Very light and fun to watch— but lot of twists along the story

I was waiting for this kind of drama, after watching My Girlfriend is an Alien. Although they are both different genre because this one is about Mermaid.

This drama is a light fantasy and modern-mermaid story —but full of twists along the story. Swear! You will find yourself laughing and get romantic excitement on each episodes (like what I did) and you’ll also get emotional especially near the ending!

You will find yourself attached with the story, characters and actors even without noticing you are already at the end of the story.

God. I finished this within a day beacuse it’s intriguing me as what will happen to Ling Kong and Xiao Yu will they break the love curse between the human and merpeople.

And turned out, I am quite dissatisfied with the ending. The ending is very unacceptable because they compromised the ending. However, let there be light and hope for the season 2.

All in all, this is worth watching.

If you are looking for:
-very light and fun to watch;
-get romantic excitement and
- emotional at the same time;
-fairy tale/ mermaid concept
-and short drama only

Then this drama is for you. However, bear yourself with the ending, your feelings and emotions brought to you by this drama might hanged you at the very edge of the cliff.

Great concept but…

I love Mario Maurer & Bai Fern’s chemistry but… their comeback here is such a great disappointment.

Tbh, human possessed by an Ai is a new concept and has alot of potential. But, myghad, the script was terrible! It was so confusing, or let me say the script, the plot makes no sense at all.

I just can’t. I cannot dare to waste my hour & 30 mins when I can just skip everything and just watch it for 10 mins.

I rooted for their comeback, but this movie, is just so disappointing. I hope next time they choose a well written script and better movie for their comeback.

A drama that can turn your whole world upside down

Get ready to get mixed emotions. This is a light (at the start), fun (coz there’s comedy too), enjoying and intriguing drama to watch (bcs, well, you know 4 man in 1 woman’s life, but you will also CRY (because of the deeper part of the story), you will feel disappointed and frustrated because of the character’s’ questionable decisions.

I just love how each male lead has its own story about female lead and ended their feelings well with the FL. However, I just felt quite dissatisfied with ML & FL side.

Yes, it will intrigues you who the real father is; how these men are related to FL; plus why on earth they got separated for 14 f years.

At the beginning, it will excite you how the ML & FL will reconcile (and if ever they will, since there are still male leads in the story).

However, it will get you frustrated (like what I felt) along the story because both leads’ keeps suppressing their feelings, which, ugh, makes their daughter act more mature than them— yes, Ha Nee’s maturity is admirable —but not to the extent she keeps pushing her real father away, when the her dad is already making effort to make things right, which made me feel disheartened.

And when you though everything is already going well (because it’s already near ending) BUT nah, the writer will give you another reason to cry—because of frustration and disappointment!

The ending is not predictable as you’d ever thought would be. IT WILL TURN THE WHOLE STORY UPSIDE DOWN. For me, if you’re already cool with EP15, it can already be an ending bcs EP16, is just another plot twist of the story— which will, somehow, ruin the whole story — but don’t worry, it is Happy Ending. At least. But unsatisfying. Unacceptable because the ending has been compromised. Super.

OH-MY-GAAAAAD!! This isn’t an ordinary drama I expected to be

You know, after watching this drama, I kinda regret WHY.ON.EARTH.I.ONLY.HAVE.THE.GUT.TO.FINISH.THIS.

But it now I also realized. It’s good to don’t go on trend for just watching dramas. For me, this is the perfect timing to discover this hidden gem HYENA.

I just found myself FELL INLOVE WITH BOTH LEADS AND CHOONG LAWERS. Omyghaddd!!!

At first I was actually hesitant if I would be able to finish this and if this worth watching. But guess what, it totally exceeded my expectations!!!

Tbh I was actually expecting romantic ending between leads but well to tell you know, you’d find yourself enjoying it more than that.

I just love how the overall story goes, especially how they executed the political/law + romance + comedy in a single drama!

It amazes me to witness the well planned and written story. Plus the OST!! It hype me whenever I hear if esp in the exciting part of the drama.

Now, I am expecting for PART 2!!!!!! Does anyone is also with me?!

Well, I felt like it ended pretty fast. Can we just have a part two! I wanna witness how the both lead’s relationship will go, the trial pil sung and if ever the FL bought the building….

Refreshing & heartwarming variety show to watch, you will found yourself fell in love with it

I fell inlove with the countryside, village people, the host & guest. But most especially to Black Puppy & White Puppy.

This is my first variety show that I never expected to watch until the end and crave for ramen while watching it. This is just so heartwarming. A variety ver of Hometown Cha cha. Bcs of the town & people 🥺💖

I just cannot wait for the S2. Hoping to see In Sung more in variety like this. ❤️

a roller coaster story with alot of twists

I don’t know why this drama getting bad reviews, but I beg to differ, will just honestly share what I think of this drama, in my own opinion

At first, I was not hooked with the Young FL & ML’s acting, I am quite irritated how the young FL acted. But given her dual role as boy & girl, I tried to hold on until they get old.

While this was ongoing, I stopped watching at Ep8, because I knew I’ll best appreciate this drama once it was finished airing because I’ll be able to watch the rest eps in one go. Hence, I didn’t regret.

I thought on Ep11, everything was going well. I even told myself, the writer gave Dal-Yi few more episodes to be a girl, but… I was quite frustrated and disappointed when just after 2 eps, everything just go back to what it was used to be.

But I realized THIS IS A HEAVY DRAMA which requires A LOT of TWIST & TURN of story. I decided to trust the writer’s flow of story and director for extending this drama upto ep20.

This is not just a typical light story where she pretended to be a boy, has childhood first love, etc.

I barely got to ep17, because I just cannot take the heaviness I am feeling about this drama. But I kept holding on how this story will turn a happy ending.

So… I endured all the people that have to die, skipped the bloody battle because I cannot dare to watch it whole.

I thought on Ep20, everything was just a dream, I almost throw my phone! I almost hated the whole cast tbh! I was telling myself after all those bloody battle, cries, laughter, they have the gut to tell everything was just a dream?! How dare they?! Lol. But good thing, it wasn’t the case.

At the end I AM MORE THAN HAPPY HOW THE WRITER, DIRECTOR ended the story. They let the deserving people to die. Except young prince ofc. But TBH I AM NOT SATISFIED because Yeon-seo. was only given a few minutes to enjoy her new life as a girl. Grr. I was actually waiting for more few eps of her as a girl!!! Huhuhu

I realized, so the writer intentionally made the ML be great at curing sick people because of the ending.

For me, the writer carefully planned the flow of the story, and the director executed it well together with the actors. Given that this is a HEAVY DRAMA. Each character has its own persona and they all stick to it until the end. They became consistent with the character development. Plus the great acting skills of all the cast! Kudos to all the team.

Some people might not be able to appreciate this, but I would like to let you know, I am happy I watched this drama. No regrets.

Court Lady Kim, Bok Dong, Ga on, Hyun, all these supporting cast and all other cast acting were exceptional and I highly appreciate thier hardwork for this drama.

I hope to see them to another drama again, especially my personal bodyguard Kim Ga-On. Hahaha

To be honest, the only interesting part here was until the mid part of EP1.

The plot and characters were written very inconsistent. I find it super confusing, definitely boring and not worth your time.

My tip, just scan every episodes until the end, which I aslo did because I thought this drama was focused on Xiaorou and Yusheng love story. BUT A BIG NO!

It happened that the main story of this drama revolves to Chu Lu only, which made her like the literally the main role as she owns this drama.

To Xiaorou and Yusheng love story became just like just like literally a side story! Which made me super hate this show!

It would be fine if you made Chu Lu as the main role from the start and not give us any hope that this drama will revolve to Xiaorou and Yusheng.

Or this drama will be so much better if you just write this drama all about and focus only to Xiaorou and Yusheng love story.

The drama shows that the author is also confused which one s/he will focus in this show—undecided which one will be a couple of this show! Because it happened that Yusheng and Chu Lu became also a couple for short time in this drama!

Expect no kissing scenes! Hugs and holding hands of Xiaorou and Yusheng are on the last episode only!

super quick, that hoping it's longer per episodes...

This drama plot is quick, because it only focuses on 1 problem. However this resembles me about Goblin, especially the main lead that really looks like Gong Yoo -- but a younger version.

There's something more about the plot, because scripting destiny -- is not usually a common genre -- we only get to watch few fantasies like this. Hoping that drama has something more and longer episode.

Well... I just miss Goblin while watching this entirely. Same fantasies, but no goblin or grim reaper...

a light, warm-hearted, sweet healing drama but with deep stories behind each character

— you will see yourself laugh hilariously and cry like baby!

You know, to be honest, this drama is actually my weekly go-to sweet-healing drama, however never I would expect this will also make me cry a lot. Yes. A. Lot. Especially in Ep.15 to beginning Ep.16. I never expected scene after scene from that specific eps would make cry like a baby!!!

When you thought you already cried a lot from one scene, but the next scene would make you cry even more!

I hate that. I hate the feeling that the story is just so realistic and relatable. Each. Lines. Are. Just. So. Deep. That. Will. Strike. Through. Your. Heart. Whether you like it or not.

But overall, I love how this drama is well-planned, well written and well executed.

Having alot of characters in a single drama (not just 4, but 19+!) will never be easy— bcs it might confuse the audience if there’s at least even one mistake in the flow of the story —

But this drama is exceptional although all these 19+ characters has its own story to tell — not just a typical story but a realistic, relatable and deep story to tell! — the director & screenwriter of this drama, most especially the actors really did a great job!!!

They are so consistent from unfolding each characters’ purpose and story to wraping the story. Plus the cinematography + bgm are just so accurate and perfectly matched with the story! Which makes it more enjoying to watch.

I am just thankful they produced this gem-like kind of drama in the middle of pandemic crisis where all people have a lot to take on their everyday life. Thank you for comforting me for 2 months even you made me cry so much in near ending!!!

Probably, if I’m going to rewatch it, I’m for sure going to end it at Ep.14. Hahaha I don’t wanna cry again.

But if you want some refreshing and relaxing drama, this one is for you! Go and watch it now.

Just amazingly wow

I never knew this supernatural-action drama with super low (or no) romance at all, would suprised me so much!

This is just a great series. It crashes my idea amazingly that highly-rated kdrama series would end with such a beautiful romance between leads.

Although, to be honest, I indeed hoped there will be somehow romance between leads along the story (because they are both my fave KDrama actors), but with its own story alone (the uniqueness and authenticity), it will not disappoint you even there’s low hope of romance between leads.

A new concept of fantasy-horror (with romance) drama!

After the wave of Goblin, Scarlet... I was craving for more series which is somehow likely the same series. Never knew this drama would be that great!

Alot of people rated this negative which I can’t understand and wouldn’t be able to understand. But for sure, this is a highly rated drama just like Goblin. & Scarlet (not as same drama, but the quality of story +actors+songs itself)

You might find this confusing because there are alot of twist. So you really have to focus on the story because it wasn’t that straightforward like other series.

It’s a new concept of fantasy-horror (for me, a mystery rather than a horror) with romance. I just love how this drama was well written even it’s a romance between a human (who could see ghosts) & non-human (an evil).

Other than the story, you’d most definitely find yourself hooked with all the OSTs. All songs are amazing and perfectly made for this drama!!!

Tip, you have to finish it once you’ve started. So you won’t lose the momentum and get confuse once you get back to it.

For the ending, you’d definitely ASK FOR SEASON 2. Just like the Scarlet, it’s a CLIFF HANGING ENDING.

if there’s more good option than this drama, you’ll loose the momentum to finish this drama

if there’s more good option than this drama, you’ll see yourself loose the momentum to finish this drama

these past few weeks, i was into anime, bcs i was either waiting for the airing c/kdrama to get finished. But after getting tired with anime, no more good to watch, i went back to watching c/kdramas.

However… I was really careful on choosing one right now. Bcs I found myself recently loosing the momentum to finish every drama I started last month. Idk why.

But after reading some reviews in the comment about this one, I decided to take risk and watch this.

However, tbh, I ONLY find the EP1 interesting, but as the story goes on I DEFINITELY GET BORED. Probably because I can’t relate? I am not yet on that age to get what these couples trying to portray.

I ACTUALLY SKIPPED MOST PARTS. I tried to hold on watching the story of the main leads, because each couple in the drama has also other story to tell which are definitely way far from the main lead’s story.

However, idk if it’s me or is there anyone on the same page to me, I FIND IT IRRITATING how the MALE LEAD is so inconsistent with his actions. I just don’t like how the script and the his character was written it was so inconsistent.

Sometimes he’s tough, sometimes he’s nice. Sometimes he’s reckless, sometimes he’s considerate. It just confuses me. I feel like ML attitude flactuates — you thought it’s going to somewhere but eventually he’ll be back to the old one. I just find it so cringe.

Especially the stock room office where ML pulled FL inside, like wth — you don’t want to get misunderstood but on the first part of the story, you find it interesting not to explain what happened on that night.

BRUH. I don’t feel like I have so much energy left to finish this. So if you guys have, probably this drama if for you. But definitely NOT for me.

A must - super sweet and adorable drama to watch in 2021!

After looking for something worth to watch eversince the drama You Are My Hero ended, finally! I found a new masterpiece again.

This is really “sweet” Lovestory of all time. I found it resembled to Age of Youth because they are yearning for love and marriage — and the story not only focuses on ML & FL because each of supporting lead also has its own story from the beginning til the end. but while ponder about it, they’re both totally different.

I honestly thought that the story will only focus on ML & FL. But since the FL have BFFs, the writer is also thoughtful to complete the sidestories of her 2 bffs from the beginning til the end. That’s why I skipped a few of her bffs exposure hehehe, but it actually doesn’t affect the story.

I just love how consistent the writer with their lovestory. It’s NEVER confusing despite that the FL also involved in love triangle. From doubting their feelings with other to confesing, it was well planned. Also their acting is a plus point!

I usually watched Doctor dramas, but always about surgeons, physiologist, but this is TOTALLY DIFFERENT. They made it possible to craft a PERFECT STORY about a dentist and librarian. Super love it!

I also love that they didn’t make the story more complicated — only few minutes of unapproved parents, and so on.

Overall, if you want a
-SWEET lovestory
-doctor (dentist) ML
-librarian + writer FL
-adult looking for love & marriage
-VERY LIGHT to watch
-with sidestories of the FL’s bffs
-HAPPY ENDING

Then, don’t think twice, watch it now! You’ll find yourself inlove with the main leads, supporting actors and of course the THEME SONG along the way. Hence, this deserve 10.

Never expected this drama to be SO good

I thought this was a typical and confusing go-back-time drama... the first drama I watched with same setting “time-travel” was One More Time of KMS, which made me literally hate all time-travel series ever, but when I read a comment which drama stresses you, “365: Repeat the Year second to Memorist” it got my attention, since I LOVE MEMORIST drama.

Then it started to get my interest and never been disappointed to finish this drama.

This drama is not that typical confusing go-back-time series, there is more to the story!! I swear!! Although you’d be confused as to how they went back to time and why only their memories can bring to go back in time,

But the storyline was very well written and bet you’d point all characters to be the real killer when it fact it would turn to be the unexpected character

Just a pity that this drama is not literally a romance (which at first thought was—just like in Memorist) the romance is the thin cover of this drama but there’s a lot more once you dive into it.

I can say this is more about personal interest, not a typical romance but more like a brotherly hood (which ends turns very unexpected) for the ML and the FL will just tag along to the ML to have this drama a bit romance

But I DEMAND for 2nd season, as to where the ML & FL will be the main focus of the story and not like ML-and-brotherlyhood show because if you focus on how the ML and FL are related like they are both into their past and present but writer never dwell more to it, so I am hoping for 2nd season as to where the writer will focus on their new future
