WORST SHOW EVER

This show was the worst. I cannot believe this is even hyped up at all. It hut every cliche in the book. What is more insane is how they managed to make every character so utterly unlikeable.
The Jaemin guy made a deal despite having basically nothing to lose, and after he "got rid" of the competition he still had plenty of time to make a move. AND when the mc made a move he rejected him... so what was the point?
The other "CEO" guy. He's a maniac who left the guy he cares ab despite having a chance. Instead if confessing like a normal person, he comes back, acts abusive and then acts surprised when the ml doesn't want him... like duh?
The dumb ml. How many times does someone have to reject you before you give up? Like he called you someone elses name, left you, left yoh again, left you again when you begged, left you again when you begged... and then shows up in front of you with a hickey. Bye.
MC is the most spineless character ive ever seen. So instead of just explaining to the ml, you choose to go with the crazy guy. AND JUST EXPLAIN THE HICKEY! I mean... the guy was responsible for your sister being in the hospital and yet you're all "omg woe is me. I am so sorry things turned out this way." Stand up. He needs to go to therapy before he can get with anyone. Everyone therapy today. And yall need better taste in shows... yikes this was a forest fire if ive ever seen one.

This show was so good. the comedy and the action and the bROMANCE 😩😩😩 LOVED IT!! The chemistry between SkyNani is electric and heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. Just makeout already 😂 This series was so good and the acting was great as well! seeing them all speaking different languages as well was a testament to all their skills as actors. The Phuwin cameo was 😘🤌🏼 **chefs kiss**

karakter haixia memang tragis. menurutku lebih baik dia meninggal dan ga hidup lagi,dari pada dihidupin buat mati lagi,nah udah mati lagi pun masih ada beberapa org yg berharap buat hidup lagi.
kalo aku jadi haixia,aku bisa ngerti kenapa dia bilang dia capek di akhir. pun kalo aku gila nge bunuh banyak warga sipil juga lebih baik aku mati sendiri ditangan saudaraku,dari pada saudaraku mati ditanganku karena tubuhnya sudah sangat sulit untuk dikendalikan, apapun bisa terjadi kedepannya. kasusnya kan memang sudah beres, haixia ga bisa mati ditangan musuh. trs kalo aku hidup lagi pun aku pasti kebayang" perasaan bersalah seumur hidup gara" pembunuhan masal, meskipun tidak bisa mencegahnya tapi tetap sadar melihatnya & mereka jelas mati ditanganmu. ini adalah siksaan yg nyata seumur hidup

Wow. Absolute Masterpiece ??

Wow. I have no words. But I also have a thousand words. The acting from both Gemini and Fourth was incredible! This was a drama that would be hard for anyone to pull off with all the moments of speaking without words and showing so much raw emotion and pain. They both deserve awards, standing ovations, and the highest respect for this series. As a queer person who grew up catholic, this show really touched my heart and heals a broken part of me that my unaccepting family hasn’t healed. The way Fourth was able to portray that inner struggle and the pain he felt having felt like he had to choose between his true love and his love for God was absolute artistry. I was curious to see how Gemini and Fourth were going to be given this is a drama unlike anything they’ve ever done before. I can’t stress enough how impressed i am with their acting abilities and duality. Every episode had me in tears whether it was happy or sad, I felt so much emotion through this series. Waiting for it for 2 years was agony and it was worth it. The ending made me so happy. I was afraid after the motel scene that Tanrak was going to leave Barth but he didn’t. The subtle way they showed their story resulting in marriage was absolutely beautiful and graceful.
The literal only downside of this series was that it was only 6 episodes. I wished for more and more episodes. I didn’t want it to end. I hope this series catapults both Gemini and Fourth’s career into even more dramas that test their abilities. Seeing them develop in their career has been a privilege and I can’t wait to see what they do next.

Good really doesn't prevail in this depressing & violent action drama

when I say I completed this, I mean I saw the beginning to the end (but skimmed everything in between.)
Why ?
I watched the first episode & it was depressing. I suspected that this was going to be less action/humor so I Skimmed until the last episode, I watched that & was sad to see that my instincts were right- it was an exhausting drama. I had SO hoped for something more light hearted than Typhoon family, but this is also really really depressing in tone.
Here's what i didn't like:

1) The lead character's romantic relationship...was not romantic, them being together was just lazy on both thier parts.
Character Kang Sang Ung's girlfriend : Kim Min Suk. I particularly loathe this kind of female character. She impatiently takes the lead in her relationships, arrogantly bossing around those she says she " loves" ,(though does she EVER actually say she loves anyone ? )She makes unilateral decisions for her boyfriend as if she's his parent & he is a child. He in turn lets her for the sake of not creating an argument. That sums up their relationship. Feel any romance in that ?

2) The drama highlights & dwells on the normality of the hopelessness of achieving financial stability while living in a city ( in Korea)

3)Lots of violence & whenever good prevails, evil revives itself & the fight starts all over again

There is a "happy" ending of sorts for some characters, (yes, the main ones) BUT let's not forget that the main character will have to hand his curse down to his own child someday, so becoming a parent is not actually all that "happy" now is it ?

fun, chaotic, and completely confusing

I really enjoyed watching this drama. At first it was pretty funny and Se gye's muscles made this drama even better! However the plot wasn't plotting. I think not even the producers knew what they were doing during the last episodes... Like was it that hard to make the shaman lady or anybody else explain what was happening at least so that we could understand the whole joseon-modern world thing better?? Anyway, this drama started off really strong and I get why it's so popular on social media, because this had a lot of potential, but they decided to confuse us and leave us with many many many questions. Nevertheless, it's for sure a drama that you will neeeeeever get bored or tired of watching.

The Best Series Ever

Ticket to Heaven is honestly one of the best series I’ve watched. Every episode took me on an emotional roller coaster—making me laugh, cry, smile, and completely forget about the world for an hour. The storytelling, cinematography, soundtrack, and acting were all incredible.

Episode 5 completely shattered my heart, while Episode 6 was simply iconic. Watching their married life felt like witnessing a genuine happily ever after. It was warm, comforting, and filled with so much love that I couldn’t stop smiling.

This series made every Saturday something to look forward to. I’d avoid social media, turn off my notifications, and stay away from the internet just to experience each episode without spoilers.

Thank you, Ticket to Heaven, for giving us such a beautiful story and unforgettable characters. This wasn’t just a series—it was an emotional journey that I’ll always remember. 🤍

Be Careful What You Wish For

I’ve had this series sitting in my Netflix downloads for such a long time, but I finally finished it last week. Lol. Honestly, I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The idea of an app that can grant your wish but eventually takes your life is actually pretty interesting, and the first few episodes immediately pulled me in. It was creepy, suspenseful, and surprisingly emotional without relying too much on gore or cheap jump scares.

I also liked how the series was not only about the curse itself, but also about the jealousy, guilt, secrets, and insecurities that already existed between the characters. Some of their decisions were definitely frustrating, but they still felt understandable because they were just scared teenagers dealing with something completely beyond them. Bang-wool was easily one of my favorite characters because he brought some humor and warmth into such a dark story. The middle part became a little slower when they started investigating the history of the curse, and I wish Na-ri’s storyline had received a clearer and more satisfying conclusion.

Still, I really enjoyed watching it, and now I honestly can’t wait for a sequel. That ending clearly suggests that the curse is not over yet, so I’m really curious about what will happen next. I guess Na-ri might become the next Si-won? or maybe she will have an even bigger role in continuing the curse? Either way, I need Season 2 because they cannot just leave us with that many unanswered questions!

cute lovestory

Honestly, this is what I would watch after a super sad drama!
It's a pretty wholesome love story without any unecessary plot twists and all in all I think it represents many realistic relationships out there. The leads were pretty considerate of each other and mature, especially during the last episodes. However, this can easily get boring....
Also, the supporting characters on this drama were pretty pitiful. Because what do you mean the waitress girl was giving all her money on her gambling addicted boyfriend??? At least there was some character development but still. It's a pretty mid drama ,but for a j-drama it's one of the best I've seen and it wasn't cringey.
I would recommend it to someone that is looking for something chill to watch because there's barely any plot, otherwise don't waste your time.

Ils ne pensent qu'à ça !

Multiplier les scènes racoleuses pour multiplier les vues semble être une particularité des plateformes de streaming, et cela quel que soit le pays de production des séries. Dans ce contexte, il est souvent dommage de passer à côté de belles histoires sous prétexte qu'elles sont classées 18+. Let's Talk About Chu est clairement dans la veine de The Naked Director ou de Raise de wa Chanto Shimasu, avec son approche très directe de la sexualité, aussi bien dans sa mise en scène que dans des conversations qui tournent presque exclusivement autour du sujet. Pourtant, elle mérite qu'on lui accorde bien plus d'importance que cette tête de gondole, qui n'est finalement qu'un prétexte aux belles histoires.

Les personnages sont touchants et l'histoire de cette famille de la classe moyenne taïwanaise est vraiment prenante. En voulant mettre le sexe au centre de la vie de chacun, les scénaristes parlent finalement davantage de la famille, de la solitude, des regrets et, bien sûr, de l'amour, dans un monde hyperconnecté où tout doit avoir une valeur, y compris les relations de couple. La série n'a pas peur d'aborder des thèmes plus profonds, autour du classique « fuis-moi, je te suis », qui touche ici toutes les tranches d'âge. C'est cette universalité des thèmes qui résonne avant tout en nous, portée par d'excellents acteurs, tous parfaitement dans leur rôle.

Comme toute bonne comédie, certains traits de personnalité sont, comme il ce doit, un peu trop appuyés, en pensant à la maman extrêmement protectrice envers ses trois enfants pourtant bien trop libres dans leur vie comme dans leurs amours. Celle-ci a épousé les codes de l'épouse du siècle dernier, s'occupant de la maison et des enfants en ne laissant aucune place dans l'éducation au père qui, de toute façon, n'avait pas vraiment l'intention d'en prendre. Idem pour la génération des millennials où, malgré une vie de couple confortable, le mari n'est toujours pas prêt à devenir papa. Ai Chu, la plus jeune sœur, prône la liberté sexuelle sur les réseaux sociaux, mais ce n'est évidemment qu'un prétexte pour s'évader de sa petite vie ordinaire d'esthéticienne, rêvant de gloire et de reconnaissance à grand coup de followers.. L'histoire de son grand frère est également une grande réussite, naviguant d'homme en homme, il est en réalité à la recherche de lui même et d'un véritable amour.

Finalement comme l'ensemble des membres de cette famille, même si personne n'ose vraiment se l'avouer. Et malgré ce que martèle Chu à la fin de chaque épisode, c'est bien d'amour que parle cette série, avec tout l'humour qui caractérise les excellentes séries taïwanaises.

Pyramid Game, one of the best in its genre, but Baek Harin deserved better

Pyramid Game is honestly one of the strongest dramas in the school survival/psychological thriller category. The concept is addictive, the tension stays high throughout, and the way it shows bullying and power games inside a classroom is really intense and well done. It’s the kind of show that keeps you watching just to see how far things can go.

But for me, the most interesting part was definitely Baek Harin. She’s such a complex and intriguing character, and every scene with her feels important. The actress did a great job making her unpredictable and layered, not just a simple “villain” type character.

That’s why her ending in the drama felt a bit disappointing. She honestly deserved better writing and a more impactful conclusion. Compared to the webtoon, where her story is handled in a more satisfying way, the drama version feels incomplete. At least in the webtoon, her ending gives her character more weight and closure, which fits her better.

Overall though, Pyramid Game is still one of the best in its category. Just wish Baek Harin had the ending she really deserved.

Me conquistou desde o início. <3

Gostei de todos os personagens, principais e secundários, porque cada um tinha sua própria história para contar. As três irmãs foram maravilhosas, cada uma representando uma fase da vida de forma única. Gostei de todos os casais, porém gostaria de ter visto um pouco mais da irmã com o secretário, mas isso foi apenas um detalhe.
O casal principal teve um desenvolvimento lindo, com uma trajetória de cura e reencontro emocionante. Sem contar a declaração final, que foi linda demais!

Abordou temas importantes, como recomeços, traumas, família, segundas chances e apoio, mostrando como cada um, no seu tempo e à sua maneira, se ajudou a atravessar cada estação, desde o inverno difícil até a primavera feliz. 🌸

Com uma história profunda, bem desenvolvida e um final fechadinho, com certeza entrou para a lista dos favoritos do ano.
