The best series I have ever watched
The moment i started watching it, it immediately got me. The opening scene is one of the best i have ever seen, the story is just great. I found it hard to understand whats going on at firat because it was so confusing. But in my opinion that was what made it even better. The acting is so so soo good but that was to be expected. The OST is THE BEST i have every heared in a series. Even nlwhen i finished it im still listening to it. The actors in the series and the song really bring out the emotions. Im currently rewatching it. So i hink the series is SO underrated because its my personal favorite.Was this review helpful to you?

From a webtoon to a kdrama !
This drama is adapted from the webtoon of the same name 'Spirit Fingers' ! I have read the webtoon before watching it ;)I feel some parts were cut that is why the story was rushed and felt incomplete... we could not understand the story to the fullest ! Like U Dol's bullying... was it because it was too shocking ? the mom's being way too harsh on her daughter...
Also in the original story Gi Jeong had a third friend... I don't understand why they cut him out - and many more...
Overall I loved the acting the OSTs... it was so beautiful :D the story is inspiring ~ on the webtoon we had spin-oofs and we learned more about the other characters ;) it is a ver comforting drama ! I wished I had a Sprit Finger group I could go to every weekends and spend an amazing time with great friends <333

Not My Usual Genre, but I Couldn’t Stop Watching
Series or movies about bullying are usually not my cup of tea because they often feel repetitive, frustrating, and emotionally exhausting. I honestly expected Teach You a Lesson to be another drama filled with cruel students, powerless teachers, and the same revenge storyline we have already seen many times. However, this series completely proved me wrong. It immediately caught my attention, and I ended up enjoying it much more than I expected. Every episode introduces a different problem within the education system, so the story never feels like it is simply repeating the same bullying case over and over again.What I appreciated the most is that the series does not portray students as the only source of the problem. Sometimes the students are the aggressors, but in other cases, they are the ones being manipulated, exploited, or pressured by adults. The drama also shows how teachers can become victims of abusive parents, corrupt school administrators, and systems that are too afraid to take action. Some of the punishments may be extreme and morally questionable, but I cannot lie, they are also incredibly satisfying to watch! The show gives viewers the kind of justice and catharsis that we rarely see in real life, especially when people in authority choose to protect themselves instead of protecting teachers and students.
The cast also made the series much more entertaining. Kim Mu-yeol is perfect as Na Hwa-jin because he has such a strong and intimidating presence without needing to give dramatic motivational speeches all the time. I also really enjoyed Jin Ki-joo’s character because she is strong, fearless, and still has an emotional side that makes her feel like a real person rather than just another cool female action character. Overall, Teach You a Lesson is bold, intense, surprisingly emotional, and extremely addictive. I started this series expecting to dislike it, but somehow I ended up finishing all ten episodes and wanting more. Definitely do not judge this drama only by its bullying-related premise, because it is much smarter and more entertaining than it initially appears!

i love the cast.. the emotion, the tension between each other character, the character development, the soundtrack, never been better than this:)) love youu jimmysea love you last twilight.This isn't just an ordinary series, nor is it a boring school drama.I absolutely love the chemistry between the two leads. Anyone reading this review shouldn't think twice about watching it; the series is packed with stars, and not a single cast member disappoints.

Great story with a few plotholes
After 2 years I have finally managed to watch this drama! It’s been hyped a lot and I understand it. The story is very captivating, their romance is bittersweet and swoony. The soundtrack is among the best I have seen in a K-Drama so far. And obviously, the cast is stellar! Especially Byeon Woo-Seok is out of this world!!!! His yearning gaze full of love, longing and sadness got me in my feels while watching this drama too.The cinematography and color editing of this drama was so beautiful! Especially when it was set in the past! It reminded me a lot of 25 21, especially at the beginning of the drama.
There were quite a lot of funny, laugh-out-loud moments as well! Melon Musk absolutely KILLED me 😂😂😂 Can never get over this phrase 😂😂😂
Now to some things that bothered me and kept me from rating this drama a 10/10:
1. What was with the serial killer thing??? It made no sense whatsoever! Also his background was not explained at all. Why was he after Sol? Just a coincidence?? It all felt so random to me that I couldn’t quite get excited about the kidnapping scenes…
2. When Sungjae is being stabbed by the killer and falls off the cliff and dies, the drama spins to the future / current time and somehow it seemed like she said that “it has been years since Sun-Jae had died but I was still trying ti live a normal life” or sth like that. It seemed to me that Sunjae had died but in reality she went back in time one last time and changed the past in a way that they had never met so he wouldn’t die for her… I found that a bit confusing and I think they could have done a better job explaining it…
3. The second couple aka her brother and bestie was sooooo annoying and useless! Did we really need all those annoying scenes?? 😖😖😖 I cringef everytime I had to watch them. Or just any scene her brother was in! He was SO annoying!!!! I wished Hyeon-ju had gotten together with Bae In-hyeok instead 😅😅😅
In general I liked the drama but I think it could have been shorter without the serial killer plotline and the secondary couple scenes…

Today’s two episodes(9 &10) were beautifully executed from start to finish. Every emotional beat landed perfectly, the heartbreaking scenes had me in tears, while the lighter moments came at just the right time and genuinely made me laugh. The balance between sadness, warmth, and humor felt so natural, making the story even more engaging. Every scene flowed seamlessly, keeping me completely invested in the characters and their journey. And just when I thought I could finally relax, that ending completely caught me off guard! The suspense was incredible and left me desperate to know what happens next. One of those dramas that gets better and better the more you watch it.
I had so much fun watching this drama. The first few episodes had me laughing so much. The comedy actually worked, the chemistry was great, and I got hooked pretty quickly. ⭐I won't lie though, there was a point in the middle where I was like... okay, can we move the story forward now? Some episodes felt really slow, but once the pace picked up again, I couldn't stop watching. The last few episodes were honestly the best part of the drama.
One thing I really loved was that almost every important character had actual character development.
The Emperor surprised me the most. At first, I thought he was just another cruel emperor, but the more I watched, the more I felt he wasn't completely heartless. Yes, he made terrible decisions and was manipulated a lot, but I also felt like deep down he still wanted Nan Heng to become someone better. I don't know if everyone will agree with me, but that's how I saw his character.🤷
Now... Chu Guihong. 😭 Oh my God, this man tested my patience every single episode. I understood why he was angry after learning the truth about his fate, but instead of making better choices, he kept choosing the worst possible option every single time. His character development literally went backwards.
The Eighteenth Prince, though? What a surprise. At the beginning, I was convinced he was secretly planning something. I kept waiting for him to betray everyone, and I was so wrong. He ended up becoming one of my favorite characters.
And Song Yiting... THIS is the kind of female lead I want in historical dramas. Smart, capable, and never sitting around waiting for someone else to save her. I seriously need more female characters like her. even though she's just fl sister.
The romance was also really cute. I loved watching the leads together, and their relationship never felt forced.
yes I would say that fl started acting very badly when he started approaching her, like this felt too long, for me it was kind of boring but it was acceptable cuz she was kinda scared.
Overall, I had such a good time with this drama. Yes, the middle drags a little, but if you stick with it, it's honestly worth it. The ending episodes were amazing, and I finished the drama feeling really satisfied. Definitely one of my favorite watches this year. ⭐

Nothing Fake About This Story!
I just loved this saga and the journey between two of the most endearing protagonists I have seen for a long time in a BL. Both men are intensely camera friendly and uninhibited in feeling comfortable in all areas about making us feel as if they were a genuine couple. An astonishing first for a Japanese BL. I did not feel as if they were filming them as much as we were merely observing them. A big difference. What I hated was the title of this series. It is just awful and wish they had come up with something more reflective of the true nature of this series. Just as I was ready to give up on Japanese BLs being able to forthrightly show real signs of affection, these two unhesitatingly and with passion and commitment went where others would not go. Their affection, especially their kissing, was so sincere and honest, it almost became a sensuous display. No hesitations. No external or internal cringes. No closed lips. No camera angles from a million miles away. Just full-blown passion. And wholeheartedly so. How refreshing. They showed no signs of being uncomfortable or ashamed or embarrassed to hide how they felt with each other. I loved their complete connection to one another. Game of Thrones you can watch with your parents. Without dragons. And if they can handle subtitles. And if they don't mind worms. Great character study, set design, history, world building, political intrigue. It had everything that was missing from Season 8. And I'm sure the only reason there were no dragons was because Netflix is too selfish to give them a budget for that, considering it's been years and we're still yet to get season 3. Decent Story
well, i watched the trailer and kinda liked it, so started watching, the story is good hooked me to finish all episode at once. all the actors did a good job potraying the characters. i have not watched any other actors yet but Hirose Suzu (Hold My Hand at Twilight) i liked her character in that drama and in this as well.in the end, i dont want to say it but i want to. i think she has somehow become the HV.

Get Ready for some Mindfvck
I cant believe how much yapping this season 2 has, when I can barely stand the preach on season 1. Omg that lengthy talk about leadership, sticking out with friends whatever is so repetitive that I finally used the FF button. ML was so obsessed about getting the answer whether they could leave the game if they finished all the games, when he’s been asking the wrong people with wrong questions. Why ask the citizen player whether they could return to the real world when the citizen’s real world is the borderland? Duh, I fastforwarded so much at season 2 cuz they keep yapping useless things like lamenting their past lives or their regrets or meaning of life. It’s amazing how they would yap yap yap when the time on the game was usually only 15-10-5 minutes left. Those preaching is also much cringe-worthy that i failed to see them as profound at all.Episode 8 felt like the writer is trying to dumb me down with multiple “jokes” told by Queen of Hearts. The ending made everything seem even more senseless. Is this just another cheap trick to bait people for S3 cuz they never really explain why the heck was everyone having the same borderland experience? This season’s ending seem like yet another of the fantasies that the players are experiencing, it’s a hard sell. I feel like I am being tricked, but since the only reason why I struggled to finish both seasons was to find out who the real mastermind is, I guess I’ll have to endure a little bit more of s3.
There’s a lot of more blood getting spilled in this season, I guess with the weak script they had to do something to keep the audience on edge. More blood, more gory deaths, more gunshots. But no worries, as long as your favourite characters are within the top 5, no matter how many gunshots or slashes or burns they suffer, they would simply survive. The amount of resurrection they did on Aguni and Niragi are so many that I lost track of the numbers. The writer really dumbed the audience down with this one.
I am quite frustrated that I havent found my answer even after enduring 2 seasons. Now i had to watch s3. Duh.

Devo dire carino, forse il primo GL della GMMTV che ho apprezzato al 100% (e non mi aveva dato vibes un po' mah tipo a metà come è successo con alcuni altri). Jan e JingJin mi sono sembrate molto valide e sono contenta che la GMMTV si stia finalmente approcciando anche a serie non ambientate fra università e superiori e ho avuto delle belle vibes, sia dalla coppia che dalla trama. Mi è piaciuta la parte in cui si parla di quello che Wine ha passato sul posto di lavoro e sul trauma che ha passato, e mi è piaciuto sopratutto il fatto che non si sia risolto tutto una volta indagato il tipo, ma si spieghi del fatto che l'azienda prenda le precuazioni e sopratutto, che anche la capa si prende le sue responsabilità nel non aver creduto a quello che dicevano Lal e Wine. Mi piace molto e mi sembra corretto, nel senso che molto spesso ora si vedono serie dove ci sono traumi importanti per i personaggi e tutto sembra risolversi a tarallucci e fichi. Insomma sono contenta di vedere finalmente qualcosa di diverso. Sono anche molto contenta che finalmento Kapook e Ciize si siano laureate all'università delle coppie fisse e sono finalmente riuscite a finire una serie insieme. Insomma, molto carina. Poi mi sono veramente piaciute Lal e Wine, mi davano proprio la sensazione di sofficità e profumo, non so spiegarmi. 1Japan Does It Again: A Weird, Naughty, Steamy Butt BL That Somehow Actually Works!
Sometimes a short series can be far more entertaining than a typical 45-minute drama, and Are the Sexy Buttocks Not Good? proves exactly that. At just 13 minutes episodes, it wastes no time pulling you into its hilarious, romantic, and unexpectedly steamy story.Ainosuke only wanted to experience one very specific fantasy 🍑, but he definitely wasn't expecting it to come with a CEO. After a chance encounter turns into a passionate night, he discovers at his job interview that his future boss is the same man. 😂
One detail I really appreciated is how well the casting reflects the story. Sho Sakai is 25 in real life, while Kimisawa Yuki is 41, creating a 16-year age difference that closely matches the characters' relationship. It makes the age-gap dynamic feel much more believable. Kimisawa Yuki is incredibly handsome as the tall, muscular, mature businessman, while Sho Sakai perfectly captures Ainosuke's youthful charm and innocence.
I know the 16+ year age gap can put some people off, but Hideaki is a mature adult, and he is so lovely and caring towards Ainosuke. If he were a creep or treated Ainosuke badly, then I could understand the concern, but their relationship is the complete opposite. For me, age really doesn’t matter when the relationship is healthy and respectful. Sometimes opposites attract, and I actually think the age gap is what makes this series so unique for me. If they were the same age, it would just feel like another standard BL, but the age gap adds something different and makes their relationship even more interesting and addictive to watch
And their chemistry was instant. They meet on the train, cross paths again at a café, and things escalate quickly. The intimate scenes were passionate, realistic, and filled with convincing kisses that made their attraction feel natural rather than forced.
The biggest laugh came the next morning when Ainosuke rushed to his job interview, only to discover that the man he had just spent the night with was not only his future boss but also the company's president.
Overall, this was a fantastic series. The acting is solid, the chemistry is excellent, and the blend of workplace romance, comedy, and steamy moments makes it incredibly entertaining.
Also this series is so funny and naughty. I'm obsessed. But waiting 168 hours for a 13 minute episode should actually be illegal. 😂
Japan always manages to surprise me with their weird and unconventional BL stories, and I'm completely here for it. I can't wait to see how this heartfelt CEO-and-university-student romance develops.
