Memorable por mucho tiempo

Empecé a ver este drama por las reviews que tenía y por supuesto que tenía mis expectativas altas, expectativas que fueron cumplidas y por mucho, disfrutable desde el primer capítulo al último, las historias de estos cuatro hombres estan muy bien hechas, las historias cuatro parejas son cada una tan diferentes y a la vez tan parecidas en cuanto a vínculos, pude reír, llorar, enamorar, emocionar, enojar, en fin un compendio de emociones que volvería a ver mil veces más. Le recomendaría este drama a cualquiera con los ojos cerrados, lo tiene absolutamente todo. Además te puedes identificar con alguno de los personajes como me pasó a mi. En conclusión un 10/10 bien merecido.

Gentleman’s Dignity (2012) - what made this drama solid is the characters. What do you expect with veteran actors but the best, that is why I could really see the subpar acting skills of the young cast, but they are not bad. The characters are really good to the point where it was easy to get irritated, to laugh, cry along with them. Each and every actor brought their characters to life in style and color. The story is beautifully written, the pacing is great in the drama and how it unfolded, the characters are well written that I really respect that particular age group presented in the drama. The drama is well adjusted to it's romance, comedy as well as life in general that something seems relatable to them. The drama is easy to love. To more dramas like this.

loved the brotherhood of friends

it was a good drama overall. the 4 friends since high school was a pleasure to watch - including the snippets or flashbacks at the beginning of each episode of the specific moments of their lives over the years.
my favorite character was Tae San. he was an intentional man. he chose to love Se-ra and committed himself to her - while he struggled over the marriage issue he still wanted her.
Do Jin - difficult to watch him try to win Yi Soo over. but between Do Jin attempts and YI Soo’s seemingly immature responses/rejections, both of them left much to be desired in the first half.
Lee Jung Rok - what an idiot to cheat on his wife. I don’t have words for his kind. mi seek was just as weak - she actually enabled him by threatening to but never following through with the divorce
Choi Yoon - he always had a pained look on his face regarding Mi Ra. you never got to see him as a successful competent lawyer. mi ra’s many childish ways were annoying, especially her crying. Yoon and Mi Ra’s story arc was the least compelling evincing.
the show got better and ended well.
this drama offered som good insights guys and plenty of truly funny moments.

Dramas don't get better than this gem!

Having watched hundreds of dramas. this one by far is one of the best. I am certain it has to among the top ten on many drama lovers' lists. The characters are varied and loveable. No bad guys here to wreak havoc and none of the usual drama tropes. This is simply an entertaining story of four 40 year old friends, their lives, loves and careers. There is a great cast of characters, a storyline that keeps it interesting, plenty of romance and a great soundtrack. As for rewatch value, that's a given. I have probably seen this from start to finish at least a half dozen times. It remains a hit drama and a fan favorite for very good reasons. Treat yourself to it!

One of my very favorites, out of hundreds of good Kdramas watched.

I was unsure of this one at first, because I'd never heard of anyone in the cast except Kim Woo Bin. And I didn't think the lead men were particularly handsome, either. But, because it was written by the brilliant writer of Descendants of the Sun and many other great and popular dramas, I decided to give it a shot. Honestly, I thought it was brilliant. Witty, engrossing, screamingly funny, romantic, well acted, and very moving. Can't really think of many I liked better than this, and will definitely watch it again with my bestie in a month or two. By the end of this drama, I was in love with this whole very talented cast, and grew to think all of the lead males were adorable. I just can't gush enough, really, but I will spare you and stop now. Except to say that if you're on the fence, WATCH IT. Bet you'll binge it all in a few days. It took me less than four, and I lost some sleep over it.

The worst kdrama, those who gave ratings of10 ....WHY?

I read one of the reviews that says the ugliest 4 leading actors and I agree 101% . Where did they come from?

And the lead girl, the most irritating role ever....I think I’ve seen her before and she was good....I guess in this series, the screenplay or the direction is the problem. The funny thing though, what I like here in MyDramaList are the comments....that entertains me more....I read almost all the comments of those who gave it love score....to the point. My question is for those who gave it 10’s..... shaking my head really hard...... I almost get a whiplash

I gave it a try because of the 8.4 review.....big fat lie....caution .....don’t believe......drop drop drop .....if I can rate it zero....but I can’t submit unless I give a number....bummer

probably would have liked it if I watched it in 2012

I'm writing a review on MDL for the first time. And it is not because I'm in love with this drama. My expectations were high for this one since it had so much positive reviews and I was let down in the first episode itself.

First of all, after like 2016, after watching so many well produced dramas I am easily annoyed by the style (?) most dramas in 2009-2013 have. I don't know how to explain that , the way everyone talks sounds so unnatural and there's this unnecessary background music in every freaking scene and it bothers me a lot.

Talking about this drama, I knew that I will definitely drop it seeing the scene where kim haneul's character's dress was torn when a thread from it gets stuck on the ML's bag. I thought our guy is going to give his coat to her to cover her waist, but instead he made creepy comments about her butt(!) and walked so close to her that the exposed part of her body is not visible to others(if this is not sexual harassment I don't know what is!!) . I hated how he acted like a savior after sexually harassing her and she didn't feel uncomfortable at all? who would like a stranger forcing his body onto you????

All the four men seemed sexist and were acting like those typical sexist men who think being a womanizer is a desirable personality trait for men!

I am not gonna attack the looks of those men because I don't always like conventionally handsome men, but the misogyny and the 2012ish quality of the drama is enough for me to judge the whole drama from a single episode.

If I had watched it in 2012 when I was younger, and thought trashy men are attractive, I would have loved this drama.
