Stupid people that made this drama suck!!!

Give this drama a chance and dont bother what people are saying about the ending. **Read my review!** ;)
One thing I dont get is the significance of the MBLAQ and UKISS people in the show. What? To promote the drama? I think having Mir's sister and Park Yoo Chun's younger brother could already gain people's attention. I like how they didn't use the "Park-Yoo-Chun's-younger-brother-title" on Park Yoo Hwan. There wasn't a sign of JYJ or DBSK. But Go Eun Ah had that "I'm-Mir's-older-sister" title all over her. But nonetheless, the drama was good and it is your typical korean drama, don't expect anything.
The story was that of You're Beautiful's. If you love You're Beautiful, why not love this? It has the same lame ending and the same plot (with more people involved). The acting was acceptable for rookies (almost all of them are rookies, forgive them, accept them, just like how you accepted Suzy on Dream High!)
I really like how they used real Korean celebrities' names like:
Oh In Young = Seo In Young;
Kang Woo Hyun = Infinite's Woo Hyun;
Kim Hyun Seung = B2ST's Hyun Seung;
Park Ki Bum = Super Junior's or SHINee's Ki Bum;
Kang Chang Min = TVXQ's ChangMin;
Ji Seung Yeon = KARA's SeungYeon.
I'm not sure if it's plain coincidence or what but I really like the concept.
They showed bloopers at the end and they're sooo cute! Hahaha! They were funny too. Park Yoo Hwan's cute when he makes mistakes. :">
I love the music! Loving the title song, Stand Up! I actually wish M2 Junior is a real group.
Trivia: M2 Junior's leader, Hyun Seung. Can you guess whose YOUNGER brother he is? FT Island's Song Seung Hyun (1992; 180 cm tall). M2 Junior's leader is born in 1994 and 184-186cm tall! Who'd believe that he's younger? =))))
[extra] ...i think this has been longest review I've written. =))))

A typical gender bender with a girl dressing as a boy. Confusion ensues as our male lead doesn't know if he might be gay. Only this time most of our characters are underdogs. There is a great feel as they all try to prove themselves. This set-up has a few people that already know she is female which means she has help. Although not much is done to disguise her being a girl, basically she uses the men's bathroom now.
This is definitely a romantic comedy. There are a lot of gags one whole plot arc revolves around vomit. Certainly our male lead is a brooding misunderstood work-a-holic but he is already melting. This is not an angsty drama but seems like there will be decent conflict because we have complex characters even the minor ones.
The music is excellent so far. There was an amazing remix of Beethoven into hip hop. The songs are catchy and we get to see all of our minor leads sing at least a little bit.
There is the typical ex-gf spoiled girl character, but each story needs a villain. She is clinging onto the male lead pathetically. Our other villain is a director that tries to stop M2Junior, but so far she seems Lawful Evil.
I was considering this show average in terms of plot, but the last episode one moment won me over. They fight and she leaves. Only to learn immediately after outside she was wrong. And she actually went back right away to apologize unlike typical k-drama where they both silently brood and we have dramatic montages. Writer is NOT dragging out the drama which is good, because this is a feel-good which means it has rewatch potential if it sticks with it. The writing is staying tight seems like most new conflicts/issues are resolved in two episode arc. There have been hints that she will reveal she is a girl soon rather than at the end which would make this a much needed update on the gender bender if the angst comes before the end.

There isn't much to say about the cast. I know some people notice that Micky Yoochun's younger brother Park Yoo Hwan stars in this drama. I believe he did a good job but it wasn't much to say about his acting. It's not much to say about the cast as a whole either because I feel like I didn't get to know them very well individually. I honestly wish the boy band was a little bit smaller so I could have connected with them more.
I will say that it might be a waste of time for some at the end. At the time it was airing they weren't getting enough ratings so they had to wrap things up in 14 episodes instead of 16. Let me tell you that they didn't do a good job of wrapping everything up at all. There are a LOT of questions unanswered.
I wouldn't re-watch it again because it almost seems pointless since everything wasn't wrapped up properly.
If you want to watch something to pass by the time and get a cute little romance then I think this drama is for you. But if you're someone who hates when dramas don't tie up story lines properly then you'll hate it.
I do believe if they finished the drama with sixteen episodes then I would have given it a better review. The drama isn't that amazing in the first place but it held it's own. It's a shame because the drama was actually somewhat good.

But overall, a definite great watch! Worth my time!

I liked the cast and the fact that the main girl was actually boyish and strong and not some whiny heroine! Comedy in the show is awesome, especially in the first half of the show. But as usual the second half gets a bit boring.
The most annoying thing about this drama was that "the world" aka settings were so one dimensional. There was this small company with like 5 people working there? Everything happened within this company and there was pretty little interaction with the outside world, except a flower shop and a few guys from the rival company. What I'm trying to say the settings felt really artificial and unreal. Like the characters were cut from the outside world and lived in their own little realm.
As a good note the usual "plastic" superficial feeling I get when watching teenage dramas like Dream High and You Are Beautiful is missing. You know, looks pretty but doesn't have a soul? I feel like those high budget dramas are too polished and artificial, like a face after plastic surgery. This one has a gruff charm to it, and I'd really suggest watching this drama rather than You Are Beautiful. This show is entertaining, funny and doesn't really drag much.
As many people mentioned already the ending is pretty bad due to 16 episodes being cut to 14. There are a lot of loose ends but you can assume the results so it's not that bad, it's just that the show has an unfinished feeling to it. And the last episode is super rushed, they could have wrapped it up better without making it feel so rushed... but I think the team lost its hopes on the drama and gave up halfway or something...
Anyway, an interesting show if you like the genre, if you are not much into cross dressing comedy then this show doesn't have much to offer for you.

Anxiously waiting for the next episode! :3

The story line was quite similar to You're Beautiful's version, but if you've seen both dramas, you can see a lot of differences-at least, I did xP I won't go into specifics. Main point: if you liked You're Beautiful and are still hungry for a similar plot but not so identical it's boring to watch, you should try watching this drama:)
The casting wasn't my favorite. I never questioned any of the actors except the main roles. They were attractive, don't get me wrong. And their acting was top-notch. But standing next to all those extremely hot guys, they somehow just ended up "ok".
But not matter how much it sounds different, I really did love the main roles. They were adorable! and so much fun:)
Another thing that bothered me throughout the entire drama: Seung Yeon's chest!! She was supposed to be a MAN. I'm quite sure those could not be classified as man-boobs; they were pretttty big~ There was no overlooking them. Even in baggy shirts. They probably could have done a better job wrapping those things up!
I loved that all the actors in this drama actually had talent (In Young excluded since I never actually saw her doing anything a talented superstar might do... don't even mention the heinous dancing!!-though I'm sure I could do much worse;)) their singing & dancing was fantastic!! The re-watch value went up a LOT just for the sake of hearing those amazing voices again >.< Loved it

And about the ending, which was especially criticized: I think the ending wasn't bad. At least it didn't leave me heartbroken. I think it was a quite ok-ending.
But what I missed was a continuation of the relationship of the President and Team Leader Han. This really is missing. Or the reaction of the people upon finding out that Seung Yeon is female. And what did she do afterwards? What about M2 Junior? And what about Woo Hyun? What did he do? It was really an 'ultimate' open ending.
But what irritated me (not necessarily meant bad) the most, was the resemblance of Park Yoo Hwan (Kang Woo Hyun) to his brother. At first I didn't even know that he is the brother of Park Yoo Chun. The resemblance is really astonishing.
At the end I want people who read this review to give the drama a chance. It's really not half as bad as everybody may think. Just give it a try and if you still don't like it, you can drop it anytime.

Must admit that the theme alone had me watch it in one sitting, but couldn't help being disappointed with how it ended. Since, when a story ends, I like to see most of the loose ends tied, specially the main conflict. Besides this, it was a pretty enjoyable ride.
Gave it an 8 because I did like the theme. Otherwise, the story was all over the place and there were too many things that just were not explained or didn't make sense in the plot. The acting was ok, a little bit over acted in some parts (but nothing one really minds), plus, the k-pop star value present was really pleasing. The music was ok as well. But I don't think I will watch this show again.
If you don't have another drama you are dying to watch, then I suggest you watch this one. It is entertaining enough, most of the characters are adorable and there are k-pop stars galore! What I really didn't like was the final episode for a lack of conflict resolution. I don't mind stories having open endings...that is, when they are done right and are the result of the wrap up of the main storyline.

The story would have been better if they had focused more on the group fusing these different genres together to emerge as a standout group. I also liked the lead actress and actor. I'm so glad they gave her backbone.
....The Title should have been My Dream, I Dream, Dream Fusion, Dream X...anything other than the title they chose.
Fyi: Ko Eun-Ah was more believable as a boy than, than Shin Hye in You are Beautiful, to me. That's the only comparison I'll make w/ that series cause it ends there. She was convincing as a Tom Boy.
Sigh... I could have loved this...(i liked Mr. Rock-n-Roll's husky voice n vibe)
This is a filler series if you need 1 to watch. The 1st few episodes are worth it.
