But the story was absolutely brilliant. It had some great plot twists that were genuine twists, as in, it was actually unpredictable. Obviously it had a scientific aspect to it, but wasn't full of jargon, so you don't need to be a science nerd to enjoy this. It wasn't full of action, though there were some great scenes, but it was never blandly telling the story either. Most of the technical stuff, ie the stuff on computer screens, were in English, and for us non-Japanese viewers, it really helps to understand the plot better. All the characters were fantastic. The writers did a great job balancing out each individual character's depth and background, and so none of the characters felt false, or like just fillers for the plot.
Acting of the cast, again was incredible! there were a couple of iffy moments, but still it was good. Nino I think, did brilliant as Ryuhei, a really fascinating and complicated character. And not just Nino, all others were just as brilliant with their characters.
The music was perfect. They used several tracks, and they matched all the scenes perfectly. It was quite a long film, but it is definitely worth rewatching.
Overall, this movie is totally worth 10/10. No matter if you are a science buff, or action/thriller buff or a Nino stalker, you would absolutely love this film. Happy watching everyone!

It has a unique story, which they executed really good. They managed to give you a story, and twist the story, and twist it again and again. Some things were predictable, even though I had to guess loads in my head. So this isn't movie you'll watch completely brainless, no this movie will make your brain work haha!
The acting was great, I loved the two main leads. They portrayed their characters greatly and I especially Ninomiya. How he did this was amazing and I am going to watch more of him!
The music fitted every scene and complimented the movie.
This is for anyone who likes plot twist, little bit of action, a great logical story and I think anyone can watch this movie!

Are we just our DNA or something more?
It's a movie that makes you think. It's fast paced and interesting but I feel like the ending could have been better.Thing's I liked
- The plot twist at the end, some people said they saw it coming but I didn't.
- Chase scenes.
- Detective actually being smart and trying to work with Kagura.
- The difference between Kagura and Ryu.
- The DNA aspect, nature vs nurture.
Thing's I thought could have been better
- The ending, I thought Kagura was kinda useless at the end.
- The villain, I predicted who it was, the big reveal wasn't really that big.
- The problem with DNA program, it was cliche, it's realistic but I expected something different.
Overall, an enjoyable movie, I liked it.
