100 Random participants was chosen to join the surviving game through a game monitor helmet & the winner can obtain Garo gold costume. A must watch dark thriller psychological drama. This not s sequel or prequel from previous Garo series/movies.

Both start of with a pretty simple storyline and one-sided characters but as the series progress so does the plot. Though Liar game is more of a mental struggle compared to Duels emotional roller coaster.

- Smart male lead
- Crime
- Mystery
- Shared past
- Plot twists
- Money issues

Although TSHLYE is less dramatic and intense compared to Liar Game, they have similar tones of mystery where nothing is as it seems. TSHLYE has a bigger focus on romance and melodrama-type plot twists, but there is a sense that things are not as they seem and highly convoluted plot-lines exist in both dramas. (This includes comparisons to the original Japanese version of Liar Game.)

Both shows feature mindblowing games.
(1) In AiB, they are death games (loosers die, winners survive).
(2) In Liar Game, they are money game (loosers get debt, winners get money).

AiB has a larger budget its games are visually more impressive but Liar Game's games are more technical and complex, with insane twists.

If you enjoyed the game part of AiB, you'll love Liar Game.
-> The Korean version of Liar Game (2014) is more realistic and comes close to a thriller.
-> The japanese version (2007) is more mangaesque, with exagerated characters, a distinct color palette and music.
Both are equally as good and should not be missed!

Although the setting is in no way similar because K2 is all about action and fighting scenes, the part about the male lead taking care of the female lead is the same. In Liar Game, the male lead takes care of the too-kind and naive girl through the entire drama. And even though there is not romance, there are little hints about a relationship between the MCs.

Games, Betrayal, Friendship,
Did you watch one of them and thinking if you should watch the other ? then I think you shouldn't waste time reading any more, JUST GO FOR THEM

Twisted psychological warfare is involved in both as the main characters face a series of events presented to them through the filming of a reality/game show. They're both given tasks to complete or otherwise face great danger.
Wanted is about a mom trying to save her son from a kidnapper who requests her to make a show and complete the missions he gives her everyday, for 10 days.
Liar Game is about a naive and innocent girl who gets thrown into the world of trickery and greed by participating in the Liar Games which will require her to play games to either win lots of money or fall into a grave debt.

Both Liar Game and Kakegurui involve complicated games where the main character needs to outsmart her opponents.

They are both take place in reality game where the contestants are trying to win money.
They both have similar tone and mood of the movie.
100 Million is a bit more darker than Liar Game because LG has more humor than 100 Million.

Looking for a fast pacing and exciting drama with a lot of mystery and plot twict? Here You Are. But Liar game isn't a fantasy drama.
