Can't believe just watching this drama in 2021
8 episodes in and I feel this Novel/Drama has a lot of potential...somewhat light, cheesy, and comedic with a hint of mystery; perfect to spend the night away. Feels everyone (so far) are kind hearted and keep everything to themselves which causes of a lot of misunderstanding. Although, One may argue that's what meant to be...FL is my bias type.. a naively sweet girl who matures into a strong and unique character. ML, hopefully, also maturing over time by being around her; feels he has a lot of potential but holding himself back for his brother.
Glad to see that the chemistry between the lead grows (edited) throughout the series; starting off with two strangers who kind of "using" each other to their benefit as a start and slowly (hopefully) fall in love with each other. Setting the chemistry aside, their relationship grows naturally and feels very realistic; they seem to trust and enjoy being with each other.
Added on: The overall storyline is wonderful although I don't enjoy the scene cutting...transitions are choppy and not flowing well in my opinion. Just put a blinder on small details, don't be too critical and I bet you'll enjoy the series.

weird relationship
long time quite curious with this drama, finally decided to watch it. Turn out quite good, but in my opinion, all the relationship begin with the weird tone. What I like:
+ Feng Ping (FP) is one of interesting woman in dramaworld. She's not damsel in distress that need to be saved by man. She has her own power & part in the world
+ FP & Tang Jia Nan (JN) relationship is quite mature given that JN sometimes quite childish.
+ A Jiu is really one funny character. He's really chill out character, it's like whatever JN did to him seems not be bothered him
What I don't too like:
- Another snake in the drama. The moment Lu Qiao (LQ) out, I can sense how snake this person is. The interesting part is when we see the terified face of JN when he see LQ. And what make me annoyed why JN like can't reject LQ at first.
- There is no clarity about the character JN. Is he actually just rich boy that like to play around or he actually have hidden character. We can see several time he actually like building something in his home. But what that's for...? Is it just for him to play around or he just want to create something....?
- Who the heck actually FP....? We get some hidden clue that his girl actually rich woman or at least have rich family. But we never really know who the heck is this girl. Why Fang Jun Hao (JH) & his dad seems to be so afraid of her brother. Who is he, how powerful is he...? We only get a glimpse of him in the end :(
- The moment JN know about FP power seems unimportant. They don't even bother to write full scene about this. We just later know that JN already know about FP power.
- The rush ending. I really want the meeting between both JN & FL family be longer & meaningful instead just the glimpse like this.
Overall this one good drama, without much angst, but at the same time much question mark too....
Now last before I close my review. Just skip read next part if you don't want to get spoiler. Now let me explain the weird relationship I mention above...
1. JN & FP - Of course from the first their relationship is one of the weirdest among pretend relationships. But it become weirder after JN remember. They just jump into relationship and with all the lovey dovey that couple do.... Yeah I know, there're hidden feeling that don't need to translate into Word or action, cause what JN & FP do for each other already tell us what we need to know, and we just happy when they finally do what couple normally do. But in my opinion it just weird way to begin relationships for real.
2. Qiu Tian & JH - This even weirder, but I just can't explain it. And JH is one stupid man. Even after he decided to finally confess, he still chicken out in the end & just let the confess hanging in the air.
3. An Yue Sheng (YS) & Tang Ming Xuan (MX) - I never really understand what is the genuine feeling of YS toward MX. Is it from the beginning YS actually already like MX, but he just need to sort his feeling for FP first, or what...? It just in 1 ep YS still feel bothered by MX action, but the other ep turn out no he's not really bothered by her & kinda have feeling for her.

amazing main lead couple .... trash 2nd lead couple
main lead couple was the only reason to watch it ......i did not liked how they really kept all handsome chinese actors in one series but their story was very trash.- second lead( that FML ex and ML sister) are true annoying and toxic people { actor was perfect thou} same old cute little girl following an extremely toxic man around. FML ex had the mouth to call FLM gold digger when he himself was the person who ignored her in their relationship . Man I just hated how their first kiss was just a method of the ex in anger of FML. even though the girl is annoying but she does not deserve this.
- the big bro was so good. but his crush/ childhood frnd was extremely toxic and the typical cdrama 2nd lead who will do anything to be with the ML
- the triangle of love of the Oh so good and ideal FML lead male best friend and her female friend and the ML secretary was good and interesting but they left it in the middle without any clue of whom she ends up with ....like man thats not correct!!!!
- the only part the story was amazing was that the FML was super rich and did not wait for hero to save her when somebody insults her . the male lead was a cute guy and had his own charm . oh I just love them ...rest part is skipable.

I Wish I Had Read the Reviews
**This is just my opinion. I truly appreciate all of the hard work and dedication that goes into the making of this and other dramas. Thank you.**Warning---Spoilers Ahead
All I knew about this drama going in was the one sentence description given on this site and the fact that Wang Rui Chang was starring in it. I have really enjoyed his work in the other dramas that I've seen him in and wanted to see his character actually get the girl. I wish that I had read the reviews so that I would have been mentally prepared for the ridiculous plot. As more and more of the "mystery" was revealed I was having to force myself to keep watching. It was just so idiotic. The female lead character isn't a supernatural being. She hasn't been in an accident or experiment that resulted in her "gift". No, forget all of those. She's just born with the ability to shatter glass, ignite fires, cause electrical malfunctions and then somehow, turn that ability into healing the human body. What I find possibly even more strange is her referring to her ability as her "super power" without any embarrassment or awkwardness and others doing the same thing. I was cringing every time they did it. If there was some explanation for her having her ability and I missed it, that's my mistake.
Overall I think I just found it frustrating. This drama has a very talented cast but the script let them down. Of all the characters, my favorites were A Jiu, played by Jeremy Wang, Fang Jun Hao played by Luo Zheng, Yi Er Yang played by Chen Peng Wan Li and Tang Jia Nan played by Wang Rui Chang (despite how childish his character is). I think that the couples were mismatched. If they had been paired differently the drama could have been so much better. If you like women who talk like toddlers, behave like primary school kids and are indulged in every way then you'll probably enjoy this drama. I can't stand women like that or that kind of behavior so drove me crazy. Both the behavior and the indulging.
The bottom line is that this drama has a lovely, talented cast, a terrible plot and awful writing. The English subtitles are some of the worst I've seen. The sound cuts out completely during some episodes only to have very loud background music (that I didn't care for) during others. The soundtrack is alright from what I could hear though.

Fall in Love
Another Chinese romance drama that lets you enjoy it from the start until the end.Romance drama with good looking cast. All of the actors and actresses are attractive to look at. Eye candy!!
I love the storyline!! Stress relief.
A man who falls in love with a woman at first sight.
The male lead who decides to propose to the female lead when they meet at an event (to deceive his eldest brother).
The male lead who is infatuated by the female lead and goes on a quest to discover the female lead's identity.
This drama tells you that when you're in a relationship, you trust your partner,
you discuss with your partner first,
you stay calm when outsiders tell something about your partner,
then you will have healthy relationship.
I love this drama because there's no stupid misunderstanding scenes. In any relationship, misunderstanding brings disharmony.
The strong female lead Feng Ping is really enjoyable to watch. This drama is definitely not the damsel in distress. I dislike any drama that portrays the female character being naïve and helpless, which makes heroine easy prey for villains. Thanks Fall in Love for the strong female character!!
Actually the male lead Tang Jia Nan is not a playboy. When he engaged to the female lead, they begin to tease and flirt with each other. Fun to watch. They trust each other, stay honest and loyal about their feelings.
I like the supporting characters of the male lead's assistant/bodyguard Ah Jiu and the female lead's male best friend Fang Jun Hao.
The greatest bromance between the male lead Tang Jia Nan and his assistant/bodyguard Ah Jiu.
The special bond between the female lead Feng Ping and her male best friend Fang Jun Hao as they care about, love and respect each other.
This drama, you're able to watch the platonic relationship between the female lead and her male best friend. Not occurring very often in the other romantic dramas.
Some people might think this drama is slow pace. I don't think like that because I enjoy watching every episode.
Rewatch? Maybe.
I recommend you to watch Fall in Love if you are searching for a happy warm romantic drama with happy ending. No stressful scenes. Only one or two irritating characters. Not so dramatic.

Good Soild Fluffy Drama
If you are looking for a good feel good drama with a little angst thrown in this is it. The leads all do a good job with their roles, nothing feels stale or overdone. There is nice character development. The amnesia storyline is done correctly and is very believable. As with a lot of dramas, one gets a little rushed at the end, but it isn't terrible and doesn't take away from the storyline.I watched this a while ago, so it is super exciting to see how the actors have grown., especially Richard Wang and Miles.
Go ahead and give this a try.

A low key, curious drama with a unique main couple and interesting side couples
Note: this drama was decently English subbed on YouTube until around episode 9 and after that, the subtitles were awful. The only reason why I was able to keep watching was because I was able to discern the general idea of what was going on and I also understood some phrases every now and then. So, I didn't get to watch this drama with full emotional investment. Regardless, this is a pretty decent modern romance drama with a bit of futuristic technology involved and a bit of the supernatural. I recommend that if you know enough Chinese to get by, you can still enjoy many things about this drama. However, if you're completely new to Chinese language and typical plots/dialogue in Chinese dramas, I don't recommend starting this drama due to bad English subtitles. In the way that the drama "My Girlfriend Is an Alien" only explored the FL's lead's alien identity on a basic, surface level & doesn't enter the realm and consequences of "What would the world do if they find out there are aliens?", the FL in this drama and her "superpower" ability is also in this similar vein. The FL is born with an ability--something to do with the energy and waves of her body which can become dangerous when heightened--and the consequences of the reveal of her ability is limited to the world of the FL and the ML. Groups like the media and government don't get involved in this modern romance drama because that would go out of the scope of this drama.
Anyway, because of her ability, it affects her past and created her current personality as a mature, cool-headed person, which makes her quite refreshing from the typical "cute quirky" modern FL lead in a romance drama.
The ML at first gives off a playboy vibe and comes across as goofy and unserious, but it's intentional on his part. He quickly becomes adorable and likeable.
With a mature FL and a cute ML, their encounters and growing relationship carries the strange beginnings. The first several episodes will be very confusing due to the mention of her ability and how it isn't explained right away. I only kept watching because I was fascinated by their dynamic--FL wasn't interested at first and ML was deeply curious about her and so their chanced encounters became more interesting. I adored how he always wanted to know more about her and was subtly jealous but wasn't an asshole about it. Most of the times, he was honest about it.
The supporting characters are interesting too--and in this drama, they do get a pretty good amount of screen time.
One of my favorite supporting characters is the FL's guy friend Junhao. I love how his relationship with the FL is never seen as romantic. They're platonic friends for over twenty years and so they care about each other as friends do.
Minzhen's growth from a whiny princess type to a more open-minded woman is so good.
Yuesheng gets a lot of flack as he does mope a lot, but if you really consider his perspective, you do feel bad for him.
Lu Qiao, the female antagonist, does get quite annoying but I'm glad for the ending that she does get.

This is a super nice drama
I tried this drama just because of Richard Wang. But when I started it becomes more and more interesting. The female lead character so much fascinating. In every episode I just waiting for new things coming about her. I like the relationship between the female lead and his best friend relationship it's not like other drama turns into secret crush. Now coming about male lead obviously this character so much entertaining. But he is also mysterious. Playing like palyboy hides his true identity into a laughable character. The best thing in this drama is the way his assistant deals with male lead. Finally I can only say I prefer school drama more than this type. But this drama is super best drama. Was this review helpful to you?
When the Characters are Worse than the Acting
13 episodes in, I was still mildly curious about the FL's story and her past. I liked her character a lot. No shallow, silly behavior. She's confident, smart, and strong. She's good to her friends and those who work with and for her. No entitled bitchy attitude. I liked the FL's friends and their relationships with her. I would have liked to see her story through to the end.I don't despise the ML's character although he's pretty full of himself. Unfortunately, he wasn't enough to keep me invested in him or their relationship. His character didn't seem worthy of this strong woman. And whoever was responsible for his wardrobe choices needs to be fired. Some of them were pretty awful.
So why did I drop this like a hot rock?
1) Most of all, the little sister - this actress looks like she's 12 years old, and always manages to behave like a petulant, spoiled child who just needs to leave the room. I was fast-forwarding through all her scenes from the first episode she appeared in.
2) The ML's assistant - who is just a useless lackey who couldn't care less about his job or his boss. In the real world who would keep such a moron by his side anyway?
3) The housekeeper - who got away with everything and who nobody made accountable.
Sometimes the good outweighs the bad, especially with so many episodes but there was not much good in this one. As mildly interesting as this started out to be, there just wasn't enough tolerance to put up with some of these characters (especially the little sister!) I hope the FL will get some better scripts and roles that will showcase her talent.
ZERO re-watch value.
