I don't know if it won any awards, but the woman who plays the "old" protagonist is exceptionally talented. The piano music is beautiful, underscoring the sad moments. It's moving to tears, starting from episode 3.

The male lead's background isn't enviable either. Actor Nam Joo Hyuk plays his part well.

I mean, to save her dad, she retries the scene 1,000 times and gets a poor result. Couldn't she have gone back five minutes earlier and stopped him at the door?
The rescue mission was hilarious but I didn't like the ending. The whole story feels fake.
It's unclear whether the daughter actually existed since she doesn't appear at the end. The reporter was the grandmother's husband, but also her acquaintance/swindler when she got older, and even the grandmother's doctor. Chaos. I don't get it that the friends, at three different points in time, were just as close to the young woman as they were to the "old" one.

I really liked everything. (for those who like semi-realistic and really sad story)

At first, the first 10 eps., I was beginning to feel interested and touched by the story, but after the big reveal in ep. 11, my expectations and thoughts of how the story would turn out, have vanished. The whole narration takes a turn after we find out about Hye-Ja's real identity. From the very beginning to the end, all the actors (especially the main) portrayed every character very realistically. They gave life to the story.

All I can say without any spoilers is that I cried so, so much. It also has taught me so much about life, age, and memories which I have struggled with so much even though I am barely becoming an adult the following year. And my memories are one of the most valuable things I cherished the most, but struggle to keep track of everything, especially those that I wish I could remember. It made me look at life differently and started to understand why our parents are the way there are, and what kind of life we are living differently, yet, similarly.

Appreciate every moment in life because you never know what would happen in your lifetime like Hye-Ja. We wish we can all turn time back, but we can't. So instead, let's hold hands with who we are, the present me, the past me, and the future me should wait for us until we reach it.

Heartfelt Journey Through Time and Emotions

The series explores themes of time, family, and the value of everyday moments. It is very heart-wrenching and thought-provoking story.

I started watching this series with completely different expectations, but I still loved it. It made me sad at times, but it also healed me afterward. It made me look at certain things in life from a different angle. It reminded me of my grandparents who have passed away and also made me appreciate my only grandmother who is still with us.

The actors did a great job portraying their characters. Almost every scene where Nam Joo-hyuk appeared brought tears to my eyes.

It is not an ordinary cheesy romantic comedy, but it's definitely worth watching if you are ready to try something new.

I was looking for something fun to watch and since time traveling dramas are my favorite I started watching this. I was not expecting the twist in this. Everyone should watch this. It will give you a newfound gratitude for life and family. The cast of this drama were absolutely phenomenal. The emotional scenes brought me to tears. The story could not have been written any better. It’s perfection. I want to dive deeper into the story with you here but I don’t want to ruin the drama with spoilers. But please, give this drama a chance. I’m a huge fan of the writers and the cast after this. They did such an amazing job individually and together as a team. I would watch this again, absolutely! So good!
The rewatch value would be simply to fit the pieces together from back to front and understand it with an even deeper heart and deeper sense of gratitude.
Anyone who gives this drama low stars really doesn’t understand the complexity of this story. Absolutely brilliant.

Even on ordinary days, life is still worth living

This K-drama has been sitting in my watchlist for as long as I can remember. I came across it when I was searching for “saddest K-drama scenes” on TikTok. It was a clip from a small scene in the final episode, but I didn’t pay much attention to it. Fast forward to now, and watching it hit me with so many emotions, but mostly sadness and melancholy. This K-drama heavily reminded me of When Life Gives You Tangerines and Hi Bye, Mama, but it told a different story. It was all about aging and life in general.

A thought occurred to me while watching: as a person gets older, do they often question their self-worth? Do they wonder if they’ll still be able to enjoy the things they love and cherish as time goes by, or if they’ll eventually struggle to keep up with a world that is constantly changing? It portrayed aging so beautifully and realistically, from our physical capabilities to the regrets that follow us forever.

Also, once again, Nam Joo-hyuk gave an amazing performance. Just like Twenty-Five Twenty-One, this K-drama left me with a lingering feeling after watching. There was one episode where his dialogue made me so nervous for some reason. And just like the rest of the K-drama, you’ll also feel immersed in the characters. It’s like you’re part of the story as they navigate through different moments, some sad, some happy, and some angry.

I finished all 12 episodes in just a few days. It’s definitely binge-worthy, but make sure to have tissues ready. I believe I cried in almost every episode, even on the bus 😭😂. It really felt like a puzzle with each episode leading up to the big picture.

When our lives feel like a series of mishaps and misfortunes, we somehow just need to remember the dazzling and glimmering moments in our lives. Sometimes, it’s just the ordinary and normal days. So live, because everyone deserves to be happy.

I would categorize this kdrama as a healing and nostalgic korean drama. The shots were so beautiful especially the sunset scenes, the musical scoring will make you feel so many emotions. I hope I encounter another one just like this. :)

Remember to enjoy the ride.

I truly hope a lot of younger people watch this amazing piece of story telling. I am usually good at expressing myself but I just spent a lot of time crying.
This story was so beautifully portrayed in a manner that books you into thinking it will just be another wonderful romance , that borders on insane with the classic fairytale approach to love we see so often in kdramas. The plot twist is almost to harsh and just heart rending deep and poignant that I almost didn't want to watch it.
As a woman currently in midlife ( fifties) with aging parents and high concerns about all diseases related to aging and how I will cope, the story hit so hard.
