The story is very simple to follow and you get sucked into this drama right from the first episode.
Sometimes I had the feeling that the feelings of the characters change a bit too fast, but that was the only thing that I was slightly confused about.
A nice fact was that the episodes weren't too long, like 30mins each, which made the drama quite "short" without an unnecessary looong middle part.
The characters were all very well portraied. Everyone had their own kind of weird thing going on and it made each and everyone of them likeable. The main cast was amazing and very adorable, I loved how their relationship developed and it will surely make you cry...it made me cry :'(
I also loved the research team which built the robot, because they gave a the male lead a family feeling and it was so nice to see how they became friends.
The music didn't stand out for me that much but it was very good for the drama as there is nothing negative to say about it.
I would rewatch this drama any time because it's such an easy drama too watch as I mentioned before.
Overall 9,5/10.
I would recommend this drama for everyone who wants to start watching dramas :)

admiration for ML :Yoo seung Ho
I have watched many KDramas and have always bee amazed by the ability of the male actors to cry so easily. The scene where Yoo Seung Ho cries before he reboots the "robot" had me in tears. It was so real- I don't know how the FL was able to complete the scene without breaking down herself. As an older woman, the scene brought back memories of how it feels to be loved that much - especially, during a farewell. This actor brings such credibility to the screen. I hope to watch more of his works. He is a gem!! Thanks to the entire production team and all of the actors.

Loved
First review here. The love story here is extraordinary. People keep referring to it as fluffy and cute. I think it is more very sweet at the beginning. I liked the ending too. Tied everything up nicely. The middle, I suppose, is fluffy -- if your definition of fluffy means tear your heart out of your chest, slam it against the wall, put it through a meat grinder and throw the pieces on the street for the wild dogs to eat. I had to fast forward to the ending to reassure myself that it would get less painful as I sobbed into my pillow. But man, it strung me along for a while. The ML's conveying of a huge range of emotions is extraordinary. The actor is brilliant in this role. The FL plays a robot throughout a lot of the show, so has to remain emotionless. Her human versus robot emotions are beautifully done.
The rest of the cast did a great job. I'm not usually a fan of the silly comic relief characters, but they were cute and funny and I didn't want to fast forward through them like i do in other dramas.
Highly recommend it. Haven't seen any of the ML and FL's other works, but hope they both got roles worthy of their acting after this.

Love that has no boundaries
woah, what a drama this was…currently rewatched it…! I still remember, this drama was one of my initial dramas, when I had just started watching Kdramas.
It brings back a lot of memories…
if you are looking for something heart wrenching to watch, this drama is exactly for you. the leads have done a great job, and Yoo Seung Ho is such an eye candy to watch.
The plot is overall good, it has drama, love and is Swoonworthy. if you are wanting to watch something chill, then this drama is for you, I can assure you that it will make you laugh

The show is a strange case of poor local ratings and excellent online reception.I guess Koreans are just not that into robots -The idea is more Japanese anyway-and this could be the primary reason it flopped hard
The story ,romance ,comedy are first rate..Chae Soo Bin makes an adorable human and a robot as well..
Jo seung Ho- my first time seeing him-was superb as well..
If you like cute, light and beautifully made shows ,go for it without a second thought..

the significance of human connection
This was on my list for a long time, but I just couldn't get past the premise. A guy who's allergic to people falls in love with a robot? It sounded so incredibly stupid, and yet I still ended up watching after much hesitation. The plot however really shows the creativity of kdramas. The plot could literally be anything, no matter how weird or insane it sounds and the kdrama could somehow make it work. The power of imagination I tell ya.The plot is not only unique but it's surprising in the sense that the drama ended up better than I expected it to be. The robot storyline was so well done despite it's ridiculousness.
Yoo Seungho did great as the ML. He did a great job of capturing the pain and loneliness that his character had. The drama did a good job on his childhood flashbacks. It was a great way to see how he ended up the way he did and how his illness affected his life for the worse. I don't remember which one exactly but that one crying scene with him really made me emotional.
Chae Soo Bin was pretty good as well. I liked her much more as Ji Ah but she was decent at playing a robot. Of course there were times where her cover should've been blown but if u just go with it you'll be fine. Maybe a part of Mingyu wanted to believe that Aji was real because he was that desperate to feel the love and connection he had never really felt. My favorite scene with her was when she clogged the toilet LMAO.
At the heart, I feel this show is about the need and power of human connection. Having a genuine connection is one of the most special things you can encounter in life. It's what humans were made to do. Connect with one another. I like that this show explores the meaning of having someone be there for you and understand you. Whether you're in someone's life for a short while or a long time, you never know what you can mean to that person.

The premise, while interesting, is super unrealistic and not incredibly complex or deep. However, the writers keep it interesting enough for 32 half-hour episodes.
As for the cast and acting, I couldn't have asked for a better cast. Not only were the leads Chae Soobin and Yoo Seungho incredibly warm and lovely at their own individual roles, but their chemistry together was amazing. The other characters were also very fun and likable.
The music, like the drama itself, is very catchy and cute, but nothing amazing.
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a light and very romantic drama! Also I absolutely LOVE the cast!

The series brilliantly explores themes of love, loneliness, and the blurred lines between human and artificial emotions. The cast, including Yoo Seung-ho and Chae Soo-bin, delivers compelling performances that make the characters relatable and endearing. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, and their journey from initial skepticism to genuine affection is a joy to watch.
The drama combines humor, romance, and a touch of science fiction to create a perfect blend of emotions. The supporting characters, especially the quirky inventor of the robot, add depth and humor to the story.
"I Am Not a Robot" also excels in its production quality, with visually appealing scenes and a captivating soundtrack. The vibrant colors and scenic locations enhance the overall viewing experience.
While some elements of the plot may seem predictable, the character development and the well-executed twists keep the story engaging. The drama's message about the importance of human connection and understanding is heartwarming and relatable.

A very sweet and positive drama, featuring lovely actors
The story's premise — a girl who must pretend to be a robot — is a nice one and provides the right amount of gimmicks and enjoyable moments. The actors were all really good. Chae Soo Bin stands out for her funny and touching portrayal of two different characters, which allows her to use several registers and demonstrate her incredible talent. Kim Min Kyu is also good, even if the script relegates him to a character with fewer expressions and facets.
Special mention goes to... episode 27, which features flashbacks of the most significant events to clear up any misunderstanding and connect the past and present together with a lovely vision of the future.
