Though is not BL is worth watching.

I read a lot comments on other sites about show being a scam and not worth watching because the lack of BL content but I have to disagree. Without getting into spoiler territory I think people should give it a try. The diving plot is interesting even though is a bit predictable and cliche. The friendships are incredibly well developed and the chemistry ia off the chart. I was pretty invested in the romantic relationship too until they took a turn for the worst (my opinion) but not enough to ruin the story. Seriously give it a try if you are slightly interested... don't run away for the lack of gay content. That being said the potential to be a great BL was there... i will look up for a novel/manga/something and hopefully it will be BL.

This is a good, solid drama with hearty, cheerful characters and relationships everything from cute romance to some super heavy bromances. Not my usual fare so I was surprised I even liked it this much but no doubt it was the Thai part of the story and Nonkul that initially got me hooked. But as I kept watching I not only got involved in the swimming plots but also the story of Haoran and Tian Lin, it was heartbreaking to see them struggle with their feelings about one another and not being able to completely let go of the other person and not being able to make sense of their true feelings, for each other and toward other people. But the whole thing is crafted well and great production value makes the viewing fun. But I think for some reason that one scene where Nonkul wears a bear costume and goes to Bailong's house, I don't know why it felt poignant and just so beautiful. I don't think this is the type of drama I'd re watch but regardless great for when you need something light but with some emotional scenes.

A friendship made out of dreams

I loved this drama and cast as I have watch twice. The main 2 male lead have been rival's in diving Bai long is one of the top divers and very competitive when against a different team who would use different tricks to make them fail. Wei Le was a great diver from twain until an accident happened during a tournament that left him mentally scared and his partner injured never to dive again. With money problems Bai long team might shut down just before they go to Olympic and there coach scouts Wei Le to join there team as Bai long partner at first he doesn't want it and finally agree to a trial as he gets to go to college. They are put together as roommates and after trials and errors they realize they have become each other accountability partner, but they had an issue with Hao ran who wanted to be Bai long partner but he not strong enough and leaves due to jeousley. As bai long helps Mei Le overcome his fear of heights and his famous dive he starts to issues with his eye and balancing. The doctors explain he needs to stop as the pressure in his inner ear put pressure on the eyes and he could go blind as his mother also suffered from the same thing. He refuses to quit and will continue to fight for a spot on the Olympic team. A must watch as it's a great leason in life to fight for your dream.

Courage, Determination & Friendship

This drama had all the above, and it was really good to see that.

Though this is not a BL, but more a long the line of a bromance, and a bit of love triangle, it is still worth the watch.

The diving and sports side was really good, if you into sports drama, and of course seeing men shirtless doing incredible dives is always a plus in my books. The friendships are incredibly well developed and the chemistry is off the chart, the courage to keep going when things really got bad and hard, the stand up for each other when they got knocked down and there was a bit of romance, heartbreak and determination to keep going at the final competitions despite the risks of losing one sight.

Overall this is a really inspiring drama and enjoyable to watch through.

Dive, it is worth it

I began watching this because it was about diving, I always love watching shows about things I dear not do. What began as just another sports show for me quickly became so endearing, I was taken on a roller coaster of emotions all the while keeping pace with the diving team. The times they won, the times they lost, the times they got drunk because of the pain... (They got drunk a lot...) Dedication to the craft and to each other helped them to find a way and they had to find a way quite often. One obstacle to the next that literally seemed never ending. I think Ari wrote "No tears left" after watching this series. The obsessions and the borderline crazy had me all over the place but his eventual state had me broken; standing right there with Witte wanting to slap somebody.

The team dynamics which appeared like a family; their dedicated to help each other make their dreams come true, to help each other become stronger, to save each other no matter the cost. Coach Yu was more of a mother to them than some of their actual mothers (yes I being petty because you left him, be glad I didn't call your name), she wanted the best for her team, but was never willing to risk them to achieve it. A true gem, especially in contrast to the other coaches that are present within the series, not that they are bad; just that they aren't her.

Witte and Bailong made this show everything that it is, a lot of persons were upset that this wasn't a BL but I never expected it to be. The story wasn't new but these characters and actors made it worth the while to watch. Their relationship progression was simply one of the best parts of the series, never seeming forced nor unrealistic. Going from foes, to chasing each other to another country. Their bromance was a whirlwind and I was living for it, you know the actors are good when you can see their emotions in every worried glance at each other. I know they are billed as perfect partners, but it was so true. When you care enough about someone to risk losing them to make sure they are alive and well, you have truly found something real. I am glad I got to see them hug for real at least once because they honestly deserve it.

This is great for someone's looking for inspiration!

I think this is a great story. Honestly, I was hooked to this because of Non. At first, just like the others, I thought this was a BL story. But then it turns out to be this young adult, deep friendship, competition, inspiration, and cute romance thing. And I just love it. I love the twist of being almost Chinese but with a strong Thai plot hint especially near the end. I think. if you've watched many Thai series already, you'll know what I am talking about. Though for me, the Thai-esque plot twist at the end is quite drastic and made me felt awkward. But that's just the only thing that made me feel differently because overall, this series will really test your feelings. I especially love the tiny plots that tell stories of deep friendships [really like bromance], and I also love how Haoran's character made me want to punch the screen. Overall, the characters really brought my emotions out. Some might say that some parts are quite a cliche or some say it's too light, but for me, the stories are deep enough to pull me out. I tend not to rewatch stories that I love the most, I just want to preserve the feelings that I had at the very first time, but I would enjoy recommending them and maybe watch with them along, especially with friends, because for sure, watching this with them will bring more and different feel than when I watched it alone.

Heart warming

I came for the boy's love but stayed for the drama after I realized it was not boys love.

The story development had many tentacles and i loves the Thai storyline.

These actors have awesome delivery and it doesnt hurt they have awesome bodies.

The side romances are intriging.

Many dramatic tears shed.

There seems be be other versions I will watch later.

The competition really pisses me off but thats drama for you.

These characters really seem to be friends and love each other. It makes you think about your own friend relationships and strengths.

Lacks spice

Even though I rated it a 5, this is a good show. I loved that it is was about diving. The competition aspect of the show was the most interesting part, I even learned how they calculate the points in those competitions. But, there aren't competitions every day, so I think the story besides those lacks a little spice.

I, like every other person that started watching the show, think that it would be amazing if this was bl. The initial relationship between the main character resembles many other bl relationships; the straight romance in this, however, is kinda weak for my standards.

I must say that I get bored really easily, and I usually can't watch longer shows, so if that's not your case probably you're gonna like this.

Não é BL, mas serve um bromance intenso e bem desenvolvido

A série me surpreendeu bastante.
