Both female character are strong-willed and focused on their careers. Both characters are around their thirties and realize the time clock is ticking. As well, both characters are seeing other men other than the one character who is interested and in front of them the entire time.

Both involve the process of friendship developing into romance. One of them used to have a secret crush on the other in the past and yet did not manage to work it out.

Both FLs have strong personalities.
The story between the MLs and FLs are high school friends that later fall in love.
The events in both dramas are similar as well.

Even if Reply 1988 is korean and In Time With You is taiwanese, both of them are about family and relationships. There is the topic friendship turns into romance and also younger memories. Both of them are very enjoyable.

Both dramas give that pleasure to enjoy smart, funny, psychologically deep and breathtaking love story. Main characters are smart, in their early 30s. Main actors/actresses are great and acted great.
Stories are totally different, each of the dramas has it's own taste and style. But they both are pieces of art - good work of filming teams.
These two are my fav dramas, the best of Korean, and the best of Taiwanese.

Both shows have two childhood friends experiencing the worries of life after the young years. Furthermore, both include love triangles and women in beauty industry.

They are similar in the aspect of how they deal with things .
In time with you has somewhat the same feel regarding friendship , relationship and love .
Though this time it's a Man and a Woman friendship .
My personal Fav Drama apart from AGD .

If you like this drama, you might wanna try to watch this. It's the Japanese remake of In Time With You, so the plot is pretty the same as the original.

Nagao Kanji works for an advertising agency in his hometown of Ehime Prefecture. He is assigned to the Tokyo sales department where his colleague Akana Rika takes care of his work. One day, Kanji is invited to drinks by Mikami Kenichi, a former classmate from his hometown who is now in Tokyo, and he is also reunited with Sekiguchi Satomi who has feelings for him. However, Rika ends up joining them when she delivers Kanji’s wallet which he had left in office. On the way back, Rika tells him, “Kanchi, shall we kiss?” and he is rattled. There have been rumours in office that Rika is in a relationship with their boss Waga Natsuki.

The overly used drama or movie trope but still manages to capture our hearts:

"Bestfriends turning into lovers"

Will get you frustrated sometimes on why they have to deny their feelings for so long, but then again, you will understand that, they do not want to ruin the special friendship that they have. But will finally realize that it is worth to cross the line and go on and follow their hearts. In the end, love wins for everyone.

In Time With You is yet another Taiwanese Drama you really don't want to let go. It may be slow paced at times but yet there is indeed sweetness there. :D
