I can't believe I haven't thought up of a review for this drama. Queen In Hyun's Man is cute, clever and stunning.

First of all,I'm a sucker for romantic comedy genres and I have to say this one left a mark in my favorites. If you check my list, 70 - 80% is composed of romantic genres.

As for what I have to say about this drama. The story line was captivating. It kept on making me watch one episode after another without stopping. I'm not really into the time traveling thing but this was an important aspect about the drama.
The actor/actress choices were great picks. The chemistry between the main lead was amazing; more so, enviable. It appeared genuine to me.
The OST is also very heartwarming. Deok Hwan's - I'm Going to See You is a must have on any music players. No joke. Did I mention the kiss scenes? You're in for a surprise.

To conclude, I really recommend this drama to anyone who enjoys romantic comedy genres. You won't regret it. Pinky promise~

So worth it. ive seen it 4x already! one of my tops, if not my number 1 choice.
great chemistry and interesting storyline. There are a lot of cheesy moments but not as many clichés as other dramas. Hot kisses. It’s has a great combination of humor and storyline. Those sad moments are very powerful and moving. things are well-explained.
i wanted it to be longer!

This has to be one of the best dramas I've seen! Everything was so consistent and even though it's a fantasy drama, it was realistic. It ticks all the boxes. Romance, Comedy, Action, Politics, Fantasy, Historical. Although there are many genres for this I feel that the writers balanced them out really well! The Casts were A-MAZING!!! The chemistry between the leads was just phenomenal.

The story isnt the most unique and it isnt the best. But its strong. Throughout the whole series there was no messing about. It was straight forward and straight to the point - no fillers or anything. Some dramas have over dramatic storylines and they simply arent convincing, while this one is. It is another time travelling drama but the mechanism of time traveling in this series is very different to the ones we have seen, so you can't really compare it to Rooftop Prince because both are very very different. It's an incredible fluffy drama but not over the top. It has the more serious and heavy element that plays a major part in the series, which was balanced really well with the lovely romantic scenes.

The Acting. Just WOW! Yoo In Na's first lead, and she did a REALLY REALLY good job. Ji Hyun Woo, also was amazing. Ji Hyun Woo isnt the best looking actor out there, but he shows intelligence and charisma through his character that I havent seen before and I fell for him. Just shows that looks arent everything really. Hee Jin, also is your typical ditsy lead but one thing that is unexpected is that she's actually clever and strong. She's really outgoing and bold, and this shows throughout the whole drama. She doesnt suffer from the typical i'm-oh-so-bold-but-after-episode-10-I'm-suddenly-unable-to-fend-for-myself sydrome. She can pull of the serious and heartbreaking scene extremely convincingly, before I know it, I am crying with and for her!

Both of these leads are definitely going to be within my radar from now on. The chemsitry between them are so realistic and sweet. My heart has suffered many palpitations because of these two! None of the shy touching-lips-slightly kisses but full on mouth-open kisses. HOT! They are so good to watch together. If nothing peaks your interest, then these two definitely will, I gaurantee it! The rest of the casts are flawless and pulled off their characters. What more can I say? A lot but I'm not going to bore you with how much I love Yoo In Na and Ji Hyun Woo right now :D! Be warned, you cannot stop smiling when watching this.

The music compliments the acting and the story really well and relate to the theme of the series. I have downloaded the full OST and I will enjoy it because it was one of the reasons that got me hooked from episode one.

I'm buying the DVD when it comes out so I will definitely rewatch this :)

Although some things aren't explained it's pretty much up to your own imagination to figure it out. And most probably you will be right. If you are looking for a romantic comedy with strong non stereotypical leads this is definitely the one. For me it was perfect in every way and I really cannot fault anything.

A perfect 10 for Queen In Hyun's Man!!

But to tell you the truth... at first, I hesitated A LOT on watching this drama. I didn't know most of the characters, The story itself sounded very similar to Rooftop prince and I was wondering over and over why other reviewers gave this drama such a high remark. So I gave it a try and oh-My-G! I was thankful for that. It was the right decision to make.

10 FOR THE STORY. I was like happy, sad, surprised, dreamy, laughing and crazy for most of the time. I agree with what other people says about this drama - It's really 'mind blowing'. I really hate how every episode ends in a scene where you will want to continue and go to the next until late at night and you can't sleep because there's still the next episode and it's telling you 'watch me! watch me!. haha! Also, I personally think that this is the best among all the time-traveling dramas I've watched. It wasn't just all about time-traveling and having to live in that new magical place for a certain period of time before going back to normal. It went to the extent of having to go back and forth in time and having to choose where you actually belong. It went to the extent of fighting for your own choice and happiness.

10 FOR ACTING/CAST. Like I said, at first I hesitated because I didn't know who the casts are. 'are they good in acting?' 'will the lead characters even give a little chemistry?'. Well, yes they did and they did it good. It was not just about the great chemistry between the two lead characters, but their natural acting. I loved every character in this drama. The only ones I hated were the main villains. I was taken by many scenes where I would either squeal in sweetness, laugh hard on their antics or cry because of their emotions. I'm hands-down when it comes to their acting skills. Everyone played their characters well.

10 FOR MUSIC. I'm actually having a bad case of LSS right now because of the songs in this drama. Yeah, I'm a big fan of Kpop music but I found the songs here sweet and well fitted with the story. The emotions of the scenes gets even more emphasized with the help of great music they played here.

100 FOR REWATCH VALUE. No, that was not a typographical error. I could give this one a 100 if there was that option. I could watch this drama over and over and never get tired of it. I would also recommend everyone to watch this drama, even just give it a try. I promise, you won't regret it.

10 FOR OVERALL. I guess this is obvious. This is now one of my favorites. It is a fresh drama with a 'mind blowing' story, talented actors and an epic ending... haha! that was just a teaser guys!

well, I hope my review helped. hehe. have a nice day everyone! :)

Just..such an awesome story. The usual relationship misconceptions that are so present in the dramas nowadays aren't in this one, and its a relief. The story is really well written and well played out. When its sad and you feel sad, its happy and giddy and you feel the same way. Not like rooftop prince at all except the time travelling, the ending is satisfying and the whole show is just great. If I could give the story a score above 10 I would.

Hands down this is the first drama I've watched in a long time that didn't have me wishing to fast forward on any part. I don't know if it's the best drama that I've watched (probably not), but right now it sure feels like it.
The writing was simply superb. It's amazing how they paid attention to each little detail. There weren't any holes anywhere. There was nothing that wasn't explained in some point of the story. The whole story had me in my toes the whole, waiting too see what was going to happen next.I loved the way they used an unoriginal concept and turned it into something completely different, without using the usual things. For example, I loved that Boong Do was so practical and smart, and that instead of focusing on how much he was lost, he focused on learning all kind of new stuff and trying to adapt to the future. I also liked that both times in the story were important, not just the future.
The cast was perfect. The chemistry between Yoon In Na and Ji Hyun Woo obviously can't be denied. I hadn't watched anything with Ji Hyun Woo in it until now (I'll be sure to correct that mistake), but I had watched Secret Garden and The Greatest Love with Yoon In Na, and I never thought possible she could be that good acting. That just proofs that looks DO deceive, because I thought of her as just another actress playing small mean roles. The secondary cast was great too, if sometimes a little annoying.
The music was really according to the drama. It's not something I'd have on my iPod to listen to all the time, but it did fit perfectly to the drama. It was so good that even the actors used it to get in the mood for the sad scenes, how awesome is that?
I'll definitely rewatch this sometime soon, when I'm in the mood for some epic love story.
Overall, a pefectly well deserved 10.
PS: This has some of the best kisses I've ever seen on a drama!
Enjoy watching!

I have to give this drama all 10s because of how amazing it was. This was probably the best romance drama I've watched so far, and the best couple. You wont help but to say "Awwwww!" throughout the whole thing.

If you're looking for a good romance without the bickering and fighting, then this is definitely for you, and it even has a good slice of action in it as well.

The story was brilliant, the acting was really great, and the music fit with the story perfectly. I don't rewatch dramas, but this one I would definitely consider.

First think: seems corny and alredy see,
But
Now: so cute, romantic, funny... And a true and real love story (despite the plot that it's a fantasy)... It remember me coffee Prince for the alchimia between the lead roles... And... The best kisses from years!!!
If you are a little bit bored about the "girl that cry and can't decides between the main lead and the second lead" or about the "man that don't know how to express his feeling" or about a love story that really develop only in the last Two episodes.. Ok you have found the drama for you!
For me one of the best drama from months.. It remember me coffee Prince or secret garden.. great!!!
The 9 for the music is only because there is drama that has a better sound, not because the music it's not good.. I like it very much.

This is seriously one of the best kdrama i've ever saw. It's definitely a must watch if you want to laugh, cry, go OMG and swoon. The acting was just amazing all round that you can't help but feel for the characters. When they smiled you smiled, when they cried you cried and when their heart broke so did yours. Everything from this drama was amazing including the music, script, camera work and effects.

Secondly Ji Hyun Woo and Yoo In Na chemistry is off the charts and that just made the kisses so much more AWESOME. Also not only does this drama had the BEST male & female lead but also the BEST female second lead character you can think of.

All in all this is a wonderful drama and i would recommend it to anyone.

Just recently finished watching this drama and decided that I had to write a review of it. While this is not the type of story line I enjoy usually, I decided to give it a chance and I haven't regretted it (I watched the entire drama in two days.... despite having a job).

STORY: The story is a time jumping one, specifically man jumping 200 years into the future. While time travel is usually overdone (this and Rooftop Prince where the two Korean time traveling dramas of the season) it feels very fresh. One thing that usually annoys me about time-travel romance dramas (especially Asian ones) is that the time traveling mechanic takes second place to the romance. This is a problem affecting many sci-fi Korean/Japanese dramas (Secret Garden in particular). However, they gave the time traveling device rules and stuck to those rules without having to over explain. Some would argue that in the end the rule is broken, but that isn't the way that I read it. Also, both the past and present time segments have very developed and enjoyable stories. Also, while there are other love interests in the drama the main characters are never really tempted which is nice since the story isn't focused on over dramatic love triangles. If the main characters stop believing in each other they always have a legitimate reason. As for the historical aspects, the various changes always feel natural and never forced (when time travely changes occur). Outside of the time travel, the politics are easy to understand and well explained thanks to both the explanations in the future setting as well as great cinematography in the past settings. Although not all these character's get a lot of screen time, their roles and actions are always clear. My only complaint is that Lady Jang in both past and present is used in the beginning and the end but almost absent from the middle. I would have liked to see more of that character since she should be an important figure in the plot. The story is definitely top notch in both the sci-fi, romance, and historical drama fronts.

ACTING: The acting in this drama is awesome and I can't think of any complaints. The two mains are truly fantastic and have great chemistry (at the time of this review they are dating). All the support roles are believable in both time periods. I think that the entire cast all just had great chemistry together and I wouldn't change a single person.

MUSIC: I want to give a higher music score, but now that I've finished the drama, I can only really recall one song. While the music in the drama is well paced with the scenes, none of the themes really made a lasting impression. The music definitely plays second fiddle to the story.

RE-WATCH VALUE: RE-WATCH THIS DRAMA! I started it again immediately after I finished it. The story is just so intricate and engaging that I couldn't help it. While you know how it's going to end and most of the surprise moments, re-watching can give you a better understanding of the time traveling aspects. Understanding the historical parts in-depth allows you to understand the main man much better.

OVERALL: I think that everyone should watch this drama. It has a great production value and story. Definitely an example for future sci-fi dramas to follow. In my top ten.

This review may contain spoilers
To me, this has been one of the best dramas I have watched this year. The romance, the action, the time traveling and the emotional roller coaster just kept me glued to my computer (as well as, sometimes, my box of Kleenex).

Maybe it got upgraded in my heart since I watched it after reading about the real romance behind the cameras between the two leads. So adorable.

Anyway, going into the drama. Simple story of boy meets girl while escaping a life threatening situation. Girls falls for boy, boy falls for girl. No one approves. A big political subplot thickens. Yet, the most important of challenges, the boy and girl are from different centuries - how will THAT ever work out?

I found that the suspension of disbelief was very well done in this drama. The premise behind the time traveling and its consequences. Being more mystical than scientific, allowed it certain liberties that, otherwise, I would have not allowed to pass. I read in previous comments that it doesn't make sense towards the end. I wish to defer. If there is something constant from beginning to end in this drama is that things are not always what they seem. Yet, I can not go further into the explanation, because I don't like to give spoilers in my reviews. (If anyone feels differently, feel free to leave me a message, we can discuss it there :D )

I think that the chemistry between the leads made this a really enjoyable show. And it made it easy for me to believe they were actually falling and in love. The supporting actors of the present seemed to be there more for comedic relief while the supporting actors from the Joseon era were the ones to actually put meat in the bones of this drama.

The music is splendid. And, if you watch it at Viki you will find the translation which accurately transmit the feelings of each of the scenes it plays through.

I think that my only complaint is that annoying ringtone Hee Bin uses at the beginning. But they get rid of it after a couple of eps.

What can I say, I would definitely watch it again, and again, and again.

This is definitely an absolutely PERFECT drama. It's comparable with You're Beautiful or Love Rain ( it might be even better, but as the stories are too different it's unable to say which one is really the best)

I love the main couple - this story includes just enough romance, BEST kisses, cuteness, funny moments, thrill, seemingly uninpossible solutions and situations.

Even the evil characters are like action-movie evil and they don't have this fake and unnatural actions (comparing to some other dramas) - and their fate is also exceptable. There's not too much attention on it.

The ending is ingenious enough to bring a tear into your eyes and leave you off with a smile on your face.

The acting and music is superb.
Also this drama has too many cute scenes that even I - a person who rarely rewatches something - might look up my favourite scenes or watch it with my sister if she decides to watch it too due to my convincing. :D

Anyways, thank you for such a beautiful drama!
I certainly recommend anyone to watch it !!!
