One of my favorite kdramas that I rewatch it often! The chemistry between So Ji-sub and Shin Min-a is sooooo natural and makes me smile every time I see them engage. "Oh My Venus" is a feel-good drama that not only entertains but also delivers important messages about self-care and self-acceptance. Whether you are a fan of romantic comedies or looking for a series that will leave you feeling uplifted, this show is definitely worth checking out.

Great chemistry between the leads. Lots of Kisses! A well-done Happy ending!

Someone shared a similar timeline for one of the dramas and I Loved knowing what I was getting into. The leads have good chemistry. There's this one scene that might make you want to cry but its not that big of deal. Other than that, you'll enjoy the lead couple, the ML is the main attraction, the FL also a fabulous woman that you'll come to admire. And the scene where they are together, kissing each other, or showing intimacy are just so freaking good!

Ep 1-15: The ML gets into an accident, looses his memory, FL lies to him claiming that she is fiancée for her ulterior motives but ends up falling in love with him. The version who looses the memory reciprocates that love, however wait for him to get his memory back.

Ep 16: Gets his memory back

Ep 17: Has no interaction with FL, but we see some flashback.

Ep 18: Finally has it out with the FL, but FL is the one who approaches him. He simply denies that there was anything between them but lies. Thankfully, the FL is not weak.

Ep 19: His ex-fiancée tries to get ML back but he isn't interested at all. He is more interested in plotting revenge against the FL, enacting his plan, he shows up at the FL's company to irritate her.

Ep 20: FL becomes ML's assistant, he tries his best to make her miserable. But I like FL's attitude. She knows that she deceived him so she is okay with him trying to take revenge. At the end of the episode, we'll have a sismance moment with FL and Yu Qing Qing. They are so good to each other, friendships like that are gold.

Ep 21: Through intervention from his Doctor & cousin, the ML finally is able to accept that although FL lied to him, she might love him or might have loved him.

Ep 22: They have a meal, bury the hatchet. The next day ML gets jealous and acts crazy.

Ep 23 to Ep 26: Its mostly the leads bickering a bit, having some gentle moments.

Ep 27: FL kinda goes on a blind date and the ML shows up beats the guy.

Ep 28: They finally kiss again.

From then one, the relationship part is mostly resolved. In the second last episode, we see villains get what they deserve.
The final episode focuses solely on the happy ending that the couple deserved. This was such a good drama to watch. Cdrama writers out there need to take note on how to master an ending, not mess it up, or rush through it in the final minutes.

This drama definitely earned it’s place in my top favorites

I adored everything about this drama. It healed a part of me that i didn’t even know existed. (Crying in mommy and daddy issues ?? haha just kidding..) I absolutely recommend this if you want to watch something wholesome while laughing and crying tears of joy. Their little boy made the drama 10 times better and definitely stole the spotlight. I love them so much and was never bored not even for a second (coming from someone who dropped most of the dramas she started) I absolutely adore them. I finished this in 3 days. 10/10 for sure.

Another hit with my fav, So Ji-Sub! One of the main things I enjoy about "The Master's Sun" is its unique storyline! It offers a perfect balance of suspense, romance, and humor. The chemistry between the lead characters draws you into their world and makes you root for them as their relationship begins to blossom.
The incorporation of supernatural elements also is interesting and adds an exciting twist to the traditional romantic drama genre. Overall, it's a stand out series and a must-watch for anyone looking for a refreshing and engaging series that will evoke a range of emotions.

Mafia-like politician against lewd lawyer and his naive martial arts BF

It is a good thing that modern BL movies have escaped the pure boys love landscape, in the sense that we get to watch adults engaging in adult situations and not just teenies whining about their first love. In this respect laws of attraction is great.

I watched with mixed expectations, and some of them were fulfilled while others did not.
First things first: The plot is a combination of crime mystery, with all the clichéd characters one expects. The lewd layer, the naive martial arts master, the corrupt politician etc. So far so good. Some of the characters do have some development, such as the senators son, who started out as a spoiled little brat and become a more kind hearted person (having been abused by his psychotic father), and the lawyer who became more humane. Others, like the senator, on the other hand remain one-dimensional throughout, who is simply portrayed as the personification of evil without any justification, back story, or development. The criminal story has several loopholes but it generally makes sense (at least to an extent), but of course one should always keep in mind that this is a BL series and not a Hollywood movie, so please judge accordingly.

The acting is rather problematic. I think that the chemistry between both the main and the secondary couples is lacking (to put it mildly). In the first half of the series there is quite some tension in the air, which, alas, culminates in a melodramatic bubbly Barbie-ish atmosphere in very unsatisfactory way. Tin is supposed to has just lost his niece to a murder, is a virgin (I suppose this regards same-sex relationships?) and yet falls head-over-heels for the (untrustworthy at first) lawyer. Everyone is accepting (what a perfect society we live in), and Grandma (who runs a traditional restaurant in a poor neighborhood and has lost her granddaughter AND her parents previously, happily wants to pursue a singing career in a bar run by an (adorable) lesbian couple. On the whole little makes sense in this direction....

The senator behaves like the worst mafia boss, kills, tortures and threats indiscriminately (even his own son, whom he uses to cover up his own crimes) and this happens perfectly hidden from public scrutiny. Even if one was to say that Thailand is not the most democratic country, it is definitely so corrupt (well at least not according to several international rankings).

In general there was little emotional development. The quantity of blood and killings did not correlate with the couples' relationships, which should have been more mature/adult (not necessarily more skin, but definitely more down-to-earth and less pink-lady-like). Everything feels like a random mixture of movie elements, that have not been cooked together long enough. Quite a lot of interesting ideas, but not pursued enough.

Do not get me wrong. The series is not trash, in fact it is better than many other series out there. However, it does not reach the hight of emotional dramas with amazing chemistry like some HIStory seasons, mood indigo, gray rainbow, a tale of thousand stars (just to name a few), or the action packed genre, like advance bravely, or the sign.

I really loved this unique series in thai industry

Why this rating is low?I don't f**** care about ratings. This is a revolution in thai industry.I don't really understand what to hate about this story. It's not a stereotype lovey dovey fluffy bl .It's not even focused on bl.But this show is definitely not everyone's cup of tea.If anyone into just bl they shouldn't watch this.
I started liking it from the ep 1.This series carried many emotions of mine and obviously it was a rollercoaster of many theories.I didn't expect this much since it was bl and on the top thai. But it really exceeded my expectations.
At first I loved it for the perfect cast. But one after another I was really into story. And then the music got me.Every character portrayed perfectly . That's the prove from how mauch hate, love, admire, confusion they got from us.Speciallly Bracode and Mio.Barcode in only 19 but how he was into his character, really deserve enough appreciation. And for Mio ,it never felt like it's his first time or he is not a professional. Then comes my favourite Jjay and Fuaiz, they nailed it wonderfully.Ta was successful to show his character properly.Everyone did great despite being new or old.
The ending was really mind blowing. No need of season 2 or special episode. If anyone can't handle the ending I said before it's not everyone's cup of tea.
overall it's really a fine product that I needed.

I was totally into Dff.it deserve 10/10.but we all can see good things never get proper appreciation.

I just feel that the story loses its focus.

This drama initially captivated my attention, particularly due to the compelling portrayal of the main couple, whose humor and charm were undeniable. Junpyo adeptly maintains an outward facade of a mature, affluent individual to his peers, yet beneath this veneer, he grapples with the absence of proper parental affection and struggles with his own emotional turmoil. His profound affection for Jandi, who also contends with conflicting emotions toward Junpyo, forms the crux of their dynamic, as she vacillates between disdain and affection, akin to navigating a precarious tightrope of emotions. Their interactions are imbued with delightful moments, showcasing their palpable chemistry.

However, my enjoyment of the drama waned as it progressed, primarily due to the succession of contrived plot developments, such as Jandi's association with the model boy, Junpyo's forced marriage, and his subsequent memory loss in the final episode. These narrative twists gradually eroded the natural chemistry between the main characters, transitioning the tone from lighthearted and engaging to somber and disheartening. By the conclusion, I found myself rooting for Jandi to pursue a relationship with Jihoo, as their chemistry appeared more genuine and enduring, while the connection between Jandi and Junpyo seemed strained and fatigued.

In hindsight, I believe the drama would have benefited from a more concise narrative, spanning perhaps 12 to 16 episodes, to maintain the integrity of the central romance and prevent the dilution of its emotional impact.

This Korean series captivated me from the first minutes and gave me an outstanding cinematic experience.

One of the most brilliant features of the series is how it manages to bring to life the tense atmosphere and drama of the historical war between Goryeo and Khitan. The battle scenes are choreographed with remarkable precision, and the visual effects are impressive, transporting us right into the middle of the epicenters of the conflicts.

The careful direction and the deep performances of the actors give the characters an authenticity and complexity that grabs you. In each episode, I was captivated by the well-developed story and the evolution of the characters, who face not only their opponents in the war, but also their own inner demons.

One of the standout features of "Dream High" is its stellar cast, which includes K-pop idols such as Suzy, Kim Soo-hyun, and Taecyeon! Their performances bring depth and emotion to the characters, making viewers root for their success and empathize with their struggles.
The drama's soundtrack, featuring catchy songs like "Dream High" and "Someday", adds another layer of enjoyment to the series, leaving a lasting impact on fans long after the final episode.

Second chances

I watched it and I loved it – plain and simple. Aspects of the show I found most appealing include the following.
- Universal topics. Issues raised by the show include first love, trust, search for happiness, expressing feelings, difficulties of communication, fear of getting hurt, fear of hurting a loved one, longing for love and companionship, overcoming insecurities, dealing with trauma and emotional baggage – among others.
- Relatability. Myung-Ha and Yeo-Woon – so different and yet sharing many similarities – are like mirrors reflecting issues we all have. Myung-Ha’s “I don’t know what to do when I like someone” and Yeo-Woon’s “You’re my first everything” and “Whenever I see you, I both feel good and want to cry” sum it up perfectly.
- Minimalism. No time was wasted on filler, unnecessary scenes or gestures, also there is almost no “fluff”. Despite focusing on one couple and one plot (Chun Sang-Won and Ahn Kyung-Hoon are not primary nor even secondary characters in this story – they are merely there, just like the rest of the cast, for the main couple to have someone to interact with) the show managed to convey an abundance of story and content. The storytelling was very concise and highly effective.
- Performances. Lee Taevin and Cha Joowan did a superb job, their performances are very strong and convincing. Both actors were visibly comfortable with the material and each other, displaying a top-tier on-screen chemistry. Very impressive.
- The switch. Initially Myung-Ha is the active one, getting through to Yeo-Woon, but once Yeo-Woon embraces his feelings he takes the lead, while Myung-Ha begins keeping his distance, realizing his own problems. In someone else’s hands this shift could be wasted or become incomprehensible or would require more time to be developed – but not in LFLS.
- Serious tone and humor reduced to a minimum.
- Very good cinematography and camerawork.
- Memorable and well-chosen music, with the instrumental bit accompanying Myung-Ha’s search for Yeo-Woon in ep. 1 (as well as Myung-Ha’s and Yeo-Woon’s reunion at the beach in ep. 8) being my absolute favorite.

This was the second Korean BL I watched (“Choco Milk Shake” being the first one) and this might explain my initial surprise at the difference between Thai BLs and LFLS. As I tried to explain to a colleague of mine: when I watch Thai BLs I treat the characters as Polish (I am from Poland), only played by insanely good-looking guys. That is the level of similarities and relatability I sense when watching Thai productions. LFLS was initially different – either because of cultural differences, Korean style of BL making, source material, artistry of Kim Kyun-Ah or other factors. That feeling of otherness, however, lasted for about 10 minutes.

LFLS is a true gem. It is not perfect, however its flaws are so few I decided to omit them in this review. Some might be surprised that so far I did not mention the computer game like setting and everything connected with it (including the “plot twist” in ep. 7). The reason for that is rather simple: I did not find it important. This is, after all, a love story, and not a story about computer games; what matters is the plot – not the setting.

Revenge is a dish best served cold...like the cooling plotline of Marry My Husband

If you want to watch Marry My Husband chances are that you either are a fan of one or more of the actors or you enjoy a good revenge plotline (or both!). The drama starts out very heavy with a terminal diagnosis followed by an ultimate betrayal of trust and love. Sprinkle in some time travel and the stage is set for what one hopes is a salty revenge tale full of thrown water glasses, screaming at each other in public places, and tears. Lots of tears.

What you get is....some of that. And when you do get it, the drama is really good. For the first half of the drama I was very interested in Kang Ji Won's quest for revenge and her budding entaglement with Yoo Ji Hyuk. I appreciate the acting of Song Ha Yoon -- she really made me despise Jung Soo Min and her neverending craftiness. I also found the plot device of fate still having to play out (whether it plays out on Kang Ji Won or someone she knows) to be really well done and interesting as well. For the first half of the drama I found myself eagerly waiting for the next episodes to drop so I could find out what happened next in the quest for revenge.

But then the plot just...cools. I don't know of any better way to put it than the plot just cools down. I think it happens in earnest shortly after Kang Ji Won and Yoo Ji Hyuk realize they both have time traveled. The way that this is revealed (through BTS songs) was interesting, but then the pacing gets all funky. I found this change of pace to be a bit jarring - almost like a car stopping and stalling. The change in pacing threw me out of the story so much that I was no longer invested in their budding romance at all...which became the main plot point over the revenge. Some episodes there were a million things happening and other episodes weemed to drag on. I accidentally fell asleep during two of the episodes....oops. By the time BoA entered the drama portraying Oh Yoo Ra I was pretty much done with the story and ready for it to end.

By the time the drama was over I was definitely ready for it to end. Did I enjoy it? Yes, I think I did despite what I would call its flaws. Would I rewatch it? Nope.

My new favorite Park Min Young drama!

I usually go into dramas made from other works I am familiar with expecting disappointment. In the first couple of episodes, I even complained a bit in my head because I felt the lead was too timid in comparison. However, this drama was very satisfying to watch and I do not feel like it lacks in comparison to the original work in any way.

The show really hit positive marks for me all around, it is hard to find many flaws. The script was good the cast was amazing and Kang Ji Won's transformation was satisfying to watch. The ending made me smile and I do not know if I can ask for much more out of a drama. I understand all dramas are based on personal preferences and opinions but I do not see how, if you enjoy this style of drama, anyone would not at least enjoy their time with this drama.

If I had to nitpick I'd say the sound design did not have an impact on me whether the music or effects, be that either positive or negative. And I have to wonder if Kopiko is trying to become the 999 of Korean dramas. They seem to be paying for a lot of in-drama advertisements.

I would highly recommend the drama the acting and script were both top tier in my opinion and made up for whatever minor flaws the filming had. A show I believe I will rewatch multiple times in my lifetime. I give it an excellent rating.
