GAP The Series is The Root of Thai GL Industry!!!
For people like us, GAP The Series was likea ray of light we found while wandering through
a deep, dark forest.✨
Before 2022, even though GL existed, it wasn't
as widespread as BL. Even most of the GL actresses
who are highly famous right now were just playing
supporting roles in BL and straight series back
then. Production companies only wanted to focus
their efforts on making BLs and neglected GLs with
the mindset that they would just result in financial
losses.😌
However, when GAP The Series was released in
late 2022, it changed everything. The new GL
couple, FreenBecky, along with GAP, managed
to surpass all the BLs out there and dominated
everything from the local to the global stage.👑
For the newer GL fans who came later, GAP might
not be a perfect series. But for those of us who have
loved FreenBecky and GAP since Day 1, it is an
absolutely perfect series.💞
GAP is the core heart of everyone who loves FreenBecky.🌷🤍🌹

A Layered Story
Unpopular opinion: I actually enjoyed being confused as heck and not knowing what was happening next 😆✅ likes:
- this is my first introduction to all these actors, plus i haven't been in the cdrama scene in a long time, so the chemistry and acting between the main 4 was enjoyable to watch
- the first, middle, up to arc before the final worked for me
- the OSTs, the makeup, the costumes, the cinematography was absolutely beautiful
- i loved the aesthetic and lore of the Formless Moon Sect
- i liked how the characters had more layers to them, Veil of Shadows is fitting for a title because you're literally trying to figure out the characters' true motivations
- the symbolism for JiLu and WuWu; and how it gets incorporated often throughout the show
- JiLu story 😭 iykyk
❎what didn't work:
- i loved WuWu couple but around the final arc, it really did feel like their story wasn't given proper attention that was due
- wanted a more proper resolution from Wu Shiguang's character arc especially towards the end
- wanted the main cast to actually have a proper interaction towards the end.
- the last arc was a bit lacking, it felt a bit rushed and underdeveloped. maybe there could have been more episodes to explore the others so the ending could come together nicely. i feel like it became more Ji Ling-centered, not complaining but i wish it had a more rounded final arc
- yuan wuhuo's motivation in the last arc did not make sense, made more sense if he was influenced by jiu ying
- the timing of some of the events, especially the drought. if Han Ba spoke ages ago, wouldn't have Luo'an be a lot worse at the start of the story (although it was alluded to)
- the sisters 🦊
🌸overall thoughts:
i was tossing between 8.5-9.0 but honestly, despite some of the plot inconsistencies and the final arc, i did enjoy it and the stories stayed with me
would recommend if you like:
- the actors already
- a good romance
- aesthetic
- the storyline (yes i know, the final arc was a bit lacking but i still feel like the stories were quite interesting)

A chaotic romance that flies high on charm, with a spiritual script going little off-balance
I started watching Head Over Heels expecting a fun, easy watch, and it definitely delivered, even if it got a bit messy toward the end. The story hooks you right away. We follow Seong-ah, a bright high schooler who doubles as a badass shaman at night. She ends up crossing paths with Gyeon-woo, a brooding, incredibly unlucky guy who is basically a magnet for evil spirits. Once Seong-ah realizes she’s the only "human amulet" who can keep him alive, the chaos begins. The first half of the drama is easily a 8/10. The chemistry between the leads is amazing, I loved watching the grumpy-meets-sunshine dynamic play out, and Cho Yi-hyun is perfect as the fierce yet slightly clueless shaman. It’s packed with romance, ghosts, high school sports, and great friendships.
But things change in the second half, which felt more like a 6/10. A chaotic spirit named Bong-su possesses Gyeon-woo's body. Now, Choo Young-woo does a hilarious job playing this wild spirit, but the show gets so distracted by his arcade-playing, comedic antics that it completely forgets about Gyeon-woo's actual life-or-death curse. It suddenly felt like two different dramas jammed together. The ending felt rushed too, with the writers dumping random backstories and plot points on us just to wrap things up. The side characters unfortunately got pushed to the background because of this.
Still, despite the bumpy pacing, it’s a solid 7/10 for me. It’s funny, charming, and highly addictive. It’s not a perfect masterpiece, but if you’re looking for a pure, entertaining escape that will keep you glued to your screen, you’ll definitely enjoy this ride.

Unexpected
This is a historic series both in the sense that it is set in the way past and has FreenBecky. To say at the start, I was not excited to watch it at all.I forced myself to watch it and I am very glad I did. I was not interested to watch as I don't really watch past documentaries but I saw the "punishment" reaction video (If you haven't watched that, you're really missing out haha) and I was sucked in.
Anin is so strong, but even more stronger is her love for Pin. The longing, yearning is lovely to see. This is really a slow series in the sense it takes its time but the end result is always beautiful as it is with Freen Becky.
If anything I would say to others is that watch it slow, give it time and it'll reel you in. AninPin have crazy love towards each other, they always show their love. The ending is something I didn't expect. Some people still don't accept lesbians even now and this was set in the way past.
I loved their ending, their family understood and they could be with each other.

Not you typical GL series!
The Air is not your typical GL series. It has slow burn romance but the actresses can still make you feel butterflies with how they look at each other. Unlike other LGBTQ+ series which the common issue is about loving the same gender, here in The Air is all about a royalty loving a commoner. It has action packed scenes as well as romance, comedy and drama, it will make you feel different emotions! Was this review helpful to you?
The Loyal Pin is The Best Period GL Drama all Time !!!
The Loyal Pin is the best GL drama seriesI have ever watched so far.👑🔥
FreenBecky's perfectly matched acting
skills along with the high budget made this
series incredibly worth watching.
The storyline is set around the 1950s-1960s
era, and although people who only prefer
modern settings might not be into it, anyone
who can feel and understand the message
and the quality that The Loyal Pin aims to
deliver will definitely love it.
Up to this day, The Loyal Pin remains
one of the best GL projects ever done by
the Queens of Thai GL: FreenBecky.🌷🤍🌹

A Poetic and Visual Masterpiece!
The Loyal Pin is an absolute masterpiece and easily one of the most beautiful Thai GL series ever made. Freen and Becky give an elite-tier performance that shows incredible growth in their acting. Becky is brilliant as the confident and headstrong Princess Anin, while Freen does an amazing job as Lady Pin, using subtle glances and expressions to show deep emotion and love. Their chemistry is pure magic, making the transition from childhood friends to a deep, passionate romance feel incredibly real and moving. On top of the acting, the show is visually stunning—the 1950s costumes, royal palaces, and traditional Thai culture look like a high-budget movie. It is a breathtaking, emotional, and perfect historical romance that deserves a flawless 10/10!Was this review helpful to you?

A Rollercoaster of Emotions!
At first, I thought this kdrama was going to be a cute slice-of-life kind of story, but wow, did it amaze me. I felt like every episode had something new, something mind-boggling, and I experienced a range of emotions while watching this K-drama. It was so gut-wrenching and sad that I cried so much... But I loved every part of it!Although I do not have Asperger's syndrome, I felt like I had a very good idea of what it looked like by the end of it. The actor playing Geu-ru hands down portrayed and did his role so well and phenomenally at that. The small details and micro expressions really allow you to understand how someone with this kind of disorder acts, and how he shows the little emotions he's feeling through his very, very small facial movements is impressive in itself.
Additionally, the relationships shown between father and son, alongside other familial (and maybe romantic ones) connections, had me bawling my eyes out. The way his father's death didn't hit me at first would soon haunt me. I felt like the build-up with their relationship was done so well, and it had me so devastated that someone so young lost both his parents at 20. The last episode was so well written, and I loved how it showed a message of someone still being there even if you couldn't see them. I also thought it was so sad how it had symbolized the many moments of Geu-ru hugging his 'dad' through his clothes, trees, and his ashes.
I wish there were a season two, but I haven't seen any news on it yet. It seemed like it left off on a cliffhanger, and the fact that the MC actually looked at someone in the eyes! That part kind of shocked me, and I'm wondering if the two of them would have some kind of relationship, but sadly, I guess we will never know...
This kdrama was truly so well directed and written, and if anybody would recommend me more like this one, I would sure like that! I am open to any suggestions :)

An Absolute Masterpiece for FreenBecky!
The Air a perfect 10/10 because it is an amazing and exciting show! Freen and Becky have the best chemistry ever, and their connection makes every scene so special. Freen is perfect as Inspector Lom, playing a cool, playful, and protective bodyguard. Becky is also incredible because she shows off her amazing acting by playing two different roles—Princess Blew and Helena—giving both characters so much depth and emotion. I love that the story focuses entirely on their action-packed adventure and how they solve their own problems together on their own terms. With beautiful scenery and a thrilling storyline, this show is a true masterpiece that I will watch over and over again! Was this review helpful to you?

The Bodyguard and the Princess both suit the character sooo well
The Air: 4 Elements has honestly made me even more excited to see Freen and Becky together again. Every project they do somehow feels different, and that’s one of the reasons I admire them so much. They always bring something new to their characters while still having that same incredible chemistry that made so many people fall in love with them in the first place.Even before it’s fully out, you can already tell how much effort has gone into this project. The visuals look stunning, the production quality is amazing, and every teaser makes me even more excited for what’s coming. It feels like a series that’s been made with so much care and attention to detail, and I can’t wait to experience the full story.
Freen and Becky continue to prove why they’re one of my favorite acting duos. Their chemistry is effortless, and they have this unique way of making every interaction feel genuine and emotional. Whether they’re making you laugh with a simple conversation or breaking your heart with an emotional scene, they always make you feel completely invested. That’s something not every pair of actors can do.
I also love how they keep challenging themselves with different roles instead of repeating the same characters. It shows how talented and dedicated they are as actresses. Every new project lets them grow, and it’s so exciting to watch their journey and see them become even better with every performance.
I truly believe The Air: 4 Elements has the potential to become another unforgettable series. With such a talented cast, beautiful production, and Freen and Becky’s amazing performances, I know it’s going to be something special. I’ll always support them because they put so much passion into everything they do, and they deserve all the success and love they receive. I can’t wait to watch this story unfold, and I already know it’s going to be another series I’ll treasure for a long time.

Best thing your eyes will see
The Loyal Pin is, without a doubt, my favorite story of all time. I’ve watched a lot of series, but nothing has ever made me feel the way this one does. To me, it’s a complete masterpiece, and I genuinely think it deserves so much more recognition than it gets. I wish more people would give it a chance because it’s one of those stories that stays with you long after you’ve finished it.I’ve honestly fallen in love with everything about this series. The story is beautiful, emotional, and so well written. Every episode had me smiling, crying, and completely invested in the characters. It isn’t just a romance—it tells a story about love, loyalty, sacrifice, and choosing your own happiness even when life makes it difficult. Every emotion felt real, and that’s what made it so special.
One of the biggest reasons I love The Loyal Pin so much is because of the actresses. They brought their characters to life in such a natural and heartfelt way that I completely forgot I was watching a show. Their chemistry is absolutely incredible, and every scene between them feels so genuine. You can really tell how much hard work, passion, and love they put into this project. They made me laugh, cry, and feel every single emotion alongside them, and I honestly couldn’t imagine anyone else playing these roles.
I also have to appreciate how stunning the production is. The cinematography is breathtaking, the costumes are gorgeous, the soundtrack fits every scene perfectly, and every little detail was clearly made with so much care. It feels like everyone involved wanted to create something truly special, and they absolutely succeeded.
For me, The Loyal Pin is the best GL series ever made. It isn’t just my favorite GL—it has become one of my favorite stories, period. It has a special place in my heart that I don’t think any other series will ever replace. I’ll always recommend it because it deserves all the love, praise, and recognition in the world. It made me fall in love with the story, the characters, and especially the amazing actresses who made it all feel so real. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever stop talking about it.
