Would be better without romance
I watched this because of Ren Allen and I saw some teasers on Youtube and thought his character seems refreshing and he looks hotter.The idea of a childish or immature young man getting interested in being a firefighter to save people and start to be passionate about it is what I was expecting to see.
It was good when the focus was only about firefighters but then it started to focus on romance... which honestly speaking isn't all that interested and just plain cringey.
There was no chemistry between the Main couple, Ren tried his best but the FL was just.... too cold... not really a good actress.
It's sad because Ren looks like he really had fun filming this drama.

Started strong then fell into Rom-com plot ruined the whole genera
I had high expectations for this one from the scenes of the trailers and first few episodes ,, I thought it will only focus on rescue missions, fire fighting , maybe side story of slight Romance and What I was longing for Bromance especially between the firefighters but As usual the writers focus was else where ,,,,, he or she put too much talk and nonsense scenes about the romantic interests and the administrative issues of the firefighters ,, too much filler scenes ,, there were very good and strong episodes and there were a lot of filler episodes in such not too long drama ,, I was bored a lot to be honestI wanted refreshing rescue missions every episode but that didn't happen ,, I wanted more strong Bromance scenes but it wasn't that strong nor good may be there were few but it was cut mostly too
The growth of the main character was horrible ,,him imitating old woman is horrible ,, Immature fire fighter to the end
there were some good fire fighting scenes and rescuing from the firefighters to their collogues but not that much nor that focus .. the injuries were all cut and jump to hospital okey and fine or dead on the ground no Angst ,, it's like you got hurt walk it off ,, even when his friend died in a fire his reaction wasn't what I was expecting
the writer wasted a lot of time on side stories and dull boring scenes
The ending was the worst ever to be honest ,, the whole drama is a big disappointment
I watch American similar tv show called chicago fire it has every weak fire fighting mission very different and very creative also it has the love lives of the fire fighters but in good balance with every mission and with good point to every rescue also the tv show called 911 is one of the best of this genera also American and it has both in good balance because the genera makes it possible to actually tell the public about fire safety and the dangers that can happen not all about administrative talk nor about love lives and social problems of the fire fighters more than the mission

Not that bad, watch for brotherhood and Ren Jia Lun
This is my first review. I just want to say the drama is not the worst I’ve seen and in my opinion, not as bad as the other reviewers say. And so far romance is not front and center. There are funny moments and touching moments, the kind I expected from this type of drama about forging an elite firefighting squad. I think it adequately depicts the honorable profession and the sacrifices they make to society. That said, I think Ren Jia Lun carried the drama with some of the guys on his team. I certainly didn’t continue watching this for the romance. The 1FL’s acting is a bit flat (I think she was better in Pearl Eclipse) and the 2FL’s character is a bit too aggressive and annoying for my taste.Was this review helpful to you?
Its a good drama !
i don't agree with people saying in few reviews about drama , this is a very good drama . slowly growth of a young man and his capability to understand his purpose of life. other scenes and side stories are not boring its a series not movie, realistically we have to understand daily life of Firefighters. these kind of drama helps youth to choose their path in life and career. i am glad watching this and recommend young people to watch and understand life of firefighter. having romance id part of life but understanding different kind of romance with heavy responsibility is also very important. we cant go and ask people how there life is going on but with these kind of scripts we can understand life of people who are always on duty with their life in their hands for society.Was this review helpful to you?

No Good, But Not Bad, Just SOSO
I wanted to watch this drama because I am such a big fan of Ren Jia Lun but it was not as good as I would have like it to be. In some way it felt like a documentary while they explain the training and everything that fire fighters do. Then after you get constant scenes of them training you get to see a small part of action of a fire or a rescue. You get to know very little about the characters other then the lead roles. I was very surprise how early in the episode one of the characters dies. The 2nd couple started with a good story but then all the suddenly the writer decides to have the female character not want to get marry after all she fought to have the male character fall in love with her and she leaves because she can't face him on something her father did. Then she comes back they get back together but her father is against it. The story did not cut it for me. The romance of the 2 leads had no chemistry and the female lead was a cold turkey. The drama was to long and slow in some scenes. It was an OK drama if you are a fan but not a favorite.Was this review helpful to you?
Chen Xiao Yun is a mistake
I have seen many dramas that Allen acted. His strength is in ancient titles. However, his image in the drama for modern role is quite good. But there is no CP feel with the main actress and she is a terrible actress. Her acting is stiff and she cannot portray the essence well. This show is very painful to watch because of her. I thought after 18 episodes, things will get better. Unfortunately, if not for Allen ren, there is no value to watch. If it's a love story, then it looks more like puppy love of Allen. If it's about fire fighting,then it's good. The main actress is not pretty or even bubbly to entice me to watch the changes in this drama and definitely not worth watching the whole show.Was this review helpful to you?

A Good Start But Lost Interest Quickly
Honestly, I was excited but also hesitant to try another firefighter theme drama but sad to say, I'm disappointed how this ended up with the amount of episodes I've seen. It started off pretty good. A firefighter team trying to recruit more members, sees potential in the childish ML, recruits him and others to go through a training process. But see, the problem here is they rushed this part. Just like "The Flaming Heart", when you rushed scenes, the drama ends up being a mess as the writer here is trying to put too many ideas. The flow just messes up and this is how you start to lose interest. The editing and transition from scene to scene seemed similar to The Flaming Heart and if you've seen that, then you know how bad it is, as there are lot of times when you're watching this drama, things that happen seems random or out of place.So, I stuck through "The Flaming Heart" because I ended up being too invested into the characters despite the poor plot and transition. This drama on other hand didn't do that for me and I just lost interest completely. What confirmed it for me is checking the last episode and SPOILER ALERT, the second ML dies so our secondary couple doesn't get a happy ending. It was already a lost of interest for me when my favorite side character dies early in the drama but seeing this just made my decision to not continue this drama.
I had hope for this drama to show the journey of the ML on becoming a firefighter. Like how he was like before (which they did sort of showed this), how he is during the training, his first mission, his hardships, the solutions to his hardships, etc, but this drama just doesn't do that. The FL's character is also very lacking, as the way the writer presented her, I didn't really care much when it came to her scenes.
I keep comparing the 2 firefighter theme dramas in this review but they each have their differences in their own way. Despite the poor plot, poor writing, & bad transitions both dramas have, if I had to pick one from the two, I would say "The Flaming Heart" is slightly better than this one. But again, that's just my preference.

Uma baita série
a série em si em é muito boa, embora ha a presença de romance ele não é o foco da história e sim o trabalho dos bombeiros. Na série existem 3 grandes reviravoltas ao redor do personagem principal, embora não sejam ruins foi o que fez com que eu não desse nota 10 mas isso é coisa mais de gosto pessoal mesmo.em relação a produção as músicas são muito boas. Na minha opinião há um exagero de flashbacks na série. A série
na hora dos incêndio faz um excelente trabalho em criar um clima tenso e de dúvida se tudo ocorrerá bem ou não.

Em termos de mostrar as dificuldades da profissão foi razoável, mas as cenas dos profissionais em ação são bastante superficiais, pois a direção não foi zelosa na criação de várias cenas de resgate. Em relação aos romances, muito ruim, pois nenhum dos três casais são cativantes e, o casal principal não tinha nenhuma 'química'.
O elenco não é ruim, mas o drama é carregado pela atuação de Ren Jia Lun (que surpreende na interpretação de um garoto descontraído e alegre, bem diferente de outros personagens já interpretados pelo ator).
A música Waiting for you under the sun, interpretada pelo próprio Ren Jia Lun, é responsável pela emoção em várias cenas. A música de abertura também é agradável.
