Wow! It should win the 'WORST DRAMA IN "2024" award!!!
I think that only " The School Nurse Files" and "The Witch's Diner" were the ugliest drama that I saw togheter with this one.The drama is super overdramatic, exaggerated reactions. OST composed of only two tracks played an infinite number of times over the course of 8 episodes. Characters without personalities. Rising scenes that have no logical thread and it is never explained when they happen (2, 5 years ago, present, future). Nothing is understood. At the end of the drama things become clearer, but the narrative is aberrant. Too bad for the cast. Excellent actors but also confused about their characters. Don't waste your time looking at it.

It's something different and new
So yeah I finished watching the drama just now and hereis my review fresh out of the oven!!!This drama is definitely something new from the usual kdrama trope touching sensitive topics and what impressed me the most the ML definitely shattered all the hailed toxic masculinity he shows his weakness his emotions openly and that is not something kdramas show it is always the ML saving the damsel in distress but here oh mahn the FL is this strong woman who indeed saves the ML. The love story of our ju ju couple is simple and beautiful. No unwanted dramas and twists and turns, they solve their issues like matured couples and there is no cringe aigooo moments. They are one of the veryfew green flag couple's who support and rooot for each other.
The side stories of the supporting characters were also sweet and short and did not bore me. The story was also nice and simple a good slice of life story I liked it. The cast also gave a good performance.
So if you are in for a good slice of life feel good drama brewing love is a good one.

Consistent and Lovely
Cannot really review this drama from a objective point of view, but for sure I love this drama because of:1. It retains chinese culture (brocade, silk) and eastern style wisdoms, Beautiful.
2. I love the main lead actors TSY and ZYC (oh, this is so biased, lol).
3. Ji Yingying and Yang Jinglan both characters in this drama are very good, can be said emotionally stable, not trying to be cute, spoiled or domineering, just be themselves while also considering others.
4. The highlight of the story is easy to predict, but some details are interesting enough to watch, enjoyable.
I mean, this is not the elaborate story of Ming Lan or Nirvana In Fire... come on.
5. So far (ep 23) I think it's safe to watch all ages (there are killing scenes but not sadist or brutal, and kissing/romance scenes also so far still ... safe.).
6. Novel version is good, happy ending.
The only minus is no OST of ZYC and TSY singing together while we know both could sing ...

4, sell her dyed silks to all over the world
YJL: (male lead)
- High martial skils, love JYY as she is.
1. Justice for his master that had been killed by corrupted officials

Other villains:
1. very corrupted offiicials Niu Jin
2. psycho ex-lover Zhao Xiuyuan
3. a-bit-good-but-quite-evil Prince Bai from enemy state.
Conclusions:
I have no complaints so far, because this drama is enjoyable, the judgements made by the main leads to overcome situations are all OK, pretty much a good example for all.

Second lead better
I wanted the second lead (Offroad) and the main lead to be together. They had more chemistry and actually a better storyline. Also, you could understand why they would be together whereas the two main leads never got a clear picture of why they even liked each other. Overall, it was good not great. I did like some of the other characters but mostly I felt like a lot of it was just fill in.Was this review helpful to you?
please don't use logic
if you forget all sense of logic, sensibility and realistically how a situation can be handled, this drama will be okay. dont use brain. its so frustrating, annoying and laughable if you start trying to solve their obstacles and then see how they're using the worst possible way to solvebut lol besides that the characters are okay. everyone is too angry all the time but that's okay, mostly teenagers are at play. it didnt really feel that realistic or believable in the setting they put but it's interesting still. if you don't use brain you'll enjoy. let them solve things badly and just enjoy the show at face value then it's easy

Loved!
From the first episode, I was a little skeptical... but wow! I really loved this show. Everything about it was just so good. All of the main characters were so likable. It was a pretty funny show, too; it genuinely made me laugh. And I loved the main characters together! They had such cute moments and great chemistry; I think they did awesome together. I like that there's not too much to this show; it's not so crazy; it's a little more laid back and innocent, a perfect rom-com. Although I like the storyline, not every Kdrama needs a murder mystery. So that's what made this drama refreshing, along with other things. I've seen Park Min Young in a few things now, and I just love her acting; she always does so well. I am definitely going to watch more stuff with her.Overall, I loved this show, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes romcoms.

A Beautiful Mind, a drama that mixes inspiration, medicine and romance
A Beautiful Mind is a drama that I like. Indeed, this drama is loosely inspired by Mary Shelley's very famous novel Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus. Before talking about the characters, I would first like to talk about the inspiration for Frankenstein. First of all, when we say Frankenstein, we always think of a creature with a cylindrical head, a cylindrical morphology, a very thick forehead, bolts in the neck and a body covered in stitches. However, in the drama, this is not the case at all and it is completely redesigned. However, it is a shame that over the episodes they turn towards an excessive romance, embodied by the duo Young Oh and Jin Seong, played by Jang Hyeok and Park So Dam. I still recognize that the actor Jang Hyeok plays his role very well. Otherwise, I got attached to the other character, namely Kim Min Jae (Park Se Young). In terms of the OST, they correspond well to the romantic atmosphere of the drama. In short, I'm disappointed because with less romance, the drama would have been much better to follow. Was this review helpful to you?
Pure Bliss!!!
I made the dire mistake of deciding to check out just the beginning of this drama late at night on a work night. I did not sleep and had to stumble through presentations and meetings like a zombie today but still coming here to write a review because I loved it.Honestly I've watched so many great dramas in the last few weeks (I Hear The Sunspot, Bad Buddy and now this) that I think I have to take a break to reset lest they blur together in my head. But this drama was pure enjoyment from start to finish. I loved the sci-fi/fantasy aspects of it, the learning to accept love and love yourself message and the wonderful actors. It was one of the rare dramas where I enjoyed all the side characters as well as the leads. It starts out seemingly cute and fluffy with the two leads having an age gap that makes you wonder whether their relationship will really take off. Just past the halfway mark it takes a turn and becomes darker, sadder but never 'traumatic in the K-trauma' sense. But the ending is a sweet reward which celebrates friendship and self-love and second chances.
Yes cheesy as hell but it is the good stuff, melted gruyere on a bowl of French onion soup yumminess. I don't recommend staying up all night on a work night (I did feel some regret during my harrowing day) so if you are the type to get caught up in a drama and binge watch then plan your start time/day accordingly. You have been warned, you will want to binge.

Rooftop Prince, a drama that will make you laugh with its crazy situations!
Rooftop Prince is a very successful drama. The plot is very well developed, especially why the four protagonists find themselves teleported to a world they don't know. Concerning the teleported characters, knowing nothing about the modern world, they will have to adapt to this new life, helped by Park Ha. It is through this adaptation that each situation is extremely funny and moving at the end, although sometimes uncomfortable. The acting of these characters is very well played even if there are some scenes that are overplayed. Otherwise, I also got attached to the other character, namely Becky (Guzal Tursunova), except Se Na (Jeong Yu Mi), who is unbearable at the beginning of the drama but who improves later. I much prefer her ancestor, Princess Hwa Yong. In terms of the OST, it corresponds very well to the comic atmosphere of the drama. In short, it is a very good drama that is very offbeat! Was this review helpful to you?
A Wholesome watch
sometimes we need something very simple to watch without any complicated storyit is so heartwarming and beautiful ..you feel the characters..the efforts they are putting in their life we can feel all that
There is not much happening in the story everyone has their own struggle but they come out of that with the help of eachother..this makes us feel that people in our life are very important...
This shows that teamwork can make our life easier..This also tells us that its okay to prioritise ourself

Beautiful cinematography with solid acting!
Ready to review. Finished it last weekend.Coming from me (not a Linyi and Shenyue's fan).
They both served. The chemistry and micro expressions 🤌🏻. I meant to portray sadness and anger without tears is very difficult, I suppose.
The premise is great. But, but but...in 20ish episodes I guess they dragged the story too much. And I saw their relationship progression is quite weird, it gets back on track after 27th episode (partly bcs I am looking for steamy scenes but they got none-"you are welcome" is my response if you are like me).
The second couple story is also great. Realistic approach. To handle their own self and problem, "If we meet again in the end of this road,we never know what's going to happen".
Hats off, to the aesthetic scenes also. This urban drama deserves recognition for its cinematography. The lighting, the shoot, transition, rawness...everything. Simply saying, I am in love.
And, because the drama is so beautiful, they give a beautiful ending too. No unnecessary life after wedding or the moment they married.
They ended it just with a kiss. And it was enough.

It Feel Like Home
This is such a wonderfully refreshing series to watch. Just sit back and enjoy. No need to think. Just relax. Yet, it tells a story of such fortitude that is so subtle that it might be missed. But it is there, nonetheless. It is also not in any way a BL. Nor is it even a bromance. By contrast, it is a story of friendship and family. It is a nice change of pace to watch a series where it is just pure fun to watch. There is no hint of any romance in this series except in a playful manner and bantering about. All of the series connections were with the ‘ghosts’. So go ahead, sit down and treat yourself to being completely entertained and laugh more than once with and at these characters. It is that kind of a series! Was this review helpful to you?

Just watch it! Sweet AND spicy ?
So refreshing! No annoying trope at all. The ML has been nothing but the sweetest, caring, unconditionally loving. BUT Don’t let that fool you coz THIS GUY CAN BE SUCH A FLIRT and a tease hehe. I was surprised to see the intimacy developing quite well after they became a couple (for a youth romance in short dramas). It felt just right, so refreshing from all the “jump right to ONS” as the first scene or torturing ones. While the fl was adorably shy, we had our ml gradually getting her comfortable and used to their physical intimacy. Oh and he would take every opportunity of passionate moments with her 😉Was this review helpful to you?

Boring and ordinary
I saw this on Netflix and the teaser got me interested. The first few episodes were interesting but somehow as the story progressed it just got boring.
The writers tried to showcase the friendship and the romance within the friendship, their loyalty to each other but somehow I couldn't connect with any of it. It was all superficial and rushed.
The romance between the ML and FL as well as the 2Ls were meh. It was poorly developed. Perhaps if they added a few more longing glances and soft hand touches it might have helped, at least to strengthen the romance between the characters. Nuances of facial expressions and body languages are important to a story to capture and communicate with the audience. Unfortunately, the story lack such nuances to captivate the audience, well to me at least.
Maybe if they had developed the ML's demon side plot it would've been more interesting. Why did the ML choose to stay as a half human, hiding his demon side? Why didn't he choose his demon half as that character looked interesting?
The plot and the story didn't make sense.
I like the acting of the ML. That's one plus points for me here.
Also Cui Cui was so cute. Other than that, nothing really fantastic here.

Everything I love
This drama has exceeded my initial expectations! The details in the costumes and brocades are so delicate and beautiful. The romance between the ml and fl is so sweet. Instead of one childhood romance, there were two. Ji Ying Ying is brave, smart, clever and a born leader and business woman. She leads with wit and heart. She is so blessed with so many good friends who are willing to support her all the way. During that period of time, it is difficult for a woman to be successful in being a businesswoman. But yet, she manages it with grace and with a smile. A big thank you to the cast and everyone involved! I highly recommend this drama. It's not overboard. It's not underboard. It's just nice. And this drama shows the good and ugly side of humanity. How a person, whom you once trusted, can change from being good to being downright weird & nasty. How delulu some people can get. How some people are just out to grab the best for themselves and not bother about who they knock down or who they betray. I hope that you will enjoy this drama as much as I am enjoying it.Was this review helpful to you?
