Yoon Eun Hye is one of my favorite Korean actresses. This drama starting out well. I will give any drama she is in a try. Moved at a great pace. It did not have that same K-romance theme love triangle and their love grew pretty quick. With that said, this drama should have been 8 episodes instead of 15. Most of it was bad filler with no meaning and unanswered questions about some of the other characters. The acting was great in my opinion and the story was good but the execution falls short. There were way too many flashbacks in this drama.

Only half of the drama was actually good. There was so much they could have done way better, the potential was there, even though the theme was cliché-ique.

I enjoyed the start but while the story went on, it started to become a really bad and ridiculous makjang. I mean, you can create really evil people who make you pull out your hair or want to pull out theirs and STILL respect them as well written characters. And then there are these people here who provoke the same reactions but their actions are just way over the top (and I actually liked the evil female second lead at first).

There's also the thing with story development. People argue and promise and threaten to do and/or say/reveal things, but right after that the story seems to completely forget about that and only remembers to mention it like 4 episodes later - and still without results. In the second half NOTHING actually happens, there's no progress at all.

At the end most of the bad guys have a sudden change of heart and start to act out of character. And everything is a happy ever after. The worst thing though were the bad dialogues in the last episodes. Every conversation sounded like a cliché advise for life, the cheesy ones that make you roll your eyes. And they didn't feel like conversations between close friends or family either. More like interviews between the actors. As if they've totally forgotten about their characters.

The last episode was the biggest waste of time. It went from one conversation to another without anything happening, except for that last incident which was nonsense and totally unnecessary.

I wish they would have shown more about the public reaction in the second half. They almost completely forgot about it, even though they made it a big point in the beginning. I wanted to see how the public's view changed throughout the drama.

Most of the BG music was kinda annoying at times as well. It constantly reminded me of Final Fantasy (the game) whenever you have to run through the fields to hunt monsters or visit villages (I don't get annoyed by that in the game, but it was unnerving in the drama).

BUT special points for Chun Jung Myung's cutesy in this one. He surprised me quite well.
And there was one really nice song.

I've never written a review of any Kdramas no matter how dope it is until now. Maybe because it made me despise the time that I wasted by watching this and want to spare everyone their time too. I adore Yoon Eun Hye, the male protagonist and the story started out well hence I watched the show but it eventually went berserk!!!! Way worse than Uncontrollably Fond! What a waste of good cast for sure. The first few episodes fueled the chemistry for both characters but the last few ones felt like they were just trying to wrap things up and added a lot of unnecessary stuff that was completely irrelevant or served no real meaning. If I could just rate lower than 1 for the rewatch value, I certainly would. Dang, what a total waste of time!!!!!

This is really a boring drama and waste time for talent actors. A history nonsense and really stupid! It’s so poor and lot a time has been boring, empty (there were a lot of the flashback!) and no chemistry. I’m sorry because I loved Coffee Prince drama and Eun Hye has been a great actress but in this drama was too low level for her. Really disappointed in this drama intolerable to watch and I don’t understand who voted 10 ????. I cant believe I watched it until the end , lol. Never watched a drama worse than this . What a shame !

This is my first time to write a review and It's a very good drama to watch ????????

The drama is something that make your heart flutter (from the title itself????) the cast, the music and mostly the story I like how the story starts till how it ends (a perfect closure w/ wedding event with his and her family attending????) I already watch similar dramas like this wherein there is that either a guy or a girl who is connected to a rich family etc. But the drama plays it perfectly and just like what I said earlier the last episode clears all the misunderstanding and conflict of the story (although I feel sad and pity for Kang hye Jo fate ????) but overall the drama is wortg watching over and over again if you want a drama that makes you forget all yoir worries for a moment then I would highy recommend this drama for you????????????????

I really really really tried to finish this one. But the story was so tiring that I couldn't commit to it. So, here I am, twelve episodes later, finally giving up on it. So, overall, the story was predictable, unoriginal and bad. The couple didn't really have chemistry, to top that. Also, the pace was slow, and, in addition to the weak twists, made this drama boring. The few positive things about this drama were: the actors, especially the ones in the side stories. Plus, I loved the guy who played the second lead in the love triangle. And, the leading lady was really adorable. The procuction wasn't that bad as well. But, as I am dropping this one (and a few dramas had actually succeeded in making me drop them...) I can't really give this one more than two stars...

first of all even the story was repeated but it was new and nice
this drama wasn't bad as the harsh reviews said but it had 2 main points that made it under rated

first the production .. reducing the cost starting from fashion till the make-up and scenes
second the directing which made this drama got injustice

i enjoyed the drama till ep 13 then the romance goes down the hill as if they forgot all about it
due to the poor production
the make-up was extremely awful showing the defects of all the actors faces
and the out scenes was really poor
and most of the actors weren't good really even the old ones
the good actors you can count down them on one hand

due to the directing
the shots and lights were really bad
and when they show a product for the sponsors during the drama the director made it in a very unprofessional way

the best role goes to kang hye joo although she had no face expression and emotionless literally

Chun Jung Myung i really love him as an actor but his role was really depressing
the director most of the time failed to deliver the right feeling
like when he should be panic when Yoon Eun Hye trapped in fire
i got the feeling that he was watching as if he is in front of tv news not having a phobia

and when he was obliged to leave her i saw him helpless instead of being sad or broken
and when he should making her feel secure he left her without a single msg to explain or secure her
and many other reaction that was really weird

all what he is doing against hye joo
just saying.... please hye joo STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING .. REALLY !!!!!!! :/

and what that end ????? PLEAAASE T_T :\
what the hell!!!
you didn't see her for a whole year how could u act as if u just saw her from 5 min. ago ?????
and what that silly , incomplete side story for yoo joon and min ah ???

really the directing was a whole rubbish >_<
due to it the drama really failed :(

For those attempting to watch this drama, i'll recommend you to watch this only if you are really bored and have nothing else to watch!

The first six to seven episodes were really entertaining, and it will hook you to watch this fluffy drama, but the latter parts of the show really bore me no matter how impressive and promising the start was, and no matter how much i like the actors in this drama. It would have been better for me if they'd cut this to 10 or 12 episodes instead, because it truly felt like a forced and dry makjang drama to me by the latter parts to just add some more plot to the story.

However, I must say the actors were really good in executing their roles, the only real problem was the bad writing and story plotting for this drama. The evil character was really good at expressing and acting out her frustration. She really looked mean, it just lacked the powerful scenario. The writer decided to just remove her into the story, without a really strong exit.

I must say the casting was great, the outfits/ fashion in this drama was really good, and OSTs are very nice to listen to, that its just sad that the plot line and the story build up has gone to waste.

I had high expectations about this drama since it has Yun Eun Hye and Chun Jung Myung as the leading couple. The drama, although it has some cute and heartwarming moments, lacks enthusiasm. The overall tone is somber and somewhat tragic for a romantic comedy. Main characters’ voice intonation on the drama sounded mechanical and lacks the proper emotions. I am very disappointed with the overall performances on this drama. Although the storyline was good, the script was poorly written and it became a real waste of talent. Sadly, the chemistry between the lead couple lacks passion and warmth.

You know that feeling when you want to sneeze but nothing happens?......

That's exactly how it felt watching the middle to end episodes of this drama. It has a great promising start with lovely chemistry between the leads (Yoon Eun Hye never disappoints when it comes to chemistry with her co-stars) However, the show loses direction and fails to really take off.

The story is all over the place in the sense that a lot of things appear to be happening but the plot really goes nowhere. Show lacks momentum and some dramatic situations which should propel the show forward are completely not followed up on and just glossed over. The male lead is most times ineffectual who for most of the story is well and truly hamstrung by the very people he vehemently denounces.

The love story is initially developed very nicely albeit haltingly in the earlier episodes. lt fizzles in the middle episodes because the lovers have little to no interaction with each other at a time that their relationship development could have benefitted from experiencing the tough times as a solid and unified pair; in fact as the story plods on the two leads spend little time together so as a viewer there are very few opportunities to actually enjoy the love story.

Episode 12 is particularly frustrating because so much could have happened but didn't.
The drama should have been shorter, then maybe it would have flowed better. The story is portrayed so inefficiently that I even entertained the thought that the main couple should not end up together.

In a nutshell this drama has an excellent cast with an inadequate script and poor directing.

Overall 6 out of 10, and only because the cast is good.

A few months before the airdate of this drama I was all over the place. Yoon Eun Hye was to take on a drama after such a long time, my fav actress! From day one I started watching, watched 8 episodes and one day I woke up a few months later realising I didn.t finish this drama. So it s 28.08.19, I have to study so of course I m searching for stuff to do instead studying and i try rewatchig this. What happened? I paused the ep 30 mins in and went on another site and played a random episode of Lie to me (a drama of hers) to cheer me up after seeing such a poorly thought drama. It s bad, it s really bad.
ACTUAL REVIEW starts here:
First of all the leads: She is great, will always be but this role isn t really for her. Not because she can t handle it, because she is too good for it and the role has nothing to offer. The guy? Never heard of him, so I don t really understand why is he the one acting next to Eun Hye. I don.t hate him, I found him quite cute, could have been worse. The other characters are poorly developed as well and are played by unexperienced actors (in my opinion, I might be very wrong on this one). And I don t have a problem with an actor starting out, because they need to get that experience from somewhere but there are too many new actors so the drama looks stupid.
The dialogue is really poorly structured, the story is not well thought through,I didn t even realise there was even music in the backgroud (so that sucks too).
The worst part? It is very boring. I can say I know many other stupid dramas. But none like this one. I can say You re beautiful or Secret garden which are so old and actually a little cringe to watch now are still better. And there s a gap of at least 6 years (i think) between them. Oh, and I am still excited about rewatching those two, no matter how cringey.
So yeah, even though it breaks my heart, don t watch it even if you re dying of boredom..

One might go "Not another contract-relationship based drama!" when they first read the synopsis for this. But I'd recommend them all to give it a try first. While it is true, that it rehashes the years old premise, the exposition here is very entertaining. Touted as Yoon Eun Hye's comeback drama, being her first in 5 years (and to some extent Chun Jung Myung's too as the last time he did a drama was back in 2016), the drama had a lot of hype pre-airing and it hasn't disappointed so far. The chemistry is very strong between the two leads and it seems far more natural than I expected it to be as they settle into their awkward faux-relationship. It's one of those dramas which starts of slow, but seems to get better by the episode. It's like a warm throwback to the dramas of mid-late 2000s. I'd recommend it to people looking for a fun romcom to watch.
