The two leads play their characters with intensity and spot-on humor, and have excellent chemistry. The premise of this drama isn't anything new: the rebellious male lead is a contender for successor of his father's company, the female lead is hardworking, kindhearted, with an exuberant personality. (Give her a chance, in the first episode she does seem a little over-the-top.) For the supporting characters, the Li family and Si Yu's dad were great.
This drama includes shady characters, scheming, family turmoil, revenge, unrequited crushes, etc. I can enjoy these sort of ~dramatic~ storylines when they aren't too frustrating or ridiculous. Some aspects of the latter half had plot holes or lack of believability in certain settings, especially the hospital scenes, and there were an excessive number of flashback sequences. Unfortunately, character development in the latter half is pretty much cast aside, which was unfortunate since many characters had a lot of potential.

Okay
This was a very entertaining series. You get a mix of romance, humor, action, drama and mystery. The cast all did an amazing job. I love the communication and the chemistry between the two main lease of the series. They really did manage to pull off their annoyance with each other as well as build a smooth relationship that exhibit an amazing chemistry.The series revolves around so many people. It’s hard to say that its simply about the two main leads because it involves their families and their friendships. Everything ties into the plot.
What I like most about the series was that the relationship between the male and female lead was unique, funny and also very sweet. I absolutely love the male lead in this series. I have never seen him in any other series but I absolutely love how his character was portrayed as a dedicated, hard-working, loving and free spirit. He was absolutely the person that many underestimate. Our male lead was a man that was rich and traveled the world but still has an amazing sense of loyalty and honesty.
Our female lead was great as well. She was individual with a back bone who was also very smart. I for one am glad that we were able to see a female lead who not only had common sense but would not allow herself to be bullied or belittled by anyone. It was refreshing.
Our supporting cast was just as amazing. I loved our second male lead. He was by far the best character in the series for me because of his personality.
What I did not like about the series was that it was too many episodes of misunderstandings. To elaborate if you receive a receive information from someone that could affect your future, one should not simply take the word and run with it. I’m really not a fan of watching shows that have misunderstandings that drag on for so long. For me as a viewer, it was annoying but it did not diminish the acting of the cast. I’m just one that hates prolong misunderstandings.
.The other thing that I was not happy about was that the series was 63 episodes. For me that is extremely long for a drama of this caliber. You normally see this number with those family dramas but this one was more than family it was business and romance and manipulations so it was a bit longer than I like. That being said it really could’ve end it much sooner, But I can only assume that the writers felt the need to drag it out and threw in a plot twist that frustrated me and then cleared it up at the last two episodes.
I really didn’t get the ending that I wanted, although it wasn’t awful it just seemed to be ungratifying. After 63 episodes you really want a grand ending because you committed so much to it and you really deserve it but I found myself cheated.
If you’re into family/business/romance/treachery type series you may like this one. Also if you are in the mood to start a series that is pretty long. If you’re looking for a smooth sailing romance, this is not it..

One of the most entertaining modern dramas I've seen
Loved this drama so much I'm re-watching it already.It has everything a drama needs - great writing, great acting by good looking actors, action with some parkour and martial arts! Good editing and directing. Even the wardrobe is good. The music is never annoying and stays in the background.
The main couple had wonderful chemistry, the other characters were well developed and felt real.
Each day I looked forward to watching more episodes, they were so satisfying, with the right mix of positive vs negative emotions.
If you looking for an entertaining drama, try "I want to be with you".

Ok I really liked this one la. Even though I think the plot twist that was used is overdone in both Asian and Western dramas as well as YA books. I still think all the episodes and character development that happened prior to it was really good. Acting was not bad and some characters really brought the dramas as well as emotions. Liked:
- overall, just really loved the storyline and plot of this one. I am honestly inspired by how nice the main female lead continued to be throughout the story even though she was faced with multiple injustices by multiple characters, some of which were supposed to be her allies.
- the main male lead really grew as a character throughout and it was nice to see the female lead contributing to his growth but not in the way that a female is secondary to their male partner type.
- lots of random bits of drama that was kinda entertaining
Dislikes:
- as much as I liked the random bits of drama, I also dislike the parts that had to do with family and were somewhat confusing/annoying/potentially unnecessary if they were introducing more people. But props to the writers because I think overall it did tie together really well in the end
- female characters that throw away friendships for men. I will NEVER understand this. I did watch one western drama where I felt that this did make sense but it was a mutual relationship and not one sided like in this drama.
WATCH!! it is kinda long though, so maybe put some time aside for it.

Ok this series started very well until the twist came in. I honestly would have preferred her to stay with the second protagonist. Ou yang and her best friend have done her quite a lot but hop she forgives them right. Her ex boyfriend had everything done hup she kind of forgives him. I really cant understand that.Why did it go like this. I love the fml,she is a great actrice. I just dont like the story after the second half. I can go on and on about why did the story twist like grazy,Why was there so much betrayal.Ok i will stop now ,wish i really would like it

This show is everything you expect and more with you watch a chinese melodrama that has more than 50 episodes. Lol. You have two people that fall in love and you think things are dandy and they're not. You have random twins, fighting, arguing, betrayal, new enemies out of nowhere, bad guys and good guys and all this random stuffed tossed together. Lol. I really did like the FL and ML, they were cute together and so that's why I really stuck around. I also hate dropping dramas no matter how bad it is and I committed so here I am, 65 episodes deep and I don't regret it but I could've done other things too. Lol. Like you had so many questions like why didn't you DNA test yourself?? Why are y'all always crying??? The FL was awesome, she was a great actress honestly. The ML wasn't bad at all. They had great chemistry and had a good thing going on until they didn't LMAO. I liked the secondary characters and then I didn't. I liked the family here and there and honestly, I kinda liked the sister a lot. Lol. She wasn't dumb but she wasn't great.
The music wasn't terrible though.
I wouldn't rewatch it lol I could barely really watch it, it wasn't a terrible show though, not even gonna lie. I think this is a each to their own type of show. lol

Female having 20years relationship with her boyfriend which came to end because his greediness to climb the ladder to become famous by the time male lead indirectly connected with her heartbroken story because both of them has the common friend and that's the love triangle start but drama do not extend love triangle part much that is good . Twist and turn became the obstruction in their love which get solve at the end of the drama. Story having mixture of love,hatred, jealousy,happiness ,popularity,competition,little bit Melodrama.the story had sad moment a lot . It is not so good and not so bad story .okay one .can give a try . I am waiting for second lead two patch up ,i mean I want to see some scenes of them . This make story some what better I guess. Could have shorten the number of episodes
A very long drama, too many flashbacks BUT glad to finish with a happy ending. The character most I admire in this series IMO is Li Dong, I have never seen a man so calm after all the kindness he had given to the woman he's in love with and then got rejected. I was so sad for him because I wanted Mei Ya to accept his love. Truly one-sided love in every aspect. Same with other characters like her sister to Li dong, SiYu and Li WeiWei to Oh Yang and ZiJie to Ruo Nan. Lesson learned , revenge is not a good thing. Always cherish the present people around you, who love you will be there for you. Being a good friend should always consider her feelings first not take your friend's lover selfishly.Was this review helpful to you?

MUST WATCH!!!!
65 episodes and Im exhausted having binge-watched over a weekend. I was pratically laughing my head off in the first half and then bawling my head off in the second half. I loved the ML very much. He acted his emotional parts so well. He acted so well, I loved him in the first half, then hated him in the second half. I loved the 2nd ML throughout the whole show. So classy and charismatic. You asians have a beautiful style. Mind you, towards the end i sort of looked at him wondering hmmmm his dark side was quite frigtening. The FL lead was very good acting but I felt she didnt have the beauty and mature personality for three handsome men to be falling all over her. Her style of clothing really annoyed me. The men's wardrobe was unbelievbly lacking in where you saw most of the cast wearing the same suits, dresses , tees...etc throughout the series but hey, they are sopposed to be millionaires???One major frustration I had was when searching for other series these acotrs have been in, there was bugger-all!!! They are new or supporting. Definately need to act in more series/movies.

This drama made me think that real love maybe exists. This drama made me cry so bad and i really hate the fact that her best friend could do something like that to her. I learn from this drama don't introduce your boyfriend to your best friend. :)) Anyways, i love how Li Wei Wei grew up. I felt bad for Li Dong beacuse he was such a bless for this show and he ended up kinda sad. I would love to see Wan Si Wei in another series. Anyways, i love him.
The story between Lin Meya and Ou Yang was incredible. I hate that they thought they are related for so many episodes, and in ep 64 made up.

Don't let the 60+ eps put you off
I was very reluctant to start this drama due to the number of episodes, 40 tends to be my maximum attention span. However after seeing clips on YouTube I couldn't resist.The episodes flew by, lots of characters and drama to keep you interested. There were some shady characters but none of them were nearly as bad as some villians in lots of other dramas I have seen. The rich parents actually loved their children and wanted the best for them. Shows somewhat reality of people blinded by greed and making wrong choices. The SML personality was too perfect, it was a shame it didn't show him with a happy ending, although very subtle hints indicate he probably wouldn't be single for long. I didn't particularly like the actors playing the main leads, their chemistry was lacking a little but they acted well as did all the cast. For a long drama none of the little side plots dragged on for too long which kept it enjoyable to watch and kept the story moving. I would definitely recommend this drama if you have time to spare!
