Juniors who work with seniors and their struggle they face together at work. The one thing that differs is the profession, Incomplete Life is about working as office worker, Live is about working as police. Also similarity between both drama main leads' background, they initially wasn't intended to work as office worker and police.

Both shows give off a similar vibe. They both portray the hardships of the workplace, as well as the strong bonds that come with it.

Live is similar to Misaeng in that the characters are so loyal and caring to one another. The characters have a cute and touching relationship.

Both drama revolves around a daily group of cop dealing with their respective duties in the police force. It is also more about slice of life than action. The story is so touching and the way it shows the struggles that these police officers are dealing with in their work and life is so powerful and great.

It has an interesting mentor character too who deals with his family issues much like this drama.

There is a set of rookie cops under him, and their training and initial experience in the police force have been shown with much more detail and emotions. The rookie cops also have their own stories, and overall the characters are really memorable too, (Doesn't follow a main crime throughout the episodes, hence a different procedural style).

Worth watching if you love the initial rookie struggles and bonding between youngsters joining police force.

Very similar premise but Live is a Korean production…. Very realistic, but I actually preferred the Live plot. It had a lot more depth… and I really ended up crying….

Both are slow paced, and highlight the seemingly insignificant aspects of life. While Live looks out over the organization of the Korean police force as a whole, from the perspective of a handful of individuals, WTWIF is more focused inward on the personal narrative of its main leads. The genres/subjects are quite different, but the styles are similar, giving that true-to-life indie vibe.

My Mister is definitely darker & more serious in comparison to Live, but they carry similar tones in terms of an honest, raw, and un-glamourised representation of human life. They both present people seeing humanity in others even among ugly times. Although Live is focused on life as a police officer while My Mister isn't aimed at portraying a particular career lifestyle, they both discuss the trials and tribulations of these particular characters (both with such well written and not-shallow/flat personalities, might I add) with such honesty, and aren't afraid to be ugly and disappointing. The struggles of the characters in both dramas might otherwise be written about in some inspirational self-help book, but here they are just one human's struggle. It sucks. It's not pretty. It's not there for you to conclude that life is beautiful and everything happens for a reason and happiness is there if you believe there is. They both say, no, life sucks sometimes, it gets dark and ugly, but you can make it out of your struggles alive someday.

A police team you'll care about.

Although set in different eras, with Live focusing more on the day-to-day and Life on Mars following a mystery plot, these shows are both good in building the relationships between colleagues, and making the fate of these characters matter to you.

Set in the same story of cop universe.
Highlights the difficulties the cops face in real life.
In Live the story is down to earth, in Police University has little over the top story/ villains.

Delves further into an occupation, this time psychiatry and mental illness. Same writer and director, Kwangsoo as a support role, Sung Dong Il also as a support role with a really great relationship. It's relatable and talks about the realities of the job and how mental illnesses are more prevalent than we think. Like Live, it's a really beautiful watch.

- It revolves around the cops too(with firefighters and forensics also involved in First Responders), there are a wide variety of cases being solved throughout different episodes.
- The main character has a slightly rash attitude with a troubled family background.
- Both have a romance subplot

Live has better romance and character development, with more realistic perspectives while First Responders is a bit more light-hearted in its approach though the cases are serious enough in both.

Both feature police officers as the main leads and how they work together with their fellow co-workers to tackle crime.
