This is my first time writing a review, it happened that i can't hold it in any longer cause the ending wrecked me.As a huge BL fan, and has seen almost all BL series (mostly Thai) I'll be honest and say the plotline is cliché and lots of stereotypes. But it's unique in it's own way.
LBC was a rollercoaster of giggles, smiles, emotions, fluff and tears for me esp the ending.
I give a 10 cause its well deserved. The acting was great and chemistry on point. All the characters did their best though some really disappointed me at the end.
There are the pros and cons in this story:
CONS
For example: Kengkla acting the victim after that romanticized rape pissed me off. I thought he truly loved Techno, but looking back on it, he was just obsessed with getting into the other's pants. And God I wished Technic got a taste of his own medicine. Bitch! Techno deserve a better brother and lover.
Now to Tum: like bitch you don't attempt rape and make lunch as an excuse. And Tar, you don't play nice with someone who almost forced himself on you.
PROS:
Aepete is the most adorable couple I've ever seen. They get boring sometime though with all the overloaded cheese and fluff. Loved Pete's smile.
TINCAN! I DIED! THE ENDING KILLED ME THRICE!
may the soul rest in peace.
Watched this series for Tincan and I've no regrets despite their tragic ending. I loved them and still does. They're my favourite couple and each did well in their roles. Can was such a sweetie that never failed to make me smile. I enjoyed each and every scene of this cutie. And Tin, why him? Why? Why TinCan? Why?
Before blaming Can for rejecting Tin, one should put themselves in Can's shoes, as an immature teenager confused and clueless of what love is. As a teenager who loves food and believed Tin was trying to buy him by asking for a kiss each time he did Can a favour. As a jealous kid who couldn't take it that his sister ship tinpete. Rejecting Tin was harsh and ended up leaving them both broken.
My babies deserve so much better istg.
Overall this is one of the must watch series out there and I'd rewatch TinCan's cut over and over again.

Cute and Heartfelt story that i strongly recommend !
When i first picked up this series i was still rather new to BL world but i had watched a couple beforehand. I was actually surprised that this drama introduced us to a rather odd main characters personality types when compared to usual settings. Usually we get this truly strong and manly guy right next to the cute one, so my first impression about Ae and Pete was rather refreshing . I must admit, Pete was a bit too childish and shy to my taste but Ae's performance completely and utterly made up for it. I strongly believe that as far as ,, HUNGRY emotion ,, go..and yes, i am not talking about eating ! No one has been able to top Ae's performance for me and I've seen loads of dramas by now. This is also the very reason i took this show up for a rewatch.. and well season 2 , i still need to see, truth to be told, i couldn't watch season 2 after first one before.. The pain Ae feels in season 2 is still so hard for me, but this is another story. That season has a happy ending ! Yaay.. or well.. partly.. as i do feel sad that Tin gets Canned on this version. Tin and Can's story is one of the strongest side couple stories i think. Love by Chance is also written into the same universe as Why r u ( aside to some differences ) and Tharntype series. So If u liked those, i suggest to try LBC as well. What i like about this show :
* Softcore yet really strong chemistry between characters , they play it out so well it makes you cringe more than some heavycore sexy scenes do ..
* Ae's character !
* Radical differences between characters. P'Good and P'Can for example , its so unique because one can't shut up and other one can't really talk at all .
*Daring use of words in this show ! I like how blunt they are ! They don't just swirl around.. they use some really endearing and bold words and sentences !
Some unlikes :
* A little too childish and weak Pete, sometimes it does push my nerve but only a little :D
* Ending for Tin and Can on season 1 .. i hate it.. but in a way i'm glad because only happy endings would tire us soon out.
* P'types character is way too sweet on this series.. he is suppose to be more of an asshole. Who has seen other shows from this universe will get what it means :D
*Storyline is rather small and doesn't surprise us .. but it's simplicity is also likable and easy to watch
* Multiple characters were too ,, much '' .. Like they turned crazy mode full on for some of them. And of course it's not completely bad but a bit overpowering in this sense .
So in my opinion , try it out ! And let us all know what you thought of this series ;)

Not the best one but better than what I've been watching these past few days?
So let me start with Pete & Ae. One thing i liked more about their relationship was they never had a misunderstanding. Whenever they feel something, they just talk it out. And i will thanks to pond for this coz he was the one who said pete to always talk to ae if anything is bothering him. Ae & Pete were just in love with each other from the day one to day last. They respected each other's choice and decision (except for that one before their relationship how pete was forcing ae to like the other girl) otherwise it's one of the cutest BL series coz what I've been seeing is mostly thai bls are full of toxicity and sexual harassment kinda thingy.Next I'll talk about can & tin. I would have never expected them to end up together if i hadn't watched Tharntype before this honestly. Can was like a baby and tin was extremely annoying rich kid lol. How did these babies end up together? Anyways their storyline was kinda cute except for some parts where can was unnecessarily annoying tin?
There was no need for tar & tum's storyline? Like how tf a big brother can fall in love with his own little brother. For god's sake they're siblings? Idk how could anyone romanticize this sh*t?? He even once tried to kind of molest him. No? They should have ended their story in Tharntype only.
Talking about rewatch, i never rewatch anything unless they're extremely stress buster

TinCan biased
The only story line that made me watch this series is the TinCan pair. No shade to the other pairs, I just enjoy cold rich grumpy guy meet sunshine guy trope. After a few watches, AePete storyline gets a bit flat with no major challenge to the relationship to make it grow. Kengkla pair and TumTar pair have both deep and sensitive storylines that weren't addressed properly.
Acting wise, most of them improved as the series progressed. Music is good as BoySomPob is a really good composer.

Why is this show getting so much love?
Must Watch? - NOFluffy? - WHAT?
Perfect? - I threw up in my mouth a little.
10/10? - Where we even watching the same show?
Rewatch? - Why would any sane person even consider that?
I was hesitant to watch this after TharnType, which I personally consider one of the better BL's, with strong 3 dimensional characters. But the reviews made it look interesting. Boy was I wrong.
It's another typical BL for shippers.
The main character's are Ae and Pete, but their storyline gets no further development in the last four episodes.
It literally has a rape scene being played for laughs and character/couple development.
Tar looks 12 years old. The scenes with Tum made me extremely uncomfortable.
While I liked Ae, there is something off about the way he treats Pete. It seemed very controlling , possessive and has all the red flags of later emotional abuse.
Tin and Can - The kissing scenes. The actors looked like they where forced. There is one particular scene where the blocking was off and it was clear that they where not actually kissing.
Overall this show just left a very bad taste in my mouth.
I rated the acting high solely on Perth and Saint's capabilities.

I really loved all the couples in this drama. Their acting and the way their chemistry worked out was good. Pete and Ae - The main couple in this series. A good chemistry between the two and there was a real heat on the screen. Pete was overloaded with his cuteness and Ae had a charming character. He had saved Pete in all his crisis. Pete became strong with the help of Ae and they both enjoyed their relationship in a great way.
Tin and Can - The couple whom I wanted to be together so badly ended up breaking up. Tin being cold on the outside but had a soft corner inside. Can, who will do anything for his friends.Though at first they started to hate each other, they really loved their existence. I expected them to be together but Can ended up hurting Tin. I wished Can could expressed his feelings towards Tin.
Kengkla and Techno - Fun and cute pair. Romance between a high school junior and senior. I adored this couple. They only had few parts but they stole the show when they were on the screen. It was really fun to see Kengkla being top and Techno being bottom.
Tum and Tar- Love between the step brothers. Being harassed in the early life of Tar, he trusted in Tum . They hid their feelings since it was a taboo but no matter how much one's hide, the love will blossom in its own way. Step brothers being in love I really loved how they understood each other. Tar felt secured when he was with Tum.
I finished this series in one sit. I really want to congratulate all the actors who had put their efforts in this series and I badly wanted Season 2.

It's Really one of the best series out there
Despite some issues in storyline and ending of the episode Because of the issue of company's management towards SaintI really like How natural Acting Perth did like man he was only 17 at that time The Chemistry Between Ae and Pete attracted me and honestly they looked good together
I didn't got attracted to Tin and Can storyline. Tin always wants to Kiss Can and Can always abusing him it just gets weirder
For Tar and his Brother except rape episode they were sad every time.
Ae and Pete were the only one in story who were most loved by me it's really worth watching their story they are seriously good
Since Being First time in Love Ae of course had sexual appeal for his First love like who doesn't have any.
And That Doesn't create a TOXIC COUPLE
I recommend to watch it but watch most of Ae and Pete Story

Friendship love n everything
PETE n AE made a beautiful couple but the open ending made me confused n bit sad... I loved the possessive n protective AE and pete was just cute and adorable.. Falling in love is necessary but falling in love with the right person is important.. Or u may end up hurt..The overall atory was good to watch but the disappointed cause we dint get to see them together at the end...
CAN plays a good friend but the way it has shown common on a kid wont behave that way always hungry for free food.. That was bit irritating not humour... TIN behaving almighty falling for this silly kid was just perfect... Thats what love by chance is
Over all the story is good to watch..

green flag!
I’m not really open to write a lot of reviews but I came to this way later than everyone else. I now see why people were said the pairing split up.but I have to say the way Ae constantly checked in with Pete was such a refreshing experience. it reminded me of Win and Team from between us. Ae really was out here trying to protect Pete just because he was a good guy, no other motives.
I knwo a lot of people either like Perths new pairing or him with Saint and some won’t watch this because of that. seriously give this a go. I was surprised how much I ended up loving this.

Adorable BL pairings, worth a watch despite some unfinished business taste for 1 of the romance
This BL college romance is centred around 2 main couples as well as 2 secondary couples. I loved a lot the two main romances, they were very different but wholesome in their own ways. There was some angst and pining, but overall also a lot of cuteness and fluff. The secondary storylines were less entertaining, with more (unaddressed) red flags as well as an odd pacing disturbing the main plot rather than improving it. The ending was a bit disappointing as it let a few open doors but hopefully the season 2 provides a better closure to the show so that the viewer is not left with some "unfinished business" taste for one of the romance. Even without a second season, it is still worth the watch thanks to the two main pairings.Indeed, I found the two main couples really great thanks to the satisfying performances of the 4 main male leads. They are clearly beginners and some scenes are a miss...but they manage to be so cute that their flaws are more charming than anything else. The casting for Pete and Ae was amazing: the actors (Saint x Perth) had a genuine chemistry together which resulted in a super sweet portraying of a young couple starting a relationship. Their love is so pure, their relationship grow organically in a natural way. it is really a pleasure to follow their adventures on campus. Tin and Can couple (played by Mean x Plan), with the enemies-to-lovers trope, provided an interesting counterpart to the show. The secondary characters were less exciting to follow and the acting for them was quite average. It was even borderline bad for some roles such as the two comic reliefs (who were often over the top) as well as for some of the more traumatic crying scenes.
The soundtrack felt at first quite atrocious: a lot of piano songs were overplayed on top of the pop songs, the mix and transition of the sound between the scenes was not properly done. However, I finally found myself appreciating quite a bit the opening song of the generic, it was kind of repetitive but I enjoyed more and more as I was diving deeper into the episodes. In general, the production value felt a bit amateurish but it did not prevent me to enjoy the drama.
I would recommend this to people looking for a wholesome BL romance in a college settings. It is set up in the same universe as Tharntype (which is the sequel of Love By Chance) but it can be a bit confusing as the cast is a bit different for the same roles between the 2 shows,. I personally enjoyed Love By Chance more than TharnType: it is less problematic (except for the secondary storylines which are repetitive between the 2 dramas) and it is cuter. Still, be mindful of the triggers.

1. Main Couple - Ae/Pete
Always loving, caring, portraying so much of emotions like straight couples. Always steel the screen from the other couples. Ae - Ultimate Seme & Pete - Perfect Uke.
2. Secondary Couple - Tin/Can
Much deserving couple but ended sadly. Stole the screen in the later episodes.
More shipped Seme/Uke.
3. Tertiary Couple - Kla/No
Cute couple, deserved a better plot line, but delivered their best.
4. Last Couple - Tum/Tar
Nothing much to say. Just a cliffhanger.
Special mention to Pond. He acts like a pervert, but he is a boyfriend material.
Every friday was the happiest day when this series was airing.
Also special thanks to Lazy Subber/Jaybl for the help.

I was scrolling through my YouTube feed and I saw a thumbnail of a video named "Best BL Dramas Of 2018" and I saw "Love By Chance" as one of the featured dramas and I was curious so I checked it out and did a bit of my research and saw that you can watch it on YouTube for free and so I was hooked in.
This Isn't Much Of A Review But More Of How Much The Drama Has Done To Me (In a positive way, of course)
The first episode was a magical episode and no other drama has made me hooked in the storyline, the characters and the actors. The series after that made me smile with all the happiness it oozed out and it made me cry (especially at the finale episode). I was kinda iffy about a specific incident. Other than that, the main love story really made me happy, I've never felt so happy in a while and I'm sad that I finished the series (I wished that there was more).
I love the series and I hope the people who will start to watch it will love it too.
P.S.
I really appreciate the job that all the actors/actresses have done, they've really done such a good job storytelling. I really have to commend Saint because his acting was so well done and I was really affected by what he was doing and I really love just everything about the series in general.
