On the one hand this movie is a really sweet, young love, romance story. I liked that a lot. It was so cute and both main characters did a very good job portraying their age and love for each other.
Now, on the other hand, the love and story seems incongruent to what is actually happening. Jenny is 15?Korean years? and she becomes pregnant. This is where I had the problem with the story. When it ended I really was left wondering what the point of the whole movie was.
The pregnancy situation was EXTREMELY UNREALISTIC,IMO.There were no consequences to becoming a teen parent. No moral, physical, social, etc. consequences. The girl didn't even get morning sickness or lose her flat stomach. Having a baby is a beautiful thing, but it is also difficult and a huge responsibility. The movie showed none of that. Everything was sweet, rainbows, and roses. From what I could see. There was really no conflict, and the little conflict there was, was not presented strongly enough.
Were they promoting teen pregnancy? Sex education?.IDK Even the sound track was very childish. There was even a scene were they show a video on what happens in an abortion that was very one sided. I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with abortion, just that the scene was presented in what in the USA is called, ProLife, kind of way.
Anyway, it was sweet, but the topic was handled in very unrealistically.

So today after school I was really bored and looking for something to watch. I was planning to continue Lucky Seven but realized that I want to watch a Korean movie after a long time. And I haven't watched many K-movies either. This was my 4th K-movie.
THIS IS WHERE THE REAL REVIEW BEGINS :D
Anyhow, the plot of the movie was very good. Main reason why I decided to watch this was the plot. Mainly because it's really similar to my all-time fav j-drama 14-sai no Haha.
Acting was...well how could I say it. The main actor and actress were REALLY CUTE. They were so cute that I couldn't concentrate on the acting...Plus I always kept comparing the actress of Jenny to Shida Mirai's superb acting in 14-sai no Haha. So acting in this one didn't blow me out.
When the music started for the 1st time I thought it was really cute and catchy. Then while the movie went on the music stayed the same, only singers changed. So I got annoyed of the fact that the music was repeating and repeating again.
I think I won't be re-watching this. I usually don't re-watch series/movies unless they're something "special" to me or unless they blew my mind out while I watched them.
So overall this was a cute movie but nothing special. Thus I'll give this a 6.
Thanks for reading my review ^^

Yes, the actor and actress are absolutely adorable. But since this was a "Pregnant and 15" movie, it was weird since they looked like kids.
I couldn't wrap my mind around how they were 15 when they looked 12.
Also, it was kind of also very unrealistic how the girl is supposed to be pregnant, but throughout the movie, she has NO baby bump...
Overall, it was a very cute movie with an overload of cuteness and sweet moments between the lovers. The plot was enjoyable, but this is a "Watch Once" kind of movie.
Hope this was helpful :)

An excellent movie for ALL AGES!
This is one of the sweetest movies I have ever seen! The acceptance of Jeni being pregnant and their combined decision to have and keep the baby is so heartwarming...
The cinematography is great, music is superb, and the cast do an excellent job in their respective acting roles!
Combining the moral decision of keeping the baby with the sweet middle-school antics of two kids falllng in love with other, plus just enough comedy to keep your interest alive (boys running into the goal post while looking back at his girl; girl jealous when she thinks he snuck a kiss with another girl; et al).
Over halfway through, both sets of parents finding out about the 'secret', Jeni and Juno's plans almost fall apart, but with the help of last-minute 'friends' their hopes of having the baby are fulfilled!
Well worth the watch, and an occasional re-watch is also recommended...especially if you like a sweet couple's story and good, clean comedy as well!

The acting was fine and the actors made thier characters believable.
This movie wasn't that enjoyable to watch so i'm not sure if i'd watch it again or not.

I am surprised Kim Hye-sung has not gone on to do a lot more.
As for the issue of teenage pregnancy, it could not be made fluffier if they tried.
The idea of a 15-year old, handling such a big secret in this way, is ridiculous.
It was all just too fantastical for me and lacked substance.
The film was a mess really, not funny enough to be classed a comedy, not tense or emotional enough to be a melodrama and not deep enough to be a decent drama either. That was a main problem.
Either write it as a comedy, in which case keep it light, avoid the issue of abortion and make the main characters older by a couple of years.
Or, make it a serious piece of work on a difficult topic and have the characters go through what would be an incredibly traumatic experience for all concerned, in a realistic way. That would need more focus on the families and less on their peers doing strange musical type turns and behaving like their friends had just won a teen idol competition!

The intention
I think that the cast and crew did well it's just the screen writer who misses some parts of a pregnancy the baby bump can be explained some women in the slim side often don't look like they're pregnant so that part I will leave. Over all I do love this movie for the parents and their friends to support them in the end made me happy sure they're parents and friends and society who look down upon this topic and some who are accepting we've seem countless shows or short movies of the unacceptance it's about time we see something like this. I do not think being pregnant at a young age is a good thing but I do hope the young ones learn from this movie by taking responsibility like the main characters ofcourse don't keep it hidden until it's too late tell your parents when you find out and then take responsibility of the new life that you and your partner both made. Was this review helpful to you?
