Accidently in love isn't anything super unique. Definitely has some over done plotlines but despite this it was a fun and comedic love story. I like that both leads were fairly equal in that one wasn't conveyed as completely out of the others league in terms of either wealth or education. Story does get a little ridiculous towards the end of the show but ends happily.

Chemistry between the leads is there. I recommend watching if you aren't after anything too serious and need to take a break from reality.

Undercover love

9/10 is my rating. This is a 2018 Chinese Drama that spans 30, relatively short (~30 minute), episodes (so would equate to about 15 of the typical episodes for a lot of dramas).

Chen Qin Qing (Sun Yi Ning) comes from a wealthy family and escapes an arranged marriage by going to college in disguise as an ordinary, somewhat nerdy, girl. A chance encounter with “Your Highness”/Si Tu Feng leads to a series of interactions. Si Tu Feng is also a wealthy heir but has chosen to focus his time on being a leading pop star. The two develop an unlikely friendship and Chen Qin Qing drags Si Tu Feng along with her on the many adventures she creates. Chen Qin Qing finds the need to toggle between her actual look and the alter ego she has created based on the needs of the situation and those around her do not readily recognize her whenever she takes off her disguise. This is a fun and quirky love story.

Spoiler ? I was a bit disappointed that she did not go back to dressing beautifully. On one hand I get that it is really cool when someone can love someone regardless of how they look. But, for me, I found that can be taken too far. If you want someone to look less than their best because you may have some jealousy or insecurity - I am not completely comfortable with that either and that is why I rated it down.

Hangover :( .. I Really wish there were more episodes

So this was my first Chinese Youth Drama and definitely not the last one..

The Drama is Funny, Cute and AWW- dorable :)

Anyone who enjoy light hearted comedy series will fall in love with "Accidentally in LOVE".

I really enjoyed all the 30 episodes :*. for its cuteness. The Lead characters are really fun and their cuuute moments make you root for them. Gou Fiction and Sun Yi Ning did their parts well and supporting characters are also aptly chosen.
[Lin yi yang played by Zhao yi Qin is my favorite with his Bad Boy yet sensitive attitude portrayal. :D]

The story has its own flaws .. coz ..I wished they had elaborated the background story for each characters which they did in a " one to two line conversation" , so that we could feel more connected with the characters. Also even though we want to know more about them there is no way we can do it :( .

But the Main plot is very sweet and brings a smile every time when you watch a new episode which make you forgive any other faults.

The OST's are really nice and my personal favourite is "STAR" which is played in loop even when I am writing this :)

So.. if all you want is to Grab your pop corn, curl on the sofa..,watch back to back episodes and Grin like an idiot... this is the perfect one ..:)

Go watch and Enjoy

I never write reviews for things like this, however I felt like I had something important to say.
I loved the story line, thought it was cute, lighthearted and just a plain good Rom-Com. My only issue came around episode 25 up to 27. You can take my word on the fact that what happens here is just morally unacceptable and I'm very surprised this happened without any consequence to the people who did it. In fact, this very addition and lack of solving tampered my pretty much 10/10 view on the program.
Keep reading if you aren't bothered about spoilers or have seen the show, otherwise just click off and enjoy the show for what it is, as regardless of this I say its a great binge watch.

#SPOILERS#

I cannot believe that the emotional blackmail and manipulation was not even remotely addressed by any of the characters. Not only did this situation make me extremely uncomfortable, more than it should, I had to shout at my monitor in anger because nobody was doing anything to rectify the situation. Why did the writers ruin such a lovely plot with something quite frankly dark and disgusting, there was no need for it?? Blackmailing people with the threat of killing yourself if they don't date you is NOT OKAY PEOPLE! I don't like how this wasn't addressed at all. However, that being said, still enjoyed the rest of it.

This was a big no for me

I took a break cuz I couldn't handle that annoying girl meddling in someone's life she considered her friends when in reality she was absolutely insane and used her guilt to keep a guy close to her cuz her sister died in an accident that he was involved in. Once she finds out he was in a relationship her "best friend" appears and encourages her to act even more unstable to get the man she thought she owned. She even tries to kill herself twice! Her "friend" leaves still thinking her "friend" failed for not fighting or doing it right. They later try to make it seem like this batch shit crazy bitch got a happy ending but it was written badly, poor acting and you can tell they probably added on the parts with her getting with the pink hair guy to try to give her a happy ending after everything she did especially trying to break up a relationship, force a man that clearly didn't love her and everyone knew didn't love her, she probably had a feeling but refused to acknowledge it cuz she was crazy. When she gets dumped at the alter she wants to kill herself again. Right when the show introduces that plot the show is no longer good and it is poorly written. If they just kept the plot of the girl with the glasses trying to get her dad's approval of letting his daughter be independent and not have to be in an arranged marriage the show would have been 10 out of 10, but they had to continue the crazy "friend" who thought the singer was her property up until the very end of the damn show. it ruined the whole show for me the atmosphere changed and the show became cringy and not worth the watch if you are like me. Oh, and I forgot to add this part after everything this damn couple goes through right at the fucking end of the last ep they try to add more drama just cuz they want to separate the couple with two really huge life-changing opportunities that you'll be stupid to say no to but they both say no and stayed in China to stay together. The whole time I was like seriously what more do you want to add to this show even at the very last second, I'm surprised they didn't try a wedding scene for the 3rd time. I think they didn't add it cuz when you start the drama on the 1st ep you see the female lead running away from getting married cuz it was arranged and the 2nd was with that crazy girl near the end when she was using suicide as leverage to keep the singer as her property and to marry her. So I guess the writers had to draw the line in 2 wedding scenes.....

Exciting characters

It's hard for me to find something to watch and actually stick with, but this drama was extremely binge worthy. If you like strong female leads, this one is for you! It's about a rich girl pretending to be a poor one, but her personality is very confident and bubbly! It may seem annoying at first, but I think it's better than the shy girls that barely talk. This is a drama that is less mature, but I love it so much. The colors are vivid, making the drama even better and there are some funny parts. If I had to name something that I disliked, I would say how quiet Fang Fang is. She's like the opposite of Qing Qing (the main character). I do wish that there were more episodes of Qing Qing looking like her normal self, because she's stunning!
Plot: A girl named Qing Qing runs away from an arranged marriage to a college to find out more about her father. There, she meets a famous singer named Situ Feng. They hate each other at first, but eventually learn to like each other. His friend, also likes her. There is also some side romances as well. Another girl named Xinya tried to split Qing Qing and Situ Feng apart. Overall, most of the characters' personalities are exciting so the drama isn't boring!

I accidentally came across this drama on Netflix, and I am very grateful that I did! If you're thinking about watching it, I recommend you do! It's so cute, and funny and interesting and addicting (in a good way). The storyline, is interesting in my opinion and the female main lead is such a cutie and I love independent and determined and strong she is in this series! They're acting skills are really good and I will definitely rewatch this in the future. It's a high school drama which is one of my favorites dramas to watch!
The evil, rich girl that tried to steal the male lead really gets on your nerves, be warned aha XD >.<.

This is an extremely addictive character driven romcom, I had an insane amount of fun watching it. Make no mistake though the story is absolute trash, nothing makes sense plot wise, luckily in this genre that's not too important. Despite the terrible plot & setting I was ready to give it 10/10 just for the sheer entertainment value. The reason why I didn't is because I did not like the events that happened in EP25-27 & the ending felt a bit too generic, the fun died down a bit for the last few episodes.

edit: the rewatch value is not nearly as good as I thought. The comedy is not the "it gets me every time" type and there is not much else of value going on here.

This drama was too cute! It was pretty light and very easy to follow. Some parts felt a little dragged on to me but it's definitely worth a watch if you've got some downtime or need something really cute and airy. The songs are sweet and help make the show and it doesn't hurt that the main character makes you swoon (that smile!!!!).

I absolutely adored the story and loved that there was a happy ending. but several things REALLY bothered me. For one, nobody put the 'mean girl' in her place. She was constantly babied, pitied and looked after. For once, I just wanted someone to give her a reality check. I understand the circumstances and why they hadn't but COME ON. Like, that alone impedes me from giving this drama the full ten stars.

Situ Feng was all around adorable but I also didn't get or like why he insisted she kept on with that "costume" - given that everyone already knew what she looked like or **BIG SPOILER** why they couldn't make it work with him in the states and her eventually following or him following her. Also didn't understand why he couldn't fully keep his career.

I don't know if there is a season two but I sure hope there is as this was ridiculously adorable.

Typical drama. Nothing new and exciting but fairly entertaining

This is your typical high school, er college, drama. A lot of silly fights, misunderstandings, etc. I've seen better but I've definitely seen worse. I was entertained by it so it was good for something, I suppose! I'm giving the cast a 10 because I think the actress who plays her friend Yiyi (I think that's her name) is absolutely gorgeous. The rest of the show is watchable. I have to come up with some more to say to make this hit five hundred characters but can't think of anything else. Hopefully this will do that truck and I can post it.
