem properly apologetic. lines like “don’t worry i won’t charge you for the meal” or “you’re living in my place for free” just feel off after what he has done… like are we supposed to find that charming? then i check more ep and Pai isn’t as upset as he should be after being betrayed for years, and Tim doesn’t seem as sorry as he should. it's getting brushed off with playful moments instead.
i could honestly rant a lot about how this could have been better based on what Tim and Pai characters could have done. but good for people who enjoyed it. i do love the cast and hope to see them in better directed series in the future. maybe not by New
