Too raw and real to be fiction. 10/10
When the plot is this realistic and the chemistry is this good, you just have to sit back and enjoy the ride! :)If you want a slow-burn romance with a storyline that actually makes sense, you need to watch this. The chemistry and character development are on point. Watching Chen Yi and Miao Jing go from surviving trauma together to navigating real world heartbreak is too real. The beauty of this drama, it’s two broken souls being each other's only home.
I'm obsessed, can't wait for the next episodes. Song Weilong and Zhang Jingyi did a great job.
Update: Finally finished this drama and I highly recommend!

Spies by Duty, Family by Choice
Disguised Family was such a pleasant surprise. Going in, I expected a simple action-romance, but what I got was a surprisingly well-balanced drama that blended spy missions, comedy, family, and romance into an entertaining package. For a short-format drama, it never felt rushed and managed to tell a complete story while keeping me invested from beginning to end. What I appreciated most was that the drama never let the romance overshadow the actual plot. While the relationship between the leads is always present, the missions remain the main focus. Each case keeps the story moving, and the enemies are written as genuinely capable, making the action feel exciting instead of predictable. The fight scenes are well choreographed, and I especially liked the creative use of colored powder bombs instead of excessive blood during combat. It gave the action a unique visual style while keeping the tone fun and accessible.
The leads are incredibly easy to root for. The female lead is intelligent, confident, and more than capable of handling herself. She's a true girl boss without the drama constantly reminding you that she is. The male lead, on the other hand, is refreshingly simple in the best way possible. He absolutely adores his wife, supports her without hesitation, and never lets his ego get in the way. Their relationship feels like a partnership built on trust, making it one of the healthiest parts of the drama.
The heart of the series, however, is the family they create together. Watching two spies unexpectedly build a home while balancing dangerous missions gives the drama a warmth that sets it apart from many other action series. The family moments are just as enjoyable as the action, and they give the story its emotional core.
I also have to give special praise to the child actors. Every child in the drama was adorable and delivered genuinely good performances. They never felt like they were there just to be cute. They played an important role in the story and added so much charm to the family dynamic.
The supporting cast, especially the teacher, also deserves recognition, although I'll avoid spoilers because discovering these characters is part of the fun. The ending wraps up the main story satisfyingly while leaving just enough room to hope for another season. I also enjoyed the final episodes that showed how the female lead adopted her daughter and how the two leads first met. It was a nice way to complete their journey.
Of course, the drama isn't perfect, and there are a few flaws here and there, but considering its short runtime, it does an impressive job balancing action, comedy, romance, and heartfelt family moments. *Disguised Family* feels fresh, entertaining, and surprisingly unique. If you're looking for a hidden gem that offers more than just romance, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Once upon a time, inside a Christmas snow globe with a haunted house in it, lived Kim Hae Jun and Han Jae Hun. In their chaotic, totally nonsensical world, they spend their time professing their insane love for each other. Hae Jun, cursed by the Wicked Witch of the West, can’t open his mouth, not even to kiss or eat. Jae Hun is patient and goes all in, hoping that one day the curse can be broken. However, on the magical night celebrating Christmas and New Year's, a sneaky figure is spotted creeping up the stairs looking incredibly suspicious. Could it be the Grinch? Could it be the vengeful ghost who unlocked Hae Jun's handcuffs while he desperately searched for the keys? The same ghost making objects move and cutting the lights right as they were about to consummate their love? Or could it be Su Hyeok? Oh, what a cruel fate (season three, maybe?) awaits our young heroes!
I know, I know, I should be spending my time watching better shows, but my curiosity got the best of me. Unfortunately, the series still struggles with the same issues as the first season, though they did at least try to create a plot this time. Knowing what to expect, I actually had a pretty good time laughing at the ridiculous scenes and making up wild storylines in my head. The finale had a little touch of cuteness and a massive overkill of fake snow!

Unique concept
I had waited for like 2 years for this dramaI liked the unique concept of the series. It was fun to watch Sun and his mischief.
It was so emotional to see how much Solar had gone through. Perth did a great job in doing the role of Pobmek. How he was such an understanding partner to Solar
Seeing them get through this together was so heartwarming. When Solar healed at last, i couldn't help but miss Sun, i could cry.
This series was very nice

Set the bar very high
Kinda forgot to leave a review after watching it. It's been months now and you know what! This drama still remains at the top for meI'm still attached as ever to this drama. If I'll have to write the parts that i liked, I'll have to write the whole plot here.
Ziyu and Tian did a splendid job, they deserve all the love and hype. The second couple were so so good, Chengyu being a green forest damn!!!
It was heartbreaking watching their breakup era, and the misunderstandings, i cried real tears. The director did a great job in portraying the characters.
This drama has set the bar so high, it's tough to bring it down. Must definitely watch this drama.
The ost and instrumentals have my whole heart. I could listen them all the time

I’ll keep it short (I love Soo Hyun)
I’m unsure how to rate this show. The romance itself was too basic and boring for my taste but the plot was intriguing and I liked the twists and turns (though debatable if they even made sense, still, it kept me watching).Daon was boring. He was the typical audience self-insert, blank paper, passive, spineless character that 3 guys fell madly in love with for no reason. His main LI was a puppy-dog-eyed stereotype that chased him with a smile regardless of anything.
If that was all there was to the show I wouldn’t have given it more that 5 starts but the other two characters really kept me on a leash! Psycho-Jaemin definitely added some much needed spice to the bland romance. Was he a stereotypical psycho? Maybe…but the twists did make him interesting even though I think that they could’ve dived into his psychology a little more.
Now on to my favorite boy, the star of the show - Soo Hyun! He was the main reason I was glued to the screen. He was the only character that felt real bc he was flawed, uncomfortable, dumb and very, very human. He had issues, serious ones but also the most potential for character development. He was confused and desperate and unfortunately made every mistake he could‘ve possibly made but at the end of the show he did come to the right conclusion. He didn’t get the guy but he did grow by realising that the things he had been doing weren’t good and apologized for everything.
It makes me wonder what could‘ve been if Soo Hyun was the main LI instead of Seon Hyeon. How his character development would‘ve been handled and how he and Daon would‘ve tried to mend their wounds. I’m clearly biased though. I love complicated character relationships and I love pining, redemptions acts and second chance romances. I also find Soo Hyun the most interesting character in the show.

Too good. Just too good
This series exceeded by expectations. I loved every bit of the story. Each and every actor played their roles so well. Hats off to Net and JJ. Their chemistry was over the top. They were so sweet, i could get diabetes
I couldn't believe how funny the series was, and i loved the character development of Nakhun. He became so wise.
It was my first time watching Latte and Kim, and Kim looked so beautiful and gorgeous.
The whole plot had me from starting till end. The last episode was so satisfying to watch, and also had so much emotions for me.
Overall, this series deserves the best, you must definitely watch it

It was funny, but a bit over the top
So, I've watched two BossNoeul dramas and I really did not expect the third one to be a comedy. When I heard that Boss and Noeul were going to be in another drama I got really excited that I put it on my watch list, but when the pilot trailer came out, I was actually a bit sceptical about this drama. Then, after days and days of waiting, the first episode came out and I actually loved it! Then over those past couple of weeks, more episodes got released and although it was funny, the comedy started to get a bit over the top. But that is probably why it's a comedy! Anyways, my overall rating for this had to be 8.5 stars only because the rewatch value for this is kind of low, but Boss and Noeul did very well on this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
They should have stopped in time
I liked the concept, and the treatment. The first 18/19 episodes were fine (some flaws here and there but generally decent), and then it went downhill. The romcom started wanting to turn into a thriller for no reason and it just became weird. Could have been a solid 8.5, and even the rating of 7 is generous. Was this review helpful to you?
Had so much expectations, was literally waiting, counting days for this drama but it didnt deliverd what it was supposed to , angst, grovelling, longing, emotionally captivating.
had rushed falling in love no midway, felt like forced. it was going there but suddenly they are in love which was rushed.
transition from school going to adult was rushed didnot have development,
they had like 29 episode drama, so much time to develop properly but....
For me The First Frost is the gold standard in this type of genre/story.... so this NES was lacking in so much...

Every Genre in One Drama
Yes the drama Love For You has almost every genre that you need to get seated for watching. Childhood Sweethearts, Enemies to Lovers, Step Brother- Sister, Second Chance, Office Romance, Mafia Vibes, etc. I'm sure it'll get you hooked from the first episode. Though some parts can be bore but still you won't skip it (just it change it too 2x speed). The acting and casting is so well that the chemistry blows from the first episode itslef. We can see a new character for Song Weilong. He is a walking, running, fighting, GREEN FOREST. Zhang Jingyi has very pure but strong character. The intelligence and courage is what makes her character worth an applauseWas this review helpful to you?

Xiao Fang is highly recommended
It is a must watch. Xiao Fang is not your typical series. Its nice to watch something which does not evolve around revenge, crime and incestuous relationships. The actors are all good.Plus the scenery. Its really a fresh breath of air. The series focused on how a choice can affect your life. Xiao Fang is so brave to break barriers. She is absolutely fearless. Her grandmother is my favorite. She is a grounded person.

My Brain Had a Civil War Watching This (And Somehow Both Sides Won)
Full transparency: I was initially planning not to watch this drama because of the decision to cast a minor as the FL. That was my biggest hesitation. However, after thinking about it more, I decided to give it a chance because I’ve followed HMH and Aimi for years and have always respected their professionalism and dedication to their work. And I’m genuinely happy I did.
Because purely as a drama? This is really well done so far.
The visuals are gorgeous, the styling is excellent, the characters are memorable, and the story actually moves. There is no endless waiting around for something to happen — things happen, conflicts develop, characters grow, and the pacing keeps you engaged.
The biggest surprise for me was how much fun I’m having watching the leads together. Their bickering is hilarious, their dynamic feels natural, and their relationship is built on something more than just romance. They become people who trust, admire, and understand each other.
And honestly, I appreciate that.
Romance does not always need to be portrayed through physical intimacy. Sometimes the strongest part of a relationship is the emotional connection, the friendship, the respect, and the feeling that two people genuinely enjoy being around each other.
The ML is probably my favorite character. At first glance, he seems like someone who would scare everyone in the room without even trying. But underneath that intimidating image, he is actually incredibly kind. What makes him even more interesting is that he doesn’t really seek recognition for his good actions. He almost assumes people will never understand his side anyway, which is honestly a little sad.
The FL is also such a fun character. The mischievous, chaotic engineer mechanic girl energy is absolutely perfect. She brings so much life into every scene, and I have laughed so much because of her.
Also, the ML’s “harem” deserves appreciation. The fact that he has this whole group of loyal, dramatic, completely non-romantic “wives” had me crying. The wholesome chaos of that group is genuinely one of the best parts of the drama. 😂
So yes, my main personality is thriving. I am entertained. I am invested. I am enjoying this journey.
Unfortunately, my overthinking brain refuses to leave me alone.
Every time we get romantic tension, every time the ML starts yearning, my internal warning system activates like a security alarm in 4K.
And I hate admitting it, but those moments are where I struggle the most. Not because of the acting or the characters, but because the situation surrounding the drama keeps coming back into my mind.
I’m only on episode 14, and the leads haven’t even reached that stage yet. Honestly, I have no idea how my brain is going to handle the later episodes. 😭
At the end of the day, the production choices have already been made. I know the drama will not include explicit romantic content, and I understand why many people have decided not to watch because of this issue. I completely respect that choice.
At the same time, I also cannot deny that the drama itself is enjoyable and that the cast and crew clearly created something with a lot of effort and care.
My biggest hope is that this controversy does not unfairly impact the cast, especially HMH, who has received backlash over a situation he had no control over.
So here I am:
Enjoying the story.
Laughing at the chaos.
Loving the characters.
While my brain sits in the corner holding an emergency ethics meeting.
A truly confusing viewing experience. 😂 My brain right now:
- Prosecutor: “Objection! This casting choice!”
- Defense attorney: “Counterpoint! The drama itself is well made!”
- Judge: “Both arguments are valid. Court is adjourned until episode 28.”
Currently standing in the middle of the battlefield with a tiny flag, reporting live. Final conclusions will be issued after the remaining episodes. 💀
✨UPDATE ✨
Now that I’ve finished the drama, I can say that it really was a wonderful drama from beginning to end. The pacing remained strong, the story kept moving, and I genuinely enjoyed the entire journey. The characters were memorable, the plot stayed engaging, and I never felt like the drama was dragging.
I also really enjoyed watching the leads' relationship develop. They support each other, trust each other, and ultimately become very much ride-or-die for one another. Both are great characters individually, and I liked that their relationship was built around mutual support and respect rather than unnecessary misunderstandings. And yes, we got a happy, perfect ending for my leads, which I deeply appreciate. 😂
Now, all of that being said...
I still couldn't completely unsee the fact that the FL was a minor. I tried. 😂 But that initial concern never fully went away for me. HMH, as usual, was amazing, and Aimi was wonderful as well. I really loved her in this role, and I will most definitely support both of them in their future projects.
For me, Aimi still looks very much like a child next to HMH. HMH already looks young for his age, but the age difference was still very noticeable to me, so I couldn't entirely separate the story from the circumstances surrounding the casting.
I do think the drama handled the romance appropriately. There was nothing inappropriate in the way their relationship was portrayed, and as a couple, they are actually very green-flag. They support and respect each other, genuinely want the best for one another, and become each other's biggest allies - which I thought was really lovely.
So, ultimately, my feelings remain complicated. I still have reservations about the casting choice, but I can't deny that the drama itself was genuinely well made and that I had a great time watching it.
Very enjoyable. Very well made. Very complicated viewing experience. And ultimately, I'm glad I watched it.😂
