It is a remake of this drama. Same story but much better CGI and acting. It is basically a much better quality version of this drama.

Both dramas are a remake of the older version. In your childhood if you've Watched handsom siblings then you might have watched Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre. They are good dramas to watch to remember your childhood.

Similar Wuxia story remakes with some same faces like Lin Yu Shen in both. Adventure, some romance and ties from the past generation to the future too

It's the same story with a different approach and it's never, ever boring.
People allergic to old vfx might want to stay away, but everyone else should hunt it down. It's a gem.

HSDS is more purist Wuxia, with more and better fights. It's serious in tenor and do involve some romantic interests. MLC has a more consistent plot.

It is also Adventurous journey of a an orphan child who becomes one of the strongest in the entire clan I think it had a little bit similarities and definitely recommend this one if you love Character development and strong ML.

A war between cultivation sects is a common theme between them. heavenly swords and dragon-slaying saber has better fight scenes.

Good fight scenes and fight between cultivation sects in both the dramas. World of Fantasy is more Wuxia and heavenly swords and dragon slaying saber is Xianxia.

Where to start? both drama has many plot likeness, both leads has to deal with their parents troubled past, both are young and chivalrous guys who are weak and get strong by studying and training their martial skills, both has many female leads going after them. The drama has calm teachers and hyped teacher too, the school scenes here are less, the monsters scenes too tho.

about a sword that everyone wants but now anyone can control. one is more political and the other is more about the martial arts world.

The main male lead starts off pretty weak but trains slowly to become the strongest in the drama. Fight scenes in both are climatic.
