Weak connection with its prequel

I have just finished watching it today. I expect the plot is more interesting, but it is just about the ordinary life of a couple. I can't find the main plot.

I think the connection between this drama and its prequel (One & Only) is quite weak. If I was the author, I would have kept the portrait of Shi Yi (from One & Only) somewhere in the library of Zhou's mansion. The portrait on the paper may be worn out through time, but it can be redrawn or so. In some other costume dramas, it is possible to keep the portrait for generations. Why not in this drama? Otherwise, there should be an elder in the Zhou family who used to see the painting and then recognised Shi Yi immediately after seeing her. This way is more interesting...

Anyway, the acting is good. In this drama, the ML is somehow funny but caring.

WHAT A TRAGIC AND SAD DRAMA. I'M SPEECHLESS.

This drama is unbelievably sad. I was not ready for the ending and how things played out. I usually can predict how things might go and I got some things right, and some things completely shook me.

I haven't cried so much over a show since Empress Ki or Prince of Lan Ling. Those shows made me avoid tragic stories for YEARS. And yet here I am again, but there are so many good reasons why this show was not a waste of time.

(1) THE OST is stunning. Whoever sings the end credits has the most haunting voice ever and I could hum along to that melody for weeks. It's so beautiful and the soundtracks used were well-timed throughout the show.

(2) THE CINEMATOGRAPHY & FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY is 10/10. 100% some of the best battle choreography I've seen. The rhythm of the fights along with the perfectly planned shots and angles for each moment of the battle made it so easy to follow who was getting stabbed and who was doing the stabbing.

(3) THE ACTING. I was so hesitant about the male lead for 50% of the show for personal reasons, but by the end, like most of the characters in the show, I also fell for him too and believed that he truly was a hero. Bai Lu can do absolutely no wrong. I only saw her in Love is Sweet which is a contemporary drama, but I'm so impressed by how natural and subtle her facial expressions are. As an editor, it would be a dream to edit an actor whose emotions are so subtle and hidden in small actions. It makes a story easier to tell.

(4) The COSTUMES were obviously gorgeous. Shiyi wore blue 99% of the time throughout the entire show, until the end where she wore red. I loved the black dragon outfit for the Emperor's enthronement and the beautiful white outfits for the General/ML.

(5) THE MESSAGE is so deep and I'll be honest, it's not a new concept in the historical drama category. Two princes - one prince is desperate to have the love of people, Shiyi and fate and seeks it through evil. The other prince doesn't care to have the love of anybody, not even fate, and lives righteously. In the end, it's the latter prince who ends up with Shiyi's, the people and even fate's (shout out to the sequel) love.

(6) THERE'S A SEQUEL SO EVERYONE CALM DOWN WE'RE GETTING A HAPPY ENDING. I hope. I shall find out.

A more dangerous side of Bangkok...

To be honest, this is my first time watching a road rescue service series. So I get to learn about what this job is all about. I feel the story starts a bit slow in the beginning, but after the first and two episodes, the story is pacing well. The script is good, and the lines are delivered well. I have no comment on the acting because all cast have given their best, and it shows. And chemistry...awww I am liking the chemistry between Weir and Aom so much!!! I wish they had another romantic drama together. But what I like the most about this series is the production value. OMG maybe I am more of a visual arts person, and I pay a lot of attention to the details, and let me say this, the production is top-notch. The transitions and color grading are absolutely flawless, so good job to the production team!

Sweet and Real Story

I am from the country side in PH and living in the city now. This lakorn made me feel at home. I miss my home and can't go back due to travel restrictions brought by COVID-19. This is my first time watching Bow and I'm hooked. At first, I'm so annoyed with Kiew but learnt to love him as the story goes. I really enjoyed the musical and the way Chompoo loves helping the community. Also, I find it funny how she talks with the gecko. Her facial expressions are too cute.

This is a must watch story. You can learn a lot of things. You will appreciate love, friendship, being a good citizen, honoring your parents, helping each other and many more.

Good but lengthy drama

Imo, this drama was far too lengthy for my liking. Like 24 episodes that are each over 1 hour is a bit overwhelming.

Story: The main two are extremely good at acting, Chaekyung and Shin take a while to envelope an actual relationship but midway you can how their love blossoms. I think the sweet times they have together are especially adorable! The story is interesting because it's about a royal family in South Korea.

Acting: Though there are some characters who I wasn't a fan of, I enjoyed the rest of the cast and everyone really made their acting realistic.

Music: Of course we're all familiar with 'Perhaps Love', if not, it's the best ost to ever exist, and one I will always tune in to listen to it. The other songs were also nice.

Rewatch Value: eh, probably not. This drama is too long. Even though I enjoyed it, I would not watch it again. I would probably just watch a scene or two on YouTube.

Overall, I'd give it a solid 8. But I'd definitely give it a try. It's known as one of the best nostalgic drama's in all K-dramas.
Extra: If you enjoyed Yoon Eunhye in this drama, then I recommend 'Coffee Prince', it's my all time favourite drama and the kiss scenes are to die for!! Eunhye has a really good role in the drama and Gongyoo is in it too :)

Start is good but later dragged too much

The story starts off with something good, especially the female lead Xia Qian who's strong headed and runs her own company...
Male lead Sheng Zhening is the General Manager of Evergreen..

Unlike other dramas, luckily the Female Lead does not become male lead's assistant,
Yes she has business with him and his company b tout that's all professional..

Now the 2nd Lead couple's story was common but many can like it, unfortunately it started becoming too boring as days passed by..

Few characters are way too predictable and boring, example, Male lead's sis Ning Meng and her husband..

The story looked Promising in the beginning but later it's too predictable..

Giving a thought whether to continue or just drop the drama here itself

THE CELLS <33333

I wasn't planning on writing a review until I finished this drama, but it just gets better every episode!

After watching the first episode I found it too be a bit lame with the animated cells and thought this drama wouldn't be for me... BUT IT IS AMAZING. It's really a feel-good romantic comedy drama, but of course I am sensing some deeper more dramatic scenes happening in the future. Though Yumi and Woong are super adorable, it's their cells that steal the show!!

I really like how the cells have their own adventures happening 'inside' of their human and though it's a bit goofy I think it really balances out what happens in the real world. When Yumi's cell 'lust' entered the screen I just couldn't stop laughing! It was really funny and I just love the way the drama jumps from drama to animation.

I definitely recommend this drama, can't wait for the future episodes!

This is a heavy drama, a real good one
What bothered me much and made me deduct from the rate that I didn't find the FL fits the role
Older than both ML' s and it was extremely obvious while she supposed to be younger
No chemistry between her and both male leads
She wasn't a light character in my opinion
Although she was a good actress
But I couldn't feel her in this role
that's what I felt

Except that, the drama was really amazing
Well connected events for both stories
Both stories were going parallel to each other
There were character development

they didnt left any event during the whole drama witout being explained,
As they did most of the time, dropping events without being explained
No flaws
Strong plot

I was so sad only for the end of 1930 story
It broke my heart
I was shocked when I found shin yool betrayed hwi young and his country
I couldn't hold myself
I found myself spitting on him LOL

There were lots of comic scenes
The ghost was cute
Their bromance was cute also
The end of the main story were cute and satisfying

Highly recommended

A couple of great, okay, and bad all mixed in with each other

"Til Death Do Us Part", is, for the most part, a decent mini-series that shows different types of love and how people react to, or live with losing a loved one (more or less). Now, some of these roughly 30-minute episodes expressed this perfectly, while others were unfortunately quite the opposite. I was also a little sad that the first episode (with the time loop) was never made into a full series, as I love a great time loop drama, and it looked like something that was very interesting, and could be at least 10 episodes, not just one.

Out of the seven episodes, I would say three were in the 'great', two in the 'okay' and two in the 'bad' - that's why the overall rating here is a 7.5, nothing higher and nothing lower. Again, the acting for the most part was inspiring, alongside the OST, and again, for the most part, I really enjoyed the cinematography and editing styles, too. I'm not much of a person who can read into the whole 'secret messages it sends for viewers', but I believe I managed to pick up on a few here which is a nice thing for me to experience here, also.

Would I recommend people to watch this? Absolutely!
Will you be freaked out with some of the scenes shown? Absolutely!
Enjoy!

The only regret I have is that I can't erase my memory so I can experience this drama anew :'(.

I solemnly swear that I will try my absolute best not to wax lyrical on Xu Kai's visuals (amongst the SEA of handsome men that seem to have taken up residence within this drama.)

Before watching this drama, I had seen many high reviews of it, but put off watching it because I was still hung up on You are my Hero. I spent about a week trying to find a new drama chock full of romance and kissing scenes (because as much as I loved YAMH, I felt deprived of the kisses that could have been but ne'er were between our ML and FL!), meanwhile, this amazing drama was just sitting there, waiting for me to realize that I'd skipped over a gem! Not only did Falling into Your Smile deliver on the romance, but it also heaped the kissing scenes high up and left me feeling satisfied and content.

This is a gaming romance drama like Love o2o, Go-Go Squid and The King's Avatar (which of course is sans the romance), but dare I say it was better? Before the Yang Yang fans come at me (I'm also one btw), I'll explain why I felt that it was better. The male lead, Lu Si Cheng ( Xu Kai), had the same cold and aloof demeanour Love o2o's Xiao Nai seemed to have, but I felt that he was a lot more relatable and realistic compared to the perfect and unattainable Xiao Nai. The FL, Tong Yao (WJSN's Cheng Xiao), was also a lot more substance, and a lot less fawning and meek. She was a strong character who didn't take BS from her crush just because he was stunningly gorgeous and highly popular. I loved that she gave the male lead as much as he dished out, which was severely lacking in Lo2o and GGS (too much hero worship is never a good thing ladies!) There were many cute moments between the ML and FL and he showed a lot more emotion and was a lot more playful than XN. I also found myself a lot more invested in the characters and story of FIYS. The camaraderie between the team was so beautiful to watch and there was never a time where I felt that the team viewed Cheng as this perfect god who never made any mistakes and was always right (which is the vibe I got in Lo2o). Cheng's team shouted at him when he was wrong, and he apologised and acknowledged his faults when he had messed up. I really appreciated that and it made me fall in love with Cheng a lot more.

I HIGHLY recommend this drama, I see myself rewatching it several times in the future when I need a break from a heavy and intense drama (or just when I want a drama that gives me mushy cute feels). A bonus factor is you will get a heaping truckload of visuals from sooo many guys! As generous as the casting was when it came to visuals, I'm still in awe of the visuals king that is Xu Kai. The good Lord did NOT hold back when he was creating our Xu Kai. As much as we must admit that he's not had the best time when it comes to the headlines he's made in real life, we must definitely give him props for delivering much more than us fans could ever ask for in this drama.

I'm brand spanking new to the Xu Kai fandom, but I look forward to seeing his other dramas and hope they're just as good as this one was <3.

Starts slow. Picks up in the middle. Ends amazingly

I really really wanted to drop this drama at around the sixth episode. Usually I drop them pretty fast if the start is slow. But somehow I persisted and I am glad that I did. Even though the start was slow, something kept me going. The start was slow but it had it's charms. The male lead's unique profession, the female lead's hopeless situation and the things that connected them, all of these kept me interested. After the drama passed the half-way mark it was smooth sailing. Things started to come together and created a good and enjoyable experience with satisfying ending.
The best part of the drama for me was the acting. Every single cast did an amazing job in this drama. It was very easy to get immersed into the scenes because of the great acting.
The OST was quite good and I enjoyed the creative way they used it in some places.
Considering everything the drama was a steady watch with a very stable pacing. Ultimately it was an enjoyable experience.

Very diverse story telling

I honestly really loved this drama because of the diversity of it. Its unlike any drama I've watched. Each 2 episodes, theres a different couple instead of them switching between each couple every episode and granted, I have gotten used to that from watching dramas, it still kind of bothers me because sometimes story lines are left unfinished and also the switching back and forth between 3 or 4 couples just throws my brain off some days haha
If you like watching anthology series that semi link up together, then you should definitely watch this one. Some episodes will make you cry, some will make you laugh hysterically, some are super steamy, and some are super cute, then theres ones that will literally just make you say what IS this??? I personally love some of the tropes they did with this because they are different and I either haven't seen them done often or I've never seen them done at all in a drama.
I will say that not ALL the acting is great, but theres alot of really good actors in this one. (Kudos to Talay and Perth for breaking my heart with their performance)

Character ratings(contains spoilers from here on):

Tue & Ake: 4/10 Personally didnt enjoy their story. It seemed really forced and fast tbh and just I dunno. It wasn't for me.

Nuea & Sun: 8/10 They were incredibly adorable and I loved Nuea being such a flirty little brat and Sun being an awkward cutie. Overall I enjoyed their story, but it didnt wow me as much as it could have

Team & Mon: 6/10 Their ending was nice, but the beginning was just... meh for me. They are cute and I love the way Mon talks about Team in the other episodes after they are together. He's really adorable.

Thurs & Pae: 8/10 I love spirit dramas so this one got me. Its so cute and I just love it so much. Their dynamic was great and they were so pure and sweet.

Kaeng & Puth: 7/10 Here we go. Unpopular opinion, I kind of wish they didnt get together at the end. I really, really wanted to like them more. I did. I do like the developement. They did a great job portraying their situation in just 2 hours honestly. Its just so, so toxic. Their relationship is just so bad. Their chemistry is amazing on screen and the reason they got a 7 instead of lower is because they portrayed these characters so well and the acting was phenomenal. And I understand the storyline very well and I understand what Kaeng was going through(because I've been in a similar situation irl so I know and understand the feelings of the character). But the scene where Kaeng shows up in Puth's room and just tries to get him to have sex with him and Puth told him no and he kept going for a bit longer really just.... was a little too far for me. That being said, I did like the storyline and I love the acting in this one, but I think they are a really overhyped couple for what goes down.

Sat & Choke 7/10 Okay. I enjoy their story. I kinda wish they went a different route instead of the 13 going on 30 spin off, but to be fair, I havent seen that done in any dramas so... Other than that, I love the characters. The acting was great imo. The way Sat portrayed himself as really confused and acting a bit childish during the episodes was a great touch. I did feel bad for Choke though because he was real confused with Sat coming to see him after all those years out of the blue. I'm not surprised(or upset) that he went off with someone else at the end of the one scene. It broke my heart, but I could understand why and it made it more realistic rather than them just ending up together after Sat hurt Choke like he did and didn’t speak to him for all those years. They ended up happy in the end though so that was fine with me considering the time travel thing going on so.

Tw // death mentions Masuk, Tir, & Jia 9/10 Maybe I'm biased because I literally adore all of the actors in these episodes, but it was my favourite(I love hurt and angst as well). Lets start off with what I DIDN'T like about this one. First of all, Masuk and Jia seemed a little weird and awkward to me. I wish they had been able to show a little bit more chemisty(considering their roles in other dramas had great chemistry) with eachother in this. They seem so blah in this one. Also, as others had stated, Tir needed to move on at some point. Like why did he keep showing up in all the scenes. Lastly, I felt like it was dragging on SO long at the end. The last 10 minutes or so were TORTUROUSLY slow. They could have cut out that entire last scene of them sleeping in the bed together and left it at them having their meal with Tir and it would have been better imo. Also, damn do cinemas in Thailand catch fire like more that once a year because Masuk went through 2 fires in 2 years...... I would not be going to see movies in a cinema there tbh if thats the case....
Anyways, on to the positives. Masuk and Tir story was so, so heartbreakingly painful to watch(in a good way). Masuk just going through that pain and feeling so much guilt and Talay did a fantastic job at portraying that. They did such a great job making it seem real and making you feel that ache in your chest as you watched Masuk drag himself through life. I loved Masuk being able to see that he wouldnt have been able to save Tir even if he was there so that he would not feel as guilty for not being there. Then being able to have that moment between them and Tir telling Masuk that its okay to always love him and never forget him, but to also move on with his life and find things that make him happy as hard as it is. And I think thats really what Masuk needed was to hear that. It makes me think of like when people lose loved ones and most of the time, they wish they could talk to that loved one, once more to clear everything and Masuk got that because the universe knew that would be what he needed. I loved being able to see Talay and Perth playing a more serious role. It really shows how great their acting skills are. I prefer them as a silly cute couple, but from an acting standpoint, its refreshing to see that they could pull off such a serious and heartbreaking role and make you feel that pain.
As for Masuk and Jia as a couple, I appreciated Jia being the type of person to let Masuk come to him instead of actively persuing him. He was patient and kind and attentive and just such a sweet bean. I feel like we didn't really get a good feel for Yoon's acting which was a little upsetting(becsuse he really is a great actor), but he did good nonetheless. I kind of wish we would have been able to see their relationship grow a bit more, but alas, you can only put so much in 2 hours.
Alright. I'm done.

Anyways, its a very enjoyable series and I hope this review was helpful to anyone who needed an opinion :)

The Perfect Korean BL

I was excepting this to be some type of tragedy where one of them dies at the end or has to move far far away, but finally, a gang-related movie that's a true love story that ends in a happily ever after. Long Time No See brings on some amazing cinematography with beautiful acting and an amazing plot-driven story.

Let's dive In.

Production is beautiful. The use of lights and darks and colors in this was amazing. The overall aesthetic was captivating and drew you into the story more. The music went well with their situations, and the setting were very nice.

Onto the plot. I really didn't see Wild Dog being an undercover hitman trying to take out Flying Dagger. I think that was the moment I was really into the plot. Of course, love prevails over all, so they don't end up killing each other, but that moment when Wild Dog's mask flies off and and flying Dagger looks him in the eyes was everything. You could feel the hurt, the confusion, the heartbreak. Both actors did an amazing job at showing what real love is suppose to look like. I loved their first encounter when they learn of each other. The tickling match, the perfectly clumsy first time that had me giggling the entire time. These two showed an actual true relationship to the T and I couldn't be more proud in their performances. The uncles in this situation were truly disgusting. Why couldn't these people just let them be happy and hitmans? Flying Dagger's father obviously took him when he was vulnerable and not in a good position (we won't even talk about him getting p***ed on in the bathroom; truly traumatizing). I'm happy he was able to stand up for himself and Wild Dog. Now they both can just do what they do and be happy. The sister was the sweetest human ever. She was truly just so excited to see Wild Dog happy, which made me happy for him.

Overall, this was so cute. It took me less that about 2 hours to finish, so it's a super easy watch. The plot flowed nicely and nothing felt irrelevant or slow. I highly recommend!

Weird Af

Well... This BL was one of the weirdest drama I've seen, I mean the first couple (MuRen and LiCheng) were okay, but the second couple was wtf, i don't have nothing against stepbrother's couples but this one was weird and toxic. Yong Ji raiped Ye Xing and Xing did not do anything , i mean HE JUST GOT YOU DRUNK AND RAPED YOU. Furthermore, since the beginnig Yong Ji was obsessive, possessive and extremely toxic with his stepbrother.
And in the chapter 8 when Xing said to Yong that he want to love him like a brother and like a lover i was like okay.... what he just said hahah.

Very weird but the first couple was okay, actualy i fell in love with Li Cheng.

Half enjoyable, half disappointing

I was excited to watch this drama and it started very well. Both ML and FL are interesting characters, plot is established well at the beginning and makes you want to watch next episode. Half way in the drama ... plot starts to show some flaws, repetition and absurdities .... i had to fast forward some episode as they were too long and unnecessary for the overall story.
Unfortunately, this drama is not my cup of tea and did not work for me. Too many things are missing and it did not bring me any emotions.

It is a miss and i would not recommend this drama. I did prefer Legend Of Fei for reference.
