The psychopath can easily fool people making them thing he's a nice guy, what makes others dirty.

Both are about a cop who chases a psychopathic serial killer just after seeing someone they care about violently murdered.

Both movies have the same director and a similar dark atmosphere. The lead in The Chaser is chasing a killer while the lead in The Yellow Sea is being chased in the aftermath of a hit gone wrong. The buildup in The Yellow Sea is slower but both movies have the same tense undertone.

Both movies involve a manipulative serial killer. Psychopath. Many got killed. The police incapable. Mystery thriller.

It was directed by Na Hong-jin in his directorial debut.[4] Inspired by real-life Korean serial killer Yoo Young-chul, certain scenes were shot on location around Mangwon-dong in the Mapo District, Seoul.

Both have similar vibes though the stories are very different.
Crime , action , murder, and so on.
In a way both are about psychopath killers.
