Almost worked

This drama had potential to be so much better especial with the ML. Li Hong Yi is a talented actor, too pretty in some angles, handsome in others but his portray of this character is superb.

What worked:
1. ML character and acting. Great match to the story
2. Romantic comedy theme. Subtle flirting, love/hate relationship, no cliche overload
3. 2nd lead Girl -- She's cute, not the typical backstabbing character

What didn't work:
1. FL - I didn't think the casting was right for the role. She's 33 but looked way older (by Asian standards)
2. FL character - complete mismatch. If one goes through that much "tragic" events no way would she act like the younger self
3. 2nd Lead ex bf - liked the 10 year later version over 1 comment? Not believable
4. Lack of interesting supporting side characters

Honestly the only reason to watch this is for the ML.

A Pleasant Surprise!

This was a surprisingly fun adventure to go on with the FL. She travels back in time to when she was in her 20's, and learns that she must help manage the new, childish CEO of a corporation, handed to him by his father.

Unlike many, or dare I say it, most dramas, the FL here was not only capable, but also, not an annoying push-over of a female character! Hurrah! She laments her childish nature when coming face to face with her younger self (wouldn't all of us?), and regrets her obsession and unconditional love for her then boyfriend, who we later learn is the antagonist of the drama.

This was a fun, light-hearted and totally relatable drama, with the science fiction element of time travel not being the main focus of the story. I know the beginning, with the FL tearing the hot CEO's shirt was not only in bad taste, since imagine if roles were reversed! But also not keeping with her otherwise very capable character.

If you can forgive the first episode, then I think it will be an enjoyable viewing experience for you as well.

Parallel Love?

This is a story of another time travelling concept but this time the FL goes back 10 years ago from Year 2020 back to 2010 and not the ancient time or wuxia period. Actually I don't fancy watching time travelling drama but due to Li Hong Yi, I decided to give myself a chance to watch it. This drama surprisingly has quite interesting story. At least the FL & 2nd FL don't go chasing after the ML like a mad lady and neither of them being too loud too.
In this drama you may see the development of ML @ Jiao Yao role from an irresponsible person to a mature & responsible guy. All this thanks to the future FL @ Lin Miao who slowly transform him and eventually both fall for each other. One thing I notice on this drama is the Jiao Yao faces endless obstacles one after another regardless how much efforts he has put in yet he faces challenges but with Lin Miao by his side he faces all of these challenges bravely and smartly.
This is a romcom story with a total of 24 episodes so I don't have too high expectation on it. Only thing is the ending was a bit rushing like they want to just end it very fast. Anyway if you are into happy ending and romcom drama especially if one likes time travelling story then this one might suit your taste.
Overall the castings over here are okay and another thing is the songs featured in this drama seems to sound like Korean songs but sang in Chinese language. Lol

Parallel Love had potential but became less interesting as it went on

I dropped this drama after the 20th episode because it was getting boring, and the chemistry between the female lead (FL) and male lead (ML) was becoming too clichéd. It was nice at first, but I mainly watched it for Li Hongyi, who was the only character I truly adored. The FL was also beautiful, but I didn't like her character much. As for the second girl (whose name I can't remember), the one Li Hongyi was supposed to marry, I think she deserved him more. But in the end, he fell for the FL. Overall, the drama was enjoyable up until about episode 18, but after that, it started to drag, and I ended up fast-forwarding through episodes 20 to 23 just to get to the plot and ending. The ending wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. So, "Parallel Love" was just average for me.

I LOVED everthing about this drama especially the leads.

This drama was on my watch list as 'high priority' ever since I watched Love is better than immortality. I really wanted to watch Li Hong Yi in this drama, one, because it's him, and two because of his hair. But I put off watching this, afraid that it wouldn't meet my expectations. But it went beyond my expectations.

I LOVED this drama. I loved Li Hong Yi and Shi Shi's characters so much. They also had amazing chemistry. Unlike many of Li Hong Yi's dramas that (for me) goes downhill, this is the only one that was consistent and had a really good script.

I loved Lin Miao. This is one of the first Cdramas I've watched where the FL is not immature in any way, but also not annoyingly mature. We also got to meet Lin Wei Jun, the immature, younger version of the FL who we get to see slowly mature. Shi shi did an amazing job portraying both characters, you could really see the difference in their personalities.

Jiao Yang is such a sweet and innocent person. The first boss ML in a Cdrama that isn't cold in any way. Despite the fact that he is a bit immature at first, we got to see so many of his good aspects. What a great leader he was and how caring he was to his people. He had no flaws, if anything, it was his innocence, how trusting he was of people that he's been warned not to trust. But that was understandable, because how can one think to not trust their own brother.

I loved Jiao Yang and Lin Miao's relationship and how it developed. Though it seemed slow, it grew to be an epic love within the span of 3 months. Jiao Yang was so sweet to Lin Miao even when he didn't seem to particularly like her. Neither seemed to have much experience in romance despite Jiao Yang's past 8 girlfriends (which I'm pretty certain he lied about) and Lin Miao forgot how to have a relationship after her really toxic past experience with love. I also loved Wei Jun and Jia Yang's relationship which was (ironically) in no way romantic. They were like siblings and they were hilarious together. I genuinely couldn't imagine Jia Yang and Wei Jun being in any sort of romantic relationship despite the fact that Lin Miao is future Wei Jun.

This drama had quite a lot of business talk. Usually I skip business talk in dramas, but I watched it all in this drama because it was really relevant to every aspect of the plot if this drama. The business talk was also interesting and not boring as it usually is in other dramas.

The last few episodes of this drama made me feel like crying. Especially when it came close to the 3 month date. You could see the love and concern Jiao Yang had for Lin Miao as she got sick and he took care of her. But, you also got to see Jiao Yang becoming independent, or forcing himself to be able to go on without Lin Miao knowing that she has to leave. I loved how he arranged so that he will be able to continue without her so that he can wait for her hopeful return in 10 years. It was so sad and heart wrenching to see that if I didn't already know that (spoiler) this drama had a happy ending, I'd have cried the last 2 episodes straight.

Only two things could have made this drama better (SPOILERS):
1) It would have been better if some of the important conversations and interactions were on screen. I hated how they had the scene of Jiao Yang realising for himself that Lin Miao is from the future, off screen. They had a lot of conversations that were relevant and would have been really interesting, off screen.
2) I wish they had some sort of explanation for the time travel. Not how it works, but how it changed Lin Miao's present (2020) life. And what happened to Lin Wei Jun in 2020. The ending, though happy didn't explain how Lin Miao was still herself in 2020 when she met Jiao Yang again. I mean, it can be interpreted that she somehow merged with Lin Wei Jun through a time loop, or something.

I really wish they had a more extended ending where they focused on the main leads in the present (2020). Then again, Jiao Yang didn't seem to change much, so their relationship would likely remain the same. But, still, there was a 10 year jump. I NEED MORE.

This drama is so good but has a lot of conflicts. Li Hongyi and Kira Shi did a great job despite of their age gap. One thing that I hate the most in here is that there are so many antogonist and major conflicts for the protagonists to bear with. But i like how they've got to solve it after 1-2 episode. I highly recommend this drama coz it gives me a roller coaster of emotions. The script is somehow a little vague for me because there are some characters that you will not understand how did they become like. I think the writer was lack of ideas and you can find some scenes similar to other dramas. Some plots were predictable but there are major twist at the end of this drama. It's not a drama that you can rewatch over and over though the chemistry of Hongyi and Shi Shi is really good. Their sweet moments were very natural and something that you will love for the rest of this drama.

The lead characters made things interesting but ending was so poorly written (Happy ending)

When I started watching, I wasn't exactly a fan of the pairing but they both grew on me. I enjoyed some of their interactions, some were far too silly which again points to poor writing. In the hands of a good writer, this drama could have done a much better job.

The time travel element wasn't ever fully explained.
Why did it happen?
Who sent her the message?
What happened when she back?

What spoils the story is that they went so far to create a clear distinction between Lin Miao and Lin Wei Jun, so much so that it is very difficult to reconcile that they are one person. The ending is so rushed and ambiguous that the viewers are left to figure out what happened.

The simplest explanation should be: Lin Miao went back to her time 10 years in the future, during these 10 years Lin Wei Jun grew into herself becoming Lin Miao and that was who came back for Jiao Yang who waited for her.

But then so many new questions arise. Since Lin Wei Jun life was altered by her future self and Jiao Yang, wouldn't her future self have new memories? Would she be the same Lin Miao that visited the past? Or would she be more like her past self? And what does that mean for their relationship?

A good storyline with a worse ending ever!

Time travel

I've already seen numerous time-travel dramas, so this one didn't offer anything new . It's a lightweight series with a lackluster storyline, relying solely on the commendable performances of the actors and actresses. Unfortunately, the drama's weakest point lies in its ending – the conclusion of the story didn't resonate with me, and I found it dissatisfying. Upon realizing that she came from the future, his reaction was surprisingly nonchalant; he calmly revealed his awareness, saying, "I knew you were from the future." Ideally, his initial response should have been more reluctant, hesitating to send her back. However, the turning point occurred when he learned of the dire consequences – her potential death if she didn't return. This revelation should have left him devastated, adding a more emotional and impactful layer to the storyline.

Will update this when I finish the drama

This is the first drama where I got to know Li Hong Yi and fell in love with his cute antics. I just love staring into his eyes in this drama.
Their acting was okay.
So far, the story is good. I just wish the ending won't be disappointing. I did peak at the ending without the subtitles and it seems great.
I love the chemistry between the actors and the friendship they formed in the workplace. It made me nostalgic about the chaos and the comradery of the office workers.
Of course, there's the fight for power or position and a third party in the romance.

No No No NOOOOOO

The plot is interesting- FL travels back in time 10yrs. Her mission is to help ML who is a bummer become the CEO of the company his parents started. She has 3 months to achieve this. Actually sounds very intriguing but unfortunately the drama failed to deliver.

Epi1-10 was not too bad, it was introducing the characters to the audience. The build-up romance was also alright. ML was very sweet to FL, at the same time both are childish and bickering with one another. After that it just got boring and going in circles. The business side of the story was also dull, and the half-brother (who is the villain) showed no development of character. The chemistry and romance between leads was not great, kinda mechanical.

I would say skip this. It was disappointing.
