Ta Pian Yao (2025), aka Love, Lies, and Second Chances (2025), is a nice second chance at love miniseries with ML: Yang Han/Alf Yang (as Pei He Xiao) and FL: Yang Luo Qian (as Lin Shen Shen) in the leading couple's role. Most of the cast did a good job bringing their characters to life, and the leading couple, even when their kisses could've been better, had great rapport and intense sensual chemistry. The story from two years from the time that the drama starts frames the attitudes, fears, and longing of the present time as it unravels, thread by thread, to give the audience a wider view into the main and some influential supporting characters, and little by little, each piece of the puzzle falls into place. Overall, this drama is quite entertaining; enjoy it!FULL Version: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYoLMKNNB10) or (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GktaOL5N0_0)
PS: The down side to the drama is that the translation was done with English names that are quite annoying.

Mature Romance, Zero Toxicity, and a First Kiss Scene That Actually Delivers
I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. Like, significantly more. Here We Meet Again is a hidden gem of a workplace romance that stars Wu Qian as Xiang Yuan and Vin Zhang as Xu Yan Shi. The drama follows a young businesswoman who reunites with her high school crush while trying to save her family's struggling company branch away from the headquarters. It's a smart romance blended with a career-focused storyline—corporate challenges, rekindled feelings, and all.
The Lead Couple
The lead couple is mature, and that alone already puts this drama a cut above most workplace romances. Their internal and external conflicts are understandable — nothing is manufactured for the sake of cheap drama. They have great chemistry, and the character development is evident not just through the script but through the acting itself. Especially Xiang Yuan's character, who genuinely evolves throughout the show.
Now, I'm going to be honest — I don't think Wu Qian is particularly female lead material. At least for romantic dramas. That said, she did really well with this role. I do, however, have some conflicting feelings about her styling team because they did her dirty in the first part of the drama. Those hairstyles had her looking like a mouse. I think the team really could have done much better early on. Thankfully, her look changes throughout the show, and her true personality shines through.
I'm also glad she wasn't written like your typical workplace romance, opposites-attract female lead, who is bubbly, childish and clueless. Xiang Yuan is assertive, acts according to her personality, and stays very consistent as a character. That's refreshing.
Xu Yan Shi is probably one of the best male leads I've come across in an office romance C-drama. He's written really well, and he doesn't do anything that's out of character for him — unlike a lot of male leads in this genre where they're supposedly nerdy but then randomly have some bizarre, uncharacteristic hobby like boxing or car racing that only comes up when they need to safe the girl.
Everything about Xu Yan Shi is consistent with who he is and what he’s been through. All his feelings and doubts are relevant. The writers didn't make him a jerk at the beginning just to show his character growth. He is very non-toxic, which shouldn't be as noteworthy as it is, but he’s just very wholesome and goregeous to look at in general.
The Romance
The romance developed organically, and while it did take some time for them to get there, I appreciated that. I especially liked that we didn't get any of that weird nonsense where the leads — the female lead in particular — suddenly become all shy and awkward once the intimacy kicks in. This drama also has one of the best first kiss scenes. Don’t confuse it with that work balcony accidental peck. That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about the real kiss in her apartment they both worked for. All that pent-up tension comes out exactly when it needs to come out, and they are not shy about it. I overall really liked the way intimacy was portrayed here. It felt earned and natural. If you want some skinship that feels natural, this is the right drama. It delivers. It doesn’t maybe get on the level of some other dramas, but it does really well with giving us a very generous amount of intimate scenes which conveys trust between the characters.
Supporting Cast & Atmosphere
The supporting cast is great and adds a nice flavor to the general workplace romance atmosphere. The banter is funny and relevant. All the scenes with the grandpa are genuinely wonderful — he's a highlight. The humor lands well, the workplace setting is interesting as a backdrop, and all the important revelations throughout the story hit effectively at the right moments. Nothing feels wasted in that department.
My One Complaint: Pacing
If there's one drawback to this drama, it's that it does get boring in certain episodes. Some scenes and characters just don't need as much screen time as they're given, and a few of the minor storylines (hello second couple) could have easily been trimmed or removed altogether to give more room to the romance and conflict between our lead couple. I think somewhere around the middle there's a slow stretch, but if you fast forward through some of the scenes, you're not going to miss much. This is genuinely my only complaint. Otherwise, it would have been a 10 out of 10.
Final Verdict
Here We Meet Again is a great comfort drama for those who enjoy workplace romance and want maturity between the leads. All the conflicts and misunderstandings they have — and they don't really have a lot — make complete sense because of who these characters are as people and what they’ve been through. I can't fault them for feeling the way they feel, and that's the sign of well-written leads. The romance overall is very strong here and their relationship is very believable.
Plus, the dramahas a really great ending, so you're going to feel very satisfied, happy, and fuzzy on the inside once you finish it.
And since I watched it in 2026 (I go back and watch older stuff too—no shame in that) I would dare say that Here We Meet Again is a much better workplace romance drama than Shine on Me or even Only for Love, both plot-wise, character-wise, and romance-wise. Acting from main leads here is better as well, they feel very true to their characters and are very natural.
P.S. Here We Meet Again has a very nice soundtrack too.

Best Slice-of-life BL of 2026
I can't even begin to explain how dear this show is to me. I'm still thinking about it daily after finishing it last week. The plot is simple, but execution is excellent.
What I absolutely love about DWY is how intentional they are with every detail, such as music and styling choices.
For example, as they move in together and share wardrobes, Duang is gradually seen with darker and tight-fitting clothes that are chosen by Qin). Additionally, each OST plays a part in the storytelling & they're actually GOOD songs! (+ of course have to mention the cute sound effects throughout the series).
The best part is surely the chemistry between the actors. Teetee and Por are so natural as Duang and Qin that they totally made their characters come to life, it was hard for me to say goodbye after the Final EP. They made me realize how casual touches & displays of affection have been missing in most BLs. It was so natural and genuine in this show!
Teetee did amazing as a character many might find "childish" or over-the-top. That is however what I find most endearing about Duang, as he maintains his whimsy while still being mature in serious situations & helping Qin through every obstacle.
Por did a great job as well, since it might've been difficult to portray Qin's character without talking or physically expressing his feelings as much. Loved the confrontation with his parents in EP 11, well done and makes me cry every time without fail. Though I do think Por's emotional scenes could be a bit more realistic but it was still fine.
As most of the cast is new, I would say they did a good job and have time to improve in the future!
I have one critique about JamieMarvis storyline, as it wasn't properly developed. It's understandable as they are side characters, but some things could have been easily improved, e.g. how we don't even know why they randomly speak English at times – I only found out from novel readers that Marvis is Thai-Korean, so this wouldn't be clear to series viewers who don't read it. They also tend to avoid intimate/kiss scenes for new couples but in this case I believe it would have fit the plot. Kind of unnatural how they started off being casual without us really seeing anything between them?
All in all, DWY will stay in my mind for a while and I am dreading the waiting time for another PTTP show.
Props to the whole cast and crew. If DMD keeps this up, they will definitely be on the forefront of Thai BL production.

US The Series
US The Series is a soft and emotional GL that focuses on the complicated love between Pam and Dokrak. The story may feel simple at times, but the chemistry between the leads carries everything. It’s sweet, a bit heartbreaking, and overall very comforting to watch from start to finish. I mean, it’s a gentle romance with a bit of tension, making it an easy and comforting watch overall. Was this review helpful to you?
A story that feels grounded
What I like most about this series is how real the interactions feel. The conversations between Arisa and Lalin don’t sound overly scripted, which makes their dynamic more believable. Even when nothing major is happening, the scenes still hold your attention because of how the characters react to each other. There’s also a nice balance between what is said and what is left unsaid, and that adds more depth to the story as it goes on.Was this review helpful to you?
A mix of good and bad
Okay, so I have thoughts. This series definitely have a mix of good and bad things.I'm gonna admit and say that I wasn't the biggest fan of it in the beginning. The pacing was pretty slow and the ghost story felt a bit random, but it was actual a great set up for the romance.
In the middle (EP 4-7), it was the sweetest, cutest thing I've ever seen, and I rarely see two character's feelings in that good of a way.
Now, in the very end there's an event that is so random with no follow up that I'm questioning why it's there. It genuinly just feels like something for drama and for the characters to be able to say "I love you".
I also want to mention the emotional scenes that was definitely this series lowest point. I felt absolutely nothing, and I think the reason is because there was no real build up and I which we could've seen even more of the juicy character conflict that they had such a good base for.
Also, justice for Dao's power, cause we had it in the 4 first episodes, and then we just never saw it again? It could have been used to show character development in such a great way, but they just didn't.
I do wanna praise the charactarization for Dao and especially Arthit. Even though we didn't get to see that much of their conflict, I still really liked them and they felt complex and layered.
In the end I gave it a pretty high rating just BECAUSE the middle is just *chief's kiss
It's up to you to decide whether it's worth a watch, but unless you're not too hang up on the emotional scenes, it's a pretty good series.

So much lost potential, I actually feel SICK
Unbalanced chemistry, monotonous plot, and flat humor. It's even more awful since it was set up so perfectly. The chemistry queen, Hye Yoon in a supernatural rom-com with the charismatic Lomon as an arrogant soccer star who's supposed to fall first and harder. Tell me why that we did not get an ounce of any of that, but WORSE.The fatal flaw lies in the chemistry, which is that there is none..nada...zilch. Lomon looked hot (don't get me wrong), but he lacked the typical yearning eyes that is the cornerstone of every great Kdrama. The moment when you can literally see the ML fall for the FL. There was no passion or love. He was just there to act as a prop to the FL. It was like he was forced to care about her. It felt like a slap-stick comedy rather than the intense supernatural romance I was promised.
I honestly feel so robbed because I was so excited. It was my most anticipated show of 2026. How can this drama go so left? Not only was the chemistry imbalanced, the plot is just boring. Don't even get me started on the ending where she decided to stay immortal and be with him until he died of old age. Like what was the whole point of the drama then? How did she grow? I frankly need to sue for waste of time. Those hours spent watching I could've spent doing something better like watching paint dry.

Realistic drama, different than typical fairytale Korean dramas
It stands apart from traditional K-dramas, which often rely on "fairytale" tropes (e.g., the cold, wealthy CEO who changes for the kind, poor girl). Instead, Nevertheless operates as a psychological case study on why we consciously choose people we know will hurt us.Here is why it is regarded as a masterpiece from this specific perspective:
1. It Validates the "Knowledge vs. Action" Gap
Most dramas portray characters as oblivious to their partner's toxic traits. Nevertheless does the opposite: the protagonist, Na-bi, knows exactly what Jae-eon is. She hears the rumors, she sees the evidence, and she recognizes the pattern. The drama forces the viewer to watch her walk into the fire anyway. This is a masterclass in portraying the painful human reality that intellectually knowing something is "bad" for you does not stop you from feeling a desperate emotional need for it.
2. The "Physical Magnetism" as a Catalyst
The drama leans heavily into the power of raw, physical, and emotional chemistry—what you might call the "halo effect." Because Jae-eon (the "bad boy") is portrayed as exceptionally charming, attentive, and physically magnetic, the show forces viewers to empathize with Na-bi’s dilemma. It isn't just "she’s naive"; it’s "he is providing an intoxicating dopamine hit that she is currently addicted to." By keeping the chemistry intense, the show highlights how physical attraction can override rational warning signs.
3. Deconstructing the "Fixer" and the "Familiar"
The show explores the "why" behind the attraction without being overly clinical.
The Thrill of the Chase: It captures the anxiety and excitement that comes from unpredictability. When a partner is emotionally unavailable, every small scrap of attention they do give feels like a massive victory, reinforcing the addiction.
The Illusion of Specialness: The show perfectly illustrates how people like Jae-eon use intermittent reinforcement (giving and withholding affection) to make the partner feel like they are the "exception" to the bad boy's rule, even when they aren't.
4. It Defies Traditional "Redemption"
Most dramas demand a "happy ending" where the bad boy transforms into a perfect partner. Nevertheless is polarizing because it chooses a more nuanced, often frustrating, and realistic path. It doesn't promise that the "red flag" will suddenly become a "green flag" just because of love. It argues that the real journey isn't about changing the other person, but about the lead character finally facing her own agency, choices, and the consequences of her desires.
5. It Shifts the "Female Gaze"
The show is often noted for being told through the "female gaze"—it focuses on the internal world, the obsession, the overthinking, and the quiet, agonizing moments of waiting for a text or a sign of affection. By centering these feelings rather than just plot twists, it makes the viewer feel the weight of the "red flag" dynamic, making it feel less like a story and more like a shared experience

Akira is struggling
I see a lot of bad revieuws. With season 1 a lot of revieuws complaint about the age difference, in season 2 you see that Akira is still struggling a lot with that age difference and people still complain...Age difference is a problem for me, when the older one specificaly preys on young people, so only wants to date a lot younger people. But that's not the case here.
I thought it was nice to see that he still was struggling with it, 11 years is a lot! But Akira is childish and Shin mature, so for me that solves a lot of the problem. Plus here we see that Akira is the one that has a lot of problems with it. Though he loves Shin with his whole heart, het tries so hard to restrain himself to go more intimate with him.
I liked that we got to see more of the second couple.
The acting was great and both couples had good chemistry.
Visuals were great and the music good.

Soulless series
The series starts with strong tension and a promising setup, especially in the early episodes, where the chemistry between the leads and the “almost romance” moments create genuine interest. There are also a few entertaining elements, like indirect comedy and the setup of a potential side couple, which hint at a more engaging story beneath the surface. However, as the series progresses, it quickly loses direction. The story becomes increasingly driven by forced misunderstandings, inconsistent character decisions, and plotlines that are either rushed or left unresolved. Instead of building meaningful emotional depth, the show often relies on surface-level drama and repetitive conflicts.
One of the biggest issues is the lack of believable character logic. Actions and reactions rarely feel natural, and important elements—especially the handling of non-consensual situations—are either ignored or brushed aside, which undermines the entire relationship dynamic. At the same time, antagonists remain one-dimensional and fail to create real tension or impact.
Despite introducing interesting ideas, such as the twin twist or multiple relationship dynamics, the series never fully commits to them. Plotlines appear and disappear without proper development, making the story feel fragmented and unfocused. Even emotional moments that should have had weight end up feeling hollow, as if something essential is missing.
In the end, the series feels like it lacks a clear vision or emotional core. It presents the structure of a dramatic story, but without the depth or sincerity needed to make it work. What could have been an engaging and emotionally driven narrative instead turns into something that feels strangely empty. In the end, it feels like a series without a soul, driven by careless and poorly thought-out decisions.

I need answers… and maybe a refund for my emotions
The series had strong potential, especially in Part 1, where the emotional build-up felt sincere and promising. However, as it progresses, the characters — especially Yoonsu — become inconsistent and hard to understand. His development feels disconnected from what was initially portrayed.Overall, what could’ve been a soft but intense romance with depth ends up feeling a bit messy and, honestly, disappointing. Still worth watching if you’re curious, but don’t expect everything to make sense.

Pluto is everything
Pluto is my favorite Girls' Love series, in many ways. I always wanted to read and watch a romance involving twin sisters, and Pluto delivers exactly that, plus there's the complexity of the sisters' love interest being blind and initially confusing them and start dating the "wrong" one.I confess that I also made the mistake of reading the novel; it's not that bad, but the series made everything a thousand times better and improved problematics points from the novel.
Not to mention that Namtan and Film's acting was perfect! I love them and how excellent actresses they are...which makes everything better!
I loved watching every episode. I have a soft spot for episode three too, in which they have a sincere conversation about family, how they feel being an outsider, where May, Film's character, says, "You know, apart from being blind, I wish I could be deaf too, just to shut myself off from everything." It really gets to me.
An emotional and sincere scene.
Another scene that isn't talked about as much is the episode where Ai-oon talks to her friend Ben about loving May. I cried like a child here Emotional and sad. An then there is episode eleven...
Anyway, there are many scenes, and the last episodes are impossible not to cry over.
And despite that, it's also a comforting series. I've watched it more than once and I feel like I always want to watch it again whenever I have time.

A Slow burn but worth it....
I wasn't sure how I felt about this in the beginning, but I liked how the FL,decided to stand up for herself, and divorced her cheating husband. even though she knew how hard things were going to be, after 10 years of only catering to him, and never getting any thanks.........she realized she wasted her youth on someone who didn't deserve it, and starts over again, from a low beginning. She then goes on to prove herself worthy to herself. The back story, etc.....is good and the acting ability is excellent. Different from the tired trope of women being rescued by an ML. Also, she is not a young ingenue. Miyu rescues hersef. Was this review helpful to you?
BEST SERIES I’VE EVER WATCHED IN MY LIFE
This series has EVERYTHING! 💗On the surface, it may seem like a cute campus romance but it is so much more than that. Duang with you is the perfect mix of romance and deep topics that make the characters relationship so much more meaningful and entertaining to watch. No sudden conflicts, that came out of nowhere, no nonsensical fights, just pure love and understanding. The amount of detail that this series has is INSANE. Every rewatch you can find something new you haven’t seen or realised before. Every episode comes out with something interesting that keeps you wanting to watch it again and again (exactly what I did while waiting for the next episodes to come out). Also this series is SO FUNNY. Duang’s friend group always has me giggling, while also being very reliable and supportive of Duang, helping him win Qin over and giving him advice.
Don’t get me started on the songs from this series. They have 10 original songs (INSANE) and all of them are BANGERS.
Duang is literally my favorite character EVER, I can’t stress this enough. He may seem happy all the time, but you can see when he’s hurting and when he overthinks (TEETEE SUCH A GOOD ACTOR).
Qin’s character development is INSANE!! In the beginning you may think he’s being cold towards Duang, but if you pay attention you can notice that that’s not the case.
Every scene in this series is meaningful and remarkable, with deep topics that really make you attached to the characters.
The acting is just INCREDIBLE!!!!! You can notice small but VERY meaningful details in the actors face expressions if you pay attention.
The chemistry between the actors is CRAZY!!! Teeteepor really outdid themselves!!! From being a bluetooth couple to THIS?!??
The ending is INCREDIBLE and the series feels wrapped up perfectly.
There are no scenes that leave a bad feeling, like it tends to happen in these bls, since the characters are extremely well written and literally made for each other.
Also this has got to be the BEST novel adaptation I’ve ever seen. There are so many scenes that appear from the novel that have been done accurately, but also some new scenes that really compliment the story.
I’m not even exaggerating, Duang with you has changed my life. I’ve been watching this series ongoing from the first episode until now and these have been the best 2 months of my life. Never in my life have I been so excited for a show to come out with a new episode.
I truly recommend this incredible cinematic experience to everybody!!!! You’re REALLY missing out!!!💗
