Both shows feature the main lead in a love triangle with two other men. One of which he had been in a relationship with for a while, and the other who is a new love interest who knew the main lead before they got into their current relationship.

Both have infidelity themes, mature elements, and passionate attraction, while doing a good job of telling all sides of the story.

Centered around love, and having the courage to love someone unconditionally. After watching this show, it made me think of Obsessed and a few other shows. The way love gives courage and helps to overcome fear of rejection.

If you are watching this Special without watching how it all began, you might be confused. Sure as a stand alone, the special can be enjoyed by its content, however, you have to see how Yan Fei and Huan Quin first became lovers.

Both have darker, more mature themes and romances involving temptation and irresistible attraction with intense chemistry.

Both of these stories feature a more mature angle on BL/Gay Relationships. Dark Blue and Moonlight is heavier than WBL, but the bittersweet tone is tangibly similar between the two. They both follow a pair who face a long separation with feelings attached. Also, both of them are set outside of an educational setting.

Both of them involve two people who are just good for each other, despite having controversial backstories.

Both have themes of cheating/infidelity, if you like these types of themes you'll probably like this one too, has 12 episodes that are like 30 minutes long, makes you feel bad about some of the characters.

BL dramas. The cinematography is great in both, when watching Life on the line I was reminded immediately of Dark Blue and Moonlight. Also, in some part of the story one of the leads keeps looking for the other after they separate. The way they approach LGBT themes is similar.

They're both about adults relationship (work environment) and the intimate scenes are hot af. DBaM is a little bit gloomy in atmosphere, What The Duck is funnier.
Both features handome actors.
