When sexual abuse is normalized...
Spoilers...This is the type of lakorn where rape is romanticized... The ML kidnaps FL, rapes her in a row and in the end impregnates her. All these because of his "love"... FL after all these continues to love him and in the end they have their happy ending together 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️. I think that is more than disgusting. None shape of love can justify this sexual abuse. It's sad that these dramas keep normalized these assaults. I know that this drama is categorized in slapandkiss genre, but again all these was over the top. More specifically i think even in dramas, they mustn't touch the theme of rapes so carelessly and show it like something naturally happens when someone is in love. Rape isn't love, is a perversion and is an unacceptable crime with psychological and physical consequences on the victim , and this is the only way that TV should present it.

Has possessive jealous ml
It's a fine watch if you don't mind the ML forcing on FL out of jealousy scene..you shouldn't be minding because if you see it you'll see..the FL doesn't mind it much...she gives in anyway..she just retaliates in beginning but she loves him
She want to be his but remembers his deceit
The ML is beyond anything..angry possessive jealous horny flirty and never giving up
There were too many unnecessary things and a lot of bitchy characters and cat fights...but everyone ends up at right place
Here ml is madly in love with FL ..
And the chemistry is on fire
Give it a watch..

Why I loved this drama so much
This is one drama that I keep coming back to. I just love this drama so much. So my review is superrr biasedThe ML is very manipulative. At the start all he wanted was money. So, he manipulates the FL to marry him. But he was just so cuteeee. I think his antics were really adorable from start. He would try his best to throw Red Flags at the FL but since she was smart (or rather her mother was smart) the FL didn't fall for his red flags. But she fell for him so I guess he was successful. Most of his plans to woo the heroine fell through because of her mother but since the FL was attracted she agreed to marry him.
Though he still wanted his money back so he didn't tell the FL the truth until it came out after they were married. And then it was a superrr roller coaster after that point.
The ML realized he couldn't have the money and her both so he chose her. But it wasn't that easy since she didn't trust him anymore (and her mother never trusted the ML either). But since she loved him she still went to his house to stay with him and tried to make his life difficult. (More like she was attention-seeking by hurting him with the only thing that seemed to matter to him since she believed that she never mattered to him.) It was funny to watch since it was always evident that the Leads loved each other. While the ML decided to kidnap her and forcefully seduced her thinking that that would give them their HEA. ( Since he believed that the FL still loved him. And he was right too. She still loved him but she couldn't trust him anymore) So, again the ML was left behind since the FL believed other people's words over the ML's. (Once bitten twice shy) And this time she didn't want anything to do with the ML anymore. But there was more plot device to keep the Leads entangled with one another. And at last, there was a dramatic ending to the drama but since it was a HEA, all's well that ends well.
After watching it several times, I decided that the Leads could have lived a much easier life by removing the toxic extras from their lives. But since it's a Thai Remake, one must always remember a few rules.
1. There can't be a story without toxic characters.
2. The MLs don't know what they have until it's lost.
But the thing that I liked the most about this drama was that the ML only loved the FL. No matter what happened, he was willing to be by her side. And he wasn't swayed away from the FL by other characters. No matter what he thought was going on, he wasn't willing to give up on what they had.

Skip, skip, skip until the main leads scene
Besides the main leads nothing worth watching, so skip skip skip until its main leads scene. And this IS one of the controversial ones, so if you can't digest that don't watch it.I, for one, actually like watching controversies and contemplating character decisions in those situations.
Now coming to drama itself, production is bs as is in most lakorns, acting is okayish, OST absent or badly placed, character development abysmal, only thing worth watching here is the relationship and angst between the main leads.
The characters themselves, besides main leads, were not watch worthy so skipped all of them and that's my suggestion to anyone else too.
As for main leads, I actually found the FL literally annoying. She caused herculean amounts of misunderstandings and miscommunication just by not giving the guy a single chance to explain himself or even talk. A super one dimensional character who can either love or hate someone and once she starts hating she won't stop no matter if the hell bent over. ML, as pointed in summary and tags, is possessive and obsessive and by a good amounts too. He is lacking in communication department too, but, then again, the angst can't be created so I kind of understand storywriter's perspective here.
The relationship in itself, is like this, confused -> love -> hate -> hate -> hate -> confused -> confused -> confused -> love. As you see, the relationship progression is not actually bad but the event that lead to change in progression are weird to say the least. Like how suddenly "love" converted to "hate" just because of one reveal that ML is interested in her money. She didn't even give him a chance to talk, she just went from "love" to "hate" in an instant! And then she stays in that "hate" phase for quite long. That's why I'm calling FL one dimensional. How "hate" converted to "confused" is another story altogether, it was quite fun to watch. And how "confused" converted back to "love" was rushed beyond reason, it happens in 3-5 mins only, I think?
Anyways, overall....ummm....its a rather unique watch, only a very few people could actually like this and there are not very many things to like here. I rate it 6/10 for the uniqueness. That could've been lower though if I didn't skip a lot.

And the most annoying thing about the drama is the second endless whining about how bad kangpope is really out of this world I just dont feel he deserved yim at all.
On the positive note the hot male lead and the cute female lead and their romance is top notch me personally on a normal situation won't like somebody like kangpope but he kind made up in two ways for me making sure he was faithful to his wife assuming he slept with those whore I would have been so pissed with him. Secondly how he didn't give in to his aunt about divorcing being was another high point for me.
The male lead is damn hot the hottest thia guy have seen so far

I did not buy the romance part....
I have a high tolerance regarding Lakorns. I am used to the plot holes, kidnapping and the crazy behaviour. I do not have a problem with the slap/kiss-theme. Rape scenes are the norm in lakorns (of course I am talking about fiction not the reality!) so do not watch if you are offended by it. I am watching lakorns as guilty pleasure. But this series was just NOT able to sell it to me.My main problem with it: the "love story".
The most important part of a lakorn is the romance and they messed it up.
I do not know WHEN the ML decided that he loved the FL. He just suddenly decided in a scene: "Wait a minute. NOW I am feeling bad that I was lying to her because I love her to death."
WHAT?
That came out of the blue and was not believable. Up to this point I thought he was stalking her, because he wanted to cheat her out of her money (no spoiler, its in the synopsis). Up to that point there was NO SCENE in which he seemed sincerely interested in her. Let alone in love. I am not sure if it is the actors fault or the directing... Either way, It messed up the love story. It got a little bit better after I tried to convince myself that I probably missed some key scenes and they surely were head over heels in love. ;-)
The FL was a pushover from the get go. Yes, that is nothing new in lakorn world but she seemed to have no personality. She seemed to be a doll, sitting in the corner while the side characters were fighting.
They tried to rescue her image by making her "rebel" at a certain point. To sell her as a strong independent woman. But this did not work out either because it was a half-a**** attempt at best. She seemed like an empty shell. To the point that I asked myself: What does this "playboy", which can have any girl he wants, sees in her? I do not get how and when he fell in love with her.
All in all: For a lakorn the story was alright. The acting was okay. Like I said: I watched is as guilty pleasure and will not watch it again. It could have been much better if they had put in some scenes between ML and FL in the beginning, to sell the real love part to me. Plus more personality for the FL. She does not have to be special but ANY personality traits or hobbies, would be great. ;-)
I do not recommend watching it. There are better Lakorns out there.

TL;DR - I really wouldn't recommend you watch this unless you like the lead actors. In my opinion this was a terrible remake and the 2002 version was much better. Alright, so off the bat this was a very difficult and strenuous lakorn for me to get through. I usually start off the review with things I liked or appreciated, but for this lakorn I truly cannot think of any good thing I enjoyed. I do have some honourable mentions, one being Tor (2nd ML) and Neung's mom. Both were the most sensible characters out of everyone in the show and I could connect with them. Everything else just did not work for me. So with that being said, let's go on to the things I didn't like.
The story was very dry, repetitive and had a lot of filler. The same cycle of events kept repeating throughout the lakorn (eg. Kong's aunt and Fah scheme something and they mess up every time, but still get away with it and scheme again) and the same conflict between Kong/Neung kept re-hashing itself to the point where I just wanted them to go their separate ways and never see each other again. You better believe I had my FF button for the majority of this. I also felt that there was a major inappropriate use of music here; scenes that were supposed to be serious or foreboding would mainly have this upbeat music that irritated me a lot. An example I'll give is when happy, upbeat music played over the r*** scene between Kong and Neung and romanticized it, which made me feel disgusted. Simply put, I felt this was a poorly executed story and the editing was very substandard.
I honestly didn't like either of our leads, Kong and Neung. Kong was a deceptive, selfish manipulator and his love for Neung came out of nowhere; sure there were moments that he looked guilty for what he was doing, but then why does he feel guilty? There isn't any meaningful interaction between them that would make me believe that he changed his mind. This was the same issue I had in the 2002 ver, but I could ignore it there whereas here it bothered me. He couldn't take no for an answer, and forced himself numerous times on Neung which made me dislike him a lot. As for Neung, I did initially sympathize with her but after the reveal, she couldn't decide whether she still loved Kong or not. She hated him but then would get emotional and teary when he was with other women. A big part of why I didn't like her is also due to Lily's portrayal (I didn't like Push's either), which I will discuss later.
The romance was pretty much dead on arrival after the big plot point was revealed. Again, I didn't understand where Kong's love for Neung came from, and him desperately trying to get her back would've been touching if it weren't for the fact that she showed no love for him at all. There was very little romance, no chemistry and no scenes of them being truly happy together and understanding eo; it was buried by continuous misunderstandings and schemes. So Kong being desperate and shedding his pride while Neung just wanted to get away as far as possible made him look like a loser to me. The betrayal was something that ruined their relationship and nothing happened that could make me believe it was something they could get over. They were better off not together, and it was really telling to me when I started to ship Neung with Tor, which I never considered when I watched the 2002 version.
I was surprised I had such a tough time watching this version because I remember enjoying the 2002 version a lot. I went back to watch the 2002 ver and I've made my own conclusions below on why this 2015 remake didn't work for me, but the 2002 one did.
1. 2015: "Can I copy your homework?"
2002: "Sure but change it so it's not obvious."
If you know this meme then you understand where I'm going with the above statements. The 2015 show was an almost exact repeat of 2002, which is not what a remake is supposed to do. You're supposed to change certain things to fit in the time period it's airing because the audience and the times have changed. The few things they chose to change didn't make sense (they made Kong r*** Neung a 2nd time. Why??? They changed the flower ring scene which is one of the most pivotal moments for Kong and Neung's relationship. Why???), and the things they kept didn't make even more sense (eg. Kong is peeping at Neung and the r*** scene). I don't know why they didn't modernize this script and I honestly feel like anyone watching this for the first time would've been turned off by how old-fashioned it was. They made a somewhat questionable story even worse, and another big part of why is because of the leads.
2. Push vs Tik, Lily vs Aom. I didn't like Push's portrayal of Kong, or Lily's portrayal of Neung. Some of this is not totally on the actors, as the script was crappy and I'm sure they did the best they could. But the biggest reason why I enjoyed the 2002 ver was because Tik was very convincing and charismatic as Kong, and his charm swept me away; I could completely see why Neung would fall for him despite not knowing him for long. As for Push, I just felt like he was aggressive and creepy and his charm didn't work on me at all. But Tik would've also looked aggressive and creepy if Aom was not as strong/fiery as she was and actually had a backbone. Lily just seemed soft and weak, and it didn't help that she had a slow line delivery, to the point where it sounded like she was trying to remember her lines in between sentences. It made her look foolish. All you have to do is compare the 2002 and 2015 wedding scene where Neung reacts to the betrayal, and you will see why I think Aom portrayed Neung better than Lily did.
Overall in my opinion, this was a terrible remake of Roy Leh Sanae Rai. I would not re-watch. I honestly would not recommend anyone watch this, and would 100% recommend the 2002 version.

If face value can sell a show, this is the winner.
I have seen a fair share of Thai tv shows. Slap kiss, revenge themes and even rape cases. In all of these brutal shows, the repentance is so sincere that eventually it warms up your heart. The earnest repentance gives way to forgiveness. But wow, I am amazed how characterless the main lead is shown here. Deception, rape, kidnap, keeping the girl captive and false accusation of cheating. The male lead kept on doing one onslaught after another. He had two women in one evening, one on his lap and later took the other girl to his room. All in the name of making his wife jealous. The first time ML made love to FL was because he thought she was cheating. He said sorry without any strings attached, in the last 5 minutes of the show that too after finding out about all the evil ladies conspiracies. Yuck to all their time together. Lastly even though ML & FL had many scenes together, strangely there was no chemistry. You never feel the goosebumps or skipping a heart beat. Sad, this was a waste of beautiful cast and resources. Was this review helpful to you?
