Best Historical Drama for me!❣

It was so beautiful! I can't say anything because I can only admire each episode of this drama ˗ˏˋ ♡ ˎˊ˗

In this part, the story is heavier than before. Family, romance, the country are all in trouble but that's where the fun is! Ling Buyi, who fell in love with Cheng Shaoshang and tried to convince her that his love was true, become the one who destroyed Cheng Shaoshang's trust.

I can see and understand from both sides, Ling Buyi with his revenge and Cheng Shaoshang with her trauma in the past that don't want to leave behind by her loved ones. Cheng Shaoshang has tried her best to trust and be open with her future husband, but Ling Buyi has hidden many secrets behind Shaoshang.

The frustrating misunderstandings but also the intimacy that this couple creates really makes the audience get carried away. The ending was very beautiful (even though marriage was discussed from the start but there was no wedding at the end lol) it still made the audience happy. Congratulations to Director Fei, Zhao Lusi, Wulei, and the entire love like the galaxy team for creating truly masterpiece drama!─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──

I need a season 2 right now

Wow I genuinely really enjoy this show! I started watching it after seeing Lee Dong wook was in the cast and every show I’ve seen him in never disappoints- and this show wasn’t an exception!

The story was super entertaining and kept me hooked till the very end and got me emotionally attached to character even if they were only on screen for only a few minutes (Honda).

It has been a hot minute sense a show had me ugly crying as much as this one did. The story is so heartbreaking but that’s what makes it so entertaining.

If you are debating watching this show please do! The cast were amazing (10/10 acting), the story was amazing- ugh a lot about this show is amazing just trust me and check it out if you haven’t yet!

Masterpiece drama!♥︎

I watched it when this drama was on-going and for the first time I bought the fast track because I couldn't wait to see the ending!!

Ling Buyi, an orphan boy because his parent died during the war since he was a child, lived in misery but was lucky to be adopted by the emperor and empress so he became a general at a young age. His character is very hard, cold, and doesn't think about other people, but then changes when he meets a beautiful teenage girl, Cheng Shaoshang.

Cheng Shaoshang, a smart girl whose parents left for war and only lives with her evil grandmother and aunt so she has to find a way to survive every day. Her behavior was very rude, messy, and unethical because she had never been taught since childhood.

This drama is divided into 2 parts and this part does not show too many problems, it reveals more about the family life of Cheng Shaoshang, Ling Buyi and also the second leads, Yuan Shanjian and Lou Yao.

This drama is really very good, the cinematography is beautiful, their chemistry are extraordinary, and there are lots of life lessons to be learned.

I have rewatched this drama countless times, it has become one of my favorite costume dramas. Congratulations to Director Fei, Zhao Lusi, Wulei, and the entire love like the galaxy team for creating truly masterpiece drama!─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──

Gasp !

How on earth am I supposed to stake a virtual "STAY CLEAR" sign to this drama in 500 words ? This platform insists on at least 500 words before I can submit a review. This is one of the dumbest storylines i have ever come across. I feel so stupid persevering when I wanted to stop watching after episode 2 - face in palm. I should not have trusted Rakuten Viki's reviews. It is neither sensible nor rational .... the plot ! One's lifespan is finite so don't waste time watching this painful crap. Unfortunately I cannot give a "0" rating as it auto defaults to "1" :\ The only thing worth mentioning and appreciating is the beautiful theme song :)

One of the best Korean dramas I've seen in a long time!

The best thing about part 2 is that the pace is much faster than in part 1 which makes total sense in a way because there had to be a character buildup. In this second part there is no time to breathe, you have so many things happening that I cannot actually write about since I would spoil the drama so I'm going to leave it at that. But I will say one more thing, the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous!

The acting is excellent and of course, Nam Goong Min nailed it. Proof that he won the Daesang award. The acting overall was so good, great job to all the cast!

Beautiful OST, especially the song sang by Kai.

It's totally worth to watch this, the ending was one of the most beautiful endings ever!

I LOVE THIS DRAMAꨄ︎

I really like revenge genre dramas, and this drama really suits me! Han Yi Joo, an innocent and cute woman who lives with distrust because the people around her always hurt and lie to her, has the intention of revenge to improve her life after being given the opportunity to go back to 1 year ago.

I really like the role of women who are smart and brave, I can find that in Han Yi Joo, even though she is emotionally and mentally unstable, she is not reckless and thinks about all her plans well.

Seo do guk, talking about this man feels like a dream! very handsome, smart, calm and loyal like where can I find a man like this??:"((

I like Seo Do Guk's family, especially his grandmother and mother (not his half-brother), even though the family is a conglomerate but they are not evil and side with Han Yi Joo

Han yoo ra, I hate her but sometimes feel sorry for her, she is also a victim of Lee Jung Hye, her biological mother:( her character cannot change because she has been educated like that since childhood. Lee Jung Hye, just hearing her name makes me annoyed, she really succeeded in bringing her character to a villain.

The chemistry of Seo do guk and Han Yi Joo is very impressive, the story plot is very fast but easy to understand so you don't waste the time, this drama is packaged very well. It's quite emotionally draining to watch this drama, so I'll just rewatch the sweet parts only─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──

A nostalgic drama. Brings a lot of emotions❤️

I’m happy Yangzi took this script. A letter to the 90’s born.
Watching this was nostalgic. Life doesn’t always go the way we envisioned. Their friendship was so cute. It made me remember my childhood❤️. I laughed and cried with them??. Jiangyi ( the greenest flag) Yingzi the sweetest girl who will ride and die with you.
They all turned 30 and matured buh Yingzi remained at age 18?. Everyone moved on buh she didn’t. The F6 were there for each other. Fought each others fight. The bond between them was precious.
Loved every part of it
All the actors/actresses were brilliant and spectacular.

My first Xianxia drama and it didn't disappointed! -`♡´-

At first I watched this drama because of Zhao Lusi but it turns out I fell in love with F4's especially the main leads, Wang Anyu and Zhao Lusi's chemistry! Gu Jin and A Yin are very adorable, their relationship started from master-servant to falling in love with each other is really sweet and pure. Their characters development are clearly illustrated, from the beginning when they just lived to play around, experiencing many difficulties until finally turning into powerful true god Yuan Qi and phoenix queen Feng Yin.

I also really like the second lead! Yan Shuang and Hong Yi, come from two different worlds, from hating each other to becoming mutual love, so sweet! This is the second time Li Yunrui has played a drama with Zhao Lusi, I hope their friendship lasts well๋࣭⭑⚝

Hua Shu and his father are really annoying, the ending is also a bit annoying. Hope it's not only to look at each other but this is a xianxia drama, the ending can't be too happy:( Overall I like this drama and will rewatch it many times♡︎

This story is very cute

The start and ending was cute but the middle of the story was a little boring, its a good show for a quick binge at school. It wasnt as bad as people said and it was honeslty better than i tough. The vibe was great and the characters were cute but the story was a little boring and weird. But i loved the promise rings at the end

I do recommend it for a quick binge or if you have nothing to watch. I personaly likeed it and it was cuteee. I still dont know why it is called star struck tho but it was a cute and simple name

Why what his drama split in two?

I reviewed the first half of the drama, and it was for the entirety of the drama. So, here, I'll give the Cliff's Notes version of my thoughts.

My recommendation would be watch it and decide for yourself, since everyone seems to have loved this drama. My rating is based on my feelings and does not reflect the actual quality of the drama.

Excellent cast. If you've been watching Korean dramas for any period of time, these faces will be familiar to you. I would have liked for some of the stories to have been more in depth, to develop the characters a little better. This drama was a Who's Who in drama land.

The concept was interesting. Some people had a problem that it seemed to be an anti-suicide PSA, but to me it was more about how choices we make affect others.

My biggest problem with this drama was the overabundance of violence. Many of the characters were not well developed, because of the number of bodies that he inhabited in eight short episodes.

But again, I will say, this is all just my personal opinion. Watch it, you'll probably like it.

Not for me

I'll say up front that you should give this show a try yourself and come to your own conclusions.

This was a really hard one for me to rate. My rating is based on the way this drama made me feel. I found myself unable to separate my feelings from the overall intent of the show, thus the low rating. As I feel I have to say so people don't attack me, this is just my personal feeling/opinion. This rating serves the purpose to remind myself what I liked and didn't like about the drama.

Story: Very interesting concept. I thought the way the story was woven together, with people's lives intertwined, was well done. As you go further into the story, we find Yi Jae inhabiting bodies of people that he's encountered before. We also see that his downward spiral was the result of his first encounter with someone's death. This drama embodied the concept of "every action has an equal and opposite reaction". I thought the story became more meaningful when it was personal, concerning his girlfriend and his mother. I just couldn't get past all the evil/darkness/bullying/violence. I probably would have enjoyed it more if time was taken to develop some of the characters more, to see why they became the way they did.

Acting: Can we just talk about the cast? I'll admit, that's what drew me to this drama. Each person was excellent in their own right, but the standouts for me were:
1)Kim Mi Kyung as Yi Jae's mother. I love this actress in everything she is in. Here, she embodied someone carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders after her son's death. Her slightly stooped posture, her slow, mincing gait, and her facial expressions (or lack thereof) showed us that she was walking through the world by herself, after losing the person most important to her. I felt her despair. Watching her face, her flat affect, a lone tear running down her cheek, it seemed that it was all she could do to just keep living.
2)Seo In Guk as Yi Jae. I'll admit that he's one of my favorite actors. Here, he hit all the emotions (even if there were only brief moments of happiness shown in flashbacks). Anger, fear, frustration. Watching him moving from hopeful to hopeless, wow.
3) Kim Ji Hoon as Park Tae Woo. Sociopath? Psychopath? His portrayal of an evil man masked as a successful businessman just gave me all kind of creepy vibes.

This was filmed in a very dark way. I understand that it was part of the whole experience, but some scenes were so dark, that if you watch it in a well-lit room, you won't be able to see what's going on. So, watch it in the dark.

Unexpected TRAP

First I fall for the bosses and part timers. I mean I'm a Im Joo Hwan fan and he doesn't have many big shows all the time, so this was perfect. But later you get a warm feeling with the regular costumers and their interaction. And just like that you get to season 3, craving they have a season 4 in South America ????
This season had a very special spice, as many costumers were Japanese or descendant. When you know that there is always a bit of a friction between these two nations, interaction like this, makes you forget about past conflicts and has a spark of hope that, us new generation, can change much hate among nations.

Very disappointing

The script seemed promising, but it offers nothing, apart from the performance of a few young idols.

PLOT: 2 FL, arrive, with the same name but a different personality and past. They decide to exchange their profiles. How will they integrate?

PROS:
+ debut of young idols on screen :)
+ Good OSTs
CONS:
- zero story: we get lost in childishness, lies and hypocrisy. And it lasts for 22 episodes (15 minutes, fortunately :)
- The FL is maddeningly naive!!
- Acting skills to improve for everyone
- no chemistry within the CL (together in the finale, only).

=> Lots of skipping... Series that won't help these idols make their debut :(
************************************************************************

PROS:
+ débuts de jeune idoles à l'écran
+ Excellentes OST (idol's drama :)
CONS:

Interesting characters and well-written story.

A serial murder case has been happening around the people acquainted to the employees of a local supermarket, intriguing these employees to secretly start investigating the case. They tried looking for clues among the various items purchased by their customers. As more suspects appear, their spectrum of suspicion widens, messing the teamwork among themselves.

"The Killer's Shopping List" is unique and well-written, it's only 8 episodes. It was amazing since the first episode. It was funny and bright, yet it was smart. From the opening scene, it sets up the story and the characters so well. Starring Lee Kwang Soo as Ahn Dae Sung, an intelligent employee of MS mart, owned by his mother Jung Myung Sook (Jin Hee Kyung).

I am not a big fan of murder mystery, but this drama was enjoyable. Comedy and crime sounds like a weird mix of genres, and there were a lot of seriousness, triggering topics around the cases (child abuse and trauma), but somehow they were able to bring comedy through the characters. They're also not one-dimensional characters, they have their own personality. As the plot reveals what they're individually dealing with, it makes them feel more human. I was grateful and relieved with how they handled a trans character. What I didn't like is few other characters that felt a nuisance because their behaviour and choices were annoying. As far as investigation goes, they didn't lose the momentum although by the end the culprit was quite obvious. The ending was satisfying, a surprisingly good watch!

Comedy that has geographical lines

This is a comedy that nobody outside china can appreciate.

As such, the movie can become a completely waste of time to a laughing good time (depending on your sense of comedy again).

This is basically a low budget comedy that nobody outside china can appreciate due to the context of the jokes, as it's often a spoof or parody on events that has happened. And since comedy itself is subjective and everyone has a different funny bone, even people in china do not find this movie funny.

To be honest, just skip this movie unless you are dying for some wuxia, but even then there are much better movies to watch if you're okay with older movies.
