Really Good

this was a very good Thia drama. Usually thia dramas are light and fluffy and you can see the holes in the storyline, but this one waa good.
I really hated Sida.... i mean really hate her. I think i will hate her forever, that bc thr actress playing her was that good.
Sila was easy on the eyes to me so he could've done anything and it wouldve been fine with me.
The fl (sorry cant remember her name) was so annoying. If she called his name ONE MORE TIME!!! And her sister was no threat at all.
Overall this was a good one.

Many people credit Tor, and forget about his co-star Fern, who is also very professional in her acting as a new actress entering the entertainment industry. The fact that she just started her acting career and performed exceptionally well in Hua Jai Sila shows a lot that she is a great actress, and that it does not take her to play many lakorns just to become a great actress. SO I give Fern a lot of credit, and that does not mean I've forgotten about Tor.

Tor has great emotions and acting ability. There's not one scene that he comes off as forcing or unnatural. Every scene, he portrays his character effortlessly. Sometimes, I forget that I'm watching a lakorn.

Together, Tor and Fern make the lakorn an A+ because they both put in a lot of effort and sincere emotions into their characters and in addition, they both have GREAT chemistry. I'm telling you, I've watched too many lakorns to list off awkward couples who force their chemistry which comes off as unlikeable.

Furthermore, all cast members in Hua Jai Sila done a very great job in their acting, which is one reason to watch this lakorn.

Concluding, the director, the scriptwriter, and the producer has all done a very good job at producing Hua Jai Sila. The storyline is well-developed and makes sense. I can tell that everyone worked very hard on this drama. Now that the drama is in the ending stage, all we have left is the conclusion of the lakorn.

Love Fern & Tor, and Hus Jai Sila! I recommend watching this drama.

Started well but

The story itself started well and really expected something beautiful, but it let me down completely.

The actress is so plain, i mean her acting and the whining character itself. No self respect at all. I do really wonder in lakorns, why women writers can come up with something like this. Mostly of the time the dramas, lakorns an romantic staff are watched by women, so as a woman would you really forgive things like that.
The ML sleeping with her sister and after coming to her and say "what i had with your sister is different as with what i have with you". Omg forgive me if i can understand such an overhelmed statement. Really? Having sex is already a pleasure, you kissed her, you touched her, you did all the things with another woman and you claim you love her so much. When you love someone you choose a different method of revenge. Also there is so much of unwanted physical contact to the FL, i would say as a sexual harassment, it could be good to have a bold man, but not to the point you feel uncomfortable.
Anyway this is my rant and i do understand that in lakorn this things happen all the time, but i still get frustrated.
Maybe i didn't love anyone to the point to forgive such a thing and get happily married afterwards.

Nice story but annoying female lead therefore the romance failed because u will hate her

The story was good. The male lead is very talented and carried his character perfectly but why is the female lead fkng annoying. Its maybe not her fault but u really fell like pulling all your hair out watching her. And i even skipped the supposedly romantic scenes because i hate her that much. The female lead character was dumb, helpless , judgemental and not attractive at all (although shes pretty cute face in real). Its like throughout the drama all she did was:
1) put up a constipated face (Either that or cry cry)
2) Say Pitorrrr Pitoorrr Pitorrrrrr Pitorrrr
3) Struggle struggle and push push sometimes for no reason...like duhhhhhhhh
U'd feel like bitch slap her and wish it was her character that died in the drama instead of the super awesome cool badass Aunt Mam.

worth if you have time

It isn't the best drama, that's for sure, but it was pretty interesting. I wouldn't say I liked the ending, it was so unreal. It didn't reflect reality at all. No one would change their personality overnight.
The cast was incredible, full of good-looking actors and very talented. They made a good job portraying their role, especially the male lead which is INCREDIBLE. Totally fell in love with him. Min was the only character who annoyed me because of the lack of development. She literally had zero character development and did not help the story at all. She was also very limited, all she could have said was "Tor", "You are Tor", "leave my sister alone" and "Tor don't do it". I really wanted a strong FL for our ML since he is such a badass and amazing character. To be honest, I found myself many times asking what he likes about her despite the fact they knew each other since they were little. But still, I have to admit they had amazing chemistry. Didn't like the romance, but still bearable. The action was on point and our ML is just incredible. I also didn't like the music at all. Like, a big turn-off.

Heart-wrenchingly tense but also adorable heart warming

This story is actually sooo unique, it's very different from most dramas and the story's overall plot may seem like a cliché but the plot goes so much deeper and has sooo many layers it's amazing, it's anything but a cliché. It's absolutely amazing. One thing I loved about this drama was that it wasn't biased to show who was on the good side and who was in the bad. The storyline was presented in a way that didn't justify any of the characters actions but provided insight into why. It also showed the point of view of the villains and it was quite thought-provoking on who was at fault. The story is sooo interesting. It's about a guy that is bullied by his step mother and step brother for being born as the son of his father's mistress and it's about him, growing up and coming back to get revenge, while also reuniting with his childhood sweetheart and learning to let go. It's about how he makes mistakes and faces it's consequences and learns to let go and Love instead of Hate. It's very heart warming, but the Bad Boy-Good Girl trope is to kill for in this drama! The tension between the leads is mind-blowing! Another thing I loved was the ML's character development, if showed how he always had the soft spot for the FL, but he didn't just change for her overnight, it was a gradual change over a period of time. I loved that cause it's seemed more realistic and felt natural and drew me into the story more. Also the FL's wardrobe was sooooo awesome! Like I loved every piece of outfit she wore! And she rocked every outfit! Like WOW. However the wedding dress was quite surprising cause I expected a fun, warm and cheery style but the strong, bold and elegant style totally suited Mr.Sila's wife. The actors have done such a good job in this drama! And the cast and crew! I loved watched every scene, it was totally addicting, from the bold and attractive wardrobe, to the enticing music and the amazing action and chemistry on screen it was all such a delightful entertainment. Overall, this was a lovely drama was very melancholic but realistic and thought provoking while also being totally heart warming with Amazing tension with the Bad Boy-Good Girl trope! ?????❤️‍??❤️‍????

Would've had a higher score if it didn't piss me off

Sooo, I'm usually the type of person to only leave a comment in the comments section of MDL after I finish a drama, but I actually feel the need to rant in a full-blown review so here we go...

Story: So, the plot was mainly about revenge. The romance didn't really bloom till later on but it's nice to see our male lead actually have a lover and be happy amidst all of the hatred. I'm not gonna lie, this story was honestly really intense and I had a lot of moments where I had to pause the drama because I was just shocked at everything going on. It's a lot to intake. It's pretty fast-paced (a good thing) with lots of suspense/action/anticipation going on in each episode.

Ok, so, now here's the rant ok
First of all, if I could summarize my feelings after I finished the drama, it'd be: W T F
There were SO many scenes in the drama where I was just like WHY WHY WHY and honestly was just losing brain cells! There were just so many scenes where I was like 'that could have been avoided' or 'that did NOT have to happen at all'. It's as if the screenwriters were trolling me with some illogical nonsense and I just had to take it as the truth as told smh. They really out here feeding me some BS and expecting me to take it. No.
Also, killing off the characters to make things more dramatic... Some characters died so easily even though their cause of death wasn't that severe and then you have other characters that went through so much more and still remained alive like... make that make sense... Nonsense once again.
The villains were SO TWO-DIMENSIONAL so I was losing brain cells as well. I like my characters with a little bit more depth but the villains in here were just mad at the world or sum and they only have one brain cell that they share... I just can't smh.
One last thing is... this drama is NOT for sensitive people. If you are a feminist and/or feel strongly against misogyny and/or cannot tolerate insults against women regarding their body, I highly suggest you avoid this drama because they say A LOT of insulting things about women (women to women and men to women).

Acting/Cast: Literally the drama's strongest point is the acting and cast. Everyone's acting was on point. Not a single person was bad at acting. But kudos to the actor that played Tor/Sila. Sila is really complex character and this man really did go above and beyond to act as Sila. He carried the show for me. His expressions and moves were all amazing and his overall performance was superb!
Female lead is beautiful. She is soso pretty, I loveeee her smile but as for her character, I'd have to say she was a pain in the butt to watch in the beginning. The female lead was so quick to judge Sila and was resenting him based on her unconfirmed judgment lol. She annoyed me for a good chunk of the show but after they made up, her character turned decent.
The people who played the villains were great. So evil sheesh.

Music: It's decent, nothing caught my attention.

Rewatch value: Eh, not really I'm not tryna raise my blood pressure lol

Overall: I give this a solid 7.5/10
I clearly liked it because I kept watching until the end and didn't drop it but I also didn't like it because it pissed me off.

Bottom line is...
I would only recommend this for the acting, eye candy, and action, plus you get the satisfaction of Tor ruining Sida and Ae.
BUT if you're a person who loves logical shows and like complex characters, this is a solid PASS because you'll just end up confused, upset, and annoyed.

Great, but there’s 1 thing that could be better

This story and plot is really amazing. And the slow burn love turn it really was amazing. It had some wtf moments and some why moments that we all needed. I just wished they had better special effects. Especially when dealing with the shootouts and explosions. The actors did a impeccable job getting into their character and maintaining it. They had great emotions. The only thing that needed help was the effects, if it was better then That would have been the chefs kiss. OVERALL I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. JUST FINISH IT

It's an one man show --- TOR / SILA

Watching this show in June 2022, which is like 3 years after the release of this show and this is my 2nd Thai drama. I was heavily impressed with F4 Thailand so wanted to give one more Thai drama a go and stumbled upon this and there were just praises for this drama in the review and comments section. So gave it a go....

I have seen my fair share of korean and chinese dramas and i am neither a korean or chinese native but i thoroughly enjoy watching these shows. I binged this drama and for the most part of it i am satisfied with the drama.

STORY: Story is nothing new, a son who wants to avenge his and his mom's death. Though he survives but he wants to avenge against the people who made his childhood a hell.

The story actually very smartly justifies why a revenge is needed because the bad people are very strong / Powerful / fully loaded so even law cannot do anything to them. In the 1st episode itself they show how these evil people kill someone and nobody does anything despite giving a police complaint. All the CCTV footages will be gone, evidences will be gone which is why Tor/Sila decides to go his own way to take revenge and teach them a lesson. I actually support Tor in this as someone has to teach them a lesson rather than leaving everything on karma. They should taste their medicine or else evil people will never know how bitter the taste is. I know in all this Tor's aunt dies , though she is my favorite character but she dies due to her own foolishness. The silly mistakes she did and left a trail behind which led her to get caught for having an affair with Sida's sister's husband. So i don't blame Sila or his plan for this.

ACTORS: Like i mentioned in the headline that this is a one man show ---- TOR /SILA. This man whose actual name is also Tor oozes charizma. He was born to do this role. Whenever he is on screen , you just want to just stare at his face. Apart from being good looking, he is a brilliant actor too. He totally lived and breathed SILA. You can just see that fire in his eyes whenever he encountered these evil people. Actually i almost dropped this drama because of the brainless FL but this guy just pulled me back again until i finished the show.

Now coming to the other lead, our Female lead MIN-------My god!!! from where do i start. I Have never seen such a brainless, such an underwritten FL ever. I thought chinese dramas have the most brainless, annoying FLs ever. But this female MIN just takes away the trophy by a huge margin. Her character doesn't add anything to the story, nor there is an importance to her character. I so badly wanted to forward her scenes but most of her scenes were with SILA so i couldn't. She is extremely JUDGMENTAL, extremely PREJUDICED , extremely ANNOYING, extremely IRRITATING. My vocabulary is limited so i don't know if there is any other word which is the heighted version of EXTREME then i would use that. She started judging SILA from the get go, her reasoning were not backed by any proof nor data , its just what she believed because SILA owned a nightclub so she thought he is nothing but a filthy/bad person. Whenever she met SILA, she insulted him saying he is a bad person because his money is earned through a nightclub or by women selling their bodies. For this reason atleast i didn't hate KWAN so much because she never judged SILA because of his profession, not even once. So whenever she physically hit MIN , i didn't even feel an ounce of pity for her, infact i was happy because i thought atleast someone is teaching her a lesson. I think the original intention behind MIN's character is someone who is extreely good, who selflessly works for her family etc but none of that came across because of her judgmental character towards the ML. MIN's character didn't see any development till the end, i don't even know why they needed her character. Even if you remove her character still the story will flow without any hindrance as she added nothing to the story. All she did was Stalk and Harass SILA. She was behind him like a leech, who continuously looked for him and all the time same dialogues. She had only 4-5 dialogues in the entire show. " Your are Tor", "Stay away from KWAN", "Tor is dead to me", "I hate you" and in the later part of the drama "Tor don't take revenge""It's all in the past". In ep 19, for 10 -15 mins she just said P'Tor, P'Tor, P'Tor.......Writer just recycled these dialogues for her in every episode and i am not joking. Whoever is going to watch, if you are just curious then just randomly open any episode and just watch her scenes with SILA, you will understand. In one episode she will tell TOR is dead to me and in the very next episode she will go find SILA and just repeat those dialogues again. Not once SILA looked for her , infact every time she met him, she just jumped on him to remove his shirt to either see the ring or the scar. She kept meddling in ML's business with no results and kept doing it , i don't know for what reason...at one point i thought she is just finding reasons to go see SILA... In one of the episodes she just goes into men's changing room and takes picture of ML changing his clothes. I see it as molestation. Whatever might be the reason but she just takes many pictures of ML changing his clothes. What if he had done the same, took her pictures when she was changing her clothes then would she have accepted. And on the contrary she kept calling SILA a bad person who doesn't respect women...i was like "woman you were the one who took almost naked pictures of him". She kept harassing SILA in every episode and same dialogues everytime. In ep 20, her sister insults her when she sees that SILA is alive and her sister Min is going out with SILA, then Min will be like "I am used to used stuff, and i happy that he loves me" that was her dialogue to defend her man and her relationship....slow claps to the writer...In another episode, she goes to ML's house to tell him to stay away from her sister, then ML will be like its none of your business so just get out of my house but she keeps following him and keeps repeating the same dialogue and they eventually fall into the pool....then she hits him and he kisses her and she was be like i hate you and the same thing repeats in the next episodes. Makers should have just edited her scenes because i felt super repetitive. I think she was just there for the slap and kiss part, i mean i don't even see that as a kiss, its just keeping his lips on hers..that's it. He could have done the same with a wall or a door...nothing would have changed....anyway i can go on and on about her.....but will stop here...lol..

Other character's did justify their roles like SIDA who was a plain 1 dimensional villain and she excelled in that role. All other character's were good too except for MIN ...lol

LOGICAL VALUE: Lol.....I understood in the very 1st episode itself that i should switch off my brain while i am watching this....FL lives in a huge mansion with servents but she and her family is apparently poor. I was like if that is the definition of poor then i am penniless homeless lol...I don't know how it works in Thailand but if a bomb is related then it is considered as a terrorist activity and looks like anybody can get and plant a bomb, lol...also even if a major shareholder dies, it doesn't mean his stocks becomes invalid.....logic and this drama doesn't go hand in hand.....I was like ok if i question everything then i might probably won't go past ep 1, so i started accepting whatever they tried to show but in few scenes even my sleeping brain was like give me a break,,.....how is this even possible or even happening...

So......bottomline is
If you have really high tolerance then only take up this project....it can be either for logic or FL......i am not joking, MIN will get on to your nervous. In few episodes even TOR won't be able to save the scene because of her....

1- The story of the series was coherent and very interesting, and in each episode, important events took place one after the other, and it was really strong in terms of the script. I was constantly excited to see what would happen next, and the story was really great.
2- The actors played a great role.
3- Unfortunately, the characters were one-dimensional or two-dimensional, and the negative person became positive in an instant, or the violent person softened.
3- The relationship between the min and the sila had serious flaws and did not have the necessary subtleties at all, many of which pointed to the weaknesses of the character of the min, which I will not repeat here Because others mentioned it in the comments.
Min had a problem with Silas' philosophy of revenge from the beginning and was opposed to the end, and his character was a very soft character who believed that everything should be solved with love and revenge is more expensive, however, you go from one place to another. The story, willingly or unwillingly, is accompanied by "Sila", however, the deepening of love between the two is not portrayed delicately, to the extent that "Sila" proposes "Min" to "Min"'s father for himself through his own father. And even there, he says to "Min", "I'm sorry, I did not tell you, that is, without any subtlety and deepening of their love,
In a quick moment, he is drawn to courtship and engagement. The interesting thing is that when they get engaged, neither of them confesses their love for each other yet, and then, by going home, they gradually express their love for each other .... If true, this is first love and relationship, then confession of love, and finally courtship and engagement. But then the nomination of Love sequences was created very deep and precise between them, which again raised the couple a lot and makes us forget the negative aspects of the relationship between the two.
4 - The logical connection of some events with the story is lost in some cases.
5- The negative points of this Drama are very small and its greatness and positive points are very great. Overall, it was very engaging and I really enjoyed watching it.

MOST ENTERTAINING THING I'VE WATCHED IN AWHILE

OK GUYS HEAR ME OUT-
This is the first Thai drama I've ever watched, and I binged it in two days. It was so freaking entertaining!!! I've watched a plethora of C,K,J dramas and when I evaluate a drama, I'd be looking at cinematography, plot, acting, music, how it made me feel etc. But gosh, even though this drama was the most melodramatic thing ever, the production didn't seem that high quality, and those transitions and zooms felt like it was made in Windows movie maker 2009 ( the cross-cuts lasted for like a full minute of closeups of the character's faces which was funny af even if someone was dying), the music was so dramatic (some scenes had very mismatched music lmao, like yodelling melody when Sila is crying), I couldn't stop watching!

Some scenes were also soooooo cheesy, but in a good way that it made me laugh. There were also some really sweet moments, that made me go AW every ten seconds. Even though messages like forgiveness and kindness as morals of the drama are so simple, I think it's still such a powerful and sweet message that needs to be heard, when they are obscured in today's sphere of political correctness and lacking in compassion. I also learnt that guns are legal in Thailand.

This was one of those dramas, where the entire plot centred around Sila wanting to take revenge on Sida, and no matter what, Sida always escapes so the plot can carry on to the next ep lol, even though it could have ended ages ago. I must say Sila's character carried the drama, and he was the only one who experienced true steady growth.

If you're feeling mopey, like I was, 100% recommend.

Doesn't live up to the Hype

I had really high expectations when i watched this one, but it didn't live up to it for me at least. Some parts i enjoyed but some parts i found draggy and just filler episodes. The ML does try to be a tough pimp (according to the novel) but it doesn't seem to suite the actor, we needed a better Bad Boy (hard with tats and all). I think it was a miscast. Yes Tor is handsome & juicy looking and all those other things but just didn't work for me.He looked too innocent and clean to be a guy on the edge. The FL is equally lacking in some respects, weak character. i understand she was representing the voice of reason for the ML but we can have a strong, assertive voice right. Some people saw chemistry, i saw none. I rated it a 7.5 because i enjoyed some of the action scenes but not deserving of an 8.3 because it wasn't consistently great. My favorite character that i think embodied what the series should have been is Aunty Mam. Maybe when they do another remake they make use my ideas (haha). But who cares right (lol), but i always love it when others leave honest reviews.
