overhyped...
I couldn't stand this show, it was too difficult to watch. The story was too cliché. If there was chemistry maybe I would've continued but the acting was quite bland. The best part of this show were the soundtracks; I couldn't stop singing them for a while. Other than that, I didn't like anything else. I'm not a fan of both main characters. The FL is well-known and her acting is always the same, immature and quirky which isn't always cute. She's not a bad actress, it's just not my cup of tea.Definitely overhyped and will not finish.

Too ridiculous even for me
I've seen a lot of bad shows, but this one was just ridiculous.Students acting like businessmen, computer science students knowing nothing about computers, a battle RPG game where you have to get married for absolutely no reason at all, petty fights and arguments, people falling in love left, right and center with fictional game character and acting way too serious about it. Then there's the guy who IRL almost killed his friend (ML), and instead of apologizing to him for injuring him, he apologized to the FL because - and get this - the ML couldn't show up for a game, as he was in a coma (!!!), causing the FL to lose a video game battle.
And don't even get me started on the special snowflake that is the female lead who's apparently the only smart student on the entire campus and everyone wants to date her. Meanwhile, she falls in love with a guy in the game (ML) and quits the game because he doesn't show up ONCE.
Ugh, I'm frustrated just typing this.

Overhyped
First of all, this drama got to me recommended back when I was new to Chinese drama. Apparently this drama was supposed to be the newcomer- friendly but still exceptionally good drama. Well I was disappointed. I am actually surprised about how much it was hyped. Beware, I did not finish this drama, I also will not finish it.To start off with, the potential in the plot is not bad on itself, but somehow the way it was executed made the whole plot boring to me. There was no build- up moment, no real cliffhanger nor any moment created to make you hold your breath back anticipating for what's next. No, it felt like I was watching a monotonous dialogue. The only thing that could have saved this, could have been the acting of the main leads.
But let's go on on that, the acting was cutely bad. Cutely bad, because even though their acting weren't horrendous, the fact that their acting was boring multiplied to the already- boring plot. The main male lead almost held no expression, while the female lead felt like she did not fit the role. She might have, but she did not play the part.
Since I did not finish this drama, I'd say this has no rewatch value. Some people might love this drama, some might not. As a person that is not shy from heavy palace dramas and dramas with many episodes, this drama was just not my cup of tea. This is something I concluded of course after I explored other Chinese dramas.

The Casts r beautiful i cant even-
Yang Yang sLAYS, his acting is on point, but not a big fan of Zheng Shuang's acting BUT it's not bad it's just not as good as Yang Yang. Specially Kiss Scenes she just stand there like nothing happened.
I Love the Game element of the story that they make them act as if they're in the game,
The romance is very sweet, The character develompment > interesting.
the first 9 episodes are not as interesting after 10 but still as good.

Despite or perhaps because I don't play online games, I really enjoy the intervention of gaming with the immersion inside the game and personification it's the original point of the drama which bring some action and fantasy scene.
The main couple is great together. I like how they interact together and trust each other.
It's a sweat, soft and positive drama that will make you put up a smile thinking about it.

Just Okay, but Dull
The plot is somewhat interesting but a bit overused. I've watched half the series. The characters are easy to get, but it's a bit dull that they all act alike. The main characters, both top players from the same school, fall for each other, which is cute but a bit shallow. Even though the actors are big now, they were newbies when the show started, and it shows in their stiff acting, especially the leads. In the end, I decided to drop the series because it gets boring and feels like nothing much is happening.Was this review helpful to you?

I honestly think this drama is too over rated. This drama was okay but nothing more. It was pretty simple and had a lot of clichés as in the guy being a cold and emotionless and the girl being warm sweet. Xiao Nai (Yang Yang) is extremely handsome and a great kisser but other than that, there is nothing else. I also felt the same way with Bei Wei Wei (Zheng Shuang). She is very very pretty but she lacked the emotion to the point that is sometimes became awkward. There was this one scene of them kissing and it was just straight up awkward because Xiao Nai kissed Bei Wei Wei and but she didn't kiss him back and she just did absolutely nothing at all... I dunno there was just no drama at all to keep me interested and the characters seemed too perfect. Was this review helpful to you?

Forgot to keep watching
For the first 15 episodes or so I was really enjoying this drama. I really loved the premise and the switching between the video game world and real life. I also really liked the main couple, they are super cure together and their story for the most part didn't feel overdramatised. The pacing of the show is a bit all over the place, they spend AGES on things that really only needed one scene while plots that could have been an entire 5 episode arc, were half an episode? Like the whole car accident and the hacker plot lines were both over wayyyyy too fast. On top of that, the thing that made the show interesting (to me at least) was the use of the video game world and this gets used less and less after the couple get together in real life, so the drama became rather dull to watch by the mid-way point.I also found that they loved to talk about how independent and intelligent Wei Wei is but in practice, she largely depends on Xiao Nai. I felt she was rather infantilised at times, like when she does chores to get money from her parents for a new phone, while he's off starting a whole damn company. (even though they are only one year apart at the same university). And when she eventually comes to work at the company with him...she's just an intern?? Like?? She's supposed to be one of the best in her department. Even the chef from the cafeteria got more to do than that! It would have been a lot more interesting had she helped them found the company/develop the game they were making.
Finally, I found the secondary couple's guy (Cao Guang) extremely unlikeable to the point where I was yelling at the TV for Er Xi to PLEASE find someone better. I have no desire to watch them fall in love, I'll be honest.
I dunno, I eventually just forgot to continue watching because I didn't particularly care anymore. The show is cute and has a strong cast and premise but kinda lost itself in the middle. Maybe I'll eventually come back and finish it, but at this point I've left it so long that I don't really feel motivated to.

Awful acting
My main problem with this series was the awful acting, mostly from the supporting characters. I wasn't able to continue watching it. I'm not an expert, but I understand that if the issue is not with a single actor, but with many members of the cast, it is more of a directing issue.I understand that it is a series aimed at very young audiences, but that is no excuse for having characters that are so unbelievable and with attitudes that are not the best for that audience, such as the fact that the popular boy only has to wink at a girl, not even a previous chat, and she is the happy girlfriend.
Furthermore, I read that it has been very successful in China and other countries, which is why I was very interested in watching it, but I really don't understand how it became a success. Everything in this show seams so fake.
It's a shame because I've seen several series starring Yang Yang and I liked them.

Stopped at episode 12
It started out pretty good! But around episode 10 it went off the rails into a field of boring and repetitive.This is the second drama I've watched with Yang Yang as the male lead (the other one was You Are My Glory) and they have both been quite bad. I feel sad, because I really want to like his dramas, but I haven't so far.
If anyone has a favorite Yang Yang drama, please send a recommendation my way!!

It may be sound weird for m who is not into cdrama/taiwan drama. I have watched the cheesy and clingy drama i have ever watched and enjoyed it and that was "Well Intended Love" Despite a lovey-dovey couple, I did enjoy the couple in Well Intended Love but this drama...I dont even enjoy every single thing of the casts, dont tell about the story. STORY & CHARACTERS
They are only focusing on "Gaming" stuff and the casts were the character in that game which is I found it weird and new. I like it when they tried to mix between real & fantasy life but its not a necessary when they already have a solid story of the main lead.
ACTING
If we stare at our laptop for many hours we got & looks tired but they look as fresh as apples in the market that has been cleaned by the seller. Its kinda find me weird and the female lead...she is just having a beautiful face there is no improvement until episode 9.
MUSIC
I skipped a lot of scenes because most of them was game parts, I didnt listen to the music either..

The story was boring and the female lead was worst. You can clearly see that she is just doing her job as an actor. Only person i like in this drama is yang yang,although he too was just acted like stone,but atleast he did his part unlike nonexistant wei wei.Apart from that everything is crap,bullshit, and what not.
I don't understand why chinese dramas keep producing realising same kinda storyline over and over again???? Why???
This drama was exactly copycat of "The Heirs". Same crap,same aura,same away from reality.
In real world no matter how beautiful or smart you are no one will keep clicking pictures of yours,or keep staring at you,until unless you are a celebrity!!!
And the makers of these kinda drama keeps forgetting their own plot that they have shown the Male lead or female lead to be out of this world. Because some time people keep clicking photos and in next shot they doesn't even exist they are like invisible.
And those games scenes are so annoying and irritating. No story,no plot,no chemistry. NOTHING!!!
I really regret watching 6episodes,because judging from the rating i kept bearing that may be now it will get better but i was unable to keep up after 6th episode.
And i honestly don't like this kind of crap out of world away from reality story which contains too much cliche!!!
