I highly recommend this drama for anyone who is searching for something sweet, funny romantic but not really dramatic. The actors and actresses in this drama are all beautiful and above all, our main character can sing really well. I can’t help falling in love with Si Tu Feng’s angel voice and the catchy rhythm of all the soundtracks, especially the song named “Star”.
The best part of this drama is the end of episode 27/30. When Si Tu Feng had to engage with a girl he did not love to prevent her from suicide, he suffered a lots and felt guilty with his real girlfriend Chen Qing Qing. However, with the support of Quin Quin’s grandfather – he encouraged her to chase for what she liked and dreamed of – QuinQuin decided to stopped the engagement party. The most epic moment of the drama was when QQ came into the cathedral, using the “shake hand ticket” with Si Tu Feng to shake hand in 5 seconds with him. (For every album there was a ticket designed by QQ, which offered a fan can shake hand with their idol in 5 seconds). However, QQ not only had 1 ticket but she had hundreds of them ? All the tickets fell down from the ceiling right in front of the amazing reaction of all the guests. Meanwhile, Si Tu Feng was so touched by this moment so he decided not to let go of his real love easily. He held QQ’s hand and ran away before apologizing to the girl he did not love at all. He couldn’t lie to himself, his friends and family anymore.
For me, I consider this scene is one of the best stunning moment which makes me replay many times to watch it again. The song “Star” was played right in this moment made it more romantic than ever.
I really hope for more and more drama like that. I think I would recommend this here for everyone. Hope all of you will give this drama a try.

I gotta tell...It is the most exciting Chinese Youth Drama I have ever seen in 2018!

The Story is so cute, funny and romantic. Ill recommend this drama to put it in your watchlist especially young MDL users. The story is so Good and very well organize, well it has flaws but only a little bit if you notice it.
'
This is story is about love and friendship. The story is getting better on and on. It makes you to watch more episode because it does not leave you hangging

Gou Fiction did a job well done of building his character and its improving episode by episode.
Sun Yi Ning also did a great job for acting as a two characters base on hiding her identity.
The other Actors and Actresses did great too to support the plot really well.

The OST's are very nice especially the "STAR" by Gou JunChen because of it's lyrics that I can feel the feelings in it. The OST "To be Your Love" is really cute. The OST's are motivating you to watch another episode. I have download all the OST's in this drama, you better download it too ;)

I have put this as the 1st in Favorite Youth Drama list.

What are you waiting for watch it now!

Why do they normalize so much toxicity?

I'm still shocked how they normalize threatening someone with suicide and jealousy. The lead girl revealed herself but because her boyfriend was jealous she became "ugly" again. How on Earth is this acceptable? He was willing to marry a girl he didn't love because she threatened him to kill herself and no one told her to see a therapist? I don't understand.
It was cliché and painful to watch. The acting was not bad, but the characters are annoying. The only good point was the music.
I guess you can watch this drama if you decide to unplug your brain, but if you begin to think about how problematic it is, you never stop.

Did I accidentally switch to Chinese Disney Channel? Lmaooo what even was this cheesy one-dimensional mess of a show? Cliches GALORE, it was like a paint-by-numbers teen rom-com

- The female lead disguised as a nerd (glasses, freckles, hair, clothes, she’s covered it all)
- The guy is the most handsome guy in school (apparently), they even call him ‘your highness’. To top it all off, he is an idol singer too
- The 3 popular mean girls
- The 2 dumb minions of the ‘bully’
- Is this even university, it feels more like high school

Lol is this what all web dramas are like?

But god it bugged me so much she just kept her nerd look? Like, why? Because her bf didn't like her attracting attention??? Bro you are an IDOL SINGER

Anyways, I could not stand this drama. I had to push myself SO hard to watch it. The 20 minute episodes felt like an hour.

But the biggest WTF in this trash (spoiler!!!!)
was the ‘mean girl’ turned straight up psychotic and tried to kill herself because the boy she had a crush on found a girlfriend????? She literally FORCED him to be with her (and marry her??? within 2 days??) otherwise she would commit suicide. What the actual f*ck.

Then she finds love with the pink haired gay guy??? What even WAS this show

Is about college in-name only. More like another pointless and meaningless high school drama

Don’t be mislead about the show’s premise. Expected a funny and lighthearted yet poignant college drama. Instead, got a drama where the characters live at a high school. No studying, exams or deadlines. No stressing out about future after graduation. Instead, the characters just sit around a home room (exactly like a high school, like what kind of college do you sit at a home room lol). Put Your Head on My Shoulder and Love O2O are great examples of dramas set in college. This is just a farce. The main female lead literally spends all her time in class planning some sort of antics instead of studying like wtf.

The characters are okay but the premise was so incredibly misleading. The best B plot is with the lead and her roommates financial situation.

It was good at first, the story was interesting, a little exaggerated but good, but by the middle of it, they started coming and going, getting together then fighting for the silliest reasons...
Also I waited the hole series to see the main female character live as who she is, with no make up or hiding, to see the contrast with her time as a "duck", but after she reveals herself in just 1 episode she decides to go back to hiding her real self cos her boyfriend is jealous... it's 2018!!! really are we still hiding our beauty cos a guy feels threaten? PATHETIC.

This drama is the definition of a hot mess. Don't get me wrong I did enjoy watching it, however I'm not sure if that had anything to do with how good it was or if it was just out of the sheer ridiculousness of it all.

Obviously in dramas there are always going to be scenes or plots that are a little questionable, but this drama was so riddled with plot holes that I'm convinced it must be satire. You really need to take it all with a grain of salt otherwise you'll just pull apart every scene with reasons why it makes no sense and not be able to enjoy it. It felt like I was watching a children's cartoon come to life because it was just so absurd.

Also, every plot felt rushed. They would introduce a new problem, and then 30 seconds later it was solved and they were on to something else. Every single episode played out this way.... It was very strange.

I sound like I'm taking a dump on this drama but I'm really not, because all of these reasons that make it bad also strangely... Make it good? I can't imagine this being in anyone's top 5, but this drama is a wild ride and definitely worth the watch.

If the scale allowed me to rate dramas in negative, I would. Worst drama ever. I swear. The protagonists were sooooo annoying and the fight scenes were horrible. My 10 year old nephew can do better fight scenes than that.
I understand that you wanted to portray the lead female as a fun bubbly girl but she just came out as plain annoying and silly. Girls are not like that (thankfully) and if they were, they would be admitted to mental asylums.
Oh wait. I am not even exaggerating. In one scene we see that Situ Feng's manager asks her to meet him. They were not close and it was there second meet probably. What Qing qing does is, she goes to meet him, sees him, jumps a bit for some reason and slaps him on the back. Who greets people like that? The best part about a good drama is being able to relate with the emotions of the characters.
The story was not bad but the execution was a disaster. There was nothing natural about the drama it was just a lot of F grade overacting.
I watched A love so beautiful and then this. My mood came crashing down so bad. Ughhh disappointed.

I really love this drama. I love how this drama is quirky, funny, enjoyable, light and so much fun to watch. There's no single episode that I get bored. I really love Si Tu Feng and Chen Qing Qing: their character development and innocence.

The plot is not something really extravagant. It's simple, light and cute, but not that childish.

I love the songs in this drama.

Honestly, I cant think of anything I hate or dislike in this drama. I cant suggest anything that will make this drama better. Eventhough it can be finish in lesser episode, it's not dragging and still wish to watch it more.

I will surely miss drama.. This is such my daily dose of happy pill.. One of my fave drama to date.

After the disappointment of Please Love Me, the first 12-14 episodes of this Drama were a refreshing change. A VERY cute otp, and a sweet arc. I did wonder how they were going to fill 30 episodes, and sadly, they did it in the worst possible way.

Taking a leaf out of Taiwan's love of makjang filler episodes for romcoms, this one threw in everything to keep the otp apart and drag out the episode count. The whole "I'll marry her so that she doesn't make her quietus" story was head-desking material of the worst sort.

About the only thing the final third got right was reverting Chen Qing Qing to her freckled "disguise". I found her SERIOUSLY attractive in that look, distractingly so, and very much more so than the more generic look of her "real" self. because the OTP were good together, because they had the cute version end up as the real version and because the curly-haired freckled Ms Sun was rivetingly easy to look at, I was kind and gave this 5.

Only good as a filler series in 2020

Having watched this in 2021, the overacting from the FL is obvious. Likewise average support cast doesnt help. The one that shines is perhaps the ML in this series.

The plot is loose and full of loopholes and clichés. From episode 26 when ML is forced to leave FL and get engaged with 2FL just because 2FL commit suicide is a little extreme for such a light hearted drama. Especially when in episode 25 ML just confessed his relationship with FL. Only to have FL buy alot of ML's album for a 5 secs handshake and to appear at the engagement of ML and 2FL. Yup that will stop the 2FL's suicidal attempts surely lol.

Overall this series is only good as a filler series running in the background. However the Singer character that ML plays is at least convincing with decent OST.

I was looking for something to watch on Netflix and I always look for trending shows when I've stumbled upon this drama. When I first started it, I was clueless about the drama. It was your typical, cliche, romcom and school drama. The story was unrealistic and predictable. Honestly, I even wanted to drop it off around the first few episodes because I kinda felt off. The characters at first were a bit too much. I like lighthearted and fun dramas, so when I've read the reviews about this drama, I decided to give it a chance.

It was a love-hate relationship for me and the drama. There were so many plot holes. I was super skeptical thinking if I am just wasting my Netflix subscription or it is something worthwhile. But when I've reached the middle, the hate (from love-hate) is slowly disappearing. I'm becoming to love it! I used to only look for the flaws the first few episodes but when I've been into it I'm starting to disregard it and see how charming it is. The character and the story development was seen.

The chemistry of the leads were so good! They freaking look so good together! I can't help to squeal because they were so fluttering! I also love Chen Quing Quing's strong personality. I dig strong woman. I hate dramas wherein they always make the female lead damsel in distress. Who said girls can't stand up strong?

Adding the side casts, they were also good. I liked Nan Xi, Fang Fang. Yi Yang and Mu Nian. The actress also did a great job portraying Xin Ya. I just didn't like the typical bestfriends falling for the same girl and a second lead mean girl. It was so cliche, but as I've mentioned, the whole story was cliche so it didn't matter.

All the music was so nice. Our boy, Situ Feng really sings well. I wish there's a Spotify playlist for this drama because they were captivating.

All in all, if you're looking for something to watch to have fun I would literally suggest this one.
