A atuação dele é simplesmente sensacional!

Addictive Dark Romance Driven By A Brilliant Male Lead!

Lighter & Princess (2022) is a spectacular, high-budget, and intensely gripping modern drama that sets a whole new standard for the toxic-to-healing romance genre. It is a thrilling, emotional rollercoaster that keeps you completely hooked from college years to corporate revenge.Story (10/10):The narrative is incredibly sharp, mature, and deeply engaging, blending the competitive world of computer programming with heavy emotional angst and betrayal. It traces the complex transition from university rivalries into a dark, high-stakes battle for corporate justice. What makes this story a true masterpiece is the raw, intense focus on devotion and survival. The pacing is perfect, taking the audience through massive time skips and emotional peaks that will leave you completely breathless.Acting & Cast (10/10):Chen Feiyu delivered an absolute masterclass, career-defining performance. He completely steals the entire show as Li Xun—embodying a cold, arrogant, and fiercely brilliant mastermind whose iconic blond hair and ruthless, protective aura will completely steal your heart. While the Female Lead's submissive, overly devoted nature can be quite polarizing and highly irritating to sit through for some viewers, the sheer power of Chen Feiyu’s performance and the electric, burning hot chemistry between the leads make the entire journey fully worth it.Overall:Lighter & Princess is a mandatory 10/10 watch for anyone who appreciates deeply flawed, protective alpha leads and an intense, passionate romance that defies all odds. Driven by an unforgettable performance from Chen Feiyu and outstanding writing, it is a flawless comfort-angst show with massive rewatch value. Highly recommended!

Super Cringe and Childish but Completely Addictive!

When I Fly Towards You (2023) is a wildly popular, high-budget youth drama that delivers a pure, nostalgic, and incredibly heartwarming slice-of-life experience. It stands out as the ultimate comfort show, even if it embraces heavy doses of high school clichés.Story (9.5/10):The plot is a very gentle, slow-burning coming-of-age story that follows a tight-knit group of high school friends journeying together into university life. It completely avoids toxic misunderstandings, heavy angst, or annoying love triangles. Instead, it focuses entirely on youth, mutual academic support, and healthy relationship growth. While the narrative is undeniably childish and filled with cringe-worthy moments in the early episodes, the pure warmth and the unshakeable loyalty of the squad make the overall experience incredibly delightful and cozy.Acting & Cast (10/10):Zhou Yiran and Zhang Miaoyi delivered fantastic performances with a highly natural, adorable on-screen chemistry. Zhang Miaoyi is great as Su Zaizai, and even though her overly cheerful, loud, and submissive stalking behavior can be quite polarizing and annoying at first, her character's unconditional devotion is what drives the emotional growth of the show. Zhou Yiran is absolute perfection as the quiet, deeply insecure Zhang Lurang. The way he slowly learns to love himself and smiles because of her energy will completely melt your heart.Overall:When I Fly Towards You is a mandatory watch for anyone looking for a stress-free, sweet, and comforting school romance built on mutual growth. Driven by an endearing main duo and amazing squad goals, it is a flawless 10/10 comfort ride with massive rewatch value. Highly recommended!

Angsty, Heartbreaking and Beautiful Childhood Friends BL!

In Your Heart (2022) is a short, independent Chinese BL drama that delivers a massive emotional punch despite its limited runtime. It stands out as a hidden gem in the genre, perfectly capturing the painful, angsty transition from lifelong friends to lovers.Story (9.5/10):The plot is deeply emotional and centered around two childhood friends who have grown up side by side. What makes this story so heartbreakingly compelling is the raw exploration of unrequited love and fear of acceptance. The narrative builds up a heavy, melancholic atmosphere as one lead desperately harbors a deep affection, while the other constantly rejects and pushes him away due to internal confusion and social pressure. While the constant misunderstandings and emotional distance can be deeply saddening to watch, the raw angst keeps you completely hooked and crying through every episode.Acting & Cast (10/10):The main leads delivered highly vulnerable and genuine performances with an elite on-screen chemistry. The portrayal of heartbreak, longing, and the devastating pain of being rejected by your favorite person felt incredibly real. The contrast between Cheng Yi’s unconditional devotion and Ling Zi Ming’s defensive, painful pushing-away creates a highly intense emotional dynamic. Their quiet interactions, hurt glances, and slow-burning tension are the absolute soul of the drama.Overall:In Your Heart is a mandatory watch for every enthusiast of heavy angst and deeply emotional character bonds. Driven by great acting and a beautifully sad storyline that eventually leads to deep healing, it is a flawless 10/10 comfort-sad show with great rewatch value. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and satisfying

It looked good and the dubbing improved after the first few episodes. I personally enjoyed the story and the plotting (although many people online say otherwise). The plotting is easy enough to follow but does get a bit contrived towards the end. Ending was a little satisfactory, I guess. I would've liked more romance.
Acting was honestly very very good. The main leads and the 2 'villains' were absolutely stunning in their acting skill.
Music was a little distracting at times but otherwise good.
Production (with the exception of the dubbing in the first few episodes which got a bit... questionable) was very high. The costumes were absolutely GORGEOUS and pretty accurate of the time period. The sets were pretty good.
I thought the chemistry between the leads was incredible! I loved watching their cooperation and how they supported each other. This was my first drama with the male lead but I'll keep an eye out for more of his dramas from now on.

A Heartbreaking and Raw Masterpiece of Pure Devotion!

Better Days (2019) is a phenomenal, raw, and deeply devastating cinematic masterpiece that grips your soul from the very first minute. It is an incredibly powerful exploration of school bullying, societal pressure, and the desperate cry for survival.Story (10/10):The narrative is exceptionally well-written, gritty, and brutally realistic. It follows a heavily bullied high school student preparing for the gaokao exams and a young street thug who becomes her protector. The plot doesn't sugarcoat anything—it showcases the terrifying dark side of human nature and peer cruelty. What makes this film a supreme masterpiece, however, is the profound emotional weight of its romance. It is a slow-burn story about two lonely souls finding a safe haven in each other, leading to a level of unconditional sacrifice and devotion that will completely tear your heart apart. The pacing is intense and flawless.Acting & Cast (10/10):Zhou Dongyu and Jackson Yee delivered absolute masterclass, historical-level performances. Their on-screen chemistry is legendary and intensely electric. Zhou Dongyu is breathtaking, bringing raw vulnerability and immense quiet strength to Chen Nian. Jackson Yee is absolute perfection as Xiao Bei, embodying a rough, morally grey street boy who turns into the most fiercely protective, devoted male lead you will ever see. His willingness to sacrifice everything, defy the law, and bear any pain just to protect her future is so profoundly moving it will make you cry a river.Overall:Better Days is a mandatory 10/10 watch that leaves a permanent mark on your heart. Driven by elite performances, a brilliant script, and a tragic yet intensely beautiful love story built on ultimate protection, it is an unforgettable masterpiece. Absolute perfection!

Pure Perfection and Heartwarming Chemistry: A 10/10!

Hidden Love (2023) is a spectacular, high-budget modern romance drama that has completely taken the world by storm. It is a beautiful, gentle, and emotionally gripping coming-of-age story that delivers pure dopamine and massive rewatch value.Story (10/10):The plot is an absolute masterpiece of the slow-burn genre. It follows a young girl who develops a secret crush on her older brother's close friend, and traces their relationship as they grow up and reconnect years later. The narrative is refreshingly healthy, avoiding toxic tropes, evil second leads, or forced family dramas. Instead, it focuses entirely on mutual respect, deep care, and a natural transition from friendship to a deeply passionate, warm love story that leaves your heart completely full.Acting & Cast (10/10):Zhao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan delivered phenomenal, career-defining performances with electric on-screen chemistry. While fans of more ruthless or 'bad boy' male leads might find the main hero to be a bit too sweet and overly gentle, his fierce protectiveness and devotion are still undeniable. The absolute star of the show is Zhao Lusi. She brings immense depth, innocence, and vulnerability to Sang Zhi. Her emotional acting—especially during the scenes where she suffers from heartbreak—is so raw and genuine that it easily moves you to tears.Overall:Hidden Love is a mandatory watch for anyone who appreciates exceptional character growth, a healthy relationship, and a romance that will completely steal your heart. Driven by an elite performance from Zhao Lusi and top-tier production, it is a flawless comfort show that you will want to rewatch over and over again. Highly recommended!

A Gorgeously Aesthetic and Emotional Second-Chance Romance!

Road Home (2023) is a breathtakingly beautiful, atmospheric, and cozy romance drama that masterfully captures the essence of first loves reuniting after years apart. It is a visual and emotional healing journey with massive comfort value.Story (9.5/10):The narrative is a very realistic, gentle, and slow-burn exploration of a second-chance romance between an investment director and a special police officer. What makes this story so beautiful is the maturity of their love—there are no toxic misunderstandings or loud breakups. Instead, it relies on shared memories and unconditional support. While the pacing can feel incredibly slow at times, and the lack of direct communication about their past can be slightly frustrating, the overall cozy and warm atmosphere makes it a wonderful experience.Acting & Cast (10/10):Jing Boran and Tan Songyun delivered exceptional performances with a deeply natural, heartwarming on-screen chemistry. Tan Songyun is fantastic, bringing her signature warmth and emotional depth to the role. Jing Boran is perfect as the silent, intensely protective, and stoic military lead. Even though his character's extreme quietness and brooding nature can test your patience, his fierce devotion and the way he looks at the heroine will completely melt your heart.Music & Production (10/10):The production value is pure art. The cinematography is stunning, especially the breathtaking snowstorms and winter landscapes in the early episodes that create a magical atmosphere. The soundtrack is incredibly beautiful, cozy, and melancholic, perfectly matching the nostalgic and healing tone of the series.Overall:Road Home is a mandatory 10/10 watch for anyone who appreciates high-aesthetic production, a protective green-flag male lead, and a beautiful, slow-burning romance. Highly recommended!

Legendary Bromance and Heartbreaking Devotion!

Guardian (2018) is a timeless cultural phenomenon in the bromance genre. Despite facing heavy censorship and a low production budget, it stands tall as an absolute masterpiece driven entirely by unparalleled acting and electric character dynamics.Story (9.5/10):Based on the popular novel by Priest, the plot blends urban fantasy, sci-fi, and dark mystery-solving as a special investigation team tackles supernatural cases. While the sci-fi adaptation elements can feel a bit campy due to budget constraints, the overarching narrative about a thousand-year-old promise and forbidden protection is deeply engaging. It keeps you hooked through intense pacing, building up to an emotionally devastating and tragic climax that will leave you crying a river.Acting & Cast (10/10):Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu delivered absolute career-defining, legendary performances. Their on-screen chemistry is the absolute soul of the drama and completely unmatched. Bai Yu is fantastic as the rogue, hot-headed, yet brilliant leader Zhao Yunlan. Zhu Yilong is pure perfection as the sophisticated, mysterious Professor Shen Wei. The unspoken trust, the intense, longing glances, and their willingness to defy death for one another feel incredibly raw and profound. They managed to bypass censorship using pure talent, making their brotherhood unforgettable.Overall:Guardian is a mandatory 10/10 watch for every enthusiast of deep, emotional bonds and top-tier character dynamics. It is a heartbreaking rollercoaster that will break your heart, but its legendary main duo makes it a story you will want to cherish forever. Highly recommended!

The Last Immortal (2023) is a gorgeous, high-budget fantasy epic that delivers everything a true xianxia enthusiast could ever ask for. It is a deeply moving story about growth, destiny, and a love that can withstand any tribulation.Story (9.5/10):The narrative is highly engaging, following the son of a true god and a water beast on a dangerous quest to collect the scattered soul pieces of a legendary Phoenix. The plot is filled with grand mythological world-building, magical tournaments, and intense realm politics. While the constant schemes from jealous side characters trying to tear the main couple apart can be incredibly frustrating to sit through, it only makes the ultimate loyalty and emotional sacrifices between the leads much more impactful. The emotional payoff is beautiful.Acting & Cast (10/10):Zhao Lusi and Wang Anyu delivered exceptional performances with a wonderful, burning chemistry. Zhao Lusi is magnificent, showcasing a brilliant character evolution from a cute, mischievous creature into a fierce, highly intelligent, and powerful female lead who stands proud against her enemies. Wang Anyu is perfect as the devoted, protective male lead who is willing to defy heaven and earth for the woman he loves. Their mutual trust and emotional scenes are the absolute beating heart of the show.Overall:The Last Immortal is a mandatory 10/10 watch for anyone who appreciates high-stakes fantasy romance, grand magic visuals, and a love story driven by pure devotion. Love Between Fairy and Devil (2022) is a spectacular, high-budget xianxia epic that completely redefined the standards for modern fantasy dramaland. It is a stunning, high-energy ride filled with gods, demons, and forbidden love.Story (10/10):The narrative is incredibly engaging, focusing on the ultimate Supreme Leader of the Moon Tribe who accidentally gets his soul and emotions bound to a low-ranking celestial fairy. The pacing is intense, and the grand world-building keeps you hooked through every political conspiracy and high-stakes battle between the realms. It delivers a perfect mix of dark fantasy and profound loyalty.Acting & Cast (9.5/10):Dylan Wang delivered a career-defining, absolute masterclass performance. He completely steals the show as Dongfang Qingcang—embodying a cold, ruthless, and dangerous alpha male lead whose protective nature and burning devotion will completely steal your heart. Could've been perfect

All the actors in this were outstanding, but Ji Changwook, Jihyun and Dong-ha really stole the show! I can't elaborate on this without spoiling it for you, so you'll just have to see for yourself. A few characters that deserve a special mention are Byun Young-hee, Bang and Park Youngsoon, who were the sweetest!
My favourite thing about this was the plot twist, it really made the drama worth rewatching infinite times - as long as I skip the cringey parts, such as when they keep replaying couple moments (even watching many of them once was cringe-worthy, let alone watching them several times). Beyond cringey, replaying those moments was boring and a waste of time.
I also wish the writers had made Bok-ja consistent - it makes no sense that they made her so nice and at the same time made her have a superiority complex.

[Warning: Spoilers ahead!]
Speaking of inconsistent characters, what were the writers thinking when they were writing Eunhyuk, Yoojung and Jihae?! Just because Eunhyuk and Yoojung didn't get physical, it doesn't mean it wasn't cheating - it would've made a lot more sense if Eunhyuk had told Yoojung the truth and had started something with her if she had broken up with Jiwook, and same thing for Yoojung: she should've broken up with Jiwook and then started something with Eunhyuk; the writers shouldn't have made her say some of the nasty things she said, either. As for Jihae, she was an awful character for so long, and all of a sudden she was nice?! Seriously, have the writers heard of consistency?!
Also, I couldn't stand the fact that there was no reason for the main couple to be apart, but they just had to make the female lead act stupid.
[End of spoilers]

On another note, if you've never watched anything with Choi Taejoon, I highly recommend watching this before 'Missing 9' so that you have this image of him in mind - I wish I had done that, but unfortunately, I always think of him in that drama; don't get me wrong, he played that role perfectly, but that's the problem, because he played a psychopath, and his eyes looked extremely scary most of the time, haha.
Thank you to everyone involved in this project!
Don't miss out on this drama, the story really stays with you!
Bonus points for being perfect in length at 20 episodes and duration at 1H.
