Please please dont watch this its a cheap waste of time

Oh oh oh this was such an awful watch because oh my gosh it's just really really showing its budget with this one not only one is there so many inconsistencies and two so many weird weird sets like their houses clearly being soundstages and how weirdly there houses are in set up the first place
This show feels so empty they don't even try to fill up the background to make things feel real
To begin with the ml s attitude makes this an almost unbearable watch, to begin with
A trillion things that don't add up
u can't touch her hand but can go to a club and drink w Simba
Things move so so fast and not that I have a problem with that but how can u grab her and kiss her but be too afraid to hold her hand?? U jump into a relationship with her but dont want touch …. Ever
Then every episode they make out but sleeping together in the bed
This whole thing is just a skip…skip.. SKIPPPP
Please don't watch this its 32 episodes 1344 minutes and 22 hours and some changes I wish I could get back
This could’ve been so fun but the actors made it so painfully boring.
I heard there is a webcomic n is 2000000000000x better so I'm gonna read it
Genuinely so boring and then in some cases meaningless dialogue between side characters
Especially that annoying short girl that be with the pls editor
Dramatized long ass dialogue w sambas band mate who on the cd covers in the show he had a whole 6 member band but in scenes where samba fucking sings for like 10 minutes each its always only two ppl on stage
U RLLY CAN FEEL THE TIMEE W THIS ONE LIKE IT FEELS LIKE 40 MINUTES EACH EPISODE AND U CAN FEEL THE 60 SECONDS IN THE MINUTE AND THEN THE HOWEVER MANY MICROSECONDS TOO
THE ACTOR OF SIMBA IS JUST SO CLEARLY GAY and they try to make it seems like he likes her so bad
SO DRAMATIC AND EMPTY THAT ITS A LETDOWN.
Awful awful dubbing swell a lot of scenes they dubbed the laughs in or whatever
The theme park is completely empty
The dad treats shiva like she is 7 even Taking her phone
THE USELESS SIDE PLOT OF ML BEING A GERMAPHOBE N THE SISTER BEING “VAMP POLICE”
Oh my god the kidnapping plot w the fl and the ml coming to save her
The absolutely awful fighting
Ill give this show a 3 only bc… I got a laugh out of the comments at the very least in its so bad it's good
Ps its so creepy how they had that young girl call him uncle I understand it was a respectful thing but if we r dating why would I call u uncle why is she freshly 18 and dating a uncle!!! whos like 40!

Review is for both seasons:

This is a fairly good lighthearted and fun drama in matters of plot that offers a romance mixed with fantasy/supernatural storyline, but the overall acting is not the best; the female lead wasn't at her best although the male lead was engaging. The second season offers more character development. Still, the drama as a whole (both seasons), delivers some entertaining moments that are good for a short and simple watch that the younger (teenagers) viewers and the young at heart could enjoy. The music of this drama is nice and there is good chemistry among the characters.

XD interesting twist to the world of vampires, but overall if they just focused on Shiya & Zhihao, it wouldn't be so bad. There's a fight scene that needed some help. I was all concerned about girl on the table & then the fight changed the mood so much that I couldn't help but laugh. The acting in some parts needed help, but the main couple had great chemistry - performed really well. So did the background villain mastermind (not the sicko murderer) we had for awhile. It also felt a little strange that some adults kept using a high school's game field to meet & have conversations. Unless it's an open park? It was a nice story though

Modern Vampire Story

The story is intriguing and i have seen the leads actors in other series and they left quite a good impression to me.

The story has some funny moments but there are more dull moments in this series. I don't know if its because of the characters the actors are trying to portray or with the editing. I feel that the series lacks characters and exciting scenes.

I find my self asking "that's it?!", like "how come the conflict ended just like that?". It can be better as far as i know because i have seen these actors in other series.

The story could have been more interesting but it lacks "creativity".

"Have you ever thought about it, bad people aren't born bad."

This has to be one of my favourite dialogues from the drama. No matter how many times I have read or heard this line earlier, it has a different essence when it is used in the drama. It symbolises the presence of conscience but helplessness due to guilt.

I am going to write an overall review based on both the seasons. I haven't read the web comic.

Story (8.5/10)

The thing I liked about the story was that it was well connected. At a point of time, it seemed a puzzle with clues and all I had to do was join the dots to end the story. The thing I disliked about it was it was boring at times, some parts of the story seemed ambiguous and they dragged certain parts of the story which could be cut down. Since each episode is of only thirty minutes, I decided to continue watching.

I was expecting more of adventure and conflicts in the story. Right from the beginning, the problems which seemed pretty major were resolved in the blink of an eye. It was the same towards the end of the drama as well- problems were solved too easily and quickly. Must I also say that the villains weren't bad enough for the story was so easygoing?

Initially I planned to give the story a rating of 6.5. I changed it to 8.5 because the story has a beautiful ending- one which neatly resolves everything, unties all tangles and leaves the views completely satisfied. By saying the drama has a beautiful ending, I am not revealing whether the ending is happy or sad. Trust the drama makers on this one- they will leave you truly satisfied.

Acting/Cast (and characters) (9.5/10)

The actors did a great job. Although the story didn't have many cliffhangers(which I believe would ultimately make the story more interesting), I was immersed into some episodes of the drama because the actors acted extremely well and the characters were very realistic.

There were times when I felt sad because the characters were sad and I felt happy when there were happy events.

I feel actors have a critical role to play in people's opinion of a drama or film. I absolutely loved all the characters, including the villains and I felt so very involved in their world.

Music (10/10)

Has to be a 10/10. The songs were beautiful and complimented different events in the drama- happy and sad very well. They were very meaningful and added to the story. The closing theme OST is my favourite of the songs in the drama because it has a lot one can relate to.

Somehow I feel that listening to the songs alone is enough to re-visualise the entire drama and most importantly the emotions that are part of it.

Re-watch Value (5/10)

I usually don't watch dramas unless they are exceptional. I probably won't be re-watching the entire drama in the future. However, I am going to watch some of the scenes I really liked.

I feel re-watching something depends on the viewer's opinion after they have watched a drama.

I hope my review is helpful for you to decide whether you want to watch the drama or not. As an end note, I would still ask you to watch the drama and see if you'd like to continue watching it. :)

This type of drama is not exactly my cup of tea but I unexpectedly really enjoy this -- like really enjoy it. The leads are super cute, likable & lovely together and the storyline is just simple, entertaining and just overall made you in a happy mood while watching it.

Xing Zhao Lin did a very good job portraying a peculiar, weird and confused Zhi Hao who hates touching people due to his germaphobia. But later, all the sweet things he did to accommodate his shortcomings are really nice to watch. And I love it how he didn’t need words or explanation later to understand Shi Ya's love towards him -- he is the one who felt her sincerity thus other people words didn’t convince him otherwise.

Zhang Yu Xi as Shi Ya is just super lovely! She's pretty, insane, fun, cute and overall just really lovely. I understand why Zhi Hao falls for her since anyone would. Her imagination, persistence and lack of self-control always made everything more hilarious. The scene that got me the most is the ones where she needs to use children's song in order to stop her sexual frustration lol. And her fashion! My goodness, all those one pieces, dresses and evening gowns are just so pretty. Shi Ya’s fashion is truly A++ in this drama - the best dressed Chinese lead female actress in my book as for once, a gorgeous person is dressed gorgeously with very pretty hairstyles.

I actually enjoyed a lot of monologue in the drama. The one that I like the most is when Zhi Hao said that ''He likes being alone where no one disturb him, he has a lot of time to himself -- until Shi Ya comes into his life and change everything. Then he realised that kind of life actually an extravagant to him thus he dares not to dream about it -- not that he hates it. But now he has felt it, he wants to continue living this new life with Shi Ya.''

Apart from that, what I love about this drama is the very pretty cinematography and directing. Mostly all of their romantic scenes together are just like a perfect picture with very nice props and background. The drama is like a collection of many beautiful pictures put together. This is one of the dramas where you realise how important is the directing as the director used a lot of props to make everything looks so pretty, beautiful and breath-taking. From the usage of umbrella, hanging lights on trees, lamp posts light at night to theme park or garden backdrop, every of their romantic scenes together are so pretty and perfect as a photobook material. Coupled this with the leads' attractive features and Shi Ya's great fashion, each scene is like a beautiful photoshoot pictures.

And the OSTs, its really perfect and just beautiful. I don’t know why but C-dramas OSTs are really my cup of tea -- from the sweet melody to the heart-breaking lyrics, everyone seemed to have their own theme song -- even Shi Huan (I didn’t expect the 2nd part ending song is actually from his POV). :D

And the revelation at the end of the drama is really nice and unexpected. Everything makes sense after that -- on why Shi Ya attracted to Zhi Hao and why there are always this strange & explanation connection between them. Not only because Zhi Hao taste delicious but because they are connected together since that day -- as her body remembers his touch and it was his touch which save her from that dark incident. A perfect ending to a complexly fun drama. All around an enjoyable and entertaining production – the one which is perfect for a rewatch everytime you want to have a good and amusing time.

I read unTouchable (WebToon) first and when I saw this I was super excited because I enjoyed unTouchable a lot and was sad when the series came to an end plus who doesn’t love it when their favourite webtoon come to live!

As I read the webtoon so I am kinda having high hopes for the live-action series. You do not need to read the webtoon unless you want to see a different story as the live-action and webtoon does have a little difference.

The overall story is light. Only a thing or two that is the exciting part of season 1. To be honest, I think QR is more suitable being LSY. I mean Zhang Yu Xi potrays LSY well but I think compare to the webtoon series QR has the face of being LSY. The height, the face, the hairstyle. As for LSY brother, I think they should find someone taller with a bigger body frame as that is what I feel from reading the webtoon. For SH, I think they should get someone who have more ‘power’ aura compare to XB.

If you can get past the wooden acting, awful dubbing and the extremely low budget, there's a lot to like about this lighthearted little show out of China.

The vampirism of the female lead Li Shi Ya (Zhang Yu Xi) is not particularly well-mythologised but is of a peculiarly no-muss, no-fuss kind. She feeds off energy through physical contact so is thrown for a loop when she gets a taste of the life force of the seemingly-delicious Jiang Zhi Hao ( Xing Zhao Lin), who is an extreme germaphobe that avoids all physical contact.

The acting of both leads is particularly woeful and the atrocious dubbing did not help. The budget is so obviously tiny that even the set dressing looks cheap and the leads seems to wear the same outfits for days on end - a particularly bizarre decision for a female lead who's supposedly a supermodel.

There is, however, a certain charm to the male lead's earnestness that makes you understand why this vampire model falls for him. The show also regularly subverts the standard romance tropes of Chinese dramas in a way that's refreshing. Shiya is rarely coy about her desire to touch her "prey" and his consistently-mature response to this seemingly-sex-crazed stalker in his life is extremely appealing.

I could have rated this lower but it was slightly better than the sum of its parts.

Honestly, I didn't hate this drama, but I didn't love it either. The acting was...not good. The story was alright. But the cinematography was honestly super beautiful and it was honestly a good laugh because of how bad the acting was. The romance was really cute especially when you find out at the very end why Zhi Hao's aura was special to Shi Ya. Everything tied up perfectly at the end and that is all we could hope for in this drama. It was cool watching something with a supernatural flare, plus it was all really pretty to watch, but that was the only thing this drama had going for it. I think I might have given this drama a higher score because my roommates and I had a good laugh. I don't understand, honestly, why this drama is currently a 9.1/10 on Viki, which is a higher score than Sweet Dreams, which blows my mind!! I wasn't a fan of any of the side characters except for Simba's...human...friend. I only say that because I was unsure what Simba's relationship was with this guy. I feel bad because I don't even remember his name. Basically, Simba is in a C-pop boy group and we are not sure if it is a duo group with him and this other guy, or if there are more guys in the group that we just don't see. His "friend" knows about vampires, and becomes almost like Simba's lapdog so he doesn't have to go out and hunt for human aura. I only really liked him as a side character because whenever there was an issue, he would stay super neutral and try to understand both sides, while everyone else picked one side and wouldn't budge. He was Shi Ya and Zhi Hao's biggest supporter and didn't care who knew. It was funny how someone who willingly wanted to be Simba's lapdog would be the only one with any moral compass in this drama. Other than that, maybe Shi Ya's younger brother was the second favorite, but we only saw him for a little bit in a couple of episodes. He was funny and he would go off an do his own thing and dated a human girl. Everyone else...Shi Ya's sister was too proud and thought she was better than everyone else, but changed her mind a lot and we were expected not to notice; Shi Ya's manager was super oblivious and didn't realize the guy she loved was a half-vampire who was the bad guy in season one; and even the two mains were a tad annoying. Once Zhi Hao became cured of his germaphobia, he became obsessed with Shi Ya. It was cute how much he loved her and how he rejected the thought of Shi Ya using him and she didn't love him, but homeboy got really stalkery. Shi Ya on the other hand refused the thought of maybe Zhi Hao just didn't like her and she chased him until he loved her, but then once she finds out this huge secret, she shuns the hell out of him. Like...homegirl, really? I understand you don't want to hurt him, but throughout this whole drama, you were trying to prove to everyone that because of your love for him, you wanted to find a way to make it work, even it that meant cutting back on your make out sessions. But randomly, in season two you decide that it ain't worth it and you basically gave fake promises to your man. But it was fun seeing Zhi Hao have some life in him and do the chasing in that season. I just didn't like how she was selfish and didn't care if loving her would change his life completely, but then reject him when he proposed to you and break up with him.

I watched this drama when it was airing ,It was romantic but, it wasn't even a bit comic . It was sad romantic story. I like dramas with a good ending but i didn't even saw a good ending ( i know there is a season 2 but i don't understand why would you make a season 2 when you can just add more series to season 1 . I think if you make a season 2 it should create a new story , a new interest) it is obviously my opinion so don't judge me . I know i should've watched another series , but i saw these series with my 5 friends and all of that agreed that it should've been more interesting . I hope my review will help people to understand what they saw wrong or not interesting in this drama . And i love all hard work for us from actors .
