Genuine, Warm, Peaceful

This is the drama that you need when you want to seek genuine peace and warmth in your life.

TBH, slice-of-life is not my preferred genre. I’d avoid this genre, most of the time. But I decided to watch this because of Li Xian, and I love it SO MUCH I ended up falling in love with other cast members.

As a graduate from Tourism Management course who is also an aspiring writer, I think this drama has succeeded in promoting Yunnan with excellent script-writing.

Even tho it’s slow, there wasn’t a single boring moment. No skipping/fast-forwarding at all. I even found myself feeling hesitant to finish this masterpiece, as if it wasn’t slow enough.

Definitely a 10/10 from me, and if it was possible I would rate it much more higher!

Heartwarming Japanese Drama.

I gave it a lower rating, but the show will stay in my heart forever. Its been days since I finishing it, yet, I cannot get it out of my head! Literally I'll be eating, and just start laughing whenever I remember a scene...

The story follows a highschool girl who just got rejected, doesn't have any friends, and started losing her desire to live. That is until her teacher interrupts her during an attempt and asks her to date him before she dies. From then on, anytime she starts feeling down or starts thinking of suicide, he shows up. Slowly, she starts getting a grip and finding a reason to live on.

The teacher/student relationship might be a turn-off at first, but it never felt creepy. Anytime it seems like the ML is being pushy or "pervy," there is usually a ulterior motive that in turn helps the FL.

The ML will go down as one of my most favorite's ever, he also made me smile and the made the story extra entertaining. At first, I didn't like the beginning episode, nonetheless I kept going and I have no regrets! The story is unique, unpredictable, and hilarious/sad when it should be. If you need something to cheer you up, this is the perfect drama for you. I could rewatch this a million times and never get tired of it, especially the ML.

I teared up when it ended, and I beg to anybody who was involved, for a second season. Even if you don't like the whole "teacher/student relationship," just give it a try and you WILL NOT REGRET IT.

The storyline is great

This is the second collaboration between bai lu and luo yunxi that's why I always wanted to watch this. This is my first ancient drama.

The storylines are very good in all the three lives. They are well connected to each other. I always wanted to watch this type of storyline. The character I not like was ye biancheng at the last because she is not so much interesting villan.from her face you can say what is she going to do from ep 1 to ep 40.

The cast also had done great ? there acting skills are just wow ?. literally you can feel the emotion of the characters. Especially bai lu and luo yunxi their emotional scenes are very good.

The costumes have great impact on characters. The costumes are so good, creative and well-defined that they can tell about character. The costumes I love the most was Tantaijin devil Lord costumes, Li susu pink dress in that dress bai lu was looking beautiful.
And in the three wedding costumes. last wedding costume was amazing with dark shades. ming ye and sang jiu's wedding costumes was prettiest of all. tantai jin and ye xiwu's wedding costumes was also good.

The story line I like the most was ming ye and sang jiu it was very beautiful

The osts are very beautiful. The best ??ones are when we were like 10,000 years like this and mystical bird, my world.

vfx is great ?in scenes like great war or some beautiful scenes. It doesn't look unrealistic.

This drama is worth watching...

Not an episode went by without me screaming in front of my screen

'Only friends' is a messy yet intriguing series and no the plot isn't the mess in fact the plot execution is really good, however the characters are absolutely messy and the whole plot revolves around these very messy characters. Red flags here, red flags there and I am honestly not a fan of red flags but this series had me ever since the trailer. One of the most striking elements of this series is the undeniable chemistry among the actors. The emotions, the tension they convey through the screen are palpable, tugging at my heartstrings and making the characters connections and conflicts feel all too real. I am so invested.

Not an episode went by without me screaming in front of my screen, be it in excitement or frustration. I had to pause from time to time to take deep breath and to calm down because honestly this riled me up, made me swear and scream and I was still enjoying it.

WARNING: Major spoilers ahead!!

Starting with Sand because he is my favorite. He is sassy and has his own ways- both good and bad. He is confident, charming, mess with him and be ready for a payback. And he has my heart. I really can't see him getting hurt. He is so freaking precious and honestly I just want to throw some punches on Ray but then again I can't do that. One glimpse of Ray crying and my anger is all melted but then he does some shitty things again and my anger, my frustration is back. Ray, he is alcoholic, kind of lonely, one hell of a selfish prick, and I am so freaking mad at him or I am not. Honestly I don't know anymore. Also, he is such a tease. He says Sand isn't my type but then he is flirting with Sand every single second of every single minute Sand is around him. And yeah they were 'ONLY' friends even after all the smoke kiss and the nights and what nots and he liked Mew and he messed up a big time but call me color blind I still wanted to see Sand and Ray happily together. However, that doesn't change the fact that Sand deserves so much better.

Moving on to Nick, he is such a cute baby but a big no he ain't innocent. He is so certain about what and who he wants which is a good trait but he is suffering and I just wanna go and punch Boston but then again I can't do this either. I am a softie for them all. Sorry not sorry!! Honestly, Boston is a hot manipulative mess and a major major red flag. He's using Nick and I hate him when Nick is hurting, more so when he screws things up but guess what I still can't hate him completely. I don't even know if I hate him at all, he just gets me screaming in front my screen in frustration. Also, he and Nick were friends.. 'ONLY' friends after all the nights and sweet talks and what nots and Boston was playing around but call me crazy I seriously wanted them to be the endgame even after all of that. And trust me what Boston wants he gets it by hook or by crook.

Then we have Mew, the said nerd in the friend circle and the innocent yet not so innocent guy. He is into Top but he plays hard to get. Talking about Top, he radiates the vibe of a red flag but trust me he isn't the first one on the list. However, it's clear he does want Mew at the moment and I think he really does have feelings for Mew or am I just being clowned? I still don't know honestly. Okay so they had a thing going on and they too were 'ONLY' friends and then boyfriends for a tiny while and then they- aaaahahjahdahsjd- watch it yourself to know.

See, mess! mess! the head throbbing, heart wrenching mess they created!!

The most sorted relationship in the friends circle is of Namchueam and April and they don't really have enough screen time. It might look like I am complaining. Yeah I am because I was losing my mind and I was on the edge every single second while watching this. But damnnn the chemistry they have. I can't unsee it and I am so invested. Also, none of the characters are bland. There's Dan, who is hitting on Nick and his chemistry with Nick is no joke. Then we have Boeing, my god, this guy is the real deal. He made his entry like a tornado, shaking up the already messed up relationship equations and damn his charm is irresistible. Also, Yo and Plug they had minimum screen time but they ate up their scenes.

To add up the osts, the sound tracks, I love it mahn and even the lyrics of the osts. Honestly this series is a mess and it triggered my trust issues. I couldn't and I still can't trust anyone of them not even my favorites and still this is so worth it. Highly Highly recommended!!

This drama on the surface looked to me like a typical romance xianxia, but after watching it I have come to realize that the romance part of it is very atypical and unlike other dramas of the same genre that I have watched before. For me what stood out most was how drastically different each pairing was, which was a good thing, because if all the pairs were similar, the entire drama would be a bore. Another plus was I felt that the entire drama was centered around the sibling relationship between Xiaoyao and Cangxuan. It was ultimately a story of brother and sister conquering the world, and everyone else were just supporting roles along the way. My thoughts on each of the CPs will be written down below to avoid spoilers in my more generic review.

The plot itself was streamline and I did not feel it dragging, though it did slow down after all the action moved to the courts and politics became more prominent. The best part of the drama had to be the episodes spent at the little town of Qingshui where it all began. As I said above, the majority of the plot revolves around the siblings, and we get to follow along Cangxuan’s journey to power. What made it relatively easy to follow was there were minimal important characters, and the world that the story takes place in is relatively small. In other words, we didn’t have to spend too many brain cells to remember a ton of names and places. This is also a plus because it meant there weren’t many useless characters.

However, I have to speak out (rant) on my dissatisfaction for episode one. It really left a bad taste in my mouth and almost made me reluctant to continue. First, I feel that it was a very unnecessary episode. If it wanted to introduce us to background story, it could’ve done it in a different way, a way that the drama used for the rest of the episodes - flashbacks!!! If flashbacks are done well, their purpose is to tell the audience the background story. This introduction was not effective, and I did not understand any of the motives behind what the adults chose to do (ahem a certain grave jumper). Second, fine, you want to start off with an introductory background story episode, then why do you need to add in a narration. It seemed like they just gave up on telling the background story and resorted to the typical narration followed by a time skip format. Anyway, enough ranting. Luckily I chose to move on from episode one and immediately the scenes that followed the 300 years later time skip were drastically improved.

Before the spoilers, I would like to applaud the acting of the entire main cast. I never doubted Yang Zi’s acting. Zhang Wanyi, Deng Wei, and Tan Jianci were pleasant surprises as I have not seen any of their past work before. They were truly the one and only fit for their role and did a phenomenal job. Can’t wait for season two.

SPOILERS AHEAD. Now on to taking about each CP.

First we have Yaojing. I fell instantly for 17 as soon as he made an appearance. He also had a great advantage in that he was the first male lead to make an appearance. I think what struck me most was his devotion towards Xiaoyao that began from the instant she saved his life. Usually this type of relationship is backwards in dramas, where the female lead is the one that needs saving then falls in love with her savior. It was refreshing to see this trope flipped in this drama. 17 was doing great and ahead in the race for me up until he had to resume his identity as Jing. As politics entered, although he wanted his heart to only belong to Xiaoyao, he could not help but carry some of the burden of being his clan’s future leader. What is heartbreaking is he did nothing wrong, but I think it is intentional to make the audience feel that he is no longer at a position where he can be a good partner to Xiaoyao.

As Jing was slowing down in the race, Xiang Liu quickly overcame him and became first place in the race. At the beginning I hated him. He hurt Xiaoyao without batting his eye and was abusing her by drinking her blood without her consent. But I got to understand him more, and he quickly became the most suitable partner for Xiaoyao in my mind. I see Yaoliu as soulmates. They were both in the same tragic conditions as children, and both fought their way out of their struggles, and made a life for themselves. They are both emotionally cold, strong, but also soft for the right people. Xiang Liu was there to pick Xiaoyao up whenever she was down. He was the one who taught her practical skills and how to defend herself. In return, Xiaoyao allowed him to take her blood as medicine, she accepted his identity and purpose, and never condemned him because he is a nine-headed “monster”. Their relationship was well balanced and Xiang Liu is the only person that I feel Xiaoyao can really be herself around.

Cangxuan’s over-protectiveness of his sister is a result of his tragic past as a child, losing all of his relatives in a short amount of time. Xiaoyao is the closest person to him, and he cannot emotionally bear losing her too. I never saw Yaoxuan as a couple, but they are probably the best sibling CP that I have seen in a drama. They are soulmates in a way that is different from Yaoliu. The pair had some of the best cry-worthy scenes in the drama. Two that are worth mentioning are when Xiaoyao mistook A-nian’s mother as her own mother, and her identity was therefore revealed in a heartbreaking scene with Cangxuan. Another one is when Cangxuan was being attacked and Xiaoyao protected him with her life from Fang Fengbei’s arrow. I can’t wait to see more of these two in season two.

Lastly, we have Fenglong. I don’t even know if I should include him in the race or not. I never shipped them, and I never felt that Fenglong would be a good partner for Xiaoyao. As he said himself, they are more like bros than anything else. I appreciate his frankness because he admits that he wants to marry her partly because of her identity.

Irregular Frequency

I'm not sure how a novel adaptation has managed to become a dull and sometimes boring TV series. This show had the perfect combination (or imperfect, maybe) of bad editing, an interesting plot that turned into a laugh, questionable acting and a small studio that has already produced very mediocre BLs such as Hidden Love and What's Zabb Man. So, let's talk about each.

1. The plot is not a new one as we've seen plenty of ghost-human Thai BLs starting with "He's Coming to Me" (with Ohm and Singto), "Peach of Time" (the Korean-Thai co-production with Jimmy and Tommy) and the more recent "Something in My Room" and "Ghost Host, Ghost House", among others of course. All the series I mentioned had the mystery component of finding either who killed the ghost, why, how and finding a way for the soul to reach the afterlife safely. In this case, Thames has an apparent accident that leaves him in a comma and, suddenly, his soul leaves his body and he is able to communicate with Mon (his manager's brother) and interact with him. The pair form a type of Sherlock Holmes-Watson dynamic trying to find clues as to who caused Thames's accident and why before time runs out for his soul to return to his body (otherwise he'll die). So far, it sounds good, right? Well, that's as far it goes because the storyline falls into the same traps we've grown used to in recent BLs where managers or agents or producers try to exploit actors for their own benefit (Thames is a famous actor in this series). Thames discovers the tricks Thanit is doing while managing Ai, records him, and Thanit discovers Thames and chases him down and almost kills him. So, sadly, instead of trying to find something a bit more original or creative, we have all the usual pitfalls that are increased by the terrible...

2. Editing... oh boy! The problem of having a series with only 8 episodes is that the producer and the director have to be on-point and be almost flawless in the way they link the scenes to solve the mystery and give us a happy ending. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen as some of the continuity in the scenes got lost by having flashbacks to tell us what happened to Thames at the party before the accident and also to introduce some of the characters and their storylines. In one scene Thames and Mon will be talking in Mon's house and the next scene he will be sitting in his work desk talking to his friend Pete or Thames will be chatting with the house guardian Guy and next he will be cuddling with Mon in the living room. Some of the major moments did not get the proper editing like Thanit's capture (a joke of a scene by the way) in episode 7 or the non-sense between Guy and Thames just before he comes back to life where magically, we find out that the house guardian was actually Mon's childhood friend who died in an accident and that Mon blames himself for all these years but he never recognizes him at all?! Now, not all is the issues happened because of the editing... some have to do because of the...

3. Poor acting. I get it, Guitar and Ping are cute and look good together... end of story. The reality is they had virtually zero chemistry and I don't know why they were instructed to give their lines the way they did (actually, all the actors were the same). Thames will say a line, he will wait for 5 seconds of starting into Mon's eyes, silence, Mon will then say his line, wait another 5 seconds and just stare into Thames's eyes, rinse and repeat. ALL the actors did the same and I'm not sure why the acting coach and the director decided to do this. No actor had really complicated lines with medical terms or difficult words or had to talk for a long time... so I think this prevented me from being more engaged in the story as I was just pressing the fast forward button to skip several seconds of silence and awkward stares. The chemistry part is a bit more worrying as the lead couple had Ping trying too hard to be cute and Guitar not doing enough as he fell flat in most scenes, in my opinion, to be the lead couple.
The other actors were there just to be there... Mon's sister Bua seems like a possible culprit of Thames's accident when she pulls out Thames cellphone out of nowhere in episode 3 or 4. Then, she disappears for a lot of moments and stays at the hospital with the grandmother but does nothing relevant. Pete is a useless character who works with Mon and later ends up being the son of a mafia boss (another laughable storyline). Ai is exploited by his manager Thanit as he has to have sex with clients until he lures Thanit to catch him. Beam (playing Mark in this series) has already appeared in a few BLs (most notably "Check Out", where he has an extra steamy scene near the end of the series) but in this series he likes Ai without anything interesting happening between them aside from brief flirting scenes. The house guardian, played by Bonus (who we saw in the disasters that were "What Zabb Man!", "Gen Y" and "Gen Y Season 2") also does nothing until he appearently helps Thames's soul to return to his body before telling him he is Mon's childhood friend.
And, let's talk about the scenes in episode 7 where Thanit gets caught... Pete brings his mafia gang to catch him and despite being surrounded by 6 gunmen plus Mon, Ai, and Mark, he still manages to have a half-ass fight and shoots his gun. I mean, there is no police in Thai BLs or all the characters are masochists who enjoy getting hurt or putting themselves at risk just to be the heroes?

So, once again, Kantana gives us a nice idea but a far from ideal end result.

This is so Takashi Miike

Watching Takashi Miike once or twice and you'll recognize that bloody director anywhere. He really loves gore and to splatter blood everywhere.

I saw the drama in YT shorts and I was visually attracted, so that's why I watched. Who knew it has only 6 episodes, which end up being nothing more, but a LONG prologue. Tbh it's the same as if I've just watched the longest introduction to the concept of what is a Connect. Or a short series how a guy chased another guy with a phrase "return my eye to me".
I must admit, realizing that it ends with a huge cliffhanger I was pretty disappointed. Because the concept of Connect was pretty entertaining.
And what is "Connect"? Connect is an urban legend about an undying person. And it truly is so, even if they're cut to pieces their bodies seek to reconnect the parts. For the criminal gang it was like a big dream - they thought the guy will heal himself, though I think Connect doesn't work that way, they do reassemble, but I don't think they're capable of regenerating organs. Otherwise he wouldn't run around screaming - give me my eye back. After all whenever there's a cut those filament like tentacle act almost instinctively and immediately. Tbh partially this reminded me of the Parasyte -the maxim- anime, although connect doesn't have any alien form to exist in the human body, but the ability to transform body and survive is what feels alike.
And this Connect man is Dong Soo, a silent introvert guy who likes to stay low-key in the shadows and live his life quietly, fully aware of who he is and afraid of being found out, he was caught by criminals and although he managed to escape, but one of his eyes was taken away for transplantation. Little did he know that this way he was connected to another person, who happened to be the serial killer. The way he figured it out was also unusual, after all Connect is a special existence and due to the part in question being the eye, Dong Soo could "see" some of the images from the other person.
Also, I'm pretty sure many of us had seen those opening scenes with the human statue and that's why we got interested.
Figuring it out Dong Soo tried to find and stop the man (wonderfully played by Go Kyung Po), so there will be no more victims. But I must say that Dong Soo acted so suspicious at all times, he always acted as if he was on a wanted list. And because of this he stumbles a lot on his way to seek justice. So there were times when I wanted to ask him - don't you find your actions counter-productive? Maybe change something? Especially if you want to stop the dude.
The story itself follows three lines, one is just for fighting - criminal gang that tries to capture him; the line of the serial killer; third line is finding out that he's not the only one like this. But it's hard to name it a full story, because the gang was just chasing and fighting, the killer had a showdown, but it all ended interestingly and the number of connects grew by the end of the show. So the ending wasn't only the biggest cliffhanger, but a huge tease. And this is the biggest spoiler, but I'm still mentioning it, after all my curiosity grew when we find out that cut parts can be attached to others, not only, what if a bad guy becomes one of you and we won't get anything unless there will be a new season (or just go and read webtoon instead).

Emotionally the depth of this show is shallow and is not enough to cover your ankle. The only one who goes into dilemma is Dong Soo. His overall reaction to society should give you the idea that because of who he is, he can't live a life in the open, just a simple accident may blow his cover, like it happened in his childhood (the scene used once too often in the series imo). He stuck out like a sore thumb compared to others. You can't expect anything from Jin Seop. I Rang as we figured has her own agenda. The gang was responsible for chasing, screaming and coloring the screen red. And the way the storyline progressed also felt lacking and felt slow. Although what would you expect from Miike. As I said it's simply a long intro, after all nothing was truly resolved.

It was alright.

I’m not going to lie I was very confused in the beginning, I wasn’t sure which character was which but after a few scenes I was able to figure it out.

The pacing is very fast and the relationship between Chisoo and Gitae is very, very rushed. The transition between scenes could have been smoother and less jarring.

The acting was alright, it wasn’t my favorite by any means but it wasn’t terrible either. Though the first spicy scene did make me laugh from how realistic and awkward it was. I will say I did enjoy the relationship between Chisoo and Gitae. I wouldn't say I loved them because I didn't. Their relationship felt too fast for me to ship them wholeheartedly.

With how fast the pacing is and how short the episodes are you don’t really know enough about their backstories to understand certain things, at least I didn’t; for example Chisoo’s nightmare where he woke up screaming left me a bit confused. And the ending is very open ended you can decide what happens next yourself.

Complex, compelling, heartbreaking spy thriller

The Wind Blows From Longxi is an intelligent drama, full of intelligent characters, and it assumes that its viewers will be equally intelligent and able to follow its complex plot.

It is not a show for casual viewers. It starts off with no exposition. For a non-Chinese audience or in fact, for anyone without prior knowledge of the Three Kingdoms and figures like Zhuge Liang, it might be off putting. But your patience will be rewarded if you hang in there, especially in the second half of the show.

The show is worth it for the plot only. As PeachBlossomGoddess pointed out, the scenario is so well-written that by the time shocking twists occur, eveything falls into place and clicks into your mind. How many spies could there really be? How could this guy make such mistakes? How could this fall into this person’s hands? What’s the ultimate goal here? Million questions popped up as we watched, and the show always delivered brilliantly.

Beyond the plot, the meticulous production and top-notch acting elevated a show that could end up being too dry and cerebral. Chen Kun’s Chen Gong and Bai Yu’s Xun Xu are stellar. The brotherhood between them is the emotional anchor of the show. You can tell you’re watching great actors when you you see them playing spies pretending to be someone they’re not, and their ambiguous performance makes you guess who they are truly — like the multilayered plot, these are mutilayered performances by actors who play roles within roles within roles. I bawled a lot in the last episode, which meant for me that not only did the show manage to keep me engaged intellectually through and through, it also emotionally gut-punched me!

Unlike many Chinese shows, it’s relatively short at 24 episodes, and once it reaches the end, it didn’t need to rush through anything, all characters’ arcs make sense, and the plot threads are wrapped up neatly.

It’s my second Ma Boyong’s show after Under the Miscrocope, which with The Wind Blows From Longxi shares themes such as politics, morality, loyalty, sacrifice… I loved that in the end, this was not a clear-cut good vs evil battle, and yet, it also let the integrity and dignity of its main characters shine.

A nearly perfect show, particularly once the story lifts off after the first few episodes, and one of the few I’m tempted to rewatch with the emotional rollercoaster of hindsight.

if only I could binge watch the whole series at once.

so I’m going to keep this short and sweet since there are plenty of other reviews here that reflect the same thoughts as me.

Only Friends was a show I didn’t expect a lot from, I don’t know why.. maybe because it’s very ambitious considering all the actors in this. Let me say though.. instead of shooting itself in the foot this drama is just so gritty and raw and graphic and it’s good!

Only Friends has a range of relationships and the characters are all weaved together with characters hooking up with eachother and being friends. The amount of stories and things going on isn’t overwhelming to me. Instead I am finding myself buying into the stories and commentating aloud about who is a red flag, who is getting the short end of the stick, and who I want to get together.

In short this drama is entertaining. It’s got so much it’s doing and it’s a lot more than I thought it would be. A lot more sexy, a lot more thought provoking, it’s got so many good things going for it. GMM isn’t getting stale at all, here they are thriving.

This whole drama from start to finish had twists and a plot running through and weaving through multiple characters and scenarios. My only problem I guess is blatant fanservice with pairings doing certain things and he last episode has a lot of fluff that some characters didn’t act in their right mind of like themselves.

Like eating a whole carton of ice cream by yourself

Watching this classic kdrama (which I’ve now done 3 times) is like eating a whole carton of ice cream by yourself in one sitting. In the moment, it’s so delicious and addictive, but when you’re done and the tummy ache sets in, you really start to question your life choices.

The Bad
1. Like in a lot of old kdramas, the male lead isn’t just cold but actually treats the female lead like garbage. He is either cruel to her, messes with her because he thinks it’s funny, or manhandles her. In one scene, he punches the wall next to her head. He also confesses to Sam Soon before he has broken up with his girlfriend (aka cheating), and he never takes no for an answer. This behavior creates an addictive plot with a lot of sexual tension (see The Good below), but let’s not pretend that it’s a healthy example of a romantic relationship.

2. The basic premise is that an “overweight” baker attracts an incredibly handsome younger man. Kim Sun Ah did gain weight for this role, so Sam Soon may be “overweight” compared to the actress’s norm, but there’s no way anyone could claim that she’s overweight. In fact, she looks like she’s a pretty healthy normal weight. Watching a show where the characters say over and over again that a normal weight woman is fat is so harmful to girl’s self image, so a show that has a supposedly empowering premise ends up being really damaging.

The Good
1. The enemies to lovers sexual tension here is sooooo good. And it’s not just the flirty, innocent, romantic tension of a lot of kdramas. It’s actual sizzling sexual tension. If you want to skip this drama, I would still suggest looking up some of the iconic scenes on YouTube because they are really worth watching.

2. I typically don’t find kdrama humor funny at all, but I laugh all the way through this. Sam Soon’s loud brashness can be grating, but she also says the funniest things. The banter between the two main leads is also funny if you overlook how problematic it is (see The Bad above). Yes, some of the humor is potty humor, which usually doesn’t work for me in kdramas, but it’s done here in a way that makes it fresh and entertaining.

This kdrama is best viewed more than once so you can binge eat the delicious parts and fast forward through every stupid scene with Hee Jin, who is just simply the worst.

Not my cup of tea

Ironically considering the theme and "plot" - if there's barely one - this one wasn't exactly my cup of tea. It's a cute little series/short film with barely any depth to the characters and the story itself, but with some wholesome, adorable, soft sapphic moments that make you continue watching and it served its purpose. You can tell it's a low budget project meant to be a short film and considering all of that I feel like they did what they could and the results were good considering how little they had to make it happen. Overall, I don't regret watching it, even though it's definitely not getting in my list of favorite GLs.
