Agatha Christie meets KDrama

𝗔𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘆 + 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀=𝟯𝟲𝟱: 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿.

Imagine being able to go back in time and redo the last year. What would you change and what do you really have control over?
10 people make the trip and after "fixing" their lives they start dying one by one.
I was pleasantly surprised by 365, from the writing to the acting and the way it had me engaged from episode one!

Pros:
☆No Romance!
You heard right this show has no Romance at all! We are not stopping the story to think "Who likes me?"🤔 No, instead the characters are focusing on finding answers because someone is killing them off! Thank you writers!

☆Smart writing and smart characters! The twists and turns in this show are so brilliantly executed. When reveals happen you noticed the clues have always been there!

☆ I don't remember reading any bad language they use the word murderer, killer, psychopath and that was it. Unless I missed it or it was edited out with Viki.

☆The acting!
Everyone did a wounderful job especially that one murder scene. No spoilers just that looked very uncomfortable and the actor did amazingly! The make up crew, the extras, the leads in that scene!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
(Everything was PG13)

☆The ending was perfect for the story and I loved it! Made me really want to go back and reread a bunch of Agatha Christie😊

Cons: None I really don't have any.

i really enjoy this drama more than i expect!! first of all im a trash for lee joonhyuk which means i reallyyy love him *cough cough but not a fan of nam jihyun hmm, but for me this drama was brilliant.. so for those who hesitant to watch this, JUST DONT HESITANT CUZ U WILL LOVE IT :)

but if i had to give some advice a bit, the earlier episode (ep2-ep4) kinda give u a wrong picturing about the whole series and i kinda lose my interest at that point.. kinda survival game of time travelling and sort of killing ppl using numerating system sooo boring (like missing 9) etc BUT ITS NOT!!

starting ep5 till the end just WOW the plot twist in every episode just blown me away, everything just amazingly written and make sense.. i keep wondering what will happen next cuz the plots are UNPREDICTABLE, u are truly amazing writer-nim ^^

towards the end u actually can predict who the villains based on the hint given trough out the entire series but i dont think its bad cuz.. thats how the writer try to tell us.

AND THE ENDING MAKE ME CRY :) i really satisfied with the ending.. its sort of an open ending but idk, i kinda like how u can interpret on how things gonna change after that :)

p/s: the ost paris by murmur are my fav <3

"365: repeat the year" was such a beautiful drama to watch. You can see the different types of characters that are displayed in the drama, the ones that wanted to be loved, the one that works as a team, the ones that wants to be everyhting, the ones that give their all to someone, the ones that sacrified. Even with your life at risk, they were important to one another, they had affection for one another, even without knowing about one another. This drama makes you create theories and then just destroyed it with another clue that just proves everything you thought wrong. But the way they all sacrificed something is just beautiful, yet, heartbreaking, everyone lost something, everyone had things they wanted, things they wanted to change, and losing that didn't make them give up.

Anyone reading this who’s deciding on whether or not to watch this, THIS DRAMA IS A MUST. I have never rated a show before watching it to the end, but this hooked me in right at the beginning. The transitions, actors, BGM—everything was amazing. The plot is so unique and different and not a cliche like most other crime dramas. I have to say that this might be the first time I have never skipped any parts in a kdrama. It is fast-paced, so the boring parts are minimal. This has kept me guessing the whole time, and it's impossible to guess who you can trust.

I’m also literally the biggest Agatha Christie lover, so plot twists every episode are literally my whole vibe

(It was enjoyable reading all the theories in the MDL comments every release—a rare case where I’m kind of glad I was watching this drama while it was airing—this seriously was a crazy ride.)

First and foremost the casting was perfect: All the casting members were amazing for thier roles. Nam ji hyun and Lee joon hyuk, what an combo of talent??. If you love watching a mystery, thriller series you would enjoy the drama throughout ?. Till the very last episodes you would keep thinking and thinking about the villian and the possibilities, this is how interesting this drama is. Even though there are no romantic scenes, you would love and adore the chemistry between the leads. She is way too good in that genre. Overall a perfect drama with exiting writing and very good cast. Will definitely recommend this drama.❤️

This drama is very unexpected with the plot twist, a drama with complex storyline
Thriller, mystery and crime. With no lovers scene. Proceed only if you love this genres. One episode to another episodes, you always want more and more. You just cannot stop watching to see what will happen next until next.

This show is so underrated.
It’s fast paced. Thrilling and it will keep you guessing up until the end. It’s well-written. Well-directed. And the actors did a very good job with their roles. It will excite you always for the next episode. A perfect mix of the “whodunnit” genre and Final Destination and time-travel. AND, no romance so none of that dragging, slow-paced cringe moments.

Every twist will keep your mouth open with bewilderment.

Never expected this drama to be SO good

I thought this was a typical and confusing go-back-time drama... the first drama I watched with same setting “time-travel” was One More Time of KMS, which made me literally hate all time-travel series ever, but when I read a comment which drama stresses you, “365: Repeat the Year second to Memorist” it got my attention, since I LOVE MEMORIST drama.

Then it started to get my interest and never been disappointed to finish this drama.

This drama is not that typical confusing go-back-time series, there is more to the story!! I swear!! Although you’d be confused as to how they went back to time and why only their memories can bring to go back in time,

But the storyline was very well written and bet you’d point all characters to be the real killer when it fact it would turn to be the unexpected character

Just a pity that this drama is not literally a romance (which at first thought was—just like in Memorist) the romance is the thin cover of this drama but there’s a lot more once you dive into it.

I can say this is more about personal interest, not a typical romance but more like a brotherly hood (which ends turns very unexpected) for the ML and the FL will just tag along to the ML to have this drama a bit romance

But I DEMAND for 2nd season, as to where the ML & FL will be the main focus of the story and not like ML-and-brotherlyhood show because if you focus on how the ML and FL are related like they are both into their past and present but writer never dwell more to it, so I am hoping for 2nd season as to where the writer will focus on their new future

This review may contain spoilers

"I'll keep short and simple!", said nobody ever... check the tl;dr:

SPOILER WARNING: There aren't any explicit spoilers, BUT if you're reading this before watching, ***THE POINTS I TOUCH UPON MIGHT CLUE YOU INTO KEY PLOT POINTS AND RUIN YOUR EXPERIENCE!!!***

When watching dramas, it's important to be able to gauge where it lies on the spectrum of different genres, and reconcile that with your personal expectations. In 365: Repeat the Year's case, it loosely treads the line between being a sci-fi or fantasy show, while actually being a mystery thriller that's focused on character drama. In terms of expectations, I'd liken this show to what you'd expect from Stranger/Forest of Secrets.

Story tl;dr: Amazing narrative, prime example of suspense of belief in action!
Acting/Cast tl;dr: All characters are extremely fun and interesting to watch!
Music (7/10): Does its job
Rewatch Value (1.5): Unless you really enjoy just watching the episodes/particular actors? 'cause the hold that the suspense held over you is gone after you've finished this show once )__:

Story (9.5/10) : The plot felt rather circumstantial, and overly convenient at some points, but that's just a symptom, or in other words, a necessary evil, of the mystery thriller genre. These types of shows generally have two options available to them: 1) using its super tight narrative to control information, or 2) playing a little fast and loose with the rules to create dramatic situations.
365: Repeat the Year excels at both. One of the reasons it is so captivating is that if often gives both the characters and audience new information at the same time. That simple fact alone makes its "mini-arcs", and the show as a whole satisfying because it's almost as if you're there with the characters, except you're just emotionally invested in what's happening!
This is where it's important to reconcile one's expectations and the show's goals. I feel that people who can't turn off the *"This MUST make sense or I'll keep asking questions!"* button might not enjoy this show. Despite this being a mystery thriller that's mainly set in our "human world", it's actually premised on a notion of time travel and its consequences. If anything, 365: Repeat the Year could be a sort of fantastical character drama. Acknowledging that, along with the fact that many of our beloved works do not always work logically, is probably the key factor in being able to enjoy this show.

Acting/Cast (10/10): This is largely a personal preference type of thing, but I felt that nothing was lacking in the acting/casting department. Trying to sus out who's being disingenuous/evil is genuinely difficult, and the character's reactions to plot developments only further enthrall you.

365 easily tops my fav list kdramas all the time. Its genre is totally my get-go and it isn't disappointing at all. It is really great! Better than Japanese version imo. The characters are interesting; detectives, webtoon artist etc. It is way more thrilling and filled with suspense. Even though you probably see whodunnit as the drama progressed, but still it gives us doubts. It gives the viewers big question marks at the end of every episode. It makes us crave for more; we want to know how the reset working, how the characters' fates are entangled.

The casts are splendid. I've always liked Nam Jihyun and Lee Joonhyuk. They deliver unnecessary chemistry on a thriller work which make me wanting their interactions more. The other casts did very well too.

It is great, well-packed and crafted suspense-thriller with time travel concept. With 12 episodes, I definitely rewatch it.

A Must Watch 2020 drama.

The plot was so unpredictable. Up until a certain point, I really couldn't figure out what the hell was going on. Some of the twists were SO unexpected, it gave me literal goosebumps. I watched it with my sister, and we had so much fun trying to guess what was happening and what to expect next, and with all the twists being thrown at us, getting all excited!
A very fun watch, especially if you like to play detective. This drama is very complicated, you actually need to pay attention, and it leaves a lot of questions unanswered till it is absolutely necessary to reveal it. It honestly keeps the fun going.
Please do watch it with loved one, and get guessing! It's very fun.
My one takeaway from this drama would be that our fate is just a result of our own choices sometimes.
Happy watching!

A solid time travel drama! Watch it for the story, the suspense, and the plot! Those were amazing enough!

This is a fast paced drama that sets around serial killing, time travel, schemes, friendship, and psychological issues.
A really solid writing and world building. Even if there are plot holes, but it was not big ones. What I love about the plot is, we've got some hints, accurate hints. That around ep 16, we can guess who is the real villain that causes all these massacre and who seems fishy. But it was still really enjoyable watching it unfolds.
The characters are written well but not really deep. Well, afterall this is a 12 hours drama that tackles some big story tropes. Some may say that the killer doesn't have motivation but he does have it.

In the first few episodes, the pace was messy. It was kinda obvious they tried to shorten many scenes and only show the important part. And it was kinda off-putting. But as the story progresses, the pace got better and start to become really thrilling.

The music was okay, I guess. It served its purpose of carrying the atmosphere. But, there is nothing really memorable of it. Some scenes and corpses are horrifying, I simultaneously said 'that is straight out of horror movies'. But it was enjoyable.

There is kinda a hinting that the 2 main leads may have some romance down the road. They have amazing chemistry as friends. But until the last episode, I can't really feel the spark between them lol. It felt like brother-sister relationship rather than romance. Or maybe, my romance radar is blunted HAHA.

*spoilers ahead*

But on a second thought, for me, this is more of a parallel universe than a time travel drama. Because we can see in some scenes, the characters have some recollection/deep down feelings they may have known other person. E.g. when maru goes to HJ directly on their first encounter. I don't know whether this is an error of some sort of the production or whether it is just the dog, but it really disturbs the whole setting and atmosphere. For a time travel and pure reset, they shouldn't have any knowledge about the other person, at all. But for parallel time universe, it may happen, imo.

In One Word- S-P-E-C-T-A-C-U-L-A-R

At first I just added this drama to my PTW list hoping I would watch this or just remove it after sometime. But I don't know why suddenly one day I felt the urge to watch this drama.

The first two episodes were better than I expected them to be. And it was good , I was just going with the flow of the drama. But you can never predict how fast some things can change. This drama gradually took a very wild turn attracting the viewers by involving the story of serial killing. Like what was I expecting! I expected that everyone would gradually die the death which was already written but this drama sure knows how to make a fool out of someone and make them feel entirely stupid.

I don't want to ruin this a lot so I just want to say that I suspected someone else to be the murderer but never thought that the person who was actually the murderer could ever be one. When I discovered who the actual murderer was, it sent chills down my spine. I never expected that person to be the murderer.

This drama was just like a rollercoaster ride- you know how it is but still you keep on feeling excited. You know that the end is near, but you don't how it will end. I am just glad I thought about riding this roller-coaster.

My only advice is this drama is never going to turn out just like how you expect it to be.

Loved this drama! Glad I found it :)
