This is also a drama where a girl is chasing a boy - an intelligent class topper like Baek Seung Jo. But, they are different in character. The lead pair here is cute and they have good chemistry. This is a cute romance and I have actually fallen in love with their cuteness. It is cuteness overload ????

Both dramas have the same silly, sweet and funny feel with a charming female lead.
Also, Kim Hyun Joong (Yoon Ji Hoo in Boys Over Flowers) is the male lead in Playful Kiss. His character (Baek Seung Jo) is different yet somehow still similar to Yoon Ji Hoo. So, if you liked him in Boys Over Flowers, you'll probably like him in Playful Kiss as well!

Both are of a girl that is sweet, lively, and not so knowing, loyally falling for a guy with full knowledge of it being unrequited. And due to some mishaps they have to live together and she is always at his side continually showing her affection for him although he seem interested in someone else it slowly starts to rub off on him. With a fantasy twist to it I'm sure you'll enjoy.

This is the original Taiwanese version. There's more back story and there's a second part!

Both dramas have quirky, silly comedy and the romantic developments between the characters are really funny and clumsy. However, I still consider PK of a higher enjoyment level, as the story is better developed and the characters are even better suited for their roles.

it's like a continuation of the first story and it's tells about the life of baek seung jo and oh ha ni after marriage.

Both revolve around a girl who likes a guy and boy doesn't like her...yet.

However Playful Kiss this concept is stretched longer unlike Heartstrings.

Its because the both shows depicts a determined girl who loves a very popular guy and try to Achieve his heart and love. Here also we could see a love triangle .... Try it.
Note this drama is based on business rather than highschool and college

In both dramas the girls main goals are to make the guy fall in love with them. But both guys are rude and reject them at the beginning. Both dramas are kinda cheesy but cute.

In both their are two high school students who live together, but don't want anybody to know. Both couples make each other better people.

Same story with better acting (in my opinion).
I found the that i liked the leads better in Kiss Me.

both dramas have genius but cold male leads who fall for women who are their complete opposite through the help of their overly meddlesome family.
Recommended by Momolovedog
the male lead is both smart and they try to tutor/teach the female lead. both the female leads are also trying to get the attention of the male leads first.

It's similar in the aspect of like story, but when you watch Playful you will automatically think of the lead from Goong because they are quite similar a well as the fact they are written by the same screenwriter so if you enjoyed Goong you most likely will enjoy Playful Kiss, you will also have the teddy bears at the end of each episode.
