Both dramas have:-
- arrogant male lead (but in You're Beautiful the ml is more 'rational' and 'nicer' compared to the ml in Playful Kiss?)
- innocent female lead
- second male lead
- 'evil' second female lead
- cohabitation

Both have similar vibes like:
-- one of the lead confess their feelings to other lead but gets rejected and the other lead starts to have feelings(because of the confession) from then yet they hide it from everyone!
-- like kluen always gets jealous when he sees dao with someone else and he still doesn't show his jealous to dao until last few episodes, similarly in playful kiss, male lead gets jealous easily and yet he hides it from the female lead!
-- They kiss in dreams but surprisingly they really do kiss and its not dream! hope you will get what I meant!
-- one lead always tries to help other lead in all possible way knowing other lead will never know how much they love that person, but for our surprise other lead is also having same feelings towards them!
-- Even one of the lead tries to start a new relationship but it won't last long because they already in love with other lead which is hard to end!
-- both have happy ending and cute scenes.

FL Is crazy about ML
ML is popular and smart and treats FL as if he does not like her, although he knows and accepts her adoration
They live close to each other in both settings but keep it secret
Supporting character (SL) similar in actions and attitude.

The ML's are both cold and arrogant.
The FL's are both kind of clumsy and very foolish.
Either one or the other of the MC's is rich as frick.
Both of these also have an sML!

They have the same overall vibe. I'm not sure why exactly, but FTLY kept reminding me of PK while I was watching it. They're both light romcoms and both use cliche tropes.

In both dramas the FL moves in the ML house. Both main couples have their differences in the beginning but then the path to love begins...???? The ML helps out the FL when she needs it :)
