i love this

I really love this show. The explanation of love, very like their love. The aroma of love is over, it's really a very good play.I
I like some of the shots and the director's ingenuity, such as every intimate time, the clock in the camera has different degrees of occlusion, suggesting the progress of his disappearance.I really like this film, I hope you can watch it, the love is really very beautiful and delicate.I love the protagonists, I really hope you will like it,It's worth watching.thank Yo

Esperei tanto tempo...

Para começar temos o enredo arrastado que não saí do lugar;
Outro ponto é que criaram vilões ótimos e não souberam introduzir direito na história;
Esse casal aleatório tirado do fundo do poço também me deixou frustrada, senti que só queriam colocar algo a mais na história e jogaram os dois de qualquer jeito. Não consegui shippar, pulava as cenas todas, parecia tortura;

Not so much a review...

Just a nice fluffy sort of series that I didn't have to think about too much, though I have to admit, I found Sky so annoying. I much preferred the side couples. Kudos to everyone who had steamy scenes though - they all did well. If I was scoring it solely on the intimate scenes, it would definitely have scored way higher. The actors all went above and beyond for this series, but given the storyline, it kind of feels wasted.
So obviously Tod and Cheque are being set up as a long-term couple, with so many series ahead. And I guess the twins suddenly showing up is setting the scene for their series. Of course we know them from 2Moons3, but they look different from those characters... still can't believe they're 30... Whilst Western men supposedly get more 'distinguished' as they age, Asian men just seem to get younger! (You can keep you're Western men!) Am I really bad for hoping that Day and twins might have gotten together? - I haven't finished ep.10 yet, so there's still hope! - I've been awake for 18 hours and my BL brain is working overtime! 55555 Speaking of Day, I see he isn't listed in the cast details. Does anyone
know who he is?
Had to edit this. Just watched their definitely not suitable for kids, work, those of a weak constitution, parents if you're watching the series together scenes... and I've noticed that Tod always gets really red and seems to break into hives when things get a bit intimate - wonder what he's allergic to? I have to say that I don't like that face Tod keeps pulling when he's not being very gentle. It's totally creepy.

Short, Light, and Sweet

Subjective Gut Rating: 8.25
*don't think there are major spoilers, but just in case*

What a sweet and somewhat innocent teen drama! Why somewhat, because the first scenes showed us a different side of Amane that you don’t see for the rest of the drama. “Kimi to Nara Koi wo Shite Mito mo” aka “If It’s With You” tells the story of Amane’s growing affection for his classmate, Ryuji, after moving to Enoshima. Amane was careful in protecting his heart because of a traumatic event when he told someone of his feelings. But he can’t help but fall in love with the caring and kind Ryuji.

The seaside setting brings a different charm to this short drama, which is shorter than a movie, at about 1.5 hours long. I’m glad to see it speaks to the challenges of a teenager in coming out of the closet to his friends, and how making a joke about it has become his default defense mechanism.

On another note, this drama also reminded me a little of the popular “Kieta Hatsukoi”. We also have another lead who is unsure of his feelings after being confessed to, and needed time to process before responding. We often don't see this side of a love confession and it’s lovely to see male leads from both dramas really take the confession seriously, and give a lot of careful consideration. On the flip side, is it also selfish of Ryuji to want to keep this an one-sided love until he figures things out? How long does Amane need to wait?

Both male leads are lovely characters and that makes this drama very easy to watch. I can relate to bubbly Amane in the way he handles his feelings and the hesitation he has. He almost always wants to pull back, so he doesn’t hear the possible rejection.

If you are looking for something short, light and sweet, this is a good watch. Not a lot happens, so it could be a positive or a negative thing, depending on what you are looking for.

Screenwriters totally messed this one up.

This is not a classic cold-CEO and bubbly-reporter story. It's a revenge-plot gone wrong. And the people who messed this up were the screenwriters.

Some reviews say that the actors (Dylan Wang or Bai Lu) get the chemistry wrong. That's because they assume it's a cold-CEO and bubbly-reporter. If instead you realize that she's trying to get revenge on the ex-boyfriend, suddenly the chemistry is about right (especially from Bai Lu).

We do get an early notification of the revenge-plot in episode 1... about 10 seconds long at most. Then about 20 episodes before it finally gets to exploding in her face. ML a nice guy, who acts cold to the FL because he knows she has ulterior motives. He fell for her a long time ago, and is trying to figure out why she's approaching him. So he's nice-guy-acting-cold, and she's not-interested-acting-interested.

It's the screenwriters who made a mess here. The audience literally has NO IDEA that he's deliberately faking being cold and uninterested, and is (a) trying to figure out why she's approaching him (he assumes it's money, but that doesn't make sense to him), and (b) trying to hide that he's interested.

Other points:

* The amount of self-conversation / thinking aloud is ridiculous. It's boring for the audience, and *worse* we don't even hear what matters -- i.e. him trying to figure it all out, and her plotting the scheme. There's a remarkable amount of dead-space that drives the audience to some serious boredom.

* The costume designers went way overboard on the currently-popular oversize clothing. Dylan Wang in an oversize suit looks like he's wearing his older brother's hand-me-down outfit. We simply can not take him seriously. He looks young to start with, but in that oversize suit, looks like he's 12. In Rationale Life, he looks like an Adult when he wears a suit.

The most complete mental health kdrama

The most complete mental health kdrama to date as it covers mental illnesses in great detail using multiple case studies. The storyline is well designed to portray the complications of each kind of mental illness in different situations, there's even plenty of visual representations for a better understanding of the symptoms. The pacing of the drama though is quite slow for a Netflix's originals, some of the parts did feel deliberately extended to serve its longer runtime, causing the impact on its storytelling to vary. Still, this drama holds a very important role for mental health awareness just when this society is so demanding and full of expectations, our mental stability could also be swinging at the borderline too without even knowing.

Must watch. Period

This drama is an absolute masterpiece! Everything about it is top-notch. The casting is incredible, and the chemistry between the leads is fantastic. The story is engaging from beginning to end, and the music is some of the best I have ever heard. The acting is superb, and the directing and script are perfect.

However, I must say that the special effects and makeup were quite disappointing. In 4K, it showed just how cheap they were. Compared to Eternal Love of Dreams, the effects and designs are nowhere near as good.

Despite its flaws, this drama is one of my top two must-watch and re-watch dramas. I can see why it's the most-watched drama, as it truly deserves all the praise it gets.

Such a beautifully tragic story. So underrated. (Not really a spoiler if you know the true story ig)

No words can describe how much I loved this. It is so beautiful and tragic and the fact that it's based on a true story makes me even so much more emotional. So if you're feeling like you want to cry to a K-drama, here you go. Such a short story yet still delivered much more than 90% of the K-dramas that have 16 episodes with each episode being 10 hours long. Yet I do wish we had more time to learn about the characters. I watched this a pretty long time so I don't remember all the details but I remember genuinley liking it and man the emotions I felt, as mentioned I think my emotions were double cause this actually happened with two very real people. But of course, we gotta give credit to the actors, I think if the cast includes Lee Jongsuk and Shin Hyesun you should automatically know that the acting is gonna be pretty much perfect, they always know how to portray a character properly so they never disappoint that's for sure. So I can say with confidence that they gave Kim Woojin and Yun Simdeok justice. I gotta say that the quote at the end got me BAD I was literally crying rivers at 1:30 a.m in the morning (?). Right and I don't pay attention to music and OSTs so don't trust my ranking there!!

RIP to Kim Woojin and Yun Simdeok, I pray they get to have their happy ever after in the afterlife.

A very tough watch

November 2023
The series kicks off with Ahn Joon-ho (Jung Hae-in), back in his unit following the close of S1.

From the start, the scenes of mistreatment, bullying and outright sadism, are anger inducing and often hard to watch.
The deserters being pursued in this, series 2, are not the central theme, which instead eventually fixes on a specific event and the efforts of AJH to expose the truth. He does this partly out of a sense of shame and guilt for things that happened in his past.
I found the injustices harder to stomach this time around and the fact several characters never get punished, left me feeling disgusted.

I really hope men about to embark on their national service don't watch either series... it would frighten them to death and rightly so.
Whilst many might go through their service and not experience or witness any such awful treatment, the fact is some will, and the thought it might be them? Well, I'm amazed more don't attempt to vanish before ever joining up.

The fact the series is based on actual experiences and reports (albeit with some poetic license for a drama), makes it all the more disgraceful.

For a country all about manners, respecting age and tradition etc, etc, it's so hypocritical that in real life stuff like this is covered up; physical and mental bullying is commonplace and ignored; people vehemently prejudge others and are cruel; the privacy and basic human rights of pop artists and actors are totally ignored and violated; mental and physical health issues are ignored and even made fun of. It's just horrible.

There is wrong everywhere, I know that, but rarely does it seem to get as ignored and even enabled by its own government, officials, police, laws and citizens, as here.
This series, more than any other, really exposes a very unsavoury side of life that is a tough watch, especially for not being pure fiction.

Excellent acting, yet again, (I was in bits over Jang Seong-min/Nina, brilliantly played by Bae Na Ra) and a fitting OST. Whilst it might upset many, it really is worth watching and there are some humorous scenes to dilute, a tiny bit, the much harder parts.

There may be imperfections, but it's nevertheless superb and, I feel, quite brave.

Bad acting

First of all, this is more about CHINA actors/ actresses portrayal of their roles that are often lacking but yet they gotten it just for the sake of being in the " series" or for the sake of how " popular" they are as a " traffic stars"...so much different than those actresses/actors in Hollywood, Korean, etc that gotten popular because they are really good. Here once they gotten POPULAR just from one drama then they will get number of offers regardless of whether they are really good or suitable for the roles. The company will then heavily promoted them ( $$$$) but are they really deserving it?? I witnessed many actors/actresses that are not that good, but being made to look " good" by all those positive comments ( paid) all over the social medias to boost their popularity.
As for the case here, Dylan acting is actually not great, his voice is lacking the punch and he relied more on " dubbing" on his previous dramas so in this one with his own voice it shows more of his shortcoming, that put his potrayal of this role not up to standard and his facial expression often is too stiff or overall done. So, I cant get immerse into the story because the is no chemistry between the leads and for me, I put more emphasize on the acting than visuals. Of course I understand the fans want to say good things to protect the idols but honestly, acting and good storyline is what get an audience want to watch the dramas, although fans will watch it for the visuals mostly or just to support their idols.

A show filled with love, but with a twist

I rarely write any rewiews, but this show was something else.

Every last frame was perfectly timed, the music was perfectly placed. Even the fighting scenes had my heart racing.

„Moving“ shows what it’s like to have a different approach among the families. Yes love and the powers were the main reason for being very careful outside their houses, but they showed us how they handle it in the right way.
Every actor did such an amazing job playing their role, it was a rollercoaster of emotion, action packed with very messy scenes.

Overall a wonderful series, with a deep meaning behind of it. Waiting for season two will be hard, but than again if it drops it will be worth the wait.

Part 2 or an open ending?

Only Friends is a good series and I was eager to watch each episodes but it doesn't mean I'll give it a ten.

Let me start with the lesbian couple. I expected more from gmmtv. Chueam isn't just a random character and so I expected to see more of her and her relationship like the guys but little to nothing was shown.

Story : I gave the story an 8.5 only because it's quite different from gmmtv releases so far... Still, there where a lot of plots I felt they could've done better instead of covering it with hot kisses. Acting wasn't a solid ten for me. I adore the way the characters; Sand, Ray, Boston and Nick were shown, but there were times I felt Mew and Top could have done better, especially Top. But I won't lie, I enjoyed them more in this series than in their previous work. The intro was kind of cringy to me, but aside from that, the bgm were nice.

Plot holes?: There were reasons why I felt there might be a second season, though not entirely sure. Let's start with how it ended with Mix. I smelled trouble and more drama with that cliffhanger with the way he looked at Mew and the way Top reacted. Sand also didn't conclud with his Dad issue yet. Did they just throw that part of the series out the window? What happened to Boeing after his encounter with Boston? Also daddy Dan just disappeared with no trace whatsoever cause there was no scene of him in the series. Like I mentioned, the plot holes gave me lots of question marks which made me wonder if there would be a season 2 to clear things up, or an open ending so we can imagine other outcome.

Anyways overall it was a fun watch. I kind of knew Boston and Nick won't end up together, and sometimes separation is good. Nick needed someone way better than Boston and that's fact. Though I felt really bad for Boston at the end.

I also don't see myself watching this series again. Though it was a fun watch, I can't imagine watching it for the second time cause of some scenes.

best drama ab mental health that I’ve watched by far

this drama is amazing and beautifully written. I loved it so much, it totally exceeded my expectations. I loved how realistically mental illnesses were depicted, they didn’t over do it. and the characters and their (back)stories were so great. the acting was magnificent too. daily dose of sunshine was heartbreaking but yet heartwarming. i laughed, cried of sadness and joy, i felt seen and understood some times too. this drama was just perfect and at the end of the day ddos felt like a big hug <3

High Reviews and Low Reviews

I fell somewhere in between - although I guess a six is on the low side.

Read many of the reviews - a lot of comments about the toxicity of this series. First of all, like everything I watch, I don't try to dig too deep - most shows have things you don't like, and things you do. BL's are no different, but I feel like the viewers are more critical. If the show was a Male Female relationship would it be labelled toxic?

There was no plot? This isn't a mystery or an action series, it's a love story... that's the plot. Was it over dramatized, maybe, but if it hadn't been, it would be labelled as boring!

I mainly rated it low because I didn't like the ending, it felt very open ended - and I can't see a second season being necessary.

I also didn't feel this should be rated R. There is no violence, the love scenes were shirts off and kissing, and then cut off. I don't mind that, I just think the rating hints at something more.

I try to watch every bl that comes out. I have a whole list just from 2023 that I would give an -0 rating, at least this one was watchable.

P.S. The good looking male was Yoh, just my opinion of course. Enjoy!

One of the best. Like literally.

This drama has a very special place in my heart for real. It is SO SOSOO GOOD. One of the very few K-dramas that don't have forgotten plotholes that aren't actually forgotten, it gave us everything we needed so it's safe to say it had a satisfying end. The acting was on spot, the actors did what they had to do, and they matched the characters so well too, so it's safe to say it was a perfect cast. ESPECIALLY Kim Hye Soo, I genuinley believe I wouldn't love it as much if she didn't have this role. And for once in a blue moon, they showed what an actual mother is like in a K-drama. She was harsh when she needed to be and soft when she needed to be, but she was still a loving mother thinking of her kids in all of the situations.

Everyone really needs to watch it's so underrated T-T. Even my mom who's not a fan of K-dramas really enjoyed it (She was the one that introduced me to it LMAO, a bit ironic I think)
