Makes you reflect on deeper meanings in life, definitely also makes you tear up.
Also eventually touches upon the bond and trust between humans

Same slice of life feeling, while at the same time dealing with issues brought up during the work of civil servants/police officers. Both focus on human interactions and sometimes touch on sensitive subjects, but manage to avoid melodrama.

- Similar offbeat vibe.
- Workplace happenings and how the characters deal with them.
- Contemplative about life; what it is, why it tires you out, how you can choose to live it in order to survive.
- Interesting dialogue but also lots of needed silence.

These two dramas are similar due to
>their heavy story line based on real crime related events ( meaning these thing could happen or have happened ).
>both dramas go from 1 and/or 2 episodes per "story"/"case". While still keeping the same "original" plot.

there are dramas that have a "cold" tone to it. they are relaxing and somewhat as realistic as dramas can get?

- Both are slow-paced + centered around police officers and the crime/injustices that they confront
- While BE is darker and deals with a key plotline throughout, Live explores multiple cases thoroughly with a comparable level of grit and realism
- The MLs organically transition from a forced, clashing partnership to a trusting bromance

They’re both really good slice of life shows, have great character chemistry, and they both have that nice heartwarming feel. Both screenwriters kinda share similarities in their styles.

has a realistic plot and involves police in both dramas. Both dramas well written and well directed and you will get more and more hoocked up with the drama as you finish the episodes

Black Dog can be considered like "the daily lives of teachers", while Live was the daily lives of cops. both are taking the realistic approach to these commonly seen jobs in dramas.
