Don't procrastinate to watch this amazing storyline!!

It is worth watching till the end. Also it is mostly office/business related one. And if you like office romance I recommend it. If you are a romance lover you will like it the most!!!! It has a beautiful plot and there are two couples in the drama. The second couple's love story will be very long to achieve success. But in total it is a best romance drama. If you are fan of Bai Lu or Luo Yun Xi then you should must watch it.πŸ˜…πŸ‘πŸ‘............................................................................ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chemistry of main couple went beyond limit <3 (2nd time watching)

I've finished watching this last year and came here to leave a review after i've finished watching it for the 2nd time this year. I have nothing more to say but dozens of compliments. The chemistry of Luo yunxi and Bai lu is just so top-notch. I'm a huge fan of Bai lu and not much of luo yunxi (the only drama i knew and watched from him is when he played evil 2nd ml on ashes of love) and at first the news about this drama didn't excite me much plus i didn't have any expectations then (because i love xu kai and bai lu, literally big fan of both their dramas arsenal academy and the legends), to my surprise though I instantly fell inlove with luo yunxi and how good of an actor he is, he was so into character and when romantic scenes between him and bai lu flashes on the screen, I just couldn't help but be awed at how both their actings compliment one another, they have overflowing chemistry and it felt as if they were a real couple tbh :>. Apart from the chemistry of main lead couple, i really love the storyline, although some may find some scenes quite cliche or rather old romance thing, I still love everything about the storyline of this drama, no scenes were draggy and definitely love how both main lead couple didn't go give me a big headache cause of a misunderstanding unlike other romance dramas. The only thing i didn't really like about this drama was the second lead couple, wasn't really a fan of their romance scenes during the first few parts of the episodes as it was quite annoying but luckily in the end the second coupled managed to pull through --- rather become less annoying for me. Overall, it's such a nice drama, love everything about it and especially so much love for the actors and whole crew for doing amazing job!! I hope luo yunxi and bai lu could work on another drama together, the two of them are just so great together! I honestly love their pairing more than xukai and bailu now. #MANIFESTINGNEWDRAMAFORPOWERCOUPLE<3

Definitely one of the best C-Dramas of 2020

So, I just finished all the drama yesterday and I'm in love with the drama. Like I'm constantly re-watching the episode clips on YouTube. YS is just so sweet that you might even get diabetes from watching him. And don't even get me started on their chemistry. Leo Yunxi and Bai Lu just have so much chemistry that it would make you 😩.

So, below I'll list what I liked about this drama and what I didn't.

Pros:-

1. The lead couple have so much chemistry together that you wouldn't be able to stop yourself from loving them together.

2. The OST was so damn good. I am listening to it on the loop since I finished watching the drama. I think maybe this is the first time I liked the whole OST of a drama instead of a single one. But yeah I do have a favourite song and no points for guessing that it is Things I Do for Love.

3. No long separation or break ups. I definitely was tired of watching the leads in C-Dramas seperating for years just because of some stupid misunderstandings. They do break up for a episode or two but they get back together almost instantly. There is almost no time gap in between their break up and patch up.

4. Almost non-existent love triangle. Our FL had never shown any interest in SML. Like never ever. It was completely one sided.

5. Realistic couple. The main couple were so realistic. Like their relationship wasn't exaggerated for a single bit. The drama showed a true realistic couple in my opinion.

6. Career or Love. The drama showed that we don't have to sacrifice our careers for love. And I loved how our ML supported FL in her career. He never asked her to choose between him or her career. Yeah, he did suggest that she resigned but it was only because he cared for her health. But in the end he understood that she very much loved her job so, he supported her every decision. JJ had both a successful career and a very supportive partner.

7. The SFL. I first thought that like in most of the C-Dramas, the SFL here was also going to be an obsessive lover. But I loved how she never jeopardized our main couple's relationship. She liked our ML but she also understood that he never had any feelings for her. So she never comes between the main couple.

8. Wan Shai. Who was the most adorable character of this drama? Without any doubt it was their dog, Wan Shai. I freaking love her so much that I had to make a seperate point for her.

9. Lifelong crush. I loved how YS waited for JJ for so long. It was like he knew that fate would bring them together again. Well, I don't know about everyone else but I definitely loved YS's devotion towards JJ. He continued to love her even when he had no idea if they would meet again. And I also love the flashbacks from their highschool and elementary school.

Cons:-

1. The SML's obsession with FL. He was literally obsessed with JS. It was scary watching him being so obsessed with a woman who had never showed any interest in him. I never had any Second lead syndrome while watching this drama. I didn't like him from the start and I despised him in the end. His character was the worst character in this drama in my opinion.

2. The second couple's story in the last 6 episodes. I didn't exactly love the second couple's storyline but in the last 6 episodes it was not even watchable. Before the last 6 episodes I atleast didn't skip their scenes but in the last 6 episodes their scenes were illogical and you wouldn't feel bad for skipping them.

3. The 2 years time gap. The time gap didn't make any sense to me. It wasn't exactly bad but they could've shown us some flashbacks for the skipped 2 years.

4. The lack of YS's family. I wanted to see JJ meeting YS's family for the first time. The lack of YS's family presence was something which disappointed me. Like they showed us the bonding between YS and JJ's mother but there was no interaction between JJ and YS's family.

Well, that's all I could think about right now. But I can guarantee that you wouldn't regret watching this drama. And if you're single like me then you'd definitely feel the lack of a partner more than ever after watching this drama 😩.

If you are looking for a sweet rom-com then you can definitely give it a go.

Love is sweet and slightly naughty

This has been in my watchlist for so long. Now that I've finally finished it I can say that it might have been slightly overrated but I'd still recommend it for the steamy kiss scenes, strong FL, dreamy ML, and a fluffy story of success in both love and career.

The ML bullies the FL to make her mentally strong, so she will not cry easily in the future and trigger her tear allergies, this is his way of protecting her. He has been crushing on her for 10 years but she was oblivious and thinks he was just mean. After seeing that he is not a 'bad wolf' in the investment industry, she began to have feelings for him. When they got together, their love is truly sweet with lots and lots of kisses, and naughty times (especially in the office πŸ˜‰).

Another thing that I liked was that the SFL was very relatable. She can be jealous but she was not evil. One of my favorite scenes was when she caught the main CP in one of their moments and they had to pretend to be cleaning.

Just for the SFL and chemistry of the main CP, I really wanted to give this a perfect score but sadly I can't because the tropes used felt contrived and manipulative. Maybe I am just not a fan of the idea that when you like someone, you can make decisions for their life for 'their own good' without their consent and characters in this drama does this a lot. There was also forced cohabitation and while this definitely drew the leads closer, drama conveniently forgot that the ML rented an apartment that he just kept empty. Also, when the issue about the FL's father's death was resolved, the vibe in the series changed and the next few episodes felt like fillers, an afterthought arc for the SML and mostly PDAs of the main CP. Frankly, I was like 'i know your relationship is good, get married already!'.

I actually felt kind of bad for the actor who played the SML because his character was just there for convenience. Need to increase the tension of the main CP through jealousy? Enter the hottie but bad SML. Need a villain who will sabotage the main CP's jobs? Enter the bad and sneaky SML. Need a helpmate for a ML to resolve the FL's trauma? Enter the reformed SML. Need to prove the relationship strength of the main CP for the filler episodes? Enter the jealous SML who became bad again! He reformed again but his ending felt lackluster. He was really not developed properly and there's no real development with his loveline with FL either. It was quite hard for me to accept that he loved the FL so much because their interactions were so few and not really that meaningful. His angst was not fully explored. It would have been much better if there were tropey scenes like the FL and the SML going to important places in the SML's childhood, or just anything that actually showed the FL helping the SML with his resentments.

The second CP also did not help this series as their interactions were boring and had no chemistry. You have to believe they're in love just because of some lighting changes and because they said so. Again I felt like the girl was forcing the guy to like her by doing all kinds of nice bordering on masochistic things for him. If I will rewatch this, I'll skip their scenes and just focus on the main CP.

Overall, this is a good watch if you have time to spare and want to see an adult relationship realistically portrayed.

THIS DRAMA IS A MEDICINE AND IS FILLED WITH SWEET LOVE

1. This drama is more different than any other modern rom-com dramas unlike Love Designer which I liked the most.
2.Cast was good including the supporting cast like Su Chang,Qiao and Yuan ji which had made it more funny.
3.Story is good and almost not filled with any bad things which made the drama more positive and appealing to the mind.
4. Plots and sub plots were good but were bad in the last 6 episodes.
5.This drama portrayed JJ's character well as she becomes sucessful woman in banking in a positive way which is not seen in other dramas

Everyone must see this drama because it shows how to care for others in a very hardworking life

Wish the love was sweeter in Love in Sweet

Cute storyline and I enjoyed Bai Lu in this drama, but I don't know why...it just got really draggy for me. It had a really promising premise, but it just felt like the storyline didn't flow as much as I thought it would.

One of the characters that I actually really enjoyed was Du Lei and I even had the second-lead syndrome, until they decided to give him stalker-ish vibes! He deserved more credit and more sweet scenes with Jiang Jun earlier on in the piece.

The drama was also very unnecessarily long at 36 episodes. It really could've been finished at 26 episodes. Not too sure why the high ratings, but it just wasn't my cup of tea....

Love is so dang sweet..

Bai Lu and Leo Luo are two big names these days and proven in this drama; the chemistry were so on the spot, they're really kissing hugging and interaction as a couple genuinely authentic lovers. I watched Kido Gao from Legend of FuYao and he was great as he is in this drama, as well as Riley Wang. Ok the story was about a girl that has closest childhood friend that just gone for their remaining young life and came back as her boss (forget about allergy to tear - it's the rarest case), old debts and feeling came back as she tried to prove she's capable...the story developed and they lived together in the a few last episodes. Leo Luo, in my opinion (don't get mad) better in here than any of his costume dramas. He's more suitable in modern set up drama than ancient ones. Love is so dang sweet is a perfect title because it was just like cotton candy sweetest lovey love...

Must See!!!

Honestly this has to be one of my fav dramas this year without a doubt. Watching this made me fall in love with Leo the second time after watching a different side to him on Ashes of Love which was so refreshing. The main couple gave me goosebumps with their chemistry and cheesiness that they had together, every moment they had together on screen was so much fun to watch. Leo showed what the perfect boyfriend was to watch on screen by being: well-educated, good looking, romantic, caring and loved her since he was little so what kind of girl doesn't want that in a man? The second lead couple was just adorable as well though it did take some time for them to be together, I am glad they got a happy ending and Riley (Xiaochuan) is always the cutest with his dimple every time ugh the chemistry between both coupes made me love this drama even more with the heartwarming stuff as well as the sad scenes that went along with it so if you are thinking about watching this drama, I would highly recommend doing so ASAP.

Simple romance story, comedy, not lame, nice acting, for me little boring

Initially a little boring but when watching not feeling very long maybe because the comedy part not to lame, many words about work are not clear, at the beginning of the episode the arrangement of the scenes is quite good, but starting from the middle episode starts to appear jumping scene

quite funny comedy and not lame because the acting is quite good, I just can't accept the nickname given "xiao ku bao" "bao bao" just feeling weird leo luo say that

And the last episode after two year i
too many episodes needed for the epilog, so the corupt of dulei is unnecessary,,, and the jumping scene is obvious, even though I feel the story after 2 years is just an addition that may or may not exist fpr the ending

When jiang jun and yuan shuai falling in love i feel very suddenly for jiang jun

Dulei corupt,Can't figure out what the purpose he do this, it seems to be superfluous,, i don't feel dulei corruption is necessary

Loved this drama!!!

I watched the series till episode 30 last and was reluctant to watch the rest 6 episodes because of the comments here. Finally today I decided to watch the rest and I've got to say I'm so glad that I did. Often shows end with the happy ending where the ML and FL get together and this two years later plot showed a glimpse of what is happening in their lives after living together for so long and how they suit each other. Even the arguments between them felt realistic and in line with their characters. Also I did feel the writers completely forgot the tears allergy plot which was fine by me because honestly I didnt know where that was going.
I enjoyed watching this drama a lot and I'm gonna miss it a lot.

Must watch if you love romantic comedy dramas!

This is for everyone out there who enjoys a good romantic-comedy drama! Honey-dripping chemistry between the main leads and their love story is one for the books. Some people are not a fan of the soundtracks, but as an international fan I loved the English OSTs! Especially since a lot of the secondary leads/characters are the ones who sang it. Overall, this drama is a solid watch for me! I'll definitely be re-watching my favorite scenes for months to come. This and Le Coup de Foudre are my favorite modern Chinese drama rom-coms! Keeping my fingers crossed wishing for a drama reunion for Bai Lu and Luo Yun Xi.

I've watched quite a few clichΓ© Chinese dramas and honestly, this one's not so bad..

There are only two things that I really liked in this drama and that is the main leads characters and their amazing chemistry!!! Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu make a beautiful pair that compliment each other very well...
It's a typical drama with a strong female lead and an overly concerned male lead who keeps thinking that his female counterpart is a damsel in distress.. But lo and behold, the female lead turns out to be pretty strong.. Cue the romance.. Add some spice and turns and twists and you get a melodrama...

The actors deserve a huge credit for making this drama work out for me! I have always put off watching Ashes of Love owing to it's sad nature but now, I am even more vary to watch it because I have become such a fan of Luo Yunxi, that I don't think I can handle watching him suffer!

I personally believe that the the last 6 episodes were completely unnecessary... They tried showing us a domestic version of their romance which was filled with usual and typical couple squabbles with pride and career getting in the way of their relationship.. They probably tried to make it realistic but that is the last thing some of us want.. We just want a cute and sweet relationship without the realities of the harsh world... And what pissed me the most was that Yuan Shuai, Du Lei and Jiang Jun, who had all reached to some sort of an understanding and in the last 6 episodes Du Lei just goes completely unhinged and messes up the whole character building that he had done throughout the drama... That was truly very disappointing because he had come to become my favorite..

Overall, it's a decent watch.. I know my comments are filled with negatives more than positives but one persons trash is another person's treasure.. Who know, you might just like it! So don't let my comment hold you back from witnessing their beautiful chemistry!
